English yes all right show you're working and they just subtitled in what he says reasoning please go he's an alien they're all aliens and he's not actually speaking English he's actually speaking whatever his language is the only one who's not an alien is starlord I got to yeah but they're all speaking English except for Groot groot's not speaking English I'll stop you there none of them are speaking English they have translators implanted in them that's how it works in Guardians of the Galaxy they all speak different languages yeah oh moving on like the Babel Fish yeah they got they got little translators in there in their heads but then they figured that that would be a pain in the ass to to show all the time so they just it that's just how it is

that it just is yeah I I also do think it's cool that Vin Diesel actually does dubb it in all the different languages that is pretty fun wait Vin Diesel does all the dubs yeah he speaks every language well he's got to get the performance enough to say I am Groot he speaks I am Groot in every language right yeah okay sure sure I think it's ridiculous that they how much does Vin Diesel charge for a Guardians of the Galaxy film probably too much I don't think he's getting paid that much it looks like he's got a rate card how much does he charge for a Guardians of the Galaxy film like if we made one he could just some days worth of work yeah like if we just wanted him to say three words in a film of ours how much would that cost like if I wanted him to say geek of the week how much is

that four words mate it might have of weak yeah yeah is he charged by the word maybe no I'm trying to find out cuz it'd be cool if we can get him to say geek a week or I think it depends they just do the entire intro for us it depends on what there's more of if it's a if it's a drama he probably charges by the word if it's FAS and the Furious he charges by the explosion ah so we say fast and furious and so one explosion would be enough for that do you think well that means you can't say anything more than one word I don't know I haven't seen a fast and fury so there lots of explosions what are you saying are you saying that two words equal one explosion so you can get three words or you can get one word

called the path of totality why is that not the name of a band it's the name of a corn album oh God damn yeah but uh it probably is how good we used to think corn was yep they're not though they're not no they're they're good in we went and saw them uh last end of last year and they were good cuz they played all the songs that I used to like well okay okay so you weren't in the path of what what is it again totality and yet it was still pretty good view uh I saw a little I saw a little bit of it okay uh like it it where we were it got a bit darker and there was like a little little wedge out of it oh okay that's it's kind of disappointing actually' where was the path of totality uh it went through Oregon I know cuz my my boss who lives

in in California drove to where it was H he sent some amazing photos actually it got like actually got dark yeah right like it was you know night time in the middle of the day kind of and uh and then kind of through uh and up the middle of the US kind of I think I find it funny that North Carolina I me the Earth is so small compared to the Sun I'm surprised that being on one end or the other of the United States gives you a better a better look at it than other places I guess the moon you know the moon passes through you got to be in the path there's one in 2024 that's going to come right through New England uh in particular it's going to go through uh Burlington Vermont where we were a couple weeks ago so I'm I'm thinking might head back up there

for that cuz then then I will get a good proper look at it but the eclipse seems to confuse people a little bit like people don't seem to understand how the Sun works because there was a lot of and in the in the defense right there were a lot of warnings on TV and and everywhere people saying don't stare at the eclipse cuz you will damage your eyes ever look at the sun no no no but I look at time that's not what they said what they said was don't look at the eclipse you'll go blind and people were freaking out and and like like I don't want to go outside then like oh thinking that the eclipse is yeah is different to the sun normally like it's an eclipse is Magic basically and someone someone God I've heard people say that they didn't know what to do with their

pets like what if they leave the dog outside is the dog going to go blind and uh and you know what is it radiation from it a weird place man but yeah just don't look at the sun ever like it's you just shouldn't look at it yeah even if there's something in the way the the sun is still really bad for your eyes and it's actually quite difficult to look at it like you can glance at it but you got to really want to do it right that's right here's the other stupid thing do you know like after the eclipse happened uh the Google search rates for my eyes hurt because I looked at the sun increased like 8,000% yeah so even with all those warnings people still stared at it I'll admit I did I did look I Googled beforehand no I I looked on good cuz I

