Multiple nerd guys. I think the intro music is too loud it. Might be a little bit too loud. I'll fix that because it does sound a little bit different to how we're talking to each other right now. So. Yeah, Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. There doesn't seem to be a volume control for that specifically in Stream yard so. Don't fix it for this week's episode because that's how we've opened the show, so it'd be weird. I can't fix it for this week's episode. This week's episode is currently

recording as we speak. It's too. Late how it works. Yeah, the ship has sailed on this week's episode. How you doing? Yeah, I'm doing pretty well. I was went so my friend Aaron. Today, the parents watch football. Cool. The bunnies won. Oh, you'll love that, don't you? Yep. Me worked out that I still don't understand AFL. You watched AFL? It was on the screen as well and we just kept looking at it going, we have no idea what's

happening. OK. All right. How do you feel like somebody called I? Understand gridiron more than I do AFL. No gridiron. No one calls it gridiron. Does anybody? I've never even heard that word in a long time. Gridiron. Gridiron football derived from rugby, primarily played in the United States and Canada. I guess it came. From rugby. Apparently I'm learning myself, yeah.

Yeah. Anyway, I don't watch many American sports. See the only problem I've got with like the the American football is it takes too long to play a 60 minute game. Sure, I've heard this. I've heard. This the hockey, I think is a lot faster. I don't mind the hockey. Oh, I have. I've been to a hockey game. Actually, I've been to a hockey game. I've been to a baseball game. A baseball game is incredibly boring. Yes, I think they do a lot of

stuff outside to try and keep people interested. They they would need to, yeah. Because. Yeah. And this was a game. This was a game that people were like, oh, that would have been a good one. It was the Yankees, Red Sox, which is apparently a big rivalry. And I was like, oh. Yeah, we we sat there for. Nobody was paying attention to the game. Everyone was just drinking and fucking around. And then in the last 10 minutes, everyone kind of got excited

because it was like, oh, they've got to, you know, they need more runs. Yeah. Anyway, I don't know because. It goes for like 9 innings and they can take a very long time to play just one inning depending on how many fouls and balls and strikes there are. Yeah, well, look, my brother was visiting and he was with us and we had a nice time, but the the the baseball game was of no interest. Yeah, that that that was irrelevant to the nice time. For me, anyway, it's not. It's not for me, I don't think. I know people get into a lot of

the stats of it all. Yeah. Oh yeah. Following the stats and but. And look, I've got friends here who follow all sorts of sports. Like actually we've got Jimmy who listens, may know from various odds and ends that he does with us. We would he's into sports, Yeah. In a broader way, I think he just likes sports kind of thing. Baseball I think would be hard to follow because, I don't know, play like 156 games a year or something ridiculous like Wow. All right. Like they'll when they travel, like they'll play the same team

like 3 three times and they'll travel to the next place and play 3 * 4 times. So it's like it's, there's a lot of games in baseball. It's not just you. Play it once and move on. Yeah, right. Just beat him. Just get over it. Move on. No, no, you're going to win one, then you'll play him again and you'll have you right? Oh, sorry. Soccer. No, it's soccer. I don't know it's soccer. I don't know it's soccer. No, there's just many different

leagues in soccer. That's what I'm interested in is not on for a for a period because you know, there's things going on in that part of the world. The Formula One cancelled the 2 Middle East races that were supposed to be happening now. So there's literally a month and a half between the last race and the next race. And so it's just weird that. That there's nothing happening. I said yeah, literally. I looked at the calendar. I was like, fucking hell, it's still like a month until the next race. I just thought each Major League

Baseball team plays 100 and 262 regular seasons per season. Regular season games per season. OK, let's go. You missed a word there. I was like. Missed a word? This is very important. This is a very important word. So. So that totals 2430 games across all 30 MLB teams. OK. And that's before you get to the playoffs. It's a lot of games. I could not keep up with that. No, it's the job. I mean, how many days of work do I do a year?

You know if I can get over it mate. Yeah, I do a lot more than that. Let's talk about different kind of games. Yes. Xbox Games. Apparently the new boss agrees with me. Game Pass is too expensive. Expensive, yes. She's cancelled hers as well. I think she's going to make some different, some differences to Xbox. I might. Come back. I mean, I haven't turned my Xbox on in a long time. Oh, I bought I bought Conan

Exiles on PC. See this. Yeah. Did we talk about this last week? Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Yeah, you purchased that you could start playing again, but still no Dick. No. No no, I bought it on PC. Oh, you got Dick now? Yeah. Yeah, I got, I got whatever I want, man. I got mods. So I got to say the mods make it cool because you can just like, you know when you do character

creation, right? And then you go, oh, that looks good. And then you start the game and as soon as you get the first cutscene you're like. Yes, because the face like that, Yeah, the face never comes out quite right. Well, so with the the Conan mods you can first you have more options for customization and not just the Dick other other stuff too, but also you can. What's that? Tits. Yeah, you could cyberpunk it up and mix and match whatever you want. You couldn't do that in the base

game, but you can just edit your appearance when you when you want to, which is I feel like games should always give you like 5 minutes in the option of like. Are you sure? You sure that you've? Created. It's what you want. Like you see the cutscene that you look like now? Is that what I feel like? Mass Effect was the worst offender on that Mass Effect. Every Mass Effect game you make a character and then you start playing and then you go oh fuck you look like an idiot. Yeah, yeah, the second you see

the face from just side on and. Yeah, or like. Moving and. It's like, oh God. That's not what I was aiming for. Yeah. Anyway, I'm happy she's come out and said said this. I'm happy she's also making a difference with the achievements. I don't, I don't have the new achievements yet. I should get them soon. I mean, it's a. Huge change on the achievement front. They're just. It's a.

It's a start. Yeah. Like. Yeah, so they've got the Game Pass tears. I, I've got so many games on my Xbox. I feel like the one that's the middle 1:00 which gives you like not the new releases wouldn't appeal to me because it's kind of all I would want it for. If it's an older game I've probably bought it on sale or something. They're, they're talking about, I've heard rumors that they're actually looking at removing the Call of Duties of being a day one Game Pass release.

OK, I don't care about those games. I know you don't care about them, but that's just a rumor of her. OK, are you are you think that would scare people off? People like those games. I think people like those games and I think that might also, if they were to remove them, a price drop would have to happen because a lot of. People sure. So it might be just. To clarify, I don't dislike those games, I just don't care about them either. Yeah, yeah, right. They're fine.

I'm like have no issue with them. They just, they don't excite. Me, I'll log in every now and again. The last one, the last Black Ops was weird and I gave last one because. It's pronounced COD blobs. You had to play with people. Oh, you hate that? And then if you could play single player, but there's no pause and if you die you go back to the start of the level, there's no checkpoints at all. I mean. It's designed to be played Co-op. Right.

