welcome to multiple nerdgasm with your hosts Matt Luke and Dan multiple nerdgasm your guide to All Things nerdy okay good morning how are you or good evening for me oh morning for me it's nearly morning for me another half an hour and it'll be morning just very very early morning sorry would would 121 be classified as morning um or am I just being silly no I think people still say that's you know last night or that's that's nighttime it's really the middle of the night yeah it's literally the middle of the night yeah yeah and I apologize for you having to be up at the middle in the middle of the night it's okay I've just been spending the last half an hour

trying to find a game I purchased on Steam the week ago I can't find it it's not in your steam Library it is but I don't remember the name of it oh huh and the problem is now I've got my new computer I went through and added all the games I've got codes for and I've got through Humble Bundle and all this and I now have like 570 games wow see I've slowed down because I I just don't have a PC I just still don't play PC games do you remember the type of game it was like a remote control car game right well I can't help help you with that I'm afraid I don't know any yeah yeah no just I'm going to have to I'm going to have to leave I'm going to have to shut this down and I'll will look for it later yeah that would be good yeah sorry about that that's right

can you Google remote control car game I mean not now obviously later but can you Google remote control car probably could but yeah prefer to do it the the hard way I was just going to install it I probably wasn't wasn't going to play it anytime soon but I was just going to have it installed so it's there in case I'm ready to play it one day yeah yeah I think as far as Steam goes I don't really play games anymore I just collect them and so I don't really they just need to be installed they don't need to be played I think that's how it works yeah yeah I've I don't I've only got like 37 installed so I haven't gone crazy with the installs I've been very selective with what what I have installed but I've not played any of them went to another bloody pack last weekend how was that

it was kind of crazy actually uh you and I have been bit different to the Australian one yeah you and I have been to paxis before um and you recall it was pretty big it's uh huge yeah it's bigger now they've managed to to make it even bigger and I would say possibly too big in my opinion it's uh really yeah it's a little overwhelming actually they've got those of you listeners in Australia who who've been to Paar um you know you've got the am I talking about listeners who've been to a Pac before in general will will appreciate you've got the uh the show floor and then you've got all the panels and things and the show floor at PA East in the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center is the biggest and last time we were there it

was it was still the biggest but they didn't it didn't take up the whole show floor they actually had very similar to pxa where they have those kind of a barrier at the back and then behind that is tabletop you know what I mean they have like a wall and then beyond that is a tabletop area yeah yeah they had the same thing at Pax e last time we were there this time uh they did not because there wasn't room for that so the whole place the tabletop area was still you know up one end but like there was there was no free space and all all the the booths and things were really close together and like the whole show floor was full and at one point we went to try and play some tabletop games and there were just no tables available it was

just like it just packed wall to- wall like video games and board games and and wall to- wall people just I have to ask this did on the last day yes how did it smell in there um I think it was it was all right actually you got to remember though it's uh it was snowing the whole time ah okay yeah it's it's chilly it's a little different with conventions in Australia on that third day with uh yeah I mean I'm not going to lie there was 's need to clean more yeah I'm not going to lie there were a few incidents where I went because there just always are at these things but uh yeah no it wasn't that bad yeah it was pretty bad for getting getting into panels if you recall we had trouble with it yes last time and uh

this was no different so we had to line up for quite a long time to get into some things with some of the panels I've heard of over there with some things it's sort of like you that's what you decide to do for a day is line up to go to a panel yeah we that will be a day of packs for you we didn't make it into the Mass Effect panel uh which we then watched on Twitch afterwards and I was like thank [ __ ] we didn't line up for that because it was in my opinion it was a shitty panel they just they just played the video that would have been a yeah that to me is a silly thing to go to because that game comes out this week that's a waste of time pel to go to we did line up for my favorite panel at every packs and I always tell everybody if you if you can you should go to the

gearbox panel the gearbox panels are always awesome even if you don't like their games they still have the best panel I don't care I don't care what you say did they have a giveaway this time oh they had two of them Luke they had two of them they gave me two games this time really yep guess what they were well all right uh I actually know what one of them is what Borderlands 2 no oh nope but you just started playing it oh yeah but that's that's uh that I have no idea I hav just started playing it I just decided to play it more they gave us battleborn but that's oh I actually quite like that game it's a shame that game didn't do better yeah