was like how how bad is this going to be cuz I am going to look at it like I'm going to glance at it like it's going to happen I can't not and uh I think you actually have to stare at it for a bit for there to be a problem so who the [ __ ] is doing that just staring at the sun really stupid people yeah well um everyone looks at the Sun I'll look I'll look at the sun tomorrow go on then go on scared we we need a little social media followup of that too Luke being blind yeah I mean I think our listeners need to need to witness exactly how you feel directly after staring at the sun I'll share it on Snapchat or Instagram or something do it but I'm going to do it CP 4le 4 at Snapchat I mean look the the president of the

also explain like how the Earth rotates it doesn't rotate around the earth it just it's up above us and just spins around and that's how you still have night and day that it just goes in a big circle do they think that's how nor like a normal science works you know what I mean by normal science like someone just sits down and goes well it's probably that yeah that'll do uh I think maybe the Earth is round so if it was how would that work okay fact like that's not yeah if you ever get into an argument with flat Earth I thing that they will always try to get you to explain to them is what is the measurable drop rate of the Earth or something what they want to know what the measurable curve is the curve of the earth it changes

yes well yeah that's the thing but they go well you can't that doesn't exist anywhere well no it doesn't because the Earth's not flat like your argument at the curve and the drop rats yeah just you can't win against them I've seen uh videos where they you know like there was that Red Bull guy who went up and he had a bunch of GoPro footage and they think it's a big conspiracy and then they had footage where they took his camera footage that had like the curve to it and they straightened it and they were like look yep like you [ __ ] straightened it like understand it confuses me how that's like evidence of anything all their science is about proving the other evidence wrong not about proving you is flat exactly look watch this I found this documentary called the Chamber of

Secrets Magic's real mat you bring up a valid point actually with your your Square Earth because if you do believe the Earth is flat there's no and you don't believe it's a sphere there's no reason to also believe it's even a Circle or a disc of any kind in fact if you're going off of evidence there's anecdotal evidence everywhere that the Earth is a rectangle because that's what Maps look like and why why would they make them square if they weren't Square yeah unless that's a conspiracy too now I uh I heard this week that Jerry Lewis had died mhm and I actually thought he had he had already died I had no idea he was still alive he must have been yeah cuz he stopped doing the whole Ms thing in France a while ago and I thought he just yeah the what went to a

Murphy could be and I've seen that I don't know if I've ever seen a Jerry Lewis movie ever yeah I I that's crazy because that was cuz back in the day you didn't really get a choice of what to watch on television that's true you just had to watch it you didn't get to choose want to watch you were forced to watch Jerry Lewis or uh Benny Hill I was forced to watch no never really saw Benny Hill really I liked Benny Hill actually think you guys might have had different dads that's what that's what I put this down to yeah my dad didn't make me watch Benny Hill or Jerry leis thankfully what did he make you watch trying to think what my dad used to force me to [Laughter] watch yeah so uh Jerry Lewis uh geek the

like I just don't say happy birthday to people on Facebook because it's it doesn't always tell me and so it looks like favoritism whereas you just don't care about any of them it's not that I don't care it's the I well I think fa you know what I'm not into I don't see the point in wishing someone happy birthday if you haven't spoken to thema I'm not into Facebook anyway so I just I I've stopped doing it like it'll pop up every now and then randomly say oh it's so and so's birthday and then I go in there and I'm like well it was like 10 people's birthday the last month you didn't tell me about I can't say happy birthday to this person cuz you know Facebook is sending me a lot of messages lately going hey you might learn to be friends with this person yeah I get

about two a day and I'm no no no I don't well it tells you you should be friends with people it doesn't tell me that yeah probably knows he knows you don't want to be friends with anyone man yeah he knows I don't want to be friends with anyone probably true I learned about a uh a diet this week oh yeah that uh that I I thought May that sounds pretty good but I don't know if my work will approve this was uh a diet that was invented uh by Catholic monks in 1624 oh it must be good yeah well you know that they they fast you know I learned about lent uh when I moved here because there's a lot of Catholic people here in Rhode Island oh yeah I learned about lent and uh and you know they swear off various things uh [ __ ]

