so I may have done something stupid the other night get out doesn't surprise me um I accidentally purchased a new phone welcome to multiple nerdgasm with your hosts Matt Luke and Dan multiple nerdgasm your guide to All Things nerdy okay well it doesn't sound I'm going to assume you didn't stupid fin jump on the bandwagon and purchase the Apple iPhone right no I I did not I got I've sort of I was just bucking around on kogan which is like Amazon in Australia [ __ ] I haven't seen that website in a while I don't think they have that here go on and uh I was looking at the pixel 3 XL okay okay and then was just mucking around seeing how

much should be how much shipping would be and then accidentally went yeah okay I'll buy it and then I accidentally inputed your credit card details I Dr 200 gin and tonics and then all of a sudden I woke up and it said thanks for your order yeah so Luke what phone do you currently use uh pixel 2 XL okay right so you're you're not a you're not new to the pixel Market no I quite like the pixel it's a good phone but I did it's quite expensive at the moment cuz it's still quite new so my understanding that the the plus side of getting the pixel is for its camera right it's got It's got a really outstanding camera great camera and unlimited storage for photos now because I'll put it to you that you just spent a lot of money on a new camera yes yeah so spending a lot of

money on a new phone that has a new camera seems a little bit redundant doesn't it well I didn't really want to buy it I was actually just mucking around just trying to see things it wasn't accident me hitting by but surely by that point you're hitting byed to can you're putting it in your cart and then you're going into the cart and then you're going purchase like there's a lot of steps accidentally I will in your defense I I mean I haven't used kogan in a while I have actually have myself ordered a phone off kogan in the past uh when I live in Australia but on Amazon right I have this disabled because the the thought of it terrifies me but you can turn on OneTouch ordering which means if my and I think that's brushed the wrong button I would [ __ ] order

anything I'm looking at cuz I honestly did not want to buy this phone it's like, 1500 bucks but that said I do have I do have plenty of time to cancel orders on Amazon and I've canceled orders that I at the time was like yeah I'll get that and then an hour later was like I shouldn't have bought that and I can cancel it so I measured them right away they've with like 5 minutes putting the order in they got back to be two days later after it shipped cuz it Doesn't arri arrives tomorrow they're going hey yes these are the forms of payment we accept and I went it's not really what I was asking about yeah I think kogan's not in Australia uh for the record they ship out you know what I wonder if they ship out of Singapore mine came from uh somewh because they're

gray Market phones I got nothing to do with this they're gray Market phones yes which they work just as well the [ __ ] is the gray Market the gray Market isin knockoffs no no no just they're like you know how maybe you don't know I don't you may know that different countries have different versions of the phones right right so and what kogan does I think generally is they'll buy like the the Asian countries phones which are cheaper for some reason and then sell them to people in Australia for cheaper yeah all it is it doesn't come with like a Australian plug so I just have to get an adapter for it okay still exactly the same phone yep except it might be in Chinese when you get it I've had that happen I haven't had quite that happen before but they

provide instructions on how to change it to English yeah most widely read language in the world boys you should just get on that not by me mate I can barely read English I live in America I speak Spanish yeah that's right yeah so that was my eventual shopping trip this week where I got in a lot of trouble because so I know uh luk I know that you're not in charge of your your own money and that you have a joint account and then your wife gives you pocket money does she give you enough pocket money to buy a $1,500 phone no it was sort of a oh crap um cuz I got kogan set up with my PayPal account right and so PayPal will getting moreish you got take the money well no that's the thing it accidentally typed in my PayPal password and confir

no that's the thing I was expecting it to go to PayPal actually Luke in your defense I think you can set up Paypal to just yeah automatically do it no you're right cuz you know how sometimes when you buy something and it's PayPal you get to pay after delivery and you get like that 21 days to pay what I've never okay so PayPal have this thing where you can pay now and then they'll only deduct the money 21 days later huh jokes on I'm committing suicide in 2 weeks I was trying to see if that was going to be thing cuz I was going to plan it out go look if I work some overtime I can probably afford the phone in a couple of months time I was just seeing if they had that feature but when I hit the buy button it just purchased the phone I to go Hanah can you please

transfer me $1,500 for a phone and she's going to get my old one so just to be clear you did purposely click the buy button yes but didn't think it would buy it you you thought it would give you other options I thought cuz when I know when you normally hit buy with PayPal it normally takes you to the PayPal site yeah that is expecting that that's fair he's not wrong but I am suspicious it was an accident I promise but if you don't want the phone and you have to have Hannah transfer you that money why don't you just let it default on the payment cuz def faulting looks bad does look bad and plus the payment went default the payment will still go to kogan and then I'll just be in debt to PayPal and PayPal get upset about that