yeah it looks fun I haven't played it oh I know what the other one is Dishonored Dishonored was the other no dish I'm looking at the achievements you got the last couple of days oh that's you're not going to find anything related to it in there oh okay cuz one of them's not out yet as a clue oh what did you get that's not out well there's a clue what's what of think gearbox well gearbox publishing actually they didn't make this game it's a it is a a HD remake of something that you know what you might not even know coming out there's a new uh HD version of Bullet Storm Bullet Storm something oh related Edition yeah yep I knew that I have played that game I knew it was

coming out and I don't know really why they're asking for why they releasing a um HD edition of that game why is that didn't really do anything for me the game did you like it have you played it yet yeah I I played a little bit when it came out I borrowed a copy of somebody just to check it out and I mean it was fun and in in the panel they had uh they got three of the best Bullet Storm players they had a big Booth obviously set up on the show floor and they got people in to try and do you know because the whole point of Bullet Storm is killing people in creative ways and you get like score multipliers s of the whole the combo and yeah exactly so they had a competition over the over the weekend packs to um try and get the highest score the highest kill multiplier score

and uh they got the three people who had gotten the highest score up on stage and they did it live and they won uh they said they were the winner was going to get a was it GeForce uh GTX 1080 or whatever that new [ __ ] hot video card is yeah I don't know much about video cards anymore I used to I know it's better than what I have I have a 1070 oh okay uh and then they actually just gave all three of them uh one so a so that was cool yeah it's good panel Randy did some magic as he always does yeah I'm really hoping gearbox come back to Australia for the next packs yeah should I buy my ticket for this week yes that's right Australian listeners packs tickets this week get them I'm not going to be able to make it back for this one unfortunately means I'm going to have to miss two maybe next year though

hopefully next year at the moment I'm every single a packs I've been to and that's going to continue so what else did you see do play Touch we're doing actually an episode Jenna and I will be joined by our friend James uh we're going to do a recap of packs so listen for that it's going to be on the specials channel uh we got some interviews up on the specials Channel actually I don't know if listeners you've checked those out yet you should um we interviewed a bunch of devs including some Aussies who were there there were a bunch of Aussies at PAX East they had friends from G who remember you very well Luke yep I like those guys yeah they're cool so we had a good chat with them playing death squ which we've talked about I'm sure many

times uh death squ is a we have I'm actually buying that game this week yep you should buy game this week and I'm G to play it with Hannah you should it's a great game test a relationship yeah that's right it's a game where you have to talk to each other that's right you have to communicate yes good at that no you're not good at that terrible at that I am all right Yoda I think what I want people to do and then for some reason they don't do it yep weird can't imagine why we also talk to Nick from Samurai Punk who you know Luke as the man who had to challenge you in screen sheet his own game uh cuz you were oh that that him yeah you're in danger of beating everybody and so he had to jump in and

he he remembers that cuz you made him sweat I nearly beat him as well I know you did he remembers that too yeah he was there he was showing off uh his they got a new game called The American Dream which is very funny uh it's about guns uh and if you want to hear more about that listen to uh PX o P's East podcast I'm so used to saying PX Oz wish was dead don't worry you'll get there back there one day I know yeah played a bunch of games met a bunch of people it really good uh we played the switch and I wanted to ask you and I yeah I know what you're going to say because I already I already know kind of uh how you've been going with your switch how you been going with your switch yep uh I played it again the other day yep is that the second time you've played it yep all right how long have you had

it uh a week now okay it came out on the thir so oh yeah I've had it for two weeks now okay You' played it twice yeah I'm worried that's what's going to happen if I get one and Ian not to say uh we had to go of breath of the wild I like the switch in handheld mode I just I'm still dying a hell of a lot for a Zelda game what happens when you die actually I didn't die in it I'm not bragging I'm just it just takes Tak you back to a safe point and you keep playing oh all right cool and the weapons the weapons keep breaking so quickly oh yeah yeah I've heard people complain about that actually and yeah I did have I got an Axe and then it was like breaking almost instantly and that's like all weapons they will barely last you're lucky if

