[Music] welcome to multiple nerdgasm with your hosts Matt Luke and Dan multiple nerdgasm your guide to All Things nerdy so I finally done it I've been trying for I don't know months or years it's one of those two mhm you solved your Rubik no no I saw them when I was very young all you do is you take the stickers off and then put it back on the right position it's easy yeah takes like 5 minutes done that that you did you solved the mystery what I have done is I finally cracked the top 20 for game of score in Australia really yep got it today that's cool is this a result of no longer hoarding the achievements over
multiple days hoarding is not the right word but spreading them out yeah okay yeah cuz I used to have like a game and I'd sort of well I can get one achievement then it's easy one so I'd leave it for the next day and I I stopped playing games pretty much just so get an achievement a day yeah all right cool congratulations yeah so 20 in a straight means nothing I get nothing but I don't know how long I'll hold on to it for I'm only like 400 in front we wouldn't have been able to do this intro to the podcast if you hadn't done it so there's that there's that so I don't think I'll ever get to the top 10 yeah I was about to say so what what is your gamer score right now at the moment my gamer score is 52,53 right so that's obscene what is number 19
uh that's still too that's doable that's only 5 54,1 195 I can catch them in a day all right then so tomorrow we'll see you at number 19 uh and then all right so what's number 10 number 10 is a bit harder it's 592 564 still doable yeah that doesn't sound I mean like it's still 500,000 and something yeah well there're they're like 880,000 in front of me so it's like 80 full games and the it's not just this their score will also go up wait [ __ ] that's right there's only a thousand in a game yes what's your gamer score 512,000 okay that's a lot now that I'm thinking about it I've want 2,881 achievements in 1320 games Jesus
all right what is my gamer score I'm I'm actually I don't know but I'm sure you probably have it you could probably pull it up quicker than I can yep I'm just going here uh yours is uh 2,295 all right so yeah there is a there's a slight diff difference there yeah you're just a little bit behind me yeah how what am I ranked in well not in Australia I guess anymore but what am I ranked um I don't actually know that because you're not actually on the website yeah probably they just yeah probably didn't bother well no no you have to register for the website right there a free registration you could go in there register and I could keep track of that for you but yeah just at the moment because you're not on there it's
harder to see you're not going to charge me a fee to keep tabs on it for me well I do actually pay this website do you money every year yeah what do you what four it gets rid of the ads okay and I'm one of these people I don't like ad blocker sure so I got rid of Ys by paying for them yeah and then also it means I can refresh my gamer score all right so there's a couple features that you like yeah cuz it's sort of it's one of those things you can set more goals you can sort of refresh cuz what it does is I think you get like three refreshes a day right before it goes no you can't more can't imagine ever needing more than that but okay it's nice to sometimes when achievements aren't unlocking properly you can actually see what you've got and
Nic is to see gamer score jump up very yeah I guess actually cuz the interface is a little clunky on the Xbox for that stuff all right cool all right well so we'll have some followup next week you'll be at number 19 and then uh maybe well don't know with that attitude come on mate it also depends on what other people are doing it's not just me yeah I suppose I supp score doesn't stay there I have to fight to keep my position yeah no good point good point well it's uh there's always new games coming out and uh mhm and some of them are [ __ ] but you can get a achievements in them like I love some of those [ __ ] games I know you spend a lot of time playing those [ __ ] games buddy you know that right yeah I I really do all right actually I I started
playing a new game this week what's that no man's Sky oh not a new game a new old game yeah I I put that in here it's out on Xbox for for those who don't know no man's sky is a game that came out on the PlayStation originally it was hyped to the [ __ ] ceiling yep and uh and did not live up to that and I I honest really don't blame the developers no it look they had big plans for this and I think it just got too much hype and it couldn't just couldn't live up to it in an interview he was saying recently like he he would have loved more time but he just couldn't get that more time cuz I think Sony were we need this out now yeah so it's procedurally generated uh space game and no I haven't
played it so I don't know a huge amount about exactly the gaml but I know that you basically fly around and explore in the planets and animals and everything is procedurally generated uh but when it came out I think that's kind of all there was I mean you could build stuff and and you can craft and collect resources M stuff but there was no story yeah there wasn't much else to it and so everyone was like there no multiplayer which for a game where you go around build mind stuff you need multiplayer these days but the new release I mean it's been what 2 3 years since it came out years yeah and so what I like to think of it is it's finally left early access yeah yeah that's basically what it should have been um so it's out now on Xbox as well and PC was