Oh, so somebody can revive you or whatever. Yeah, yeah, like the division or? I don't like that. I just want to play a game. Well, wait till Dune comes out. We'll play Dune. Yep, still playing it. Still. I wonder if my Yeah play it. The other Yeah, play it every couple of days. Every couple of days keep your base from this. 3 bases mate 3. Bases. O3 bases. There, make sure they're all powered up. Yeah, I've got one.

I I put I've got my main base which is up on a Cliff. Yep. And I've got 2 bases in areas where there are things that I need. Needs so you can just yeah so I would just stop off drop stuff off here and go out and mine. And there's, yeah. And there's one base in particular that's in a spot. There's an area of the map that's irradiated. You need a radiation suit to, to, to be in the area there. And then even with the radiation suit, you've got to leave after a period of time, otherwise you you will die.

But there's a little spot that is down there where there's just no, it's a little clear spot and there's like a little thing of rock that you could. Put and you just managed to find it. And I've got a base on there and I don't know how I got lucky because there's me and then on the other side of the rock there's another guy or another person. And it's being nice. You're just sharing the rock. Yeah, and I'm like, fuck, I got lucky because now that they've they've like sized down the number of servers and everything.

Yeah, there are so many more people on our server. Like there's fucking bases everywhere. But that's what happens. Not down in that spot because me and whoever that other guy is. You own it. We've got the rock. That's what happens like with all of these games, like they start off with tons of servers because there's so many players and players start to drop off and then people get transferred over to yours. And that's what killed The Old Republic for me. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. Because.

When they shut down my server, they move me to another server. Someone had my name so they just change the name I. Remember that? Yeah. And so like, no, I, I like that name. Why did you and I just never went back and played it? Every day it doesn't even come up. I was big Starklighter. I managed to get that name. Oh, oh, that was definitely going to be taken on yes servers, yeah. And why did I have to lose it? Yeah, because I had an Australian server and I was

shutting them all down. Yeah, yes. There's also a lot of abandoned bases on my server too. I think people come on and they play a bit and then they leave, but then the bases disintegrate. But they look weird when they're disintegrating and it's like. And. There's all people leave this stuff in there and I'm like, just let me have it If they don't want it, let me have it like. You're not allowed to walk in and steal their stuff. No. Which makes sense like. Well, when it's deteriorating,

why not? It's deteriorating, but they haven't officially. If they go in and they officially abandon it, like if they open up the you have like a console for your base. If you go in there and you say abandoned base, all the stuff will stay, but it's no longer yours, OK. If they do that, which I that's happened to me once I've, I've come across a base and I've walked in and it's been like, I could open the containers and take stuff and I was like, holy shit. Somebody just was like, I'm not going to play anymore.

Abandoned base and then left. If they do that, yeah. If they don't do that, then you know they might come back and fix it. OK. But is there a stage where we'll get to a point where not anyone can? It's got until. Stage. I don't think so. You just go in. No, you're just just destroying. Disappear. Slowly wears away and then eventually I guess. Wormy to. Well, the worms can't come on the rocks yet.

They're evolving, but I don't know, maybe it just leaves the the console, the computer there, I'm not sure. Well, hopefully we'll we'll it finally does come to Xbox. I'll be able to join your server that's. What I'm wondering, too, is that can. Yeah, they shared. Well, they don't. Will they be shared? They don't exist. Yeah. Console version, because I don't think Conan was like that. Could you share on Conan? Oh, do you know what else I found out on Conan?

I can run a server on my, my my Nas downstairs, my, my computer downstairs. In theory, if we wanted to have a Conan server again. But then I'm like, do we want to do that? I don't know. I don't. Know so I need to go through the effort of setting that up. Like would you wipe the game every week? I. Would try to avoid that, yeah. That, that, yeah, that really just ruined the game for us to wipe some game wipe is actually good. Like, it's not a public server.

The wipe is actually a fun thing and everyone joins in and runs around and builds their thing. But when we're paying for just the three of us to have our own server and we can't play very often, we don't want to wipe. Yeah, And it was unclear to me, are they wiping it because there are problems? Every time they do an update, every time they do anything, they'd be like, Oh yeah, server got wiped and it's like, hang on, what? Yeah, it was very confusing. Yes. And I, I, I think it was more on their side than the game side. I really do.

I'd say yeah, I think you could just probably just leave it running and I'd see why you couldn't be able, you wouldn't be able to do. That, yeah. So anyway, how you pay for ultimate still right? Game Pass Ultimate. Yes so I've got PC and Xbox. I actually just finished playing Grand Theft Auto Japan version. Wait, what? So there's a Grand Theft Auto 5 Japanese version that was leaving Game Pass soon. Oh, so I moved my Xbox over to Japan. No, no, no, just the GTA5. And then I, yeah, moved my Xbox

and said I'm in Japan now, installed the game. And I just played through the story of that. You played through the whole of GTA5? Yeah, Again. Yeah. I finished it quite a lot of times I think anyway, but without I didn't do a lot of spy quests. Yeah. So I only got like 300 gamer score for it. I just don't. Those games just don't interest me. I don't know why everybody loves them.

There's an article in here actually about GTA. Where is it? Yeah. Oh yeah. Apparently from GTA Online they make over $1,000,000 a day. Rockstar. Which is actually making me dread GTA6A little bit. That's. Fucking crazy. This is from. OK, so there's actually another article related that Rockstar got hacked, yes, and. And Rockstar just went, we're not paying yet. So they leaked the data and they they made more money out of it.

Yeah, yeah. So yeah, a limited amount of non material company information was accessed in connection with a third party data breach. Oh, OK. So Rockstar weren't hacked, someone else got hacked. So like their CRM system or something got hacked. That's right. They, yeah, they released the information and it actually turned out good for Rockstar because how much money they're sort of making. And then people just brought more stocks and increased their stock value. Right.

Which just before the release of GTA 6. Is their stocks going to do very well for the rest of this year man? Over $1,000,000 a day. Who's buying these? The money in the game. $498,000,000 a year fucking. Hell, and that's why I'm not looking forward to GTA6A little bit because I know that GTA 6 is going to come out. They're going to focus on that at the start and then they're going to release the online version later. I think they're going to do the same thing that they did and then they're just going to not

give me any single player DLC. It's going to be they'll go play online with people who just like to blow you up for no reason. Yeah, yeah. And for some. Reason. No reason. Enjoy that because it's fun mate. It's not. I just want to go on to the online. There are missions I can play by myself, Just let me do them. I don't need to be blown up for no reason when I'm just trying to do this little mission that hurts no one. I don't shoot anyone.