you get a weapon to last you an entire fight yeah look it looked really good on this on the switch itself when the switch was in portable mode uh on the TV I wasn't I wasn't that impressed with it up on a TV I've actually been playing more handheld so I'll be Hannah will be watching something on television yeah like The Good Wife or something yeah and then I'll just be sort of sitting next to her yeah well I mean twice you've done that that's how yeah it actually is twice I've done that yeah I know I keep going to take it with me somewh yeah but I never the only place I go is work that's what I'm worried about too if I was still in Sydney I used to catch the train to work every day and I had

like it was a pretty wasn't super long but it was long enough I used to use my 3DS all the time on the train I think if I was still doing that I could justify it but here I drive to work and then I drive home and if I'm at home I'm just going to play the Xbox so yep I'm I'm the same I don't if I caught the train when I like when I was live in Sydney that would be great like an hour half an hour on the train each morning or even an hour Sundays that's fine but you know I don't I'm not going to play it on the bus yeah I can't play games on a bus just can't do it I think other thing I'm looking forward to yeah but um flying I think it'll be good for oh yeah absolutely I I it's going to be great for flying but I don't really fly that

often how often are you going to do that like when you go to packs when I go to packs so at the moment my next flight will be in November so good thing you got in and bought one it's also an hourong flight so yeah it's like be flag for a long time but maybe if I come visit you at some point it'll be good then oh yeah yeah look I I know as long as I bring Lottery battery packs battery packs with me yeah because they don't last that long we could probably plug it in on the plane depends on the plane you can get usually get USB charges for these things I've got a USB one for my 3DS that I use but see that's the thing I know I've learned a lesson because I've got a 3DS and I actually do love my 3DS like it's it's great it's got some great games but

I just never play it because if I'm going to play it I'm at home and I'm like oh I'll just play one of my Xbox games that you know are yeah you know set up and ready to go I don't have to dig the 3DS out of a drawer I don't know and I know listeners uh have commented and replied on on Facebook and that which uh you know we'd love for you to chime in with your thoughts on it I know some of you are really enjoying your switch uh I think it's just I don't have a use case for it it's not that I don't like it I I thought as a portable it seems really cool but uh I don't know I just don't think I would use one so I don't want to kind of spend the money on it you know it's so weird like in America I know they're sold out yeah I think they're

getting some I think you'll find some stores are getting them in stock this week I don't know actually I think places like Best Buy and Target said that they just have them anyway so I don't know how sold out they really are whether that was just like a Nintendo limited the online sales to to make it seem like they were sold out cu I in Australia still get one yeah people just went and bought them I know I know that that so I don't know I think maybe the the sold outness of them was exaggerated but we'll see I think we'll wait see I still think this will be Nintendo's last console really you think I should just get into publish this is it or or game making publishing I guess game making and probably handhelds I think they'll stay in the handheld

Market cuz they own that yeah there's no competition for them apart from mobiles yeah well the switches seems like like a good mobile console just portable just doesn't seem like a good home console well comparatively I don't know four I think you would be better off carrying your 3DS around than you would be the switch really yep it's smaller yeah like a 3DS you can actually fit in a pocket yep yeah well you can fit easily in a bag I know it's a big pocket one of my large Pockets but the switch it's just it's a weird size yeah I think it's I actually think it's too big to be a handheld that you'll just take with you everywhere right so you just don't take it anywhere that's just my thing

eventually I'll probably get one but also there's only one game that I want to play yeah it's Zelda and you can still go out and buy that tomorrow and play it cuz you have a Wii U that's right so I could just do that oh and the other thing yep I played uh they had a cool setup at PA East for the the Nintendo Booth was set up like a d half was a diner and half was like an like a cross-section of an airplane it was like example places you could play the switch was pretty cool was a fancy little setup uh and I played that's pretty cool some of Mario Kart on the switch and it's a little weird because I mean I swear to God the [ __ ] Wii U version doesn't do this like it just Auto drives for you if you don't do anything what yeah you won't win because you're not you've got

