welcome to multiple nerdgasm with your hosts Matt Luke and Dan multiple nerdgasm your guide to All Things nerdy you know something I miss what's that Trading Card bubble gum all right didn't expect that answer I was just I was thinking about today you don't get Trading Card bubble gum anymore it wasn't great gum but I loved it there's a certain smell and taste that accompanies those cards that really do just bring back great memories there is a place here you can you can get that actually and it that lead me into another little story I wanted to share with you guys but uh Luke you've been to this store I think the Toy Vault uh yes

I have it's in the the mall here near the carousel mhm adult store is it have you noticed that stores with the words toy in them are either for little kids or perverts that's true both perverted little kids well this is uh this is the Toy Vault and Luke you've been there before uh this is a place that actually I I'm I would love for you next time you hear Dan to come along to it's uh they've got basically action figures and toys and and things uh and it's got the biggest the largest number of Star Wars toys I've ever seen in my that sounds [ __ ] great uh old you know the old original ones and then all the way up to to the new ones it's just it's just a place for full of toys do they have the ones that came out with the special editions where

everyone is super buff yes yes awesome but they also have uh cards bubble gum collector card things like as in the originals and they all have big warnings on them saying don't eat the gum like that's but you can buy them in the pack in the original packaging so they've got ones from like alien and Star Wars and but it's that old they just like don't do it I wonder what the expiry is on that because I mean it's surely it doesn't contain any natural products no it's just just crap I'd chew it I'd chew it well next time you're over here you can uh you can purchase some I [ __ ] will honestly the taste of that just tasting that in my mouth I'm going to want to swap some Batman cards you know what I

mean sure yeah they have those the Batman the movie ones [ __ ] what but maybe that's actually what I am missing not so much the bubble gum but more so the excitement of opening the cards well you can get that easily just come visit me and we'll go there it's like it's like 10 minutes down the road we'll go yeah but wouldn't they be expensive I don't think so mate nothing here's expensive ah y it's the beauty of America so we went in the other day CU we were looking for some Dungeons and Dragons Miniatures and nerd the gentleman we said oh have you got any D andd manages a guy I was like no we don't however our other store exclusively sells d and d and card games and board games and stuff and we're like What so there's actually another one

it's actually even closer to my house there's two of these places two toy vaults the other one we didn't know about because it's around the back of the the supermarket so we went over there and uh yeah it's got It's got everything that you would want in uh in the way of games board games role playing games all that stuff it's fantastic do you get a feeling that Matt's being endorsed no it does seem that way I my brother is uh this is the point of the story is my brother is is coming to visit and he asked me uh if I had heard of the game secret Hitler ah yes I have a copy of that right here right in a nice wooden box he asked me because he it's hard to get hold of apparently and he said some some people some friends of his were

interested in playing it because it sounds very funny and uh he said oh if you can find a copy of it uh over there cuz it's more likely to be available here than in Australia uh that would be awesome so while we're in there I was like oh this place is a lot of board game so I went up to the counter and and there's a bunch of people in there playing Magic the Gathering and some other games and stuff so I went to the counter and I said he I can help you I said yeah I'm just wondering if you have um you have the game and I thought I'll keep my voice down cuz you know never how these things are going to go over I said if you got the game secret Hitler and he goes and I I guess because of my accent he goes what is it and I

said secret Hitler and he goes secret what I'm Hitler Hitler he goes hit hit what I me hit Hitler Hitler and then someone behind us goes the guy with the mustache and then Jenna who was with me says Hitler the like apparently the a that I put at the end of the word Hitler was uh was not recognizable as the German dictator right oh Hitler Hitler no they don't know who [ __ ] Hitler is Hitler Hitler Hitler yes Hitler Hitler Hitler Hitler so yeah no I actually have a copy of that guess where I got it from Germany Kickstarter yeah no surprises there look I'll admit

secret Hitler does sound very fun yeah I don't know I haven't played it yet I love the design of it so retro yeah well they didn't have it and uh and he said he thinks you can only get it directly from them and you're no longer allowed back in that store yeah Matt next time you're in there oh do you know the bat from The Walking Dead I think it's called Lucille or something no what the what from The Walking Dead the baseball bat oh oh the baseball bat I thought animated bat yeah like man bat from Batman or something there's or Batman Batman it's in it's in the season that we haven't