then they they kept refining it and then at one point one of the monks said hang on a minute maybe this is too delicious and we're kind of breaking the rules so they we are enjoying this too much yeah exactly like we're drunk and it's delicious I think maybe this is against the spirit of the thing and so they sent a barrel of it to the pope right but it it had to travel from the Alps saying is this okay all the way to the pope right in the Sun and by the time it got there it was like [ __ ] [ __ ] up yeah and the pope was like oh my God go nuts you want drink this horse piss as you want he was like absolutely this is this is perfect this is the spirit of Lent incarnate exactly yeah yeah go now and so it continued for uh for hundreds of

years and and now you can buy it it's called Salvatore I think the the the particular beer it's still brewed named it after sounds Italian and Popes are Italian I know that yeah that's right yeah well these were Roman Catholic priests living in in the Alps so okay yeah so yeah but uh yeah I don't I don't know my work would approve if I just uh I was just drinking beer constantly so well it depends I mean I've I've seen you when you drink beer and you are merry uh you are enthusiastic um you have many things that are all Admiral qualities so I I think if your boss if your boss forbade it I mean it is it is a religious ritual right but see not always sometimes as evidence by uh what happened to my car

all right maybe you know that comic book adaptation of preacher now if you're if you're watching a violent comic book TV show about a preacher you you've got to you've got to kind of put you got to take off your blasphemy hat right you you can't be offended by the [ __ ] that happens in it so even yeah even when in the latest episode the episode opens with apparently a real dirty graphic sex scene involving Jesus Christ and a prostitute after which he goes off uh and gets himself crucified um then I then I don't what I don't really think you've got any right to be [ __ ] put out by this because you're already watching a show about a preacher who [ __ ] stalks the night killing right yeah I would imagine you yeah you

already started down that road yeah I mean look not everyone wants to see their God balls deep in a prostitute but I mean I would have been like all right yeah feel if you're already watching this you know you're probably not that Squamish and yet [ __ ] internet's gone crazy for this preacher has just lost a viewer oh okay so why you so you stopped watching well I've not started watching this but uh based on the fact that it has hardcore sex scenes involving Jesus Christ I might just give this a watch have you watched American Gods yet yeah yeah oh that's true I need to watch that they got uh they got a few jesuses they do I love that scene with all the Jesus jesuses it's Latin so to be jesi Mexican Jesus and the uh the Black Jesus

and the it's funny yeah because he's just whatever you want him to be yep he's whatever anyone has thought up at any point yeah God is good I got so sad when I realized it wasn't on anymore it was a short season yeah it was it was comp compared to Twin Peaks Twin because it was americ we watch American Gods and then we watch Twin Peak yes 20 something episodes look speaking of short seasons of things with hardcore sex scenes did did either of you guys watch sense8 no S8 S8 no is a show by yeah so the wki brothers are now the wki sisters they're both women now and uh and they've made this show called sense8 which is part really really good and part a

bit infuriating uh and a bit cheesy and over the top but I I still watched it and enjoyed it uh it's about these uh clusters of eight people around the world that have a a shared like a hive mind that can kind of inhabit each other bodies so that they can use each other's skills where necessary so it's a good premise you know it's interesting actually yeah yeah it's a dead set withi premise pretty cool oh so they stole it off some old black woman sorry that's an obscure Matrix reference no no I got you I got you buddy yeah no um but they canceled it this was on uh Netflix was a Netflix original two seasons and a movie uh Netflix are not renewing it they said the interest is just not there uh but a night in shining armor has come through

and uh porn website x hamster sure none of you have heard of x hamster x hamster x hamster have come out publicly and said we will produce season 3 of sense 8 if the witch askis are open to it h wow and are they they have to modify the content seriously or with we want to have [ __ ] in the background well they're they're serious here's what they said we're huge admirers of the show as are many of our fans obviously for both of us and the wkis this would be a big move and the logistics would need to be worked out this isn't just about switching a network this is about switching the way the show is delivered and how it is produced and what is produced does it open up possibilities for the storyline

an agent name isn't it yes and she was she was very darling um but yes I did uh I did things is what you [Laughter] mean but uh yeah I I did a few things at A Country Practice I did a film called the leaving of Liverpool oh uh I was in Liverpool England or Liverpool in the southwest suburbs of City it was leaving Liverpool England but it was filmed uh in Sydney and the ship that we left England that left Liverpool on was the faar if you recall fa which was a luxury luxury Cruise liner which I think is not accurate well uh fans of A Country Practice will know that the entire series uh happened in a town called won Valley um and most of it happened in a