to drift and and you know pick up and use items but if you just don't do anything it goes like it drives that is brilliant it's about time they brought that in why what are you talking about I don't know have you ever been somewhere at a because I go there's a few bars which I've gone through that have like Mario Kart playing yeah there's nothing worse than you're playing you're playing with four people one person puts their controller down and goes away right now the rest of you race and finish for you to move on to the next race that fourth player has to finish the course all the time has to run out is there a time there's no time there's not I don't think there's a time no I don't think there is is and so you actually have to pick up the control and race it again

you've come up with a reason why that's not [ __ ] that's fine yeah that's great all right cool well I just thought it was weird what's to be upset about I'm not upset about it what to be upset about not upset about it I just thought it was weird I was I I I was playing and then I stopped and then I realized that that he was still going and I'm like what the [ __ ] and then I so I I just experimented with a bit and uh yeah just it just keeps driving no matter what you do and like steers and everything it's like that's weird maybe the Wii U version does it and I haven't just haven't noticed because I didn't haven't stopped playing it in the middle of a race and put it down and then been like wait what the [ __ ] no no it's a it's

that's a good thing okay I'll take that on advisement so P was good uh enjoyed it also something I've been enjoying this week and I know you have as well and we need to organize a time to enjoy it together is a bit of Ghost Recon wildlands I finished it y that's fine I don't care F you I I still want to join I still want to play it with people though yeah yeah I know I haven't had that fun yet okay cool yeah yeah we got to do uh bunch of we'll do some co-op stuff because I think that'll be really fun oh God this game sucked me into going to get all those Collectibles H more than any other like normally I'm like I've developed a strong uh avoidance sense for that stuff and then I realized as I was playing I didn't even notice that

they were just Collectibles like I was just clearing out all the areas and uh and then realized hang on a minute this is I don't even I this isn't even part of the plot I'm just doing Collectibles but yeah but not just they're there they're not out of your way they're easy to find they just they sucked me in and the gameplay in it it's really good so yeah Ghost Recon wildlands uh it came out last week it's uh it's the new ghost recon game it's way more open world than the previous Ghost Recon games that I've ever played I've played um like uh Ghost Recon was yeah sorry yeah Advanced Warfare they were they were really cool those games and this is similar because it's got the Drone aspect

CU you have the Drone in that as well but one thing I think this is going to be a lot different than the last time we played a ghost recon game oh yeah yeah exactly one Where Da sort of crouching moving forward going all right guys where are you and I'm sort of I've met some guys over the other side and we're in their fir fight I'm dead yeah you would just run off go Rogue yes yeah that's that's a strategy that you were employing this game's a bit more designed for that you can go in whole stealth thing or you can go in guns blazing yeah I did notice that your your rating uh was skewed a bit towards his Run and Gun whereas Jenner and I have both been playing it kind of more you

know we use the Drone and we kind of take people out stealth and stuff yeah your score reflects your uh impatience in that regard I think your Tactical levels really low well I I think it's actually easier to play with real people to get that stealth in yeah I have done playing by yourself you've just got the computer with you yeah so the plot of the game just for if you haven't played I mean and listeners if you it's really good it's a really good game it it surprised me I did not think I was going to enjoy this game because this was actually a game I was thinking about skipping and then I started seeing some gameplay of it and I went I want to play this yeah it's about drug cartels in Bolivia and you're a you know secret us you know

Ghost Recon [ __ ] military team there's four of you and you go in and help the the local militia uh or resistance or whatever they call themselves fight back against the drug cartels and you take out the various leaders of the drug cartels in various areas by completing missions in a very kind of uh it's very division E in a way like the it reminds me a lot of the division the way it's all laid out like you've got your your areas and you complete missions in them and then you move on to the next area and that kind of thing but it's like super open world like you just can you can kind go anywhere if you want to and and you'll die in some areas but and but there's like a million ways you can approach every Mission and you

can kind of just there's no set way for you to do pick what mission you go on there's you've got the head of the cartel and then you've got all of his sort of main men and then all the people who work all his lieutenants and all the people who work for him for them and you can just pick whichever one you want to go and try and take out at that time yeah you do a bunch of missions to to weaken them and and discover or discover where they are or whatever and then you kind of work your way up the tree yeah it's really cool I seriously could not stop playing it it's it took me I think about 35 hours to finish it so you've done it you've all the collec yet I still have to go back but I've got finished killed everyone including the Boss