sorry it was on PC already but uh the new version It's No Man's Sky next it's called I think yes um no well it's not it's still no man sky but the next is the update that came out for it okay and uh it's got multiplayer and it's got story and it's got all sorts of cool [ __ ] and it's actually a complete game and it seems like people are like ah it's good now yes this is what everyone was wanting um what I'm from what I saw of like original videos of what I'm playing now I think the the generation has changed a lot as well right I don't just the colors seem a lot nicer to me m okay like in the original one just seemed more I don't know cartoony which now I'm walking around planets so go this feels real okay you know what I'm going to have to
grab this today because I I really wanted to play this at the time and then I got disappointed by all the you know the the hate for it uh but uh I mean even even at the time like I watched a couple videos and it looked good it's just I don't know I think maybe this is going to be something I'll enjoy I think you will it's you can actually it's a bit like Conan sure with what you can do you can basically do whatever you want yeah or you can follow the story so how does the multiplayer work I don't know I don't play multiplayer sure but I can I can load up the game and just go like start a party with friends or something oh well okay so I'm was curious because if I'm in the game and I'm want to plan it and I've built a little settlement for myself and then
like I want to play with Luke you're not you don't exist in my universe like and your planet your planet doesn't exist cuz it's all procedurally it's procedurally generated yeah but they all connect somehow I don't know how it works hly that's the my question is can you can you like jump to other systems like is that how they could [ __ ] oh you know what yeah you can jump and then also you get um's just find out like it does say do I want like people to be able to see my base and stuff oh okay all right well let's and it does when I even join singer it goes people may join your like it's basic say I might run into someone interesting wonder how that works then I remember one complaint that I was like I don't really care is that
um for all the talk of you know procedurally generated planets and animals and stuff and everything sort of looks the same yes all for all the infinite variation that they claimed they could be everything looks like a planet with plants and animals on it and they all all sort of you know sort of kind of follow the same basic rules yeah I think yeah all the animals sort of looked all the same and I think that's still to some degree still the case but it's different enough for me how [ __ ] variable and weird do you want it yeah like cuz you have to it's got to be it's still got to be a manageable game yeah cuz if it could just be anything you might go down and there might be some animal that's half the planet and that will break the game
from uh Guardians 2 yeah oh we got follow we do oh yeah yeah we don't have to uh we don't have to talk about it just yet but we do a followup on certain things but no I I got this the first day came out and I ended up playing it for like 6 hours it's just I couldn't put it down okay yeah I'm going to get it to start with and then I stopped so don't get this to play with me well I'm no no no I won't but I'm going to get it and then we can try the multiplayer yeah because I'm uh and find out what it does exactly y all right so we got some follow okay yes go follow what are we following up okay quite quite a lot uh since I just mentioned um we've got uh so we talked about James
gun in the uh in the after after dark after party last week um and now most members of the Guardians cast have said something about about it uh Dave Batista has been very vocal about how he's unhappy about it Michael Rooker quit Twitter he's very unhappy about it um the others have been a little more vague in their support I guess like they sort of do they still their sort of they have to sort of be because they their employers they got to be careful yeah which which is which is you know it's fine Chris Pratt's basically just he's been quoting Bible verses that I and I feel like they're a little they could go either way like it's not really clear what he means like to me so I don't know
I'm not quite sure where he stands on things um but the it it seems like most of them support James gun it's just not clear if they're going to actually do anything about it or if they're able to because people were saying oh it' be great if they could all just you know like go on strike or quit or whatever over it I don't think they can do that like they're contractually obliged to be in the movies so yeah I think if they go and shrike all sort of threaten the quit or something they get sued yeah there's probably Clauses in their contract that it cost them lots of money to do that so I don't know we'll see what happens uh I think maybe this is a permanent thing though he's not doing three so yeah U and then Bobcat gowe who apparently is
good friends with James gun tweeted it or posted on Instagram and said that uh he used to make a bunch of off-color jokes too um so he would like Disney to remove his voice from the Disneyland ride that they're about to release because he was a character in The Hercules movie and uh and they got a new ride coming out that features that character and then uh so he's saying if they're going to fire James gun well then he's also going to need to be removed from the ride because he yep he also said some some naughty things so that that sort of seems fair to me yeah so I thought that was that was amusing it was nice nice to see some support there and yeah and that's about it really I think from now on things will probably
just start moving forward Al Rosanne was upset because uh she tweeted and said that she can't believe everyone's supporting James gun and they didn't support her uh well in in in 10 years y when she's moved on and changed her thinking we might support her and forgive her had she not been came up again had she not specifically been making fun of human individual in a racist way it might be a little different too he was just making like you know jokes he wasn't targeting anyone in particular still going in 10 years time throw changed her ways then forgiveness and then yes bad move on ABS that's when people would support it we're not going to support you at the time yeah Y and if like J gun hadn't made these now he