seen I know I know what you mean that could be that could be in any of the seasons past two episodes into season three the one that jail the one that spoiler gets his head smashed in with yes right um can you see if you can buy one a baseball bat mate just get him any bat and say it's that bat one like Lucille right okay and that's all I have for you and then let me know cuz someone wants one to buy for someone and then yeah I'm pretty sure that uh the the main the The Toy Vault in the mall would have something like that if so Matt I've just looked this up on uh on Google and it's literally just a wooden bat with some barbed wire uh stuck around it so this retails for let me see here $36.50 right oh okay so I'm thinking how much does just a a [ __ ] wooden bat

cost it may shock you but I actually don't know yeah I have no idea but it's got to be less than $35 right you would think so yeah so I and how much does it cost to just [ __ ] snip some barbed wire from some Farmer's fence because I really don't think you need to pay $35 for this replica of Lucille I think 35 Buck is quite reasonable it's 35 American luk so that's like $100 other people's money Y and often with the with cosplay the the the uh the the trick is just to be a bit Frugal so I'm I'm wondering if it even needs to be a bat we could just use like a broom handle or something it's not for cosplay it's for a Pres for subone it's for bashing someone's face in yeah this this would be good for that this would be good to bash someone's face as a like

definitely want it right I've gone back and and I'm watching through the James Bond movies from the first all the way through right wow yeah so from Dr no uh which is a by the way Dr No is great it they kind of taper off a bit and they get a bit silly uh they're definitely better when he's just [ __ ] out doing spy [ __ ] and not [ __ ] flying a jetpack and running across crocodiles but I like the silly [ __ ] but I must say uh George lasenby is a [ __ ] excellent Bond I like that movie A lot it cops a lot it gets a lot of [ __ ] but I like that movie it's not just a good Bond movie on a Majesty Secret Service is a good movie yeah I think so you know

it's shot like a European art film and it's got a [ __ ] Aussie guy playing Bond barely barely disguising his Aussie accent and we've discussed this before you know the only reason he's only in one is because he they told him he's got to maintain the look and the he was like [ __ ] way and he turned up at the premere with [ __ ] long hair and a beard and they were like you fired yeah and they were really confused too they started saying I've watched that interview they're like oh you James Bond has a beard in this movie does he and he's like no you see I'm I'm an actor who plays James Bond in the movies but not in real life [ __ ] that's why you don't hire an Australian yeah they will not play along um you guys have got to watch a documentary

drama called becoming Bond which is the story of George Len be and it stars [ __ ] what's his name disappointed you didn't call it a docu drama oh yeah docu drama we can edit that in that that that was terrible drama what's uh hold on can't remember his name trun connory no sh sh manbat shush okay um it stars Josh Lawson as George Len be and it's great Lawson yeah you know from like Whose Line Is It Anyway what you know the Australian uh comedian I don't actually I just Googled him and I you don't know who Josh Lawson is no I've just Googled him and I'm looking at a picture of him never seen him before in my life really

yeah going to make sure you're looking at the right guy oh yeah I know here every ad in Australia there I've posted something sort of made it but didn't quite get anywhere I think he's more famous overseas than he is in Australia clicking on it I don't know man I sky is not looking familiar fair enough okay anyway uh the reason I wanted to talk about this is not because I just wanted to have a bit of a George Len Be Love Fest although that would be good too um I just wanted to say I don't know how long it's been since you guys have watched the old connory bonds right and it been a while for me and of you know times have changed and some of the attitudes in the old bonds are a bit uh you know they're a bit questionable now

um and I knew that going in but I was I was not prepared for all the rapes I had to watch and and and I say that because there's no other word to describe James Bond's behavior in some of these early films other than oh I'm actually thinking about it now where the woman pulls away and he just yep there's there holds her there yep yep that's right and she starts saying no no it's turning her face so he can't even kiss her and he grabs her by the by the chin and forces it several times several times he's not a womanizer right he's not like some charming bloku [ __ ] everyone he's a rapist and it's really difficult to watch now he I I said that in uh was it is it Spectre which is the one with Monica

Belushi in it oh yeah I think it's Spectre and cuz that scene too was a bit rapy Yeah it a bit rapy right yeah and and that's one of the modern ones I was surprised I mean I've got this kind of thing in my head that Monica Monica beluchi probably always wants it you know what I mean like I've just got that kind of I don't know where that came from but like so I think I forgave it while I was watching cuz my you know my brain was like yeah she probably wants it but uh you're right man you're right very rapy Sean C is the one that says it's okay to hit women isn't it yes as long as there an in hand yes and as long as she deserves it he actually says that yes absolutely yeah he said that in an interview oh Sean connory said that I thought you meant the bond said that