El SW took him down but yeah it's cool cool game I like uh it's got good character Desy stuff and I know managed to make my character look cool and how bushy did you go with your beard I didn't I played as a lady so did I I set up a really cool character to see how like the really bushy beard I went that's awesome and it went and now I'm female yeah I was going to say you always play as a girl you talking about yeah always yeah and I I was goingon to say where you can be tactical you got a drone you can tag targets and you can tell your teammates to to take out the targets stealthily as long as you know the baddies don't see you you can kind of sneak in and and ideally

they don't even notice that you were there and I've done that a bunch of times but then there are other times where I'm just like you know what [ __ ] it and like steal a helicopter fly it over the base just parachute right into the middle and start shooting everybody grab the you know the the plans or whatever that I'm in there to get jump back into another helicopter and then take off I've done that before sometimes you need to do that yeah no I like to experience both both ways and you can be successful either way so it's good I think it's pretty balanced for that stuff and the I like it because I don't have to do the slow stealth the entire time yeah I can imagine you wouldn't like that cuz you like to get straight you want to get

through the game get your achievements and we move on to the next game that's how Luke rolls yeah yeah so I I recommend it Ghost Recon wildlands it surprised me I didn't think I was going to like it as much as I did I like it more than a Division I think it's surprising a lot of people yeah I I like uh I think the division stylistically uh appeals to me more because it's I found the story more interesting and the setting more interesting but well that's what I thought but I found Ghost Recon wildlands sucked me in way more than I expected and I I'm enjoying it yeah because I I don't [ __ ] care about drug cartels in Bolivia like I would never have thought that would interest me but it's pretty compelling and the game play is fun and like I said they've

tricked me into getting Collectibles which is a thing that I was like [ __ ] collectibles in games I'm not doing that anymore and they've tricked me into it only got a few more to get I'll have them all it reminds me of it's like when we say open world it's it's like kind of Witcher 3 or I guess Assassin's Creed the later ones are are like this as well or you can kind of go anywhere and do what you want but it's not like The Witcher 3 in the all the quests are unique and voice acted and I it it is way more repetitive than that so that's my only complaint is that it's as I get further into it I have done most of this stuff before just in a different location on the map you know what I mean y yeah and and that's not really a

complain either because it's still fun it's just that it's it's more repetitive than something like The Witcher where each Quest is is completely unique and voice acted and whatnot these aren't always still definitely worth picking up yeah absolutely can't play with this so I'm so glad I got it and I can't wait to play it with you join our multiple nerg gasm group on Xbox by the way everybody if you're on Xbox what's it it's called it's called multiple nasm the group it's multiple nasm yeah join the group I don't know what the groups are for yet do you know what are the groups for I mean I just know we have one and I I want people to join it what are they for um it's I don't no okay good I just

KN the second that know I no one knows the second they were in the beta and I could open I think it's a club oh yeah that's sorry yeah club club or a group it's a group group [ __ ] man all right something whatever it's the second I could get it and the second I could name it I got one and I named it multiple nasm so we had the name and then I need to learn how to use it okay but join it and that way we'll have people who can learn together yeah we can figure out what it's for cool Dan will join it one day n he probably won't yeah I've sent him a few invites and he just ignores them yeah well he's just he he only has his Xbox to play Skyrim and Fallout 4 so he doesn't need a group so you need

a group for to do that it is a club oh sorry club club speaking of Dan he's not here uh you've probably noticed his the lack of his voice because he's in Vietnam right now I don't mean he's like traveled back in time and he's you know he's in Apocalypse Now or anything like that although he did Express an interest in that so you know listeners if you have a time machine right right in podcast at multi nasm.com uh but also we've talked before you won't be allowed to wear your Google Glass or your Snapchat glasses into Dan's house soon you won't be able to wear a jacket into Dan's house because they're making explain well they've made it's I guess