wouldn't have the support that's behind you absolutely yeah if he if he had tweeted that stuff for recently [ __ ] I mean look I'd probably still be like oh you know that was dumb but I it sucks I I I'd be somewhat supportive but I would I wouldn't be as annoyed about it but I know most people would be like nope yeah throw them under the bus not me actually yeah me or maybe I don't know I haven't actually read the the tweets I think the worst of the um tweets were quite bad it's just edgy jokes we we we already talked about this in the after after dark but I don't think I don't think pay $10 and you can hear it yeah the the after dark not the tweets yeah and uh all right for the
follow-up speaking of Disney um the Disney shareholders have okayed the fox buyout so uh Disney it looks like the the Disney acquisition of fox is happening I'm not sure what the next steps are still lots of paperwork to haveen but yeah they both Fox and Disney had to have votes with their shareholders and both of them had to have majority yes and they got them if one side had no then the doesn't go ahead but they both voted they both came up yes so it's it's going to happen yeah the mouse absorbs the fox I can't see it yeah something would bad would have to change something big would have to come up to stop this from happening now I wonder at what point is you know cuz you have uh I not I don't
know a whole lot about this stuff which will become clear in a minute um you have antitrust lawsuits and stuff like that what happens when Disney owns all of the media is that a problem well they can't well that's what I'm saying okay that yeah that that and that's actually why part of this deal is I believe they have to sell the news part of it oh right right right like it still comes across straight away but they have to get rid of that area very quickly that's fine just shut it down oh know but you can't though because to exist I may be wrong with that but I I believe it was something like that there's something that they can't there yeah when it went through the courts I went no you can't have this part of the business right oh fair
enough but yeah I'm sort of Bring It On like let's we can find we might get a good Fantastic Four movie well not a Fantastic Four movie but they might come back yeah yeah yeah there's quite a lot that uh that could be cool about this X-Men uh yeah just xand in the universe no more talking about oh what do they call them in the Avengers movie uh cuz they're not mutants I was going to say Inhumans but I don't think that's right they call them enhanced yeah I can't remember yeah no more sort of skirting around they're just going to be straight up mutant yeah um we have some follow up on actually this was also in the after afterparty guys you [ __ ] infected me with this after dark in the Afterparty uh Bill and Ted 3 uh Ki Reeves was worried that it wasn't
going to happen Alex Winter says don't worry it's it's as likely to happen as it ever was or more so uh there's just always potential production issues so you know it'll be fine he said it took all right guys I'm going to come out and say don't tell us anything more until day one of filming I'm sick of the it's going to happen it's all going head to no it's not anymore he said it was a year and a half on the Shelf Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure and they thought that was never going to come out after they'd made it all K Reeves is saying is anything can go wrong at any point so don't think that just because it got green lit that is 100% going to come out but also that applies to literally everything so also don't
panic yeah but so because how long has they've been talking about this for what three years now yeah I think basically it's there's no news about Bill and Ted 3 is what we could take away from this which yep I'm fine with no news and then just come back and tell me it's filming or better yet come out and say it's filmed it's coming out on this date y or hey look here's Bill and Ted 3 happy birthday Luke do I get the rights to Bill and Ted 3 for my birthday yeah apparently it's a pretty sweet present in this fictional scenario I've created you're welcome I'm going to sell them right away be wise oh and uh this is uh more followup you uh you may be happy about this The Buffy series might actually be
a sequel which cuz that's what you suggested right yeah that I think that that would get bring on new people and definitely bring old people back MH old people us yeah would you you you you would I know I would be more likely to watch it if it was a sequel and I think you would be as well yeah if it was like the deg grassy reboot that was had like you know some of the L characters in it and it was just yeah yeah oh yeah yes I would watch that yeah so yeah and I I don't see why people couldn't come back as yeah their characters totally like we spoke about Xander he he he's come back and do anything yep you offer him free lunch and he'll be there
yeah good old [ __ ] Nicholas any of him doing anything I thought Sarah Michelle Gill sort of stopped working and now she's got some food thing yeah she was doing some she had some TV shows and stuff and then she's got a food thing and she have a new show you know what I don't know I know that Allison hanigan's been on penella fullas she's been hosting that and then she was in um uh How I Met Your Mother obviously for a long time time so she's doing all right um Alexi denisov who was married to Alison Hanigan I don't know what he's doing now I don't know what oh David Banas was in that cop show Bones and then and he's in some show where he's a uh marine or something now as well he he's one that they couldn't bring back the same way as