you can't imagine why wellard so this is not like that time you flew to La for a couple of days and then stayed for 2 weeks this is nothing like that this is different to me this is different I imagine she's probably got the same expression on her face so I I shouldn't be playing this jingle while the other brothers are doing time listen upo it's [ __ ] crime there was no crime no crime but I I I think her reaction probably would have been the same then as it was for this yeah probably but did you say you're passing her the old phone yes I am yeah I don't think that's you're going to be doing her phone her phone's dying at the moment so yeah if she's going to have to give you this money I think she's she's going to demand the new phone well well

my old my phone's cuz I've currently got it's only like 6 months old it's fine that's what that's probably what she's going to tell you oh dear I'm jering your phone H don't know what I'm going to do yet get a pixel 3 XL definitely not going to do I'm going to get an iPhone of some sort just not sure which one there's options there's not normally options you know well and then there were two options and then there were no options again and now there's three options like what the hell yeah but are they really options though yeah yeah I think the XR might be uh might be enough hey get an Android have some fun live on the edge try something new I tried an Android before it was [ __ ] annoying everything else I have is Apple sick of knowing how to do

everything try Android and get confused no no no you can just set it up the way you want instead of having Apple tell you how you want that's the thing you have to set it up the way you want Apple knows how you [ __ ] want it it's got the best way and that's the only way you can do it and then you just is it the best way though just use the phone just use it I mean that's their thing with computer too don't know about computers don't worry just use it yeah I I still don't think you're going to Wi me over to ah that thing Apple well I I remember the time that you and I went into Burger King and you you stood in a line that wasn't a line and you stood there and demanded it become a line um a line you were still there demanding it become a line after

we had been in the line gotten to the front of the line gotten served taken our food outside eaten our food come back and to try to convince you to leave and then left so they served me the fact that you're sticking to your guns on this despite clear better product is not surprising to me at all well good luck I would say with your new phone and your new wife that you'll be needing well I need to now buy accessories for it now for the new yeah yeah no for the new phone well I need to buy a cover for it and also it's it's got wireless charging so I got to get the wireless charger so the pixel 3 doesn't take the same thought into this phone you don't want yeah that's right well I had to look into it after it what

and need a different charger to the previous version as well no no no I can just the pixel 2 didn't have wireless charging but the pixel 3 does so I'm going to pick up a wireless charger okay okay I love wireless charging is great yeah is that why you pretended to accidentally buy this phone yeah yeah it was an accident new iPhone's wireless charging too just saying yeah it does well my my other phone my last phone before the pixel had it that's why it was very strange when the pixel 2 didn't have wireless charging cuz that's not new no no been around for a bit I remember I once bought a wireless it was a it said you could charge a non wireless device with this pad like you plug it into the phone say and then you sit the phone on the pad and then it charges but when I

got it uh it was enormous and it was basically like you had to plug the phone into a second de to put on your desk and I was like what the fu how in any [ __ ] way is this Wireless if I've got to plug this giant thing into my phone and then sit it on this other giant thing it was ridiculous it's come a long way you paid money for it oh I did I did they were happy it's in the trash now look we may have come a long way but there's all [ __ ] cords on my desk still just saying true oh I still prefer cords yeah I got to plug everything else in might as well plug my phone in like Wi-Fi I still hate really I don't use uh well I I have a I have a mesh Network we've talked about this before and we have a mesh Network at work now I don't use wired networking anymore you should

Fe your Xbox why cuz it's better my mesh Network pretty fast yeah but trust me it's better to be plugged in okay there's less chance of interference and all that crap and yeah if you're playing online when when do you play the when how does that help I play online all the time all right fine just not with people people you guys been playing anything this week I went back and played Fallout 4 really okay yeah cuz I realized I hadn't actually finished it so I went and finished it oh I haven't finished it either actually you mention it yeah Fallout six got me sort of a taste for a Fallout game again so yeah this week sorry 76 Fallout 76 I was like not only has there been a Fallout five I missed but they're also up to six it didn't

didn't cut it for you apparently well they've youve we've missed 72 of them according to the new game yeah that's true but then again we're playing it on the Xbox one which is the Third Xbox so we shouldn't really be surprised that's true and what Luke's playing your you're playing yours on the Xbox One X which is the fourth Xbox right yes no to be fifth no theox one ran numeral 10 cuz there was the original Xbox then there was the Xbox 360 Yes MH and there was the Xbox 360 slim oh yeah we're counting those then Xbox One Xbox One S Xbox One S and then Xbox One X so it's the sixth one mhm okay isn't there