that this year it might not be wonderful and you might just be pissed off with it like everyone else around you was well I am a little worried apparently this year this this winter is going to be particularly bad cuz last year was last year was quite mild we didn't like I mean we had a fair bit of snow but apparently not really um this year the predictions are that we're going to be buried in it so well I don't know if it cuz it was quite cold here this winter as well it's cold here this summer I don't know if that affects anything it's summer here now and it's cold so I think it ain't [ __ ] cold here the temperature doesn't change where you are does it no it does not no it does not let us know how cold it is where you are podcast multip nerdgasm

know people like most people I I assume know it's just for like it's like a reminder you know write in let us know and because we really do like if you contribute something you send something in we'll talk about it it all the time yeah yeah and the hearing from you yeah absolutely makes me feel a little warm inside podcast at multiple nasm.com can I read you guys an email that I got this week it's not from a listener this is from uh from somewhere else I had a problem with my players handbook which is the uh for those who don't know it's the the the main book that you need if you want to play Dungeons and Dragons I'm sure Luke's familiar with it okay a yep it's a book Luke doesn't read instructions no that's right he has someone read don't need them it just

someone tells you what to do when you play I bet is that is that accurate pretty much yeah first round doesn't count the play handbook is the book that if you're going to play as a as a character uh that's the book that you need and then there's there's other books that you can add on uh some of for the you know the dungeon master some of them for the players but this is the main one that you need to play Dungeons and Dragons and we bought the uh the fifth edition one which is the latest edition of D and D we got one of the first editions of that uh which apparently have rubbish binding and they fall apart and so I uh y Pages started falling out of it and uh and and to be fair it's from 2014 so it's it's three years ago so it did all right but also

this is this is a type of book that would get used a lot though look as books go that's not an old book no and so I uh I took a photo of it and cuz I had read online that that they had admitted there was a problem with them so I I took a photo of it and I emailed Wizards of the Coast who are the creators of Dungeons and Dragons well they they own Dungeons and Dragons Gary GX created it back in the day they sell you the book correct and uh and I got an email back uh asking for a photo of the copyright page which I sent in and then I got this email which I'll read to you now this is one of my favorite emails that I've ever received hail and well met Matthew of house ham we offer thanks to Ogar for your patience we've reviewed the runic

markings in your images and determined that they align with a specific binding glyph that's been deemed too unstable for our purposes it's safe to say you can expect continued unraveling as Arcane Powers rejoin the ambient Mana in the atmosphere not to worry I've gone ahead and set up a replacement order from our stock of properly warded and runebound toms it should be shipping out soon so be on the lookout over the next few weeks as the wards have already begun to fail I fear shipping might sever the corporeal bonds holding the bound magic entirely while normally our orders archivists would re the pages be returned for safe decommission in this case we'd simply ask that you get what use you can out of them before they dematerialize entirely oh wow if you

have no that's actually really nice yeah don't you don't have to send the book back uh if you have any further questions please feel free to reply to this email which kind of breaks the tone a little bit uh May the BS sing SS yeah that's I wish they'd said that but then I guess people would have been like what how was in the right May song of your Legend yeah so I love that email uh I think it's [ __ ] awesome and but then it made me wonder as well like yeah I I got the joke and that but what happens if you send it to someone who's like what yeah which is a lot of people I really doubt people who are playing dungeons of dragons are not going to get the joke yeah I think that's what they're banking on so but I do like the fact that they're saying

like not to destroy it not to send it back just if you can still use it go for it but we're going to send you a new one anyway yeah it's fantastic so we got two now one of them obviously pag is falling out but you know it's perfectly usable uh pages are fine they just don't form a book right which you know for when we're playing D andd around the table might actually be an advantage cuz someone can say oh can I have the section on the yeah can I have the Warlock section just hand them the Warlock section so see uh it reminds us we need to play our game again soon it's true Star Wars has been a while also need to send you I've got cards for you for both of you oh for me interesting I forget what yours are I think they're like in they're random