you couldn't bring Spike back you know what I don't remember I I never saw the end of Angel and I don't remember what happened to spike no no no I'm not not saying they they dead or anything I'm saying because they've aged oh I remember when we went oh because they're vampires yeah you know what I was about to say so is the rest of the cast Luke yeah no I'm a [ __ ] idiot yeah but remember when we went and saw James bares he's gone like I would have loved to do it but I've already told Jos that he's missed his time to come back and make put me in anything yeah cuz you you'd have to make up something about why they age would just be stupid and then he and then he said come and see me sing some songs and then when we got there he was like I'm not doing
anything from Buffy and everyone was like no that's all we're here for yeah actually his songs weren't that bad but a glowing review oh they weren that bad no I just it wasn't what I was expecting no no of course I was expecting Buffy mhm and then the final piece of followup uh listeners who have been with us for a bit will know that I've got a movie pass here in the US which is a service where you pay $10 a month and you can see as many movies as you want uh do you still have a movie pass I do for for the for the short term at least um theyve we've mentioned a couple of times they they've been in financial trouble because it turns out that uh them paying full price when I only paid $10 a month to see you know
unlimited movies isn't a great business model so they've uh they've been they've been struggling mentioned that and then uh last week apparently they literally ran out of money and the server stopped working uh because they couldn't afford to pay for the tickets that people were trying to buy on the app and they had to borrow $5 million to fix it so see I think that's s of a bit crazy for borrowing that money instead of just gone we're done well this hasn't worked they I mean whether this I don't know if this is just talk they they keep saying oh no no no we we we think we're going to be um we're going to be making a profit by the end of 2018 somehow and so I've always been like you know what let's see what happens CU I mean as long
as it works it's working great for you it's costing you $10 you get to get a movies a little time they started doing stuff like uh you can't see movies more than once now they they they that used to be the rule with it they took it away you could see a movie as many times as you wanted uh and now they they've put that back in so you can only see a movie Once which I think that's fair yeah it doesn't worry me it's fine I can deal with that um yep the other thing that they've put in now is surge pricing which means if it's a busy period you have to pay more which is a bit cheeky cuz you know if I only go once a month and I'm paying I think a movie ticket here on Tuesday is like 12 bucks so if it's Tuesday night I could have just bought a movie ticket I have to do a
little bit more work to make it cheaper than just going of the movies if I'm if they're going to do that and the other thing is too I had we lot you know a lot of friends of ours here have them too they went to the movies to see something this week and it was Surge pricing so they had to pay extra uh and there was only three people in the theater so how the [ __ ] is that a busy period so how well how's the search proessing work so do you actually pay more yeah so like at the time or yeah there's a few things and and cuz you can also add on you can't see 3D movies with it normally but you can pay a little bit extra to see a movie in 3D if you want uh and I guess they just charge that extra off your credit card that they have on file okay so yeah but still you'd work out so
coming ahead sort of you see two movies you got your money back even if you pay that little bit extra for surge you if I go once a month if it's only the $10 then and I go once a month then it's good uh now it's a little bit more more variable but uh it's still pretty good H I think their price point is too low oh yeah like I don't think yeah I think if they had it maybe even $5 more yeah I think they just they're just bank I I think they're hoping they're going to figure it out somehow and I just don't know how no all cuz the whole the whole way this works is people give the money and then don't go to the movies that's how this system works exactly that's what that's I think that's what they're hoping is oh
hopefully everyone will join and most people just won't go and then we'll be making money except nope everyone's going people are getting multiple cards buying [ __ ] popcorn and we've talked about this before too people have been cheating and and and getting popcorn with an extra movie pass that they have and and yeah they got yeah I just think yeah they just need to increase the price point a little bit make it a little bit more than what one ticket would cost yeah it's like before they didn't do a business plan or anything they just sat down with a couple of be and they went you know what would be awesome if you could pay 10 bucks a month and just go see as many movies as you wanted let's just make that and then they're like yeah all right and then
yeah and then this is what happened well it still works out awesome for you because you get to go see movies as much as you wants great yep uh well for now yeah so we'll see well I actually did go to the movies this week did you I saw Jurassic world too I wish I had have gone and seen skyscraper skyscraper is good um do we talk about skyscraper anyway you saw Jurassic world what do you think Jurassic world is just all over the place have you seen it no I didn't bother okay so the started oh should I go into spoilers it's been two weeks for sure two weeks jur par spoilers yeah sorry everyone so it comes up starting off with should they there's a a volcanic volcanic eruption on the island and the Island's going to be destroyed