a new Xbox One S though what there two generations of that thing as well you know what forget it I don't know I know there I'm still hoping the room is true and there's a new Xbox coming out next year that's dis plus well that's not going to do me any CU I still have a bunch of games on discs well the rumor is that when you buy this one you can also take in your games and they'll give you a code for them yeah it definitely sounds like a rumor yeah I mean it's I was going to say that's what people said about D and D Beyond and that didn't happen but then DNB On's a different company so I mean Microsoft might be able to pull that off but okay I just have to work out a way to play nice with um game stores yes cuz they can't piss them off

too much already have well game sell secondhand on oh right but you're saying that there's no discs that'll just kill that whole Market yeah yeah you're right it literally would wouldn't it okay fair enough well they'll just be gift card stores from now on in theory I think that's what they should do H well I I've played uh I've been playing a bunch of crash lands again this week on the switch but I've also on my iPad gotten into a bunch of adventure games that I discovered that are now available on there and one of them which is a game I've been mean to play for a long time is a game called primordia mhm you ever heard of it no I have not okay it's a little indie game by W feeling I purchased this on Steam

and never played it it's definitely a game that I could imagine you would go ooh and and buy it like it's an old school Adventure game point and click adventure game and it's got like a kind of post-apocalyptic robot Vibe you play every everyone's robot in humans are gone at this point and it's just all robots in in this Wasteland and you play as um Horatio man built sorry htio null built man okay the robot surnames are who built them and then built and it's it's it's quite a neat little world and I think yeah it's ratio null built because he doesn't know who built who built him but you you've built this guy I forget his name now krisen and so his name's krispen htio built and

so all the characters in it have names like that and basically you you've got a ship called the unique out in the [ __ ] dunes and then a big robot bursts in and steals your power core and you've got to get it back and it's a point and click adventure game and it's [ __ ] excellent and I finished it last night sounds excellent I finished it last night and it's got it must be like 20 30 endings depending on specific things that happen in the game cuz there's there's things that you do it and then you can only do it once and and and I'm like oh I [ __ ] that up and then I you try to do it again it's like no you can't do it again so you would have to replay it to just do that little little thing you can still finish the game but there's just little pieces of

it that change the story that there's only an opportunity you know once or twice to do them it's quite clever that way like I'm not going to do it because I don't have time but it is it's like a neat little feature so but yeah Prim audio uh I recommend it highly it it was a lot of fun yeah I'll check it out for sure yeah I'm almost positive I have it yeah and yeah it wouldn't surprise me and it's uh the same publisher as uh have you seen the the Blackwell games Blackwell Legacy and uh and I also have which I started last night after I finished this Gemini Rue which is by the same publisher not the same team but the same publisher uh which is also an adventure game so I'm just I'm just like oh man all these games are on iPad and also I got I picked up the day of the tentacle

remake and Full Throttle remakes which I haven't played them yet but I'm just I'm on an adventure game binge at the moment so no man I feel you I am too I've just been I've had my scum VM open at work and just in the background been playing Lucas Sal games play through the Dig man that's still [ __ ] hard the Dig is fantastic that's what I feel man even when you know what to do in the Dig it's that [ __ ] Turtle puzzle shits me every time yeah that's difficult I can never remember what way that stupid tail is supposed to go yeah yeah that's right yeah it took me a couple of goes and uh and just a couple of the couple of the little technical puzzles that don't see even when I get them right I'm still not sure how I've done it you know what I really want to play

the Dig I'm buying it right now somehow I don't own it I remember being a teenager my friend had the Dig and he just showed me the start of it you know the like intro in the first first 10 minutes of it and it blew my mind yeah man I know I know it's a [ __ ] fantastic game dig and Full Throttle I need to play that Full Throttle is a great game if you don't mind not playing much game see I've never played they were the first sort that was the first one where it's sort of yeah it's not a game so much as a story that you interact with sometimes starring Mark haml am I right I think oh you could be right yeah think Mark ham is the voice of the main character speaking of uh stories that you watch in L play I've pushed on a little bit with call of cthulu which uh

look I'm really enjoying it um it hasn't improved too much in terms of gaml and it went from super easy to a super hard bit that I had to do like 40 times in a row um for want of dying but uh but [ __ ] you know just I'm in the funking lovecraftian world and I'm I'm loving it I'm going have to check it out I haven't turned my Xbox on this week at all been playing my I've been playing my switch my iPad a lot you know I don't even have an iPad anymore h no I got rid of mine years ago and I've just never thought of replacing it I like it yeah I can't imagine myself wanting one H well see I don't I I think uh next time I buy a computer it's not going to be a laptop