Sean connory said that well Sean connory is Bond hold on hold on sry that doesn't really answer my question Luke yeah look I I think there's a there's an audio there's an audio clip from it and and I think I'll paste it in and we can uh I think maybe we need to edit it into the podcast you did an interview in which you said it's not the worst thing to slap a woman now and then as I remember you said you don't do it with a clenched fist it's better to do it with an open hand yeah remember that yeah yeah I didn't love that I haven't changed my opinion you haven't no not at all you think it's good to slap a woman no I don't think it's good I you don't think it's bad I don't think it's that bad I think that it depends entirely on

the circumstances and if it merits it yeah what would Merit it well if you have tried everything else and women are pretty good at this that they can't leave it alone they don't they want to have the the last word and you give them the last last word but they're not happy with the last word they want to say it again and and get into a really provocative situation then I think it's absolutely right what would and that was it so evidence thank you connory wow well we could now stick on the bond Thing theme right now am I reading this right they're looking to

make James Bond into a Marvel St shed Universe thing correct that is the latest how I don't know I can only think that there maybe there's going to be a Mis money Penny movie or a q movie QV what why who's asking for this well any Studio that doesn't have a property like Marvel basically that they can just continually cash in on the Marvel works because it's already is this big universe James Bond's just James Bond we could end up with like a Jaws spin-off oh like The Adventures of jaws now you're talking or odd job I'd watch an odd job movie there wouldn't be a lot of dialogue in it cuz he doesn't talk but

uh I'd like to see a spin-off movie uh with knickknack the dwarf from The Man with a golden gun uh I'd watch his spin-off movie yeah like in a [ __ ] heartbeat you know what I mean octopussy yeah was that actually a character's name I just it's just the funniest name for a movie you know what I haven't gotten back up to there yet so I'll let you know I think it was octopusy can't remember can't believe they've named a [ __ ] movie octopussy yeah and no one no one was like that's a bad idea well here's the thing like in in in Austin Powers right there's a there's a girl with the the name a lot of vagina right and everyone's like that's making fun of the fact that the girls in the old Bor movies had silly names yeah right but in

the old Bor movie onor Blackman's character was called [ __ ] Galore like it's it's not that far of a stretch right no it's not even a pun no it's just not it's just her name's like vagina yeah that's right well it's not it's not even classy it's just using slang yeah Tits [Laughter] McGee that's my character in rock band is it now yes Tits McGee I do like James Bond apparently they convinced Daniel Craig to do another one which that's what I heard I so surprised Uris that well one that he's agreed to go back to it so they've just they must have just thrown money at him but one that they want him back after he's so he came out went [ __ ] no yeah yeah H there's a lot of things that

let spected down y his attitude was one of them but it wasn't the only thing I I'm sure we discussed this that scene with the uh with with the gloves yeah in the [ __ ] that's not Specta though right that's uh is it not Spectre no that's Skyfall right oh it could be it just baffles me that something like that can happen you have someone there saying you shouldn't be wearing gloves buddy uh it happens in a lot of movies yeah I suppose it's just it costs so much money to F oh sorry we're being vague now for uh for listeners who don't know but the the short version of it is apparently Daniel Craig showed up one day on set with a pair of fancy leather gloves that he bought and said oh this would be good for James Bond to wear uh wor them during at that point Sam

Mendy's didn't give a [ __ ] he's like do whatever you want mate yeah wor them during the shoot and then later on they realized well he wasn't wearing them 5 minutes ago in the movie no no no it's not only that the gag is he gets given a gun that only he can fire because his fingerprints enable the trigger yeah that's right it's even worse and so they had to CG out the gloves and give him hands and so if you watch that scene it's the scene with the kimono dragons yeah in um in one of them he's got these big giant hands they had to paint over the gloves puffy hands [Music] ridiculous so many bizarre news stories this week I don't know where to go from here [ __ ] pick one man spin the wheel well do you want to talk about uh do you

want to do Star Wars news cuz I always want to do Star Wars news no all right good good good good I'll do this St Star St just a short one there's been a bit more Goss about the uh the Han Solo director directors rather being fired so it is now official that they were fired apparently so yeah apparently allegedly I don't want to get you know sued for liable or anything they were trying to make it too funny yeah well what did they think when they hired them Well here here's the quote question uh Kathleen Kennedy believed Lord and Miller were hired to add a comical touch Lord and Miller believed they were hired to make a comedy so you were right Luke because you actually picked this both Mt and I poo pooed your comment and said it