and the government's going should we save the dinosaurs they an endangered species and all this no they're not just make more of them yeah exactly but because they're alive they're and then the government goes no this is because this is a privately funded thing we're not going to spend taxpayers money to get involved good and then it goes to a private citizen is coming in go look we're going to give you money to come and get them off the island but we have to be careful cuz smug smuggling endanged species is illegal and I'm wait what what but that makes no sense yeah all right and then it turns out that the people were decided to there they were rescuing the animals so they could sell them on the black market oh what a shock so it's
alien but Jurassic Park but I don't know why people were buying these dinosaurs well I mean I can I I'd probably buy a dinosaur if I could one that would kill you no no I'd probably get it CLA I found it very strange how they managed to convince Chris Pratt's character Owen to go back to the island to rescue the one Velociraptor oh yeah blue which to me blue it would have been nicer to let Blue die cuz what the one thing that they've said from the very first Jurassic Park movie is they pack animals and they hunt together and they're all close oh yeah and go he's the only one left oh why are you going to rescue him to live by himself without anyone that just that's cruel put him out of his misery
yeah all right so but I did get te I did get te at some points cuz it was so bad well no no just just some really sad bits oh just Chris Pratt's just such an amazing actor that you uh yeah [ __ ] I can't believe you chose Chris Pratt over the Rock You L like not only we talked about this the other week oh yes but you literally chose him over the rock I did not choose the movie we were going to see Hannah organized to go movies with friends that I tagged a lot fine cuz I have no friends my friends left the country sorry we need to uh we need to do that thing where we watch movies together and record commentary yes only because that means we watch movies together like we used to so yeah um dress world I um yeah this one's worse than the last one [ __ ] with the last one was not good either
cuzz they they had a thing where they've created another dinosaur again which they've got they've got stuff from the last one that they created so it can go invisible and all that stuff and then they've combined it with more Velociraptor they're going to be able to control it more and the way they get it to attack people is you have a gun with a laser on it the Velociraptor follows the laser and when you hit a button the Velociraptor will attack and I'm why not just shoot them that's [ __ ] dumb I just yeah what you point the laser pointer at somebody and push the button and it attacks them yeah they genetically engineered it to do that yes to to respond to a button yep it's [ __ ] dumb that's [ __ ] dumb Luke oh no it it was is

remake of Home Alone yeah I saw this uh and I thought it sounded dumb it's more it's basically a stoner gets misses his flight to go away with his friends so goes home smokes a lot of pot gets paranoid that people are breaking in and then tries to make traps to stop them so it's it is home alone except it's it but it's an R-rated com well you I don't you don't know if it's real oh okay I don't know if if he's going to be the star of it because I don't know for me I think this would have been a movie he could have done about 10 years ago or sure he's got to been a gray coming through these days yeah I just don't think he's playing the his right age bracket for this movie to work sure what do you think though I think this movie is not
for me uh and I do think it would need to be a younger person yeah just personally but then again I I wouldn't watch it so maybe I don't know yeah it's also like you couldn't even have Seth Rogan and James Franco in that part anymore they are too old I definitely wouldn't watch that what do you got against them uh well I mean that James Franco let's not go there because he's uh he's had some controversy lately but uh I don't know I just don't find Seth Rogan particularly funny that's all nothing I nothing against him personally he might be a nice guy I know don't you just got to make a decision well I I have to I have to pick something that I don't like about him all right fine it's it's those beady
eyes those beady little eyes just I can't I can't look at them it's they're peering into my soul I can't do it you said her own yeah yeah I watched him in a movie today what movie I didn't enjoy it it was something else just playing games what movie uh you're not going to name before the night before I've not heard of that it's uh a Christmas movie that three friends go out for one last her and get drunk and stoned and have become friends again yeah it's yeah don't bother it's a good movie to watch while I was playing a game all right we're doing theing I did someing today very good we've got a new segment that I don't know if this is going to come up very often but just
coincidentally there's quite a lot of this this week and it's going to be your new favorite segment I'm pretty sure and it is called Kristen Stewart News oh God she decided to retire no better stop trying to be famous and don't get a normal job no she's doing lots of stuff Luke she's well she's doing two she's doing two things two things maybe one thing and maybe another thing this week it's been announced that Stewart your favorite actress will star in a reboot of Charlie's Angels maybe your favorite film I don't know what is your favorite film is it Charlie's Angels probably is no I actually I'm not sure what my favorite film is at the moment I hate it's definitely not Charlie Ang Charlie T DRS is a good movie though yeah wait it it's fun sorry
did you just uh okay okay I'm going to let that go it's a fun movie mhm the first one or the second one you or you like both they're both just as camping over the top as each other they definitely are that okay I I mean look I haven't seen them in a long time but okay they do have crisp and Glover in them which is a plus yeah I sometimes it's nice just to watch these over the top movies all right all right I'm but you don't have to think I'm going to allow this but is that what the Remake is going to be I have no idea it's being directed by Elizabeth Banks uh who I like so I do like her so that's a plus who so it's got Naomi Scott and Ella banga yeah I don't know who they