I've killed no one online. You'd be bad at Rust. Yes, I'd just be. I want to be friendly. It's like I've been playing a little bit of Arc Raiders. Arc Raiders, I've heard of that. It's an extraction shooter. And I'm not interested. Yeah, go on. I'm, I'm actually sort of enjoying it a little bit and but it's fun when you're on a server with people who are nice. There's robots. There's robots, yes. OK, it looks cool. Yeah, but there are, there are sometimes where you've been a server where people who are just

camping the extraction point, so when you go in to try and extract, they'll then just snipe you and kill you and it's all like, well, that's just no fun, right? I don't mind. But there are a lot of people who are nice and they there's a matchmaking in there that if you're not killing people, that will try and match you together. Oh, all right. So. You should be friends together and suck together. Well, it's not sucking. It's we don't, we don't want to kill other players. We just want to go in there.

I thought you meant like if you not doing very well, they're like well here's a buddy. No, it's yeah. It's just that they'll put the people who like to kill each other in the same server and the people who like to work together in the same server. Like it's just a nice. Seat all right? No, that that makes sense. So I keep bumping my table and everything wobbles. Sorry everybody, if I'm giving you the wobbles. Wobbles if you're watching this. OK, yeah, no, I've just been playing Dune, been playing some Conan, just single player with

my mods and what else I've been doing game wise. That's probably about it. Yeah, I've been what? You haven't really been playing much. I've been playing a lot of crappy games to get the achievements like like GTA5 the Japan Japanese version, not GTA5. Is it in Japanese? No, it's in English still. OK, so it's literally the same game. That's the same game. There's some missions, some missions that don't exist. And then there's a few other changes, like there's a mission

that if one of the missions in the like normal version, you get drunk by your son and your son steals your car and drops you off, that's taken out of the game. The strippers don't show their breasts. And there's a few other like just, yeah, some missions, just. What do they show you then? They're in a bikini. That's not a stripper, that's just a, that's just a a girl that's. A girl at the beach, Yeah. Exactly. Yeah, not paying for that. No. Well I did.

I did pay for it just to see if they did take their tops off when 320. And they didn't. They didn't. Oh wow. Then I left. Remind me not to go to a strip club in Japan. Yeah, I don't even know if they even have them in Japan. No idea. I've been there, but I didn't look out. Strippers, yeah. Well, oh, I've been watching something actually, just quickly. I mean, this is a old show, oldish, but I've been watching

the rehearsal. The Nathan. Fielders. It's very funny, I. I still don't know. Was the ending? Was he just coming? I haven't seen it. I haven't seen all of it. Don't tell me, don't tell me. Sorry. I've only seen three episodes. OK, yeah, You'll need to let me know at the end though. You'll know what I mean all. Right. It's very funny. I like Nathan Fielder a lot. This is a this show is his definitely the strangest thing

he's done. Yes. Like I just don't know where it's going but I'm interested to find out and it's. Very hard to just. He plays so straight all the time. Yeah. And then always Even so, Nathan for You is very funny and has such many great little moments where you can tell you can. He gets like a look at his face when he can tell you can tell He's like, this is funny. Like let's pursue this. And I love those little moments. Like there's one in Nathan for You with the the guy who owns

the gas station. But yeah, it just says someone says something weird and then he's like, I'm going to push on that. I like like the one last night was the guy who was it's the guy. So if you don't know the premise of the show, this this is slash watches. He in order to prepare these people for something that they have to do, he sets up a rehearsal. And the idea is so like the first episode is this guy who has a trivia team, and he needs to tell them something and he's scared to tell them.

Like he, he came out and like he, yeah, he doesn't actually have a degree. He. Doesn't have a degree. It's, it's so silly. But like he, he finds these people on Craigslist and it's like, this is, this is real. Like people apparently, allegedly, I guess I believe it so far. But he sets up like a fake bar with actors and actors follow his friends, this guy's friends around secretly and then learn how to behave like them. And then they basically they rehearse the whole thing over and over and over.

So, and the idea is, he says, by the end of the rehearsal, you'll know exactly what to do. And you'll know what no matter what happens. Whatever happens, you're. Prepared for every eventuality. It's very. It's very funny, yeah, but it's very strange. Yes, but he he reminds me of like Kunk, like how that she can just keep but then but then when? You. Yeah. He'll run with something very strange. Oh yes, The guy who? The guy who once his

grandfather's inherited his brother won't give it to him. And then he's like, they're practicing him trying to convince his brother to give him the money. And then but his brother won't do it because he thinks his girlfriend is a gold digger. And then he starts, they're doing the rehearsal and at one point he starts bringing up that she's Jewish. And then he comes there and he's like, sorry, we didn't talk about this beforehand. Are you, you going to bring this up? You're going to, you're one of your arguments to your brother

is going to be that your girlfriend's Jewish. She doesn't need the money. And. And he's like, yeah, yeah. And he's like, OK, I mean, I don't want to discourage you from doing something you would naturally talk about with your brother, but this is a very odd line of of. Argument. Maybe I need to watch it again, it's been a while. But then also you don't know how true it actually is because I know I've seen like some bloopers of conch and when they start laughing and you. Actually, I've resisted Googling

whether the rehearsal is real because I was wondering if it would ruin something later because I've avoided looking anything. Yeah, keep watching and let me know. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. I need. To know, I need to know what you think of the ending. That and I also watched a bit of that. I think you should leave, which is also very strange. It's like a sketch show with that guy. You would you, you would have seen this guy.

I think you should leave with Tim Robinson. Tim Robinson. Yep. Yeah, it's his sketch show, and it's very strange but very funny. No, I haven't actually seen this. I might have to look into it because I I do know him. Yeah. And he is. It's funny. It's funny. It's it's it's really weird, but funny. Yeah, yeah. I can't even describe it. It's like awkward, awkward

humor. Yeah, very awkward. Which I don't really like awkward humor that much. I don't normally, but I do find this very funny. It's almost like the, the, there's one sketch in particular I ended up really liking. But I, I, I, it started and I was like, OK, And then when the, the bit that was the funny bit started happening, I was like, this is not funny. But it just goes on and on and on and on for long enough that I'm like, I became funny. OK, yeah, right. I will give it a try then because like I hate some of

those shows like prank shows and stuff where the whole goal is to make people feel awkward. I can't watch that prank shows. They give me massive anxiety. I can't do it. Like it's sort of like, no, you're just using these people for games and they get nothing out of it. And there's a few shows that have got mainstream for it. There any kind of there's pranks that I don't mind depend. It depends. Like that impractical joke is I hate that show. Yes. I can't watch what I'm thinking of.