events cards or something and I've got the doctor one for Dan nice hell yeah yeah it's been a little while I'm uh I'm not going to drink next time we play cuz that uh that was a bad idea yeah let's try and keep it a little more on keep more stars story I'm I'm still going to try and sleep with everyone I meet but yeah no more spelling bees I'm going to shoot every woman you [ __ ] can you stop shooting them please I make no promises I might have got the last one pregnant oh God I forgot about that yeah so Matt you uh you had to take a picture of the uh copyright page and they sent you a new book I we had to take we got asked to take a picture of something this week There's a drip somewhere in our bathroom right just a

drip drip drip it's driving away nuts um so we contacted our how do you take a photo of a drip the realtor said send a picture so I know what we're dealing with and we wrote back it's it's just a sound we don't know where it's coming from it's just a constant dripping sound and he wrote back please take a picture of the sound Al it's not even a dream you can [Applause] see just oh man yeah so did you take a photo of your bathroom and no we didn't we didn't just take a photo of of the air wrote back and just said it is it is unphotographable he's he's like oh [ __ ] what's wrong with these people yeah send me a picture of the sound or I'm not going to know what it sounds

like does he mean a recording he just doesn't know the word yeah sound picture like on uh like on my uh my [Laughter] disman I want I wanted to talk about uh Mass Effect cuz we talked about this last week but I didn't realize exactly how bad this was uh and we don't have to spend a long time on it but we didn't really just touch on this at all I don't think unless Luke tried to tell us and we didn't understand but you know they're not making DLC for Mass Effect Andromeda and we were like oh yeah fair enough but they actually haven't even finished the [ __ ] story they like the

DLC was supposed to finish the story shouldn't the game itself finish the story not anymore Dan that's not how games there was a sort of ending to the sort of main story but there was also a sort of stay tuned there's more to come with another Arc to be found and the bad guys were still around they announced it like hours before we recorded I think so it was I hadn't really seen the the backlash from the community yet but people are [ __ ] furious because like the the the quaran quar ship never got found yeah it never got found there's a whole bunch of loose ends that just never got tied up and then now they're just like nah that's that's life man that's life true but uh but I'm sort of with everyone really came down on hard on them and so no

matter what they do now if they were to make more DLC and try and sell that to people people are going to be upset I think they're better to just leave Mass Effect leave it alone for a few years and then come back to it fresh cuz they're going to come back to it it's money yeah well I because it's people are really mad about it right and people were very hard on Mass Effect 3 in particular and people you know often people have said oh you know that's the really enjoyed Mass Effect three I did too but people got really pissed about the ending so much so that the writers left mhm like they resigned cuz they like you know what [ __ ] you all cuz people were we you know we spent [ __ ] 10 years making these games and fans are really ruining stuff yeah like there's

being upset and criticizing stuff yes but like it it's a business like I know that that's not you know that's not the a nice way to look at it but it is like if no one was watching your favorite TV show it'll get cancelled like that's what happens all the time and then people get upset about it has to come in and do a porno version I feel like Mass Effect Andromeda was bad enough clearly cuz people were mad about how not good it was that it doesn't really make sense for them to to spend a [ __ ] ton of money making the DLC yeah which people are just going to [ __ ] on so yeah just walk away leave alone they're still going to continue the story they're actually think later then no no they're actually um they're saying

they're still releasing Books and Comics that will continue dead and droing the story so they're still going to finish it but they're just not making the DLC which yeah cuz unless people were getting it for free people were still going to complain and they would have even complained it was free so yeah I'm okay with them I'm I did not think Mass Effect and Dr I didn't think it was a good game but I don't think it feel as bad as people were making out it could have been a I agree with that I I just it just didn't grab my attention as much CU I I it became obvious to me how repetitive it was but I should have just pushed through with the story but I don't think it was as bad as all that it wasn't I've played worse games yeah I've played much worse

games you've played worse games this week Yes actually no I've played good games oh no I haven't but by the way I uh I saw clicker Heroes watched the trailer and decided [ __ ] off yeah I saw Heroes didn't watch the trailer and decided [ __ ] off I haven't played it once this week um good I've been playing broken for [ __ ] sake play mankind divided I've been playing Bingo I'm addicted to bingo now I've been playing Hitman and also Solita I saw you playing hit man yeah the new one yeah the new one what's up cuz I picked it up on the last sale but I haven't played it yeah people H men you know you hit man that's what you do yeah uh no but all of the Hitman games are the same uh and I love that about them and the ones