are so uh I didn't I didn't bother mentioning it all right here we go she has been in no her and is known for haunted and tears of the tropics uh what's haunted maybe I've seen that haunted I think you might have that would be a movie you would have seen she does look a lot like cat Graham which could be why I'm thinking she looks familiar but no no you wouldn't have seen haunted it's a short hunted it's called hunted Luke there's no a in there I saw the agent underneath and I just combined the a from agent a wolf I took that a and I put it in hunted that's fair it got haunted all right so yeah know I've definitely never seen this this girl in anything looks like cat Graham that's probably but no she's
like really a bit of an unknown yeah I don't know why they're putting her up in there with a you know with a top tier actress like Kristen Stewart so that's unusual well maybe they maybe they're just Elizabeth is decided to just go with all unknowns for this reboot yeah she's slumming it yeah uh and in other Christen Stewart News she might be back they're looking at so they just want to completely just power through and just completely destroy the DC Universe they don't want to try and bring it back at all I think uh just tank their scene no I think they just I think they're just really into her they just it's the range
you see it's the range of uh of of of acting the range of acting that's the term is it yeah see I don't for me the B girl I've always known was happy so why would you pick her to play her yeah J would not be able to do a happy Batgirl yep well we'll see maybe she's going to maybe she'll surprises maybe it's it's literally that she just always gets cast in roles where she's got to look grumpy and it's cuz that's all she can do how do but maybe that's not the case maybe she just been typ cast maybe this is a has to break out of it no no I don't I don't see it you're not willing to give her a shot no all right fine I guess she knows what she

because I don't know that that's really a thing can you want to be an actor or actress and not want to be famous yes you think so yeah okay all you're doing is you're not applying for the lead role so you think yeah so if you you're just an extra then you're then you're all right if Christian sh do you think if she if she decided no I'm just going to be an extra from now on you'd be okay with that yep bit Parts maybe do like just some plays and stuff where you can still be an actor but you don't get famous like that's yeah you can still be an actor and not be famous yeah Fair all right yeah but you can leades think that's because they don't want to or because they just haven't yet like I was an actor for a long time as a child I was an extra in things and I definitely

Fisher will be in Star Wars Episode 9 now would you like to explain how they're using footage that they have already filmed of her yes but from episode 7 episode 8 that wasn't used in the movie so it's probably going to be a flashback yeah could be cuz I still have the feeling that this movie is going to be set 10 years in the future at least because they said that they wouldn't use a CGI character like like they did in Rogue one said that they wouldn't and they wouldn't recast her now and I think I mean look they're not legally bound to to that but that does put a lot of restrictions on them especially if they're going to use old footage like if they're going to actually follow that
rule they can literally only use the footage or where do you draw the line you know what I'm saying oh that they they they don't have to draw a line they're just going to do whatever they do to make it are they going to are they going to crop her out of the old footage and put her in the new scenes or does that count as CGI princess layer you know what I mean like what does JJ absw we don't know what these deleted these scenes are no of course not like at all so we we might be able to find out but we may never know what what the original scene was yeah yeah good point but uh yeah she's going to be in there and so is mar well we do know one if they do have her in a scene with Billy D Williams we're going to know
that's not quite right right because yes Billy D Williams has previously announced is is also in it which I still don't understand how he wasn't in the last one how he wasn't in The Last Jedi you don't understand why Ryan Johnson in the film The Last Jedi where he subverted fan expectations you don't understand why he didn't put Lando in it yep I mean he could have had it Lando could have had a cameo in the casino so easily like so very easily and I would have been happy with that I don't want to talk about the Last Jedi but uh but uh yeah I I agree with you completely but that's not what Ryan Johnson was going
for and that's why he's not doing the next movie have we heard anything else about his tril well he is in the news this week because he and there's actually one aspect of this that surprised me and it's it's maybe not what you think so after the James gun incident a couple of days later Ryan Johnson deleted 20,000 old tweets from his Twitter 20,000 that's the that's the bit that I was like Ryan Johnson has tweeted over 20,000 times what the [ __ ] what is he tweeting about and how the [ __ ] did he manage to cherry pick 20 cuz people are like being you know oh what was he deleting is he delet did he post a bunch of you know Kitty jokes or whatever and then it's like what he he