Yes. But things like there's I watched this clip the other day. I've seen it before is to be, you know, there's, there's it's a similar kind of thing where the guy's interviewing Tom Holland, you know, Spider Man. And it's the same kind of thing where he's got two other guys on headphones telling him what to do and he's interviewing Tom Holland. And the whole thing is he's saying like, why are you pretending to be British for this interview? And Tom Holland's like, what? And he's like, why are you pretending to be British for

this interview? I've just seen the movie and you're American. And then he's like, well, I'm, I'm an actor and he's like, how is that possible? And it's like this whole that was funny because it's harmless. Yeah. And it's like a controlled environment. It's just a different vibe to like random people on the street where you're. Like, and the problem I have is with those prank shows is sometimes like there are people who can sort of do it well and do it like that, But then people see that and then they take it

into and there's a whole bunch of thing YouTube thing where people run into the the back of like a McDonald's or something and claim that someone's chasing them. And so they get their friends are running after them and go like what my girlfriend. And so like these people are just doing their job. Like that's just annoying them. And you you're doing this for 12 year olds who think it's funny. We're too old and we've just lost a bunch of potential subscribers because. They're I don't think we need 12 year olds these. Old bastards.

I don't like what we like. No. If you like that, if you like that type of stuff, I don't want you to watch. Whoa, whoa, whoa. No, no, no. Watch anyway, it's fine. I don't care what Luke says. Did you watch the Street Fighter trailer? I did watch the Street Fighter trailer, have you watched it? Yeah, I watched it. Yeah. What do you think? I think they've lost the plot. I just. Don't know, man. I see the comments and

everyone's like, yeah, it's just like the game. I'm like, it is, but is that a good thing? Thing I. Don't know. I mean, I don't know what I expected. Mortal Kombat 2 is coming out soon and I'm actually looking forward to that. Like. I haven't seen the first one, the. First one's actually quite good. Yeah, right. And it didn't go on the gimmicky, like it's actually more of a serious. There's still jokes and stuff

but it's more of a serious. Yeah, that wouldn't work as well with Street Fighter, I don't think. No. And it's ridiculous. It's. Ridiculous. But then I don't know what this trailer was like. It just seems I Yeah, no Van Damme is all I'm saying. Wait, so you're you're saying that the original Street Fighter movie? I love that movie. OK, OK, OK. OK. All right. And you're worried that this

deviates too much from the. Yes. OK. Interesting. So Kylie Minogue. Yeah, I'm not sure anybody else feels that way. That's that's. Yeah, just I don't understand what this movie is because like I know with. Seems like an adaptation of the video game that as far as I know did not have a very well thought out. Story. I know. Yeah, I know. Mortal climate has a lot of law behind it, yeah.

Yeah, yeah. Street Fighter is just, we're just going to fight. We made a bunch of weird characters and then you make them fight. There's no, I mean, unless I'm mistaken, there's no. Although there were a lot of Street Fighter games since the one I'm talking about. I'm talking specifically about Street Fighter 2. Yes, that's the other one I really know. Yeah, yeah. I don't. I've not played. I've played four a little bit and I don't know that I couldn't

tell you the plot, so if maybe maybe this. Maybe it is story behind it, but yeah. Because there's characters in this that went in Street Fight too. Like I know I'm familiar with some of these characters like Cammy. Right. Is a Street Fighter character that I don't know anything about. I've never played a game that she's in. I just know people cosplay as this Street Fighter character called Cami. Cami, I know that chumlee's in

it and they make a joke about her thighs. Yes, see that? I get that. I get that. Like that. Like that joke I get? Yeah, blank is. In there geils in it as well. Isn't it Canon? And Oh yeah, blew my mind. Ryu's name is Ryu, apparently. Yeah, that's wrong. My whole life. My entire life. That's an Australian thing, I bet. It has to be, because no one ever called each other out. It's always been right.

Right, that's what we've been calling him that since we were kids. Yep, Yep. God, we were wrong. Yep, but I don't know it looks like. The story's going to focus on Ken. I don't think it's a very heavily story based film. Honestly, no, But I do think it's going to. From what I saw, it's going to follow Ken, which I think is strange because Ken's just a copyright. Right, Yeah, they copy pasted him and changed his hair and his Yeah, yeah, but maybe that

changed in the Lady Games. I don't know. Maybe Lady Games have a very elaborate back story that we're just maybe they. Do. And maybe this is very, very true to that. Yep, I won't know. I'll go and see it and I'll give you a review when it comes out all. Right. I may or may not watch it, I can't guarantee. I'll be honest, I'll probably come back and say you can skip it 'cause after I throw the trailer, I'm not excited to go and see it.

Yeah. But I will go. All right, in other movie news, did we mention this last week there's a new Avatar the Last Airbender? Like a continuation of the cartoon series. You know the old. Nickelodeon cartoon series, right? There's a a film Avatar ANG the Last Airbender, which as I understand it it's a sequel to that series and it's supposed to be coming out in like 6 months in October and someone on X said Nickelodeon accidentally emailed me the entire movie. Oh God.

And if they don't, yeah. And then they, I think they said that a couple weeks ago. If they don't release a trailer, I'm just going to put it out there and they put clips up. And anyway, they've released the movie, like this person has leaked the movie, the movie's out online. Now you can find it, which is. This seems like a very strange. Odd thing to do because this seems like this person can get sued for a lot. It's really weird, it was aiming for a theatre release and now apparently they've accidentally just sent it to someone who's. Released it and because he was

because he was upset that they didn't release a trailer, he just released the entire movie. Right. And then the other thing, too, is that he put clips up and people were like, oh, this isn't real. But then he got a copyright strike and they were like, oh, it is real. Real. And it's like, you fucked up there. He could have just not said anything. Yeah. So yeah, I don't know what to make of this. It's really strange.

I don't know if we'll ever find out how that happened. Well, but I think they will be able to find out who they accidentally emailed it to though. You would think so. This person has an X account. Yeah, I'm still dissing. Hang on, let me click on this today. Any new updates? I can't see anything because I'm not signed in. Let me have a look. I'm still dissing. Didn't do anything wrong. All accounts I used to follow on here were way back are talking about this.

I'm really going. I'm really getting up in Guantanamo. I'm logging in. Man, I just got an extradition. Oh my God, Spirit Max is weird now. Yeah. Yeah, I just don't know how the fuck this person got it. I'm not affiliated with anyone who claims to be selling the movie. Yep. Yeah, I don't know, man. It's really weird. And this person didn't have a lot of followers or anything. But yeah, you look at some of these things and he's just

playing into like, woke up to a guy in an FBI shirt at my door, a female body investigator, like he's making jokes about. So I don't even know if it's true. I mean, the movie is available. That's that's. Important whether it's this person. Like, see, this article says clips of the new Avatar movie leak, but the the the movie got leaked, got released an updated article about this and the Last Airbender leaked. Yeah. I mean, it's it's just out. Yeah. Like, yeah, it's so strange.

Yeah. So yeah, I was just wondering if this is an actual person who really accidentally got it or just saw that or stuff leaking in them, which just. Hey, yeah, I've got it and. Yeah, look, someone who worked on the film, an animator said. We worked on the ANG movie for years with the expectation we get to celebrate all our hard work in theatres just to see people unceremoniously leak the film and pass our shots around on Twitter like candy. So disrespectful. It's really strange the Paramount's decided not to put it in theatres now.