was probably that they were making it too dark not the case apparently they were just making it a [ __ ] balls Toth the Wall Comedy uh letting the actors just [ __ ] make up jokes on the set and rewrite parts of the script based on what they came up with it was all yeah apparently it was all improvisational and then they movie somehow somewhere it says that his performance the what's the actor playing Han they likened it to Ace Ventura yeah oh like the [ __ ] I know like of course they fired them yeah well bizarre uh they they did a rough cut so there's there was a first cut of this uh Kathy Kennedy uh and the executives watched it

uh [ __ ] hated it most just because it was uh who is the actor that plays him I don't even know his name oh um Roland something or his name is God it's alen Aron Reich there you Goen arich uh it was just him just doing [ __ ] wacky [ __ ] and uh so first they uh they hired an acting coach to come in and show him how to do it uh and then demanded re-shoot that apparently the two directors refused to do because they didn't want to uh compromise their own Vision how [ __ ] embarrassing would it be to be cast as Han Solo and then to have this articles everywhere talking about how the film's a disaster because

you can't act yeah yeah yeah yeah I mean especially since when uh we constantly talk about Donald Glover and how oh yeah you know how great we feel he is for the role yeah you know so he's coping zero Flack you know that's I've heard no nothing bad said about him and I think he would have been great for um like improvisation on the set and stuff yeah apparently apparently not so and then yeah but yep I was right again so we should just always listen to me so now they've brought uh brought Ron Howard in and he's going to he's going to steer the ship in the right direction he's going take the jokes out re

re-shoot the whole [ __ ] movie from the sounds of it yeah I'm sort of happy if it was going like Ace fure because I was never a fan of that to begin with well it also not only that but they it changed the the plot like they were just improvising the plot which is [ __ ] bizarre yeah it specifically said that stuff that they just come up with on the Fly they changed the whole direction of the story for and Lawrence casan was like no no no no no no no stick with what I wrote guys as in the implication is and like they're not being specific but the implication is that they they making improvisational changes to the Star Wars Universe like they're changing things and you can't do that no no they I mean you think you'd know that going in I

don't know it seems it's it's all a bit strange really why would they think that was that cool well I mean maybe it just goes to the fact that you know these are these are two comedy directors yeah that only do wacky comedies and they've been hired to do this thing they you can kind of forgive them for thinking that they were hired to do their thing you know actually that's a very good point that's a good point because yeah as I said like last time like they did like The Lego Movie and Jump Street and stuff and they did a great TV show called last man on Earth which is uh wor watch if you haven't seen it so I think there may have just been a bit of miscommunication there when they were hired I thought you said when they were high for a moment

there well that could also be the case I don't know what they do in their spare time oh and now we'll never know I'm pretty sure they'll work again I know we we we should get them on the podcast and hear their side of the story I'm sure they I'm sure they'd be I'm sure they'd be willing to come on this show well you know maybe no one else cares what they have to say maybe we're the only ones asking for their side of it I think it's worth a try all right we'll reach out to him no just let them know they have to work around our schedule so they'll need to wake up very early in the morning yeah if Matt has to wake up they can wake up well they're probably in La does that mean they're earlier or later than you mat earlier even earlier oh okay fine if they want

and two as well okay well they must this is one of The Originals they must have used it in some shots in one and two and they just abandoned that for three and and eight but uh yeah that one of the original ones is sold for uh just over $2 million look I can understand it would be a pretty cool thing to own but it's not worth $2 million well here's the thing toys from around that era are worth shitloads of money you know let alone an actual prop from the actual film and there's people out there that have enough money that they're just not going to notice that missing yeah that's true and if you're one of those people and you [ __ ] love Star Wars oh this isn't actually this isn't actually like the R2D2 unit this is bits and pieces that they cobbled

together right because there were a bunch of one yeah yeah yeah so cuz there were a bunch of different ones that they used but this is a complete unit that's assembled from from bits like it's all from the movie they just managed to get one complete from all the bits and pieces of them which I'm start to think that this guy got ripped off now it's not like the R2D2 the reason why it was in all movies is cuz the legs came from one movie The Dome came from one movie like maybe that makes it better oh I gotcha yeah I the Dome Came From A New Hope the two legs were used in Empire and one was created for episode one gotcha like it's just bits and pieces well assembled into a complete R2 unit you got ripped off wonder if they had to pop a restraining bolt on it to