where they tried to put in a little bit too much of a story were probably less interesting than the ones where they just send you on missions so far this is just missions so it's good yeah I think that's what they've really gone for this time they've just made it yeah you do go around killing people and it's pretty yeah yeah sounds good I'm enjoying it might have to check it out once I finish bingo I might give it a go it is possible for Bingo it is possible for me to finish Bingo take get all the achievement um there's some sad news this week if it's true uh and Reddit has been very upset about it uh the Apparently former lead writer of ma of halflife 3 put up a Blog post that appears to

be uh the plot of what would have been halflife 3 if it hadn't been canceled uh that's my understanding of the situation I've got a different understanding was that his way of saying it's been cancelled well from what I gathered yeah and he swapped some names around and flipped the genders of some characters and stuff I guess to avoid being sued um because apparently that's enough uh to to circum that and then uh posted it and then that means it's not happening but what is your understanding my something happened since then well no no no but my my feeling on this is it's not the fact it's been canceled cuz they're never going to officially say it's been canceled I think he'd actually sort of

had the story worked out and written out way back they never announced it so they can't cancel it but I think he's had the story sort of all written out and way back then if you actually look at it it's 10 years ago so he's non-disclosure agreement would be finishing up right now and he's probably still flipped it for copyright but he just wanted to get his story out I don't think it's an official announcement of it being cancelled or anything no no no well it's definitely not official and because like I said they never even announced it it was being made but I think it's kind of a confirmation oh valve would being taken as a confirmation that it's not happening valve would be crazy to make that game yeah I agree actually like you saw what happened Mass Effect

yeah they would rip halflife 3 to shreds because Gabe new said a while ago that the thing about halflife games is that they were kind of revolutionary at the time like both games did things that were kind of new and so if they weren't going to do that the implication was they won't bother so I guess they're just not going to bother cuz honestly seems like I the first halflife game was brilliant the second one did not like at all yeah I liked it good game yeah I just but fair enough I didn't know what was happening you got confused I was just wondering around confused i' drive a car I'd get out I'd shoot some things i' drive a boat I'd get out I'd shoot some

things that's just life Luke you you're confused again oh oh that's just that's just you I might give it another try then what you you drunk when you play oh yeah you were never mind stupid question that was a stupid question man yeah I don't know I I didn't I haven't played episode one or two though uh I haven't either actually I think I started to play episode one at one point I have on PC which I don't have a PC so H do I own them I must oh I would that's how I got steam right um let me check my library you can now pre-order your Xbox X already have that's happening done within half an hour of them going on sale I haven't yet they sold out of those special edition ones now haven't

they the launch ones ah yeah they sold out pretty quickly did you get one of those yes yeah okay special about the special edition um nothing much project Scorpio yeah says project Scorpio and I think the the casing looks a little prettier but that's it doesn't cost me any extra didn't actually know there was a limited edition one until after I got the email confirming i' pre-ordered it and I saw I'd got the project Scorpio version I don't know if I need one of these yet we were actually talking about it the other day because I was like oh I wonder if she should pre-order it but then the only reason to get it at the start is for 4K do you have a 4K television nope why are you getting one I'm not that's games will load a little bit faster there will be be some improvements but yeah I'm

actually going to have this one maybe I'm going to wait I'm going to get it so I've got three but I'm probably going to have this one set up with my computer and I'll buy a 4k monitor and I'll play that there right yeah maybe I'll just wait cuz yeah I don't I'll I'll wait and I'll get one as I always do when there's a game I want that I can't play until I buy it that's the thing you're going to be able to play everything on your Xbox one yeah yeah but for now eventually won't eventually there'll be something out that that needs the spec out version to be able to play and it won't be the Scorpio it'll be the version after this perhaps cuz they're saying everything that's on the Scorpio will be able to be played on the Xbox one cuz all those games they you know they said they were