they're calling it a smart jacket and uh it's like you I don't think I'll be getting one wrist buzzers the little uh jacket wrist buzzers when your phone rings uh apparently you can tell so it's like my phone vibrates but now my button vibrates jacket vibrates it can tell how many glasses of water you've drunk although I suppose it doesn't really know if it's water it just knows how many things you've drunk maybe that' be useful for you but then again maybe you don't want to know I don't I don't need I don't count my drinks I don't need no dra jacket counting my drinks yeah I know what I've had enough yeah even though your doctor would probably recommend you use

this so you can track your for me so yeah pretty soon you won't be able to wear a jacket in dance house because he hates this [ __ ] as well I'm still figing that get those Snapchat classes why why I don't know I don't understand the point of them I don't know I barely use Snapchat it's you still have to you still have to use Snapchat to use them I know a don't get it there 130 bucks seems like a waste of money a big waste of money available in us only so I'd have to get them sent to you and then you'd have to send them to me well I refuse oh no I will if you want them you want do it then y just send them here I'll send think about it maybe I don't know they look

a week early so I've been playing that that's pretty cool I haven't set down to really get into it though because I don't want to get really into it and then have to stop yeah and then wait for it to come out out this playing a little bit comes out this week yeah it comes out on Thursday yeah 23rd and um oh boy normally with a mass game I spend a lot of time working my character oh yeah making getting them looking just right yeah and then they look like [ __ ] when they I just gave up just gave up why the character creation in this one it's not that good Oh I thought you were going to say it's too much like you can choose too much but you just didn't like it no I just felt the face just feels wrong

somehow and okay if you actually look people actually have screenshots and video like comparing Mass Effect and drut with Mass Effect one yeah and Mass Effect one looks better which is not saying much because Mass Effect one I'm I the with the original the whole original trilogy I ended up just choosing whatever the default was because no matter how long you spend in there like I always found when I got into the game whatever character I made from the front looked really cool and then once they got into the game they started talking they look like a freak hideous freak you'd have some slider at the wrong point and look fine head on but just yeah yeah and they end up looking like Terrence and Philip like their heads flipping backwards or something like what what how did I do

that so I don't know is this the same or everyone looks very shiny from what I've seen in the in the the everyone looks very shiny but the sort of to people heads don't move what like to me it looked like everyone's had a lot of Botox right and so there's like and their eyes are just so dead I've seen I know people are really uh like they're unhappy about it and there's been a lot of backlash on Twitter and whatnot people yelling at BioWare in particular apparently they were harassing some uh someone who was the lead a lead animator or something and then B had to come out and say that person is not and was not the lead animator like leave him alone so I don't I don't know what's

going on people people are [ __ ] idiots on the internet like it's a video game relax people are the worst on the internet yeah it's I mean maybe it does look silly I'm still enjoying it so far and I'm going to get past the oh yeah the look but like I haven't even got up to the exploration or anything yet yeah I want to I mean yeah I can get past all that [ __ ] if the game is good like cuz I did with the the original Three I got like way past that cu the game was so good so I mean it looks cool it it's got a lot more uh comedy in it from what I've seen they played a little side mission and it it had uh more of a light tone than M Effect one two and three did which is cool and the Galaxy map because it is its own game right why are you

disgusted by that the Galaxy map yeah cuz it's just so big and and and like enticing and I'm I can just I look at that and I'm like I see all the hours that I'm G to waste away exploring it yeah so this you start off you left the Galaxy in 200 185 I forget when the Mass Effect Trilogy set but then 600 years later you arrive in the andrometer system right okay and then everyone wakes up and away they go and I am female in this one as well of course I haven't met my brother yet oh yeah cuz this is different cuz they're not doing the same thing that Mass Effect where you can be male ship or F ship it's yeah you're one of thewi whether you want to be male or female and then your siblings still out