stop it running off I wonder if they tried to buy another one and it exploded just before they got to take it home so they just swapped for that one at the last minute probably yeah probably and then he went off to tshi station to pick up some power converters wink oh so I actually got um mail this week that was quite confusing oh okay like what was the last time you got something like a letter delivered that wasn't a bill well I actually got um something from Rooster Teeth all right Rooster Teeth wrote you a letter yes just to let me know that Roost te RTX is happening in Australia next year and tickets G sale this week oh all right wa you wrote to you to tell you that physical letter yes that's weird and a

in America you there last year I love it how in America they don't bother coming up with actual names for their special days they just they just name the it's Independence Day it's indep four of July Cinco de Mayo just say the goddamn date happy 25th of December everybody compared to Australia uh just because of I guess because of the the attitudes of people in the countries in general I'm surprised by how secular the holidays are here in America compared to Australia like in Australia we have Easter off like we have Easter holidays we have Christmas holidays we have we have a lot of religious holidays whereas here in America none of the holidays are religious even if they're around the time of a religious event the the

holiday is something else like Memorial Day like it's not [ __ ] Easter it's something else oh that's interesting except for Christmas Christmas is a we get Christmas yeah we don't get we don't get boxing day or anything you just get one day off at Christmas well that's the same here too because you get uh every religion gets two public holidays a year right and that's how they well here no separated and then someone I was talking to someone about and they're like oh yeah because you know we separate church and state I'm like yeah but you don't really in fact you don't even as much as Australia separates that ship way more except just not in the holidays for some reason it's true but it is the 4th of July this week's Independence Day uh and as such tuu is having a big sale so if

ridiculous yeah they're excellent Johnny Depp sticks out like a sore thumb I've I've been on it once without Johnny Depp I went on it once before they put him in there wow and uh I don't don't remember when but yeah but I guess kids now would go where's Johnny D if he wasn't there but uh they're making another alteration to it uh yes they're removing the Wench auction now there is some stuff on this ride that is a little little weird it was not weird it's just it's a product of its time yeah and a lot of that going on at Disneyland yeah yeah you're right spash Mountain mate some of the stuff in spash mountain is [ __ ] ridiculous so if anyone's not been to Disneyland the pirates of the cariban ride is very impressive it's it's less of a ride and

more of an immersive boating experience yeah it's a little bit like uh it's kind of a little tiny Flume ride there's a little bit where you you know you slide down but it's not really an exciting adrenaline pumping Adventure no more of an experience you're you're in a little boat and you're going through diaramas which is I I guess what all of Disneyland was once like and what part of it still is now but but only the old stuff uh and you go past little scenes I mean including one where you end up out on what seems like the open ocean watching a [ __ ] Cannon battle between ship it's [ __ ] magnificent but there's a there's a lot of small little scenes too including one where you just casually pass uh an auction take a wench

for a bride the sign said M and it's women being sold into domes slavery yeah well I guess people may have complained about it or whether they've just kind of gone you know what maybe we should change that on their own volition yeah uh because I mean because they're tied up the women are tied up it's not uh yeah they are it's not like one of those fun options for charity it's they're literally just selling these women yeah they are enslaved mhm yeah uh and so they're changing it they're changing it to I wonder what they're I'll tell you what and there's a there's a conceptual art here on the on the article uh they're keeping the set exactly the way it is they're keeping the auction uh they're just taking the woman away and making it

about Pirates is have you have you been to Florida Disney no you got yes uh I went with you oh that's true Did did we go on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride in Florida yes yeah okay uh so you you would be did we go on the one in California yes okay so you you'd be aware of the difference then nope okay the one in Florida is I was very very very hung over in La okay the the the Pirates of the Caribbean ride in Florida is uh maybe a quarter of the length uh maybe maybe not quite but it is it is considerably shorter than the one in in California and uh I think it's actually quite disappointing it's one of the few things that is not Superior at the Florida Disney I find that kind kind of ironic because Florida is in the Caribbean and

Anaheim is not yeah now the one in La is is a lot longer it's got more to it it also and the one in La also has that restaurant in the in the at the start of it that I don't think Florida has as well where there's a section at the start of it where you just kind of float through the bio biou right you know and uh out yeah the very first section before yeah and they don't have that yeah I don't think Florida has that and also Florida does not have the Indiana Jones ride which is a great ride but I guess if you're in Florida you wouldn't bother going on a on a ride where you float down the bayou because you can literally I assume just do that at any time yeah you just float off and do it yeah good point while we're talking about Johnny Deb right