Oh yeah. Well, it's so. Fucked up. Well, well, yeah, because the audience that they would have got to go to the movies, they would have already got to download. So, so weird. So you've. Yeah, these people have just ruined this for a lot of people who maybe would have gone, even though I have no interest in this at all. And then the comments on here confuse me as well. Right. I kind of hope Paramount will learn from this release on

Paramount Plus is a bad idea. It's got nothing to do with Paramount Plus. No, someone sent the fucking movie to somebody. Like, yes, like what are they meant to learn from this? Like they were going to release it in theaters. You're going to be able to go see it there, but because people just decide to release it like Paramount Plus has nothing to. Do with it it's yeah, I I just I wonder if we'll get follow up on this and just I'd love to know how the fuck did somebody e-mail because eight first of all saying you emailed the movie to somebody.

It doesn't make any sense. There's going to be more to it than. That. You cannot e-mail a movie. You can't e-mail. AI don't know any e-mail that will accept a gig file. No, it's like a 25 megabyte file limit on a lot of e-mail services. Yeah, they already sent it a link to something, but like, how the fuck did that happen? Like, it's just, it's all very strange. Especially just someone who didn't really have like a lot of followers. Seemingly some random person.

But they weren't like a unless they're not a random person. This is they made a burner account, yeah. But this account's been around for quite some time, it's just not really been active. Yeah, but like, yeah, I don't know. Because we get stuff right. Yeah, they said this to me. I'm not going to make a Twitter account and leak it. Oh God though, I'd never do anything like that. So I just I. Was wondering how does this happen? I respect things. When we get stuff said to us

that go, hey, there's an embargo on it, I go right not saying a thing. Yeah. Even with packs, they sent out packs. So I was sending a few emails to me about like, hey, tickets going on here, but there's embargo into the estate and stuff like that. Like, Yep, kept quiet even though the information is also publicly available. It's sort of weird. Yeah, they've already announced it, but then we had an A bugger from talking about it to this stage. Yeah, we're well behaved.

Yes, we don't step on anyone's toes. That's very weird. But yeah, no, I don't know if this I I think this person just sort of found it online and just went, hey, I'm going to claim that it's been hang. On how did they find it online though it got leaked somehow. That's Well, yeah, I don't. I'm saying that he maybe found the leak, was one of the 1st to see the leak, and then started going claiming it. Not maybe. I don't think he actually did it. I think he's doing it for. Me saying oh they emailed it to

me doesn't satisfy my curiosity because. That doesn't make any sense to me. There's more, there's got to be more to it than that. Like who emailed it to you? Why was it emailed at all to you? Like, why was it in a place that could be emailed? You know what I mean? Like. Yeah, no, I, I think this person just like stumbled across it, saw it was there and just took credit for. It like, what I want, what I'm the detail I want is like, OK, they were sending it out for

sound mixing or something like that. And so they shared it on, you know, one of those files sharing services and put the wrong e-mail address in or something like that. Is that what happened? OK, yeah. And I'll be like, oh, OK, I get it. Yeah. Like, but just the way that it's been described is just fucking weird. The way that it's described is completely not true. Like no one, you can't e-mail the movie. It's not possible.

Yeah, so I don't. We've got some other movie news. Yeah, So there's a new Lord of the Rings movie, did you know that? Really. Why I've only seen one and it was went for hours. You've only seen one. Yeah. Which one? Lord of the Rings, the first one. Fellowship of the Ring. You've watched the others. No. Really. No, you. Should watch those mate, they're good.

I'm I'm not a fancy person. No, no, OK. No, not fantasy, Doctor Mike. Closest I get to fantasy is Terry Pratchett. Like that's. I mean, that's literally fantasy so. It is literally fantasy, but it's more than jokes that bring me in and then. Yeah, it's got jokes in it. Does it? Yeah, yeah, they're not as frequent as a Terry Pratchett. Yeah. Story but. But yeah, but like, I haven't seen that. I'm not watching.

I also don't understand. Pratchett's dead, Jr. Tolkien's dead. You know, they're all uncommon. All right, Well, they're making another one because I guess Andy Serkis wants to direct it and he's going to be Gollum again. It's called the Hunt for Gollum. He's going to play Gollum and Smeagol. Who he? Maybe you don't know this because you've never seen the later ones, but Smeagol is. The story. OK, all right, Smeagol is who Golem was because you don't read books too. We should make that clear.

Though. No, but I do. Yeah. I I've lost the ability to you. Don't know how to read? Yes, I used to be able to, but I lost the ability. I mean, I question that, but whatever we've done, we've done this. I think you probably just can't be bothered, but Elijah Wood is coming back as Frodo. Lee Pace is coming back as Thrandwell. Really. Yeah, I wouldn't see them being in it. Yeah, no, they are like, in fact a lot of people.

Are coming back a long time ago and then Yep, turn into Gollum. So why would Elijah Wood be back? Well I think it's more about it's called the Hunt for Gollum, so I guess it maybe it takes place during Lord of the Rings. Oh, OK. They're turning into a sort of a spin off story that. What is the? That's not a reason. It's probably based on something book related. I, I yeah. I just don't know exactly what the plot of this is, but Mccallum's back, Mccallum's back.

Elijah Wood is back, Lee Pace isn't. He wasn't in Lord of the Rings using The Hobbit, but he's back as that character through Andrew. But Vigo Mortensen, Aragon is in this, but Vigo Mortensen was not interested in in doing this seemingly and so. For kicking a helmet, wasn't he? That's right. So yeah. You know some that's not even in the first movie and you know that you have that's in this. I know stuff. Yeah. Do you know that from that meme video that is on Instagram Reels

and whatnot of the people explaining that to somebody? I think that's how I learned. About it. All right. OK, That makes sense. So anyway, they've got a new actor to play Aragon. OK. So yeah. So this is going to be set during at some point of The Lord of the Rings and then I'm not going to have a side quest. I'm not sure I was like, I'm like half slightly interested in this. I do love the Lord of the Rings movies. I did not like The Hobbit

movies. Well is it? With The Hobbit they turned like the smallest book into a trilogy so had to pump it full of stuff that didn't matter. And I I mean the same guy fucking made this the movies and I just don't understand. Yeah, it's sort of weird for me. I should have been he should have made The Hobbit 1st and just done A1 movie to go hey look for what we can do and then went into the Lord of the. Lord of the Rings was that that that doesn't matter. Lord of the Rings was good. The Lord of the Rings trilogy was so good.

Then I know it. Was it was great, right? And they didn't, I mean, I know what you're saying, but they didn't need to. He, he, they. Didn't need to. They ordered and then he went back and then that we got to turn this. And then people say I liked the King Kong movie he did, but people point to that as the you can tell from that movie that he was like gotten to the point where nobody's telling him that's a bad idea. And it's just it's it's gone too far. And I do see that in King Kong.