there doing stuff yeah I saw they asked in the in the panel if uh if the way you make your character look affects the way the looks and then uh also affects the way your like parents look apparently which is interesting well but from what I saw because I created my character and then I could also make my twin look like whatever they wanted to look like oh okay maybe it's maybe I'm getting confused then maybe it's you you like what you make the two of you look like affects what your parents look like or something like that maybe sounded interesting but I don't know what the default I don't know what my father's default looked like so okay does he look like you because your

dad's in it you're right h no no he doesn't really look like me all right then but I'm female so he might take after my brother so all of the side characters right you know you've got your companions and stuff I don't know if you've gotten far enough in it to know this but are they just are they with you at the start or not cuz I feel if you Trav all the way to Andromeda and you're like exploring you're not going to find people out there the way you did in the others you know well that's the thing this one you everyone was sent across in arcs and so I arrived in one Arc and now I have to go find the other arcs and so that's how I'll pick up people along the way and I'm sure I'll find an alien species I'll

have sex with at some point you'll find what you'll find what an alien spe an alien species I'll have sex with oh sorry it dropped out and I was like I got to know and it was worth it it was worth wait yes yeah yeah I'm going to play a little bit I'm just playing like an hour or two each day but then from Thursday when it comes out that's all I ever get to play of anything straight into it so that's how I'm going to play that's how I'm going to play it when it's out yeah but I'm an achievement Hall I have a problem yeah you do I'm gonna be 400,000 by July wow I've actually my goal I know you you mentioned you went through my achievements before but and I have

gotten quite a few lately because I've been playing uh I played through Dishonored I haven't quite finished it yet but man [ __ ] that game's good um and I got a bunch for Ghost Recon and I got a bunch for something else recently as well okay I can't check at the moment because the site I used to check is down okay uh I saw a movie last night oh what did she see it's not a movie you probably expected I would go and see uh but I went and saw Beauty and the Beast just G to let that sink in um just G to end the call now now come on so this is the live action or did you go see the cartoon no it's live action it's uh it's the new one it's got Emma Watson and uh that guy from from Dracula Untold he's actually from other things

but I can't remember what they are uh and uh it's pretty good I got to say I I enjoyed it is there singing It's yeah it's uh you've seen the the animated one yeah yes it's it's the same it's exactly the same uh it's just a kind of it's a re I guess a remake um but with real people like live action uh and it's got couple of extra songs and gu st's kind of a bit more of a dick in this well he's a lot more of a dick in that he's actually like kind of murderous in this uh and and some other things like it's it's a little bit darker I guess uh but it's really cool I I I really enjoyed it I not as much as the man sitting next to me who who cried uh which kind of enhanced my

enjoyment a little bit so yeah do you think it's a movie worth crying over no I don't know about that I wouldn't say that but I I really enjoyed it especially I mean you know it's it's the same as the other one like so if you enjoyed the other one which I mean I watched it when I was a kid so this was kind of nostalgic and it's good story you know it's it's all very kind of wholesome and and you know in the end oh it's got It's actually got a couple EXT can you take your kids to it so a kids movie then oh yeah definitely yeah I would uh I mean yeah it's a little scary in pot that bad I would have loved I would have loved it when I was a kid I

would [ __ ] loved it when I was a kid guaranteed because it is a little it's a little dark but it's still Disney you know special effects good the camera [ __ ] moves around a bit too much in Parts but I recommend it and I know listeners none of you are probably going to go see it so but this is I say to you if you enjoyed the other one go see it might give you a bit of bit of nostalgia I liked it not as much as the guy next to me though you sure that wasn't you no I'm sure because it was uh there's several there's a bunch of bits but you know I mean this isn't I mean spoilers for Beauty and the Beast uh you know when um the famous Beauty and the Beast song the the song the the the titular song No

from the movie sing it for me tail is Old As Time that one no you have to sing more sorry unfortunately I've completely blanked on the rest of the lyrics but during that scene where they have the the ballroom dance I noticed this guy next to me was wiping his eyes and then uh it just warmed my heart it's [ __ ] so silly yeah I don't know this it doesn't come out in Australia till um this later this week but I think I might pass on this one oh all right fine I I actually I I almost passed on it as well it was like uh I was almost like you know what I'll stay