yes you know how we I mean listeners will know we we quite often lament the career of Johnny Depp on this podcast um you know his early films as being great achievements in acting and his later films just being funny voices and opening his eyes really wide right yeah so yesterday I went back and I rewatched one of my favorite movies about old Hollywood which is Edwood directed by Tim Burton starring Johnny de it's a very specific genre oh no I love that genre movies about old Hollywood it's one of my favorite movies about old Hollywood yeah no I've got a p um and it and it's it holds up uh in almost every way to how I remember it's it's I haven't seen it since I was a teenager it's still a magnificent movie uh you should watch that again it's a

good movie but I don't know what I was [ __ ] smoking back then that made me think Johnny Depp gave a good performance in it because he did not he is awful in a great movie he is just a silly anding his wi and everyone else is giving some cases Academy award-winning performances in the case of Martin landow as Bella legosi oh you know and and just so I think I think we've been looking at Johnny Depp's early career with rose-colored glasses because going back to this movie which is early 90s he's already awful what is what did he do before that then I can go back I mean nightmare in

Elm Street he's he's good in but yeah sure uh it's a very straightforward role though look Edward Scissor Hands uh is is also for what I remember a great film but I mean I'm almost don't want to watch it again now because I mean it is Donny Depp [ __ ] opening his eyes really wide and just he doesn't do a funny voice cuz he doesn't talk but yeah maybe he does he just don't remember it yeah who knows well either way I'm scared he definitely in uh in Sleepy Hollow he's definitely got that goofy yeah and com come to think of it around that same time he did uh Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas which used to be one of my favorite films but come to think about it he's just wearing a silly hat while doing a funny voice he's got glasses on so you can't see his wide open eyes

but but he's got that little cigarette holder in his mouth Yes what do you think was the movie that just pushed him over the edge well looking back I think he was never that good is what I'm saying m what else what was he in before H like I know you said he was like good in Nightmare and Elm Street I don't think he was good in that that yeah I'm not sure we can say I saw that recently that's not a good movie whoa who who no it's a great movie The acting in that movie is terrible I I don't understand what you're saying I don't understand the words you're saying to me yeah look we're not going to win Matt onto our side uh with with that example but let let me look down his IMDb page and and let's see what some of his other early films were I mean one that I remember

was like oh [ __ ] so I opened up the app because I'm like I'm going to buy some games right now Microsoft and then no you you put a big barrier in my way cuz it's yeah you have to keep an eye on that cuz even during the week like they'll have the they'll have their XBox sale but then a publisher might have a sale yeah and unless you go to the store Page and see it there on the Xbox One you won't know about it ridiculous they I mean I I just just seems like common sense to me that they would want people to to be able to do that in the in the app was that your question or no my question was so the S is on this wasn't really even a question so uh uh there are a bunch of games that I'm interested in in the sale and I

wanted to ask if I was going to get a good driving game for the Xbox one right I'm looking at for example this I've got one of those Real Drive I want to drive it faster and more dangerously than I can in real life there there's uh there's like project cars is on there there's the club is on there on sale H and there's also Forza six with all the DLC is on there quite cheap which which which game uh even if I didn't mention one feel free to to to jump in okay the club just get that out of your head right now okay um now do you want a little arcadey or do you want like an actual driving simulator I think maybe a bit arcadey okay is Forza 3 Horizon there or

Forza 2 Horizon I think it might be yeah yep that one you would want over Forza six okay that one's just a little bit more over the top you drive through fields and stuff like that whereas Forza 6 which I've been playing for hours today is yeah very it's not in depth or anything it's just I think it becomes boring a lot faster all right that's more of a straight driving simulator like racing yeah all right but with the with the Horizon you're sort of it's a bit of a festival feel cuz you are at a festival and you sort of you do showcase events like racing a train or racing a boat and things like this oh really all rights a little bit more fun all right all right sounds good I'll check out I think there's actually a pack that includes the two if I recall so maybe uh

I'll check let me see I've got actually got notes here oh yeah there's one you can there's a pack where it's got Forza 5 and Forza Horizon 2 in one pack so maybe I'll get that yeah maybe we should get that that way get Best of Both Worlds all right very good and I also picked up I picked up the two Wolfenstein games on that oh you didn't like him I thought you enjoyed that game No I gave it up you playing that when we lived together yeah I uh I I bought it I bought it real quick too I was I was real Keen giving that a go but it's just so un rails man really that's a shame I I I remember thinking you liked it when I wasted I've got them but I need to play them still I need to finish the new one I picked up a lot of stuff on the Windows side of it I brought all The