But I did like that movie. But then I watched the Lord of the ring that sorry, The Hobbit, and I'm like, it's fucking this guy needs to be fucking reined in. This is. Ridiculous George Lucas when no one was able to tell him no. Sure. Yeah, Except I do think now I look back on the prequels and I'm like, I think maybe we were a little harsh on them. He was right about not just doing the same shit over and over again, because look at what? Happened I know, but episode 1? I know, but but I mean, I still

think he was right. He was trying to do something different. He wasn't successful. But I also think if he had just tried to do Star Wars again, it wouldn't have worked because Disney did it and it didn't fucking work, people. No. Look at what happened with the. Sequel trilogy, as you can say with the sequel trilogy, the reason that didn't work is it confused a lot of fans like me because you got rid of all the extended universe and then just. But he hated all that stuff too. No, he signed off on it all. Though, No, But have you George?

Have you seen that? I know this is somewhat satirical, the Mara Jade clip. No. Where he George Lucas. He's like Mara Jade. It's not my character. I don't give a shit. And there's a clip of when they were doing Robot Chicken of someone hang on, let me find it. Oh, you know, we can watch it together. Here we go. We're going. To We're going to try something new. Yeah, here we go. This is exciting everyone. Here we go.

How do I do it? Oh, yeah, it's complicated. Oh, man. All right, I'll figure it out. We'll work it out. It's going to happen. Yep, all right. What I need to do is I need to click this button and then I need to click this button and then I need to click this button and then I need to click this button and then now in theory you can see my YouTube ready. Yes, OK. As the creator of Mara Jade. Wait, I am not the creator of Mara Jade, and I want you to get out of this office right now. I'm sorry.

No way. No way. You brought it on yourself. I don't want to hear. I'm sorry, George. I didn't think it would go like this out. Ted, I got your voucher out. There. Yeah, that's a joke of. Course it is. It's just funny. Because yeah, like he did sign off on a lot of the stuff in in the extended universe, especially with Yeah, like at one stage there was the Han and Lei's children, there was Jason Trainer and Anakin. They wouldn't Anakin become evil

in one of the things and he's gone. No, you can't make Anakin evil. You can make Jason evil. Like he did have still a lot of creative control over the extended universe, but when Disney came along, they just. Did whatever the fuck they want. We we wiping it out all. Don't worry about that. And so people like me, I know who grew up with the extended universe got very confused because you're bringing characters back that were in it, but then you're not following it. But they're the same character. But then sometimes they're not.

I know because they've got Throne showing up in. Things, yeah, but. Well that's the TV series too, but not the sequels. I don't know, I just my point was just that I think I think the prequels are not remembered as badly as we thought they would be shortly. After they came out, there were people who grew up on them and that is their movies. That too, Yeah. I mean, I'm not going to watch them again. No, I've watched the original trilogy and then I'm. I'm good. Oh, I'm actually learning my

lesson. I'm going to go see movie next weekend. OK, I'm. Going to see Raiders of the Lost Ark. That's a great movie. Yep, they're putting that on in my local movies and I'm going sick. Yeah, I would love to. I would love to watch all three. Yeah, the Indiana Jones movies that exist. Just those 3. Movies, those 3 movies? Oh no, I've I've sort of come around to there's 3 1/2. Crystal Skull. No, not Crystal Skull, the last.

Doll Destiny. Donald Destiny, I didn't. I didn't mind doll destiny. Yeah. Yeah, I, I see the flaws. People talk about this and that and I'm like, yeah, I get it, but. But no, it's felt right, felt right, like it like it. Crystal Skull we just need to forget about like that. I've got to rewatch that. I'm just, it baffles me. Well, when you get one of the lead characters that you want to have an accent, maybe you should see if they can do the accent first. It's they're an actor.

Actors can just do accents. Like Tom Holland? Yeah. Pretending to be British in the interview. So anyway, yes, new Lord of the Rings movie. I will not be seeing it because it's going to go for like 5 hours or something. Well, it's a different director too. Sandy Serkis. He did the Planet of the Apes movies. I think he did some of those. He's done some stuff that turned out I. Didn't I? Didn't I own all the Planet Apes

movies? The new ones but I've never watched? Them. I've never seen them. I should watch them. I'm like, I turned out, I turned from. I'm a film enthusiast. Enthusiast. I would still say that, except I realized I don't watch anything anymore. I don't watch movies. I barely watch any movies I like. I just only I'm enthusiastic about the ones I saw when I was young. Yes.

New ones. Well, it's a very different time when we're all young. It's because that's all you got. We're we're, we're spoiled for choice. Now it's harder. That's true, yeah. There's so much stuff. It's not just movies, you've got all the streaming shows. There's so many different streaming shows that are good that you want to watch. Like I still have not watched season 2 of End or I don't know what's good. Yeah, I should watch that. I've watched that. We're making our way through

Shit's Creek still. That's a good show on that when it came out. Just watch the latest season of Always Sunny OH. So good. Wow, that show's fucking. I don't understand how they're still making it so good. They just keep going. That's. Funny, Here's a weird one for you. Yeah, you know Bloodborne. It's one of those Souls like games, yeah, it's not playing. Game. Yeah, yeah, yeah on that. It's PlayStation exclusive, which is why you wouldn't be

super familiar with it. Well, it's also it's a Souls game and I cannot stay in those games either. But, well, I mean, I like the look of Bloodborne. In fact, yes, if it had come out on Xbox I think I would have played it just because it looked so cool. But. It's like with Elder ring. Elder ring looks amazing and I tried to play it and then just. I gave it a good go as well. I gave Elder Ring a good go. Couldn't get anywhere because yeah, I could be patient. Yeah, that whole thing where people like, oh, you know, you

just get to a boss fight, you just have to fail a bunch of times and learn the moves, this kind of stuff. And I was like, oh, I actually, I don't enjoy that. No, I'm trying. I just, it's not. I enjoy. It I'm not patient enough and I don't have enough time to sit there and learn how bosses go. And then they've got different phases. So you might learn the first phase and then they're going to mix it up and you go and then you'll die again and then you've got to do the. First, well, that's the game.