[ __ ] how long did he sit there and pick through his tweets if he was just deleting offensive jokes like I think probably he just called his entire Twitter history I'd say yeah he just picked a date and went from here it's all gone and all and then people are saying oh what's he got the high what's you got to hide if you're a celebrity and you're not deleting your tweets at this point you're a [ __ ] idiot like they are weapon they are weaponizing Twitter and you need to [ __ ] you should have any celebrity should only have one tweet up at a time if he gets any backlash delete it right away exactly just don't use Twitter it's not well Michael Rooker said [ __ ] I'm out of here so yeah so he deleted 20,000 old tweets which is [ __ ] a lot of tweets
like I do yeah I don't I can't imagine ever tweeting that much and I it could just be you know he uh he had a lot of obviously coped a lot of [ __ ] over the last Jedi like don't harass Ryan Johnson we've said this before like that's if you didn't like the movie that's fine you can say you didn't like it but you don't have to tell him to kill himself yeah I didn't like the film I'm not going to go [ __ ] yell at him on Twitter about it who cares like he he I I'm sure he made the film he wanted to make and he tried to do a good job like I just didn't like it so leave him alone um so maybe he he deleted them because he had been I think I can't to tell cuz he deleted him but I believe he
was sort of arguing with fans a little bit he was resp to people at least so maybe he thought you know what not a good look at the moment so I'm going to get rid of it all just to play it safe just delete it all yeah yeah I think I think Twitter's just if you're a celebrity don't do it oh just don't do it anyway I was going to I want to delete mine I'm sick of it go for it I don't use it very often yeah I don't I'm actually having a look I'm just looking at my Twitter now and I think yes it may be easy to get that 20,000 like I don't use my Twitter at all and I've tweeted 97 times how many times have I tweeted let me have a look I don't use mine very often I have 3,258 tweets you know what maybe you're right
yeah and that's again you're not using it a lot yeah you're right if somebody someone who actually used this fair enough cuz I don't use just seems insane though and I've got three and a half thousand on there I've got a picture of my old house got picture of Jenner up there from Hershey Park that's where we were yesterday most all everything of tweet that I've done in like the last year is just tweets from the true achievements website that post automatically when I complete a game or reach a milestone yeah I saw I see them every now and then yeah and well the final piece of Star Wars news somewhat related I guess uh the cast and crew sorry crew we don't
know cast probably probably can't ask the cast to do this but crew of uh Star Wars Episode 9 appear to be using won't be able to look at any tweets that's right cuz they're all using old uh [ __ ] flip phones and stuff apparently now this has been deleted in the meantime so you won't be able to see this listeners but uh a a crew member of Star Wars Episode 9 put up a photo of a you know like an old SCH dumb phone uh and said uh this is that's what they basically that's what they're using on set so I the the implication being you're not allowed to take a smartphone on which would seem to it makes sense if you don't want people taking photos and stuff so yeah or tweeting stuff that get him fired by
Disney but yeah they've had that happen quite a bit oh yeah with people sneaking even yeah like that's always happened with Star Wars films yeah yeah except with [ __ ] Force awakens they left the [ __ ] Millennium Falcon out in the middle of nowhere and people found it you remember that happened they they shot um on a on a a big life-size you know replica of the Millennium Falcon out in the woods somewhere in how awesome would it have been to go and find I know then they just left it there the the interior wasn't wasn't done up yeah but still just be sitting outside yeah that'd be cool yeah someone found it there was a bunch of photos I guess that's not really a Le cuz you know what the Millennium Falcon looks like yeah in this case I guess
they just don't want people while they're shooting taking photos so makes sense yeah so yeah top secret they start filming next week this week oh soon that soon yeah oh yeah yeah cuz it comes out it's next year it's next December isn't it I think so this one yeah they start shooting real soon so oh this is also followup in a way uh I don't know whether they listen to this podcast they probably do because this happens a lot but a former developer from BioWare has responded to Luke's claims about what will happen if if Anthem fails and he's saying that doesn't mean the studio will close he thinks that uh this is not the the be all in end all for them what do you have to say about that Luke he well I like
how it's forone he decided to get out early he jump ship and he's not sticking around to see what happens yeah maybe and I like how he's already discussing if handsom fails so it's not like he's got a lot of faith in it yeah good point cuz I don't it's really hard they even work out what this game is anymore first it sounded like it was going to be a lot like uh Destiny but now they're saying no it's going to be more single player with multiplayer C elements multiplayer elements so who knows what this game is anymore but I don't think it's going to good how far away is the game still years right uh February oh that's not years all right no 22nd of February it comes out I guess we'll find out so yeah I I I really think this might be it you guess you heard it here
first you maybe didn't people probably already knew but but by aare you will be missed maybe you you might wow me with this game but what I've seen so far it's not working we'll always have nights of the Old Republic h on my iPad God I love that game it was so good it's difficult to play difficult to replay I've tried a couple times it does it does not does not hold up I remember being [ __ ] Blown Away by it at the time and now I'm like oh okay is that what I used to think was Graphics yeah there's something else I tried to play recently and I was like oh God like this blew my mind when it came out there you go but you remember it so much better oh absolutely yeah ni the Old Republic [ __ ] man I had to get a new video card to play it and now I'm