Walking Dead games and the Wolf Among Us again so I will have played them all three times once I finish them again I don't know have we talked about this I tried to play The Wolf Among Us again I just can't do I just I just don't like it I don't know why yeah no I think the way you were you were cuz you've played it before no no no I played five minutes of it and didn't like it and then I thought you know what I'm not being fair 5 minutes isn't enough this time I played through maybe half an hour of it and I just I just don't want to play it it's not I think it's the mindset going in with those Telltale Games you're not playing a game you're it's an interactive story yeah so you need to there are like quick time events in it but it's more of a story

you know what I don't like that it forces you to it's got a timer on every option that's one thing I don't like about it like every every choice has a timer for Ops and not all the time a so far they have it's always got a little timer that that's running down further in you'll find some won't but the timer is more so to for the story like just a snap decision yeah I know but then yeah exactly and then but then it's like oh he's going to remember you said that and it's like oh for [ __ ] sake just think of a Choose Your Own Adventure book yeah that makes me stressed with no going backwards yeah just keep on trucking yeah I just don't think they're for me I like them and I'm going to continue to play them yeah no

fair enough clearly a lot of people do like him you liked it didn't you Dan loved it but I never finished it so got to go back and uh play through again when I get a chance really hoping they make a sequel to it well apparently the I've read a review of the new Guardians one and and oh I'm loving it oh really okay they review said it wasn't that great but all right they don't know what they're talking about no I think the problem with they might have have review is the new the tell Guardians game it's not based off the movies no it's not no well see it's it's weird though because it's not based off the movies but it it is limiting limiting it to the characters that are in the movies so it's it's kind of a weird thing there yeah it's it's a bit weird I think

that's what may be screw messing with people's um with how they're seeing the game but no I think if you can get past it I think it's great yeah cuz they've said oh movies at all but they've also applied the same limitations that that were in the movie so I don't know weird oh and the steam sale is also one I've not purchased anything in the Steam Sale and I don't think I'm going to H I just brought three games I got no man's Sky I'm going to give it a try oh really interesting yeah all right I'm Keen to hear what you think of that yeah I'm pretty Keen too I've been wanting to get it for ages but I was holding off hoping they'd release it on the Xbox at some point but I don't think that's going to happen now I gave up not after the reception it received I feel sorry for those guys oh

I do as well it wasn't their fault well I mean yeah I know what you mean I I I get where you're coming from yeah I think a lot of people read a lot more into that game than it was and remember there was like five guys working on it yeah yeah people thought it was going to be more than it was and I think with more money a bigger team I think it could be and I think if they keep working on it it could be how much is it except for the one problem they've gone they're not going to do any paid DLC for it still I think if they were to come back in maybe six months and go he give us a bit more money and he have this I think it would be a completely different game it's just missing story from when it first came out but it might have it now well it's still

$23 which is quite a lot for a game that's apparent L not very good uh and I don't price yeah well that just means it shouldn't be that expensive I think cuz and then it's got mostly negative reviews yeah but a lot of those mostly negative were probably when it first came out evidently the the patch they released recently completely revamped the game okay oh it doesn't run on Mac so uh it's useless to me anyway I couldn't play it if I wanted to so I can H oh you know what I've been playing this week actually uh you do know because you can see in the spreadsheet I I finally caved I've held off on this because I wasn't sure what platform uh I should I should finally dive back into this on and after discussing I think

with you Luke over the E3 period and and after seeing scym on the switch at uh at E3 did you buy it on the switch no no of course not it's not out yet I've I became convinced that I don't want it on the switch so you're playing on Xbox I've I purchased the Skyrim enhanced Edition finally I I realized as well I don't even have that version of it I've only got uh I bought it when it first came out on PC and I don't even have a PC so uh not anymore anyway so I purchased the enhanced Edition on the Xbox one uh and I'm [ __ ] obsessed with it again yeah I was the same I loved playing through that again such a good game so many just it's so you just get so lost in that game yeah y like you just everywhere you go you'll find a little side quest but the side quests they

aren't all like boring fetch quests they're all there story with all of them yeah I even I feel like Sky better than Fallout 4 yeah I think it's better than Fallout 4 it is better than Fallout 4 hiding that possibly not better than Fallout 3 say sure okay oh the The Fallout 4 uh season pass is on sale as well I have that already I was considering it yeah no I know you guys you so should have got that before it went um before they up the price it it's 50% off so in theory I can get it at the old price I think yeah I I uh I'm going to take this opportunity of the Xbox sale to to grab some stuff that I was kind of thinking about and then just didn't because it wasn't new or I didn't need it desperately like I pick up the Bioshock collection now that it's half price oh