going to enhance like The Witcher and all these games for it and I was like oh wow apparently the really it's just the the resolution that's different and they they're not actually going to do a whole lot other than that so it's just making them a little bit prettier it's not going to change anything yeah so I don't think maybe I'm just just going to wait I I needed one cuz one of my Xboxes is starting to die yeah and I always have to have a replacement I mean unless they want to give me one Microsoft if you're listening if you want to give me one I mean I'll use it if Microsoft are going to give an Xbox One to this podcast I better be getting it that's all I'm saying well you've already got you've got one I need another one look you've

got one and Matt's probably going to buy one too I think if anyone should get get the free one it should be me because I'm the least likely to buy one anyway so they're not actually losing money if they gave it to either of you they'd be losing money the only way to solve this is to give us five of them yeah five that's true yeah one each and Spares yeah true give away to listeners I no I do like having SP work to give away to the listeners I I need spares to give away in a competition that you're not allowed to enter Luke or decide what competition is it's why I had I had two Xbox Ones within 6 months because I needed a spare cuz I can't trust it I don't if one breaks I needed to be able to play again right away imagine Luke's little face if

his Xbox broke and he didn't have a wa anyway if it broke but if he didn't have a spare do you remember that video of him at I love this video of you at pxas in the Halo competition when you were losing was winning most of that match I was winning it was it's on our Instagram I think I'll try and find it it's [ __ ] hilarious to me your little face he's like you were losing but then the game dropped out the Network dropped out and then his face he's like looking around like and then what's it you said oh there's still hope cuz you thought you were going to cuz you thought you were going to get a rematch I I imagine that's your face if your Xbox ever dies just like sad confusion yeah and we'll put that back up on the Instagram this week because it makes me laugh where do you have people

like stuff on the Instagram and then you see it's one of these free gift cards mhm do you report them I've never been offered a gift card I report them as spam if they comment I do we get spam comments sometimes man we got that remember that we got a bunch of racist [ __ ] posted once on uh because of Mass Effect Andromeda on uh Stupid Blues photos no no no it's I forget his name the one of the developers people don't like him but [ __ ] [ __ ] me I was I woke up one day and looked at the comments on the Instagram and I was like oh my God so uh yeah I I got rid of those oh but uh but the spam stuff uh uh yeah I reported if they if they post a comment but if they just like the photo I even I even report them if they like I get so many likes it's

just yeah but I want all my likes to be real likes all right none of this what free Apple Gift Cards liking my [ __ ] why are you getting free gift cards I'm not getting free [ __ ] gift cards he's not getting them cuz he reports them M he's like I do not want your free gifts [ __ ] off yep repor unless it's unless it's Microsoft oh actually that's [ __ ] you want or or any vendor at a convention I will take any free stuff I feel bad about taking it but I will take it you do not feel bad I like you harassed you harassed the staff at the at the Xbox booth at EV Expo for a t-shirt they gave me one you yeah because you were [ __ ] incessantly

bugging them about it and they were like these are for staff and he just wouldn't leave it was like uh occupy Microsoft and he was just going to stand there until they gave him a shirt well why give them a hell of a lot of money because because we were like Jenner and I were like we're going to go look at some games and we wanted off and I'm like he's not getting a shirt [ __ ] 20 minutes later he shows up with a shirt son of a [ __ ] I give Microsoft a lot of money that's true a lot yeah but I don't think it works that if you pay for exactly what you've gotten you deserve some extra stuff you haven't paid for I'm not sure that's how Commerce works times it does if you have like a

rewards prr you get that you get you do get reward and he does benefit from that yeah I just cash in a 50 I they gave me a $50 gift card not long ago with my rewards son of a [ __ ] and I'm halfway to getting another $50 one yeah but that's cuz you yeah you literally buy every game yes even but it's annoying because with the American games that aren't released here I don't they I don't get rewards points for them oh yeah cuz I have to use my other account yeah actually I just realized I think my rewards account is on the Australian store so that's wasted at the moment I should see about changing that yeah all you going do is just transfer your account over and it'll do it automatically I I've done that I've done that it's fine you'll already be over

okay good good good good so um everyone remembers the academy award-winning Suicide Squad yeah yep and everyone's that's not a joke it really won an Academy Award yeah and everyone's favorite character well for me would have been anyone but the Joker what about you guys yeah I I loved everyone but the Joker actually no I hated everyone but I hated the Joker the most yeah that's same well out of everyone that was in that who do you think should be getting two spin-off movies two two wow yeah the joke is getting too spin-off movies now but it's just confusing one of them's going to be in the DC Universe with Harley Quinn and