I'm like, yeah, I know. And I don't like it. Like it. And I'm, I'm, I'm fine with that. I've made peace with that. Yeah, and that's why plot porn looks amazing. I won't play it. Well, will you watch it? There's a they're making a movie of it. And the interesting thing about this apparently is that it's being made by developed and produced by Jacksepticeye, a YouTube. And everyone's like saying that this is quite strange because has this guy ever made a movie

before? Like I just don't it. It's apparently this is controversial. Well, that's not the first one to not for Shushu would to go out and make a was that movie like there was just iron lung. Oh, sure. Well, Markiplier, that made that, sure, but that's not. Adapting another thing that's like. Well, not else. Adapting a game into a movie. Was it? Yeah, iron lungs a game. Oh, I thought he just made a movie. No, no, it's based on the game

Iron Lung. OK, well then maybe. OK, so. Like there's precedence horror, but yeah, just feel like a few of these people are starting to, they want to be more creative. Wait, horror film written, edited and directed by Markiplier. It's. Oh, it is. OK, You're right. I know it is based on a game. All right. Fine. Yeah. Yeah. Because I was thinking it's just like, if they, you know, we're

if this show was more successful than it is And. And then they were like, all right, would you like to adapt Fucking. I don't know. I'll adapt stuff. I'll adapt anything. I'll adapt, My Little Pony. But like, I'm trying to think of one that's not based on anything. I don't know. It just seems weird that they would come to us and say, OK, you've made YouTube content, make a movie. Well, I don't think they went to him. I think he went to them and

went, yeah, you might be right. I will, because he's producing it. So he's basically, I'm going to pay for this like the money's coming from him. Well, I'm going to go with he's reporting, developing and producing. Oh, it's animated. Oh OK, that changes things. Yeah. I missed that. Yeah, you're right. There's that word in there my eyes did not read. But yeah, I don't know. I mostly I just saw people going. Why the fuck is this YouTube

doing this? And I was like, that's a good question. I don't know. Well, yeah, I think with the fact that he's just developing and producing and then he's basically. So for me, he's just going to be paying people to go and make this for him. And hopefully he's got the taste to say yes, no, whatever. Yeah. To manage it, yeah. But I don't even know who this person is. Or I've seen, I've heard of him. I couldn't tell you. I don't think I've seen any of

his videos. Maybe I have. Yeah, I, no, I, I'm watching, I'm looking at some of him and I've, no, there's nothing on here that I've seen of him, so I have no idea. How many YouTube subscribers has he got? 31 million. OK. Yeah, a couple more than those. Yep, just a couple. Yeah. All right. What do we know then? Well, The thing is, what happens is people go out, they make a lot of money and then they're good at everything.

Right. Elon Musk, for example, Yeah. That's right. Yep, he knows everything. Yeah, Yep. He, he was he he's had a few successful manufacturing businesses. Therefore, he's probably good at everything. Good at everything? Yep. Remember when we used to like him? Yeah, I do actually. He ruined that for us. Like when he was like he coming up with a boring company and brought out the flamethrower stuff and it was all a bit of

fun and. Yeah, it was. The Twitter thing really fucked up. Yeah. Yeah, it was like those people just before that, people were like, I don't know about this guy. And then yeah, the whole Twitter thing, just. Just brought a lot out and then. Yeah, it's really weird. The fact that like. Oh yeah, because. It was the thing with the guy in Thailand, the the. The the, the he's gone. It's in The Cave like he was going to go, like I'll make a

submarine and go in and then the title it. Was science that he was, you know, but. Then yeah, yeah. And now he actually when he talks, he loses. That's why Tesla went. You have to stop talking. You are losing US money. Yeah, yes, it's kind of funny. AI. There has been a lot of AI stuff going on. It's changing constantly. People are freaking out about it. There's just just so much stuff. It's happening so quickly and I can see why people are freaking

out because. Yeah, but I'll tell you what, if you're, if you listen to this now and you're freaking out about AI, what you should not do is attack Sam Altman's house with a Molotov cocktail. That's not. A No. I think Sam Altman's having a bad week. I would argue, actually, somebody failing to firebomb your house is actually not as bad as Ronan Farrow writing an article about you because the article is about basically about how, like, Sam Altman lies a lot and how that's been a a feature, not a bug for open AI for a long

time. But now people are starting to question, can we? We can't trust this guy. He just lies constantly. And the article is basically about how, yeah, he does lie. He doesn't. I listened to an interview with Rona Farrow about it. He said. It seems like Sam Altman has this unique combination of he's a people pleaser, so he will lie. Because like whoever is happy too happy at the. Time also has this kind of psychotic trait where he just does not care about the

consequences of being found to be lying. You know, normally you would feel bad if you lied and then someone found out. He doesn't have that. Like he just continues to lie and he doesn't he doesn't have that kind of guilt. He. Seems sort of sort of young. Sam Altman. Yeah. I mean, he's younger than us, I'm pretty sure. Yeah, yeah, Maltman. He is 40. He's slightly younger than us. A lot younger. He looks good.

That's what money does for you. I. Mean you. You would think he'd be stressed, honestly. Well no, if he's just lying and just not caring then. Well, that's yeah, maybe. But yes, someone tried to Molotov his house. Don't do that. But it does show that obviously people are people are fucking worried about this stuff. Well, what is I don't, I keep saying like we keep automating jobs and turning everything else into a more higher skilled thing. What are people meant to do for

work? Like if we keep just doing everything and then the people who are like you look at the Amazon workers who get paid pennies to run around and have to hit quotas and do all of this, and then their jobs are being automated anyway. I hear what you're saying, but. Everyone go. I don't know if that's an argument for just. We should not do it though. No, I'm not saying we shouldn't. I just. There needs to be. History like. There needs to, yeah, but it's what happens though.

No, no, I, I, I know, yeah, I'm just saying, I people seem to say, yeah, for example, OK, AI is going to take say software developers, right? So my job, right, junior, this is actually a concern in my industry that so many companies are using these AI tools and not hiring junior developers anymore because there's like Claude code can do what a junior developer does. The problem is you don't then have somebody who becomes a senior developer leader to to go over the stuff that the Claude code is doing and fix it later. And eventually the concern is. Well then now you've just got

this shitty code is becomes. The baseline, yeah. And like, so I don't know, is that an argument to just not use them and and just artificially say we should not use this incredible tool that? You. Know what I mean? Or do we just have to figure out? We we need to, we need to have it, but also work out a way to just have it work alongside, not replace or look at another stream for people to. Abstract it even more like say you have a business, right? And you have you hire a person to do a specific job and then

now that we've got ChatGPT, ChatGPT can do that job better than that person, right? And so some people who would say, well, you have a moral obligation to just keep paying that person to do it, even though. I've got this cheaper alternative that. Will yeah, I just don't think that's the way to I don't, I don't think you can do that. I think it's unfortunate and I don't I I don't know what the solution is. No, I don't think the solution is just pretend that we didn't invent this thing. You know what I mean?

No, because it is there, right? Is going to be useful and I find it useful. I use it. I use, I use Claude all the time for stuff. I used it the other day to sort my fucking documents folder. The thing it can do. I just said this is a it's a goddamn mess. And I don't, I just, I don't want to go through everything. So I just said, can you organize this? And it just did it. It was amazing. Yep. Like, yeah, I don't know. It's just everything's happening

so quickly. And I think that's, and I think it's, I don't want to be me, but it's the lowest skilled people who are going to be push down like the automation's a lot of everything. Lower level, what do they call it? Like desk work I guess is what I'm saying. Like if you're a plumber, right, you're fine. You're fine. If you're an electrician, you're fine. In fact, if you're an electrician, it's probably a good time to be an electrician because with these things need

fucking electricity. But. But yeah, you're right. Like low level knowledge work. That's the word, Yeah. Low level knowledge work, Yeah is arguably under attack from it right now. And for those people who don't have that sort of knowledge, it's they're going to find it harder to get a job, but and then called out for not working. But then where are they meant to go? Because you can't also, at the end of the day, you can't have everyone working in a high knowledge job. It's.