home but then I went and I'm glad I did I liked it it's good finding out what H's up to since uh you know since the destruction of Hogwarts Hogwarts got shut down did Hogwarts get destroyed I don't remember I I don't know I I really I have no idea yeah after they after they killed Voldemort I was like I'm not interested anymore hate it you know I hate it when your team loses just kind of not not interested anymore yeah did you see uh they've announced you see they've announced when the new season of Game of Thrones will start uh I've stopped watching that cuz people made me not enjoy it anymore didn't they sort of they sort of announced a date by melting a block of ice or something by [ __ ] around yeah they um [ __ ] I laugh

so much when I saw this so they uh they started a Facebook live thing where they had it was a big block of ice and they had a flamethrower right and this sounds cool and you can see that when they thought this up they were like [ __ ] yeah this is gonna be awesome so they had a block of ice and apparently inside the ice was like a sign with with the date on it and they had a flamethrower and if you went on the Facebook live thing and you typed fire in then the flamethrower would would shoot at the thing and so they had people doing that for about 10 minutes would just be constantly on wouldn't it yeah but it wasn't doing it the ice was just not like not playing along it was not melting in time and everyone was like okay this is this is taking a long time so and then all of a sudden people

had spent like 10 minutes doing this and then all a sudden it just went offline and then so people were getting annoyed cuz they like stop wasting my time and then like 15 minutes later it came back and there were two flamethrowers and then they continued for a bit and then they shut it down again and then they just came back up and said oh Game of Thrones comes out in [ __ ] April or whatever so yeah thanks for that is it April I you know I should probably get the facts right otherwise we'll end up with some more reviews it comes out um [ __ ] I don't even care uh when is it on oh it's not even on the article you posted no it's because that wasn't the point of the article I don't even care when Game of

Thrones comes out I just thought it was really funny that 100,000 people got suck it into typing fire into Facebook and then uh it all went horribly wrong I think it's coming out later in the year I think there's a few more months to go yet yeah yeah yeah it's definitely not like this week or anything come on might as well provide the fact uh July 16th July 16th 2017 there you go sorry for making you sit through that block of ice melting as we tried to figure that out just type fire into your phone or whatever you listen to this on yeah I can actually I can believe that they thought it was a great idea and it does sound like a sounds awesome yeah yeah I in the meeting they like we [ __ ] flamethrowers it's going to like melt the ice and they're like yeah that

sounds awesome yeah it didn't work didn't work not fast enough yeah cuz uh and I did I like the idea that someone had to rush out and buy another flamethrower like like [ __ ] get down to Bunning and pick up another flamethrower blocks of like big blocks of ice are actually they don't melt quickly no no I mean if I look outside and look at all the snow I can tell do you know happened the other week actually uh you you obviously you don't get a whole lot of snow there you get snow occasionally in CRA is that true uh very very occasionally yeah okay we um still waiting for it I've been here seven years oh okay so you you haven't personally had it no we've had a bunch of it lately uh and we were

apparently going to have a big blizzard last week uh which didn't really materialize it was it just kind of snowed a bit but then it turned to rain and I got to say that was the most [ __ ] annoying the next day because the it it makes the snow which you know Snow's kind of like fluffy and you can kind of just brush it off your car for example when it's been rained on it just turns into a big [ __ ] block of ice the ice yeah and so I literally had to excavate my car so I could go to work I like and and I've now purchased a fancy tool with which to do that now that the snow has stopped but I didn't have one at the time and so yeah man

that was a pain in the ass I can see why people here get annoyed by the snow I'm slowly coming around to that because for me it's been not this wonderful thing that you get to enjoy like when you and I were wandering around Boston like idiots yeah we came out of that sex shop and then just ran around the city yeah completely forgot to to go into looking at the snow the comic book shop that we actually had intended to go in before we went into the sex shop and I'm not going to elaborate on that yeah we went into a sex shop Noe they don't need to know any more than that they don't what Luke and I do when we're on holiday our little secret is between us that's all for this week thank you for listening and we hope to enjoyed the show if you enjoyed it then please