like playing it on my iPad and I'm like oh really I spent $500 to play this I mean the story is great and it's Star Wars and it's it's a good game it's just see give us not to the Old Republic 3 please please give us that but they W they could even do it like EA has Star Wars license yeah go bow Weare make this for us I have it for now get some of those old people to come back their petitions to take it away from and make a great game yeah just a good one even just a good one no a great one would be good though I don't even know cuz there are a couple more Star Wars games coming out before EA loses the license but I not even sure what they are anymore or when they're coming out they canceled that Bounty

in uh in Twitter SLS space news and this might be a good way listeners if you're if you've had enough of Twitter and you don't want to use it anymore just change your name your display name on Twitter to be Elon Musk and Twitter will take care of that for you because apparently they are locking the accounts of people who Chang their name to Elon musk who aren't Elon Musk and at first I was like how do they know who isn't Elon Musk no no bear with me because you know what if he opened a second account or something like that uh too bad I guess you have to if your account's not verified as Elon Musk you can't be Elon Musk so I wonder why uh that's part of a cryptocurrency scan
going on people claiming to be El musk so uh so that's that's what they've done to uh oh so they're pretending to be him and then contacting people to go hey give me money and I'll get you it on this deal or something I'm not 100% sure what the scam is but yeah I imagine it's something like that they're posing as him to extort money from people yeah I don't know how people fall for that stuff yeah yeah I I I wonder that myself sometimes cuz I've actually seen this happen on a the people I follow on Twitter not Twitter on Instagram yeah where they they'll post up thing go this account is not me stop giving them money they're not contact yeah cuz they'll basically contact people and go hi this is my backup account I I'll send you nudes if
you give me this and sort of like they're not they they're not doing that there's a I mean this comes up a lot obviously but there was a thing on Reddit recently that um a guy works with somebody who has just kind of started taking their job a little more casually and said that uh not to worry because they're going to be getting a big big check soon and then they were like what are you talking about and then they said don't tell anyone but um I got this guy he's he's having to um he's having to move some money into the US uh you know so he's he's having me deposit these checks and this kind of stuff and the guy was like that's a scam like like they're going to cancel the check and you're going to be out thousands and thousands of dollars and he's like no
mate no and he said he couldn't convince him and uh yeah God I I don't know how people fall for it like and then he said he sent him links to the links to articles about it on the web like this is exactly how the scam works like and and it's exactly what what's happening and he's like no not not me I'm not going to be fooled by that you have been fooled by that mate yep people do not real people are not contacting you in finding out ways to give you money no it doesn't happen it does not happen it's like uh we knew somebody who um I don't want to name names um but we knew somebody whose mother had been giving money to a guy he basically it
came up one day he was visiting his mom she's she's elderly uh could have been his grandmother actually um he was visiting her and she started talking about her boyfriend boyfriend and he was like what and um she goes oh yeah yeah my boyfriend came around I got to I got actually we need to get an ATM cuz I I owe him some money and the guy's like what are you talking about and then so it turns out she's kind of got um I don't know if it's Alzheimer's or she's just she's just elderly so she may have a little bit dementia whatever and this guy young guy comes around once a week her boyfriend to collect the money that she owes him and she just doesn't remember that this happens every week and the guy was like holy [ __ ] I had they had to call the police they found
out who he was like he got spoken to um they I don't think they could really do anything because there wasn't any evidence as such CU it was all cash but uh yeah but yeah that that literally happened to somebody that I know well somebody's n so yeah someone you sort of know yeah but no but cuz I every now and again I'll get like a scam phone stuff and sometimes I'll even go look at my spam folder in my email oh I do that too What's happen that's why I get sometimes I get some funny emails for this show from there but I also have a look and go like if people are doing this it's because they are making money from it yes otherwise they wouldn't bother yeah and I how how do people how does it do it how do people fall for this stuff this
day and age when people get phone calls from from someone Within with an Indian accent saying hi it's Microsoft and I need to access your computer like follow these instructions like no don't do that no how how are people falling for that the big one that'll be happening in a straight at a moment is people getting phone calls saying uh they owe the tax office money oh yeah yeah yeah that and the great one and people have fallen for this look so you don't go to jail if you could send some um iTunes gift cards to this address iTunes gift cards and I'm like no government agency is accepting iTunes gift cards listeners don't pay for anything ever with iTunes gift cards if anybody ever asks you to pay for something with iTunes gift cards it is a