No, no, Exactly right. Yeah, Well, this is what Andrew Yang used to say. I listened to. There's an interview with him years ago where he was talking about this. This was before any of this had happened. This is like even just a few years ago before we were talking about this stuff. But he was talking about the self driving trucks, right? You've got all these truck drivers who are driving stuff back and forth across America, right? What you know, we don't need them anymore in a few years,

say, right, The trucks drive themselves. You can't just say to this guy, go learn to program a computer like, no, that's not feasible, So what is that person supposed to do? Yes, because like learning going for a truck driver to learning the program, you can do it, but. Absolutely. But there's well, how old is this person? You have a family, you have like, it's not, it's not easy. It's not easy. And then there's also how many jobs are available in that space that you got all the go to. Yeah, well, you're going to hire

a truck driver who just learned how to how to code, you know, during a spare time, or you're going to hire some kid who went to the college, or you're going to pay Claude Code to do it now, apparently. Yes, so let's stop all the doom and gloom. Yeah, let's end on something funny before we go to the after party, because we're meant to be a fun podcast. All right, all right. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I thought this was fun. I was having. Fun. I thought I was having fun, but

I thought we're going to be we're getting a bit dark. All right, fine. They got the future. It's getting weird. Don't. Worry we're not going to be needed much longer anyway. No. What about the podcast soon? They already do, man. They already. Do and people listen. They've probably got more subscribers than us. Yeah, All right. What do you want to? Talk about I do want to talk about the Trump phone, but I want to save that for the after

party, all right? I'll move it down, all right. What about the Lego heist? Let's talk about the Lego heist. All right, three men in California have been arrested in collection with the theft of $1,000,000 worth of Lego. So they brought like three boxes. Yeah, they filled 2 box trucks in California. Yeah and stolen from. Does it say where it was stolen from specifically? I don't know, but they. Yeah, apparently just filled up to two box trucks full of Lego and I was like, what's the motivation?

Like did they just see what's a high value item? Well, it's a high value and it's also easy to on sell. Like you go on eBay, you just sell like it's an easy thing to sell. Yeah, like there's a market for it, especially you go on like eBay and just put it on and people just bid for it and away you go. And because it costs you nothing. Right. Yeah, seemingly, yeah. And yeah, you're not having a hard time on selling it. So I can actually see why this would be a crime, Lucrative

crime, yeah. You think they had a meeting and they were like, all right, what are we going to steal? And then they just narrowed it down to fucking Lego. I think they did. I think there's a lot of thought went into this because it's you're not worried about having because there's no serial numbers on it or anything like that. You can just. Yeah, right. It's not, it's not heavy. It's they're in boxes, easy to move. They lit up to two box trucks and then where they were

arrested, there were empty cargo trailers with the Amazon logo on them. So they've gotten those from somewhere. So I guess they were going to pose as like Amazon drivers in Getaway like that. That's fucking. I think they put a lot of thought in. For this, yeah, I know. It's kind of interesting. I would like to see a movie made of this. They also It also mentions in the last paragraph that there's like a whole Lego black market which is interesting. Oh OK, I know there's like the

knock off Lego but a notice of black market for real Lego. This comes the Times says. This comes on the heel of a similar bust. In October, the police investigated an entire Lego black market in Lake County, California, rating what appeared to be a Lego figurine chop shop. I need more information about Lego figurine. Chop chop. Hey, there's a link here. Let's see. There you go. Police break up Lego theft ring, recovering hundreds of beheaded figurines. I'm still confused.

Officials said they'd recovered 10s of thousands of Lego pieces at a California home and arrested a man who trafficked in the stolen collectibles. So I guess I don't know, he was stealing them and. Just. Chopping the heads off, but heads off. You don't really have to chop the heads off. If the heads come off, the heads not know that. That's the hell they work. That's like if you chop the little stump off. Yeah, you wouldn't be. Able to put a heads behind that. Yeah, exactly.

What's the point of that? Maybe that's where the the the serial number is on a Lego is in. The neck that actually is so strange. How can they not know that they're not actually beheaded? Mate, who knows, maybe they didn't. They just didn't have a very good childhood. They didn't know about Lego. Well, actually when I was growing up, I didn't have Lego. I had I played with my cousin's Lego. Oh, that euphemism. No, no, OK, You had the castle and everything.

Oh, OK, I had Robin Hood's little that Robin Hood playset, which is very cool with the trees and whatnot, and then a just a bunch of random fucking Lego, like a big box of just random. I I now have a ton of Lego. I was looking for for Lira. I've gotten her a couple of sets and she loves it. Lego or Druplo? Lego. Lego, Yeah, She helped me build my Formula One car Lego, which is somewhere in this room. So I bought her some smaller sets but like it's fucking expensive. It is.

And I looked on eBay you can get just bulk boxes of Lego, but I look at the reviews on them and it just disturbs me a bit where it's like you can make sure you wash these because they are filthy. And it's like I was. Like, I don't know that I want to deal with that. No, I'm just hoping it's you can buy. I think you can buy directly from Lego just. Yeah, right. I did buy her a big a crate of it, but it's not it wasn't as big as it was implied to be. Yeah, and you need to make sure you've got wheels in there and.

Sure, because yeah, when I was a kid, we just had all the the stuff I needed to make things. Yeah, in a in a big crate. I don't know where the. Fuck, you got it. I went to my cousin's house and it's just a suitcase and it was just, you open it up and there was just everything in there. Yeah, wow. Not like drugs, but then he had children and then they got instead of me. Yeah, he thought you were going to inherit it. Yes. I would have liked it. You have a lot of Lego though, I know this.

About I have a lot of Lego. There's actually a new Lego thing I've got to build that I remember I brought six months ago. There's Do you see the Lego Project Hail Mary? The Lego Hail Mary. No, I didn't know that. I'm making that. Yeah, it looks sick. Man, oh wow. Yeah, I kind of want that. Looks good, I might have to look into that. It's the ship, and then there's a little little Grace and little rocky. It's boilers. Oh, and they're not huge either.

And it's it's been. These are nice bits. It it switches from like travel mode into centrifugal mode for the gravity and you can spin the little thing and it spins. It's cool. Oh I'm yeah, I might be buying this. Yeah, well if you want to help Luke afford the Hail Mary, Lego Hail Mary, you can hit patreon.com/multiple Nerdgasm and for as little as $1.00 a month you can support the show financially and we would really appreciate that.