then the other one is not part of the DC Universe it's not played by is it Jared Leto yeah it's not played by him it's going to be a younger version and it's also going to be the Joker's origin story yeah DC have come out and said that they're going to do a bunch of origin stories that are they've said they're not in the DCU but that's that's not strictly true they're still in the universe but they don't have continuity with the other films that are one long story which is just stupid which is which is why I think there was some confusion last week uh when they were talking about Batman being not in the DCU right right and everyone freaked out he's like no it's still a Batman movie it's still set in the DC Universe but I guess this means they're doing

Standalone films as well as the big story kind of like what Star Wars is now yeah but don't I don't understand why this seems like a shire way to just [ __ ] confuse people yeah already have here's his thing um what's the origin story of The Joker mysterious yeah there isn't one it's hinted that but there's no actual he's he has had stories he had an origin story in Burton's Batman but the the the thing that people praised most about the Dark Knight was that he didn't have one they didn't know anything about him and we weren't going to get one M yeah like and that made it terrifying but in the comics there's there's no like yeah I can't I think they've done I think they have done Origins for him in the comics but then they've kind of been

like ah now forget about it yeah I think a lot of it is they sort of hint at but there's never been an actual thing and so I just yeah I think they and what Dan say they this is going to be confusing so one of them's not I mean well and that's the thing if if it's if Jared Leto right is going to be another one that's that joker that's fine that's that is fairly simple to follow and understand so you're telling me that the Batman film with Ben Affleck in it isn't part of it well that's [ __ ] confusing like if it's got Ben Affleck in it and it and it's also takes place in like a parallel universe then well then it's it's super confusing but I kind of I'm okay with that because um while I like that the Marvel universe is all intertwined and all the stories are

connected I don't feel that every story I watch and every movie I watch should be that in fact Marvel's got that so none of the rest have to be well actually there's actually very very happy that this Batman movie coming out is just Batman going on an adventure and isn't actually the sequel to Justice League no I I agree with that but I also if it's the same actor then and and the same act does cuz cuz Jeremy Irons is still going to be Alfred then I mean it should still be in the same world it doesn't have to have all the think what it is there there's been an update in this article about the spin-off Joker one that it is a standalone story so it's just a one shot stand alone and but I think but is it is it or is it not

within the continuity of the universe this one's not okay but the Batman one is Batman because that one is yeah it looks like people are just trying to cash in and make more movies oh that's a surprise well actually you know what you talk about can we talk about uh how you know Iron Man is in uh in in Spider-Man homecoming right everyone talks about how it's they put Iron Man and everything because he's the most popular one at the moment mhm but except for the first film they're all [ __ ] like he's in good films but his films have been [ __ ] yeah true but everyone loves Tony Stark yes I I get it I think he his character is stronger when he's not the lead when the show's not about him yeah

cuz it's like when he's in the suit he's you know he's he's super powerful and he's the best at everything that's why he's like schooling all the other superheroes and that but then you take him out of the suit and it's like well we've already seen every movie he just oh he's lost the suit yeah like and he's got to shoot people instead he's a [ __ ] withit to everyone yeah he's got a weird facial hair that just can't stop staring at I just can't stop Imagining the person who has to actually shave it into that shape in in real life and in world where he has like a hairdresser who has to do that for him presumably yeah yeah exactly also when he's like he's been awake for 72 hours because he's been working on some

project and it still looks like that that's right yeah like he's had laser to make it stay that way only grows there I mean this is nitpicking but uh they are bad films they I just wanted to yeah it confused me thinking about it I'm like wait a minute well they were also the first ones to start off this Marvel Cinematic Universe weren't they yeah yeah the first one's awesome yeah is great they just I don't know the others are yeah I don't know wait are they doing the fourth I don't think they really need to I they don't need to cuz Iron Man is in all the other films yeah yeah how long he's going to keep doing Iron Man as long as they keep driving that truck of money to his house that's all for this week thank you for listening and we hope you enjoyed the