yeah I've got that oh play through though those games um cuz I I got that when it came out and I played through all three of those games again and playing even the third one playing that through a second time that game was so good actually the game playay wasn't the story was you know what it's funny when when H and I were first dating I was playing through BioShock 2 and uh and you know which was making conversations one day and she was like oh you know did you enjoy that game and I was like yeah man yeah it was great was great she was like oh what was your favorite part I'm like H you uh you played as a as a little girl at one point and it was very intense she was like s like what yeah yep sounds intense intense you in your games I've

got a little list here of i' got a little list here of games that I'm interested in the sale MH uh I've got I I purchased the jackbox packs all all of the ones that well two and three that I didn't have CU they're awesome jackbox games uh super hot is in the sale which is a game where time only moves as when you move son of a [ __ ] what that one's not released in Australia oh all right I'll be grabbing that and there's actually a patch is it uh like I think it's like $10 or 122 or something okay okay what are you calculating now well I can always just log on to my American account and get it oh all right cool uh and one of the other things I put on here I'm not sure about it is there's a a pack which is Far Cry 4 and Far Cry

Primal because I know you guys enjoyed Primal correct oh yeah I loved it that was great but then see I'm looking at this list and I'm like [ __ ] I could buy all these games I'm I'm never going to play them like I I've got a bunch of games I'm just playing Skyrim again yeah so yeah you just got to commit set yourself for an achievement goal and go for it that's how you do it yep speaking of which what's the stupidest achievement you got this week um what was it would have probably been it was in micro machines uhhuh God I was so looking forward to this game coming out you remember the old Micro Machines game like it was first one came out early '90s I remember it great top down you're

bracing little cars over like tables and Gardens and so this game was coming out I've been looking for it for ages came out it's online only so there's no like tournament like competitions where you just play against the computer every time you want a game you have to connect online wait till it f tries to find player and then you can race I was going to say didn't you look into that beforehand but then I remembered that I did the same thing with the Doom DLC I bought the Doom DLC and I was like all right and then where is it oh it's multiplayer only [ __ ] but I really wouldn't think that they would go an online multiplayer only thing for micro machines I spent uh quite a long time because you have to

start a game wait for I was having to wait for about 2 to 3 minutes for the game to search for that long to try and find another player not find another player then just let me race against the computer for 15 times so I could get race with every single vehicle in the game and get the Jack of all trades achievement all right that does sound like a waste of time but yeah I'm I was so looking forward to this game and it's just they crushed my heart my spirit oh who who made it who's the developer who's the um who's the worthless piece of [ __ ] that did this to you I know code Masters had the original but oh no it's still Cod Masters bastards bastards honestly if you brought a Micro Machines game would you think multiplayer

only no I wouldn't have thought to check no speaking of bastards before we go uh I've got some I got an update on on [ __ ] on Mars the [ __ ] on Mars uh is it happening I think I think maybe you need to be a bit careful because uh it's come out come to light this week that um that NASA May in fact be running a child sex slave Colony on Mars now NASA NASA has has commented has come out and said no this it's not true but they would say that wouldn't they yeah exactly so um this is uh this is a gentleman uh who was a guest on Alex Jones's Infowars which if you're not familiar with it is a ridiculous Conspiracy Theory show yeah if uh if if

you like to laugh you should uh you should listen to Alex Jones because he is an endless source of entertainment just not for the reasons he thinks so naso have come out and said there are no humans on Mars there are active Rovers on Mars there was a rumor going around last week that there weren't there are but there are definitely no humans uh however a guest Robert David Steel on the Alex Jones Show which is uh which is on radio station it's actually on the radio over here oh wow says we actually believe that there is a colony on Mars that is populated by children who were kidnapped and sent into space on a 20year ride so they're not kids anymore I'll stop you there also Mars isn't 20 years away or did they just go on a really slow

trip they got a bunch of 20-year olds they took the SC Crow so once they get to Mars they have no alternative but to be slaves to whom to the The Colony I don't even know where to start unpacking this [ __ ] that's why I love Alex Jones so much I know it's very funny this is actually my favorite part of this article this paragraph here in the 2016 campaign Jones Amplified the baseless pizzza gate conspiracy theory that Hillary Clinton's campaign was running a sex ring child sex ring under the basement of a DC pizza shop that had no basement yeah this theory was kicked off by a Reddit user who claimed that John podesta that's her campaign manager John podesta's hacked emails showed proof of a global so if you did a global search on his emails and replace the word pizza