cuz I don't use this thing anywhere that's not this room so it doesn't need to be a laptop and I just have my iPad floating around the house with me yeah well my work computer and my home computer are one and the same so I I need to be portable and I guess if you've got a laptop that goes everywhere with you you you never really want to yeah a tablet see I don't do that only because with with work I don't want to I mean I'm not I don't not that I think this would happen but if you if you create something on work Hardware they potentially take ownership of it and I mean not that they would want [ __ ] this show or whatever the hell else say sorry guys my work now owns you guys yeah Le gasm is is no longer owned by us I'm afraid so yes so know I I maintain two separate

computers for that but just just CU yeah no that sounds like the kind of paranoia that you usually you usually maintain yeah yeah that's me a healthy paranoia never heard anyone mhm look we touched on Lucas Arts games uh very briefly when talking about the Dig and uh and full throttle and I want to just continue on on this thread Matt are you able to play us the George Lucas news jingle absolutely I think as long as it's in this thing I got this new um like it's a new piece of software this it's been a while now to to play the jingles uh and it's like you know it looked really easy it's kind of like a you know like a real radio station would have and then you start the problem is

still got that you sure I thought it was a package the rights he sold the rights to Star Wars I know that ilm is in the same building as Disney but I don't know what the ownership uh situation is there you know who's like number three behind him though Steven Spielberg $3.7 billion and I re well don't forget money from he owns back backend points of Star Wars he swapped 10 10% of Star Wars for 10% of um Close Encounters yeah right I remember he made a great deal there yeah he did that's right well to be honest George Lucas I think did it to cheer him up because uh Spielberg was working sucks no it doesn't suck it's [ __ ] excellent and um Spiel but at a certain point Steven was like oh what am I doing does anyone even want to watch a movie about you know aliens with a you know a musical D

think we do at some point we're going to be approached by some big Corporation they're going to offer to buy the show off us that's I mean that's been my goal this whole time true and we sell out right away if there's one thing I've always learned is always take the first offer yes Snapchat always take the first offer you will never be worth that again yeah um I watched a movie last night and it was glor before you tell us about his movie is is there any jingle we need to play before you tell us about this movie of course there is well Nick Cage walked into the room and he asked of his manager is there any Nick Cage news Nick Cage's manager turned to Nick Cage and said of course there's Nick Cage news Nick Cage is the biggest movie star in the whole wide world and things are

only going to get bigger now take a look at this script right here it's about a manm made of wicker so this film stars obviously Nick Cage and it's a film I've been wanting to watch for a very long time when I I when I first saw the trailer for it I was like [ __ ] yeah and it came out on shutter this month which is the horror streaming service we subscribe to it's called the film is called Mandy and it is a story of a couple who live out in the woods and an evil cult uh attempts to take his wife take Nicholas Cage's wife and he uh seeks revenge he wants none of that he wants none of that exactly so well I'd uh I'd watch it it is directed

by uh what's the gentleman's name it's the guy who did Bey on the black rainbow um oh Christ right so right off the bat uh yeah yeah so it was a Trippy psychedelic nightmare was it it's [ __ ] wonderful yeah the director is Panos cosmatos is his name Y and uh it is a [ __ ] nightmare of like just it's like watching imagine you had a dream when Nick Cage was like trying to hunt down and kill [ __ ] an evil cult and like actual demons and it was all like it looked like everything was pink and and blue and and H it's like we got like halfway through it and Jenna said to me this is what Rob Zombie wishes his films were

like yeah yeah well beyond the black rainbow was visually stunning but it was a little slow paced was this one an improvement did this go a little bit more mainstream in its pacing and story structure I think so yeah I mean it is a bit slow but I was just so kind of enamored with it that I maybe didn't notice so I mean you may have you know your mileage may vary listeners but I just really loved it so I mean check it out it it's violent and gory so if that's not your thing maybe don't but uh if if you're looking for something different uh with a you know kind of a Revenge horror kind of theme [ __ ] check it out it's great it's got some weird [ __ ] in there though it's kind of like like a little bit David Lynch I guess although the plot makes more sense

than I think a David Lynch film generally does so yeah yeah yeah yeah starting to talk me out of it come on okay uh well I'm trying to think what else can I compare it to it's just really like I said it just feels like you're watching a a nightmare uh yeah I'm in you know and there's you know there's lights where there shouldn't be lights but you just kind of like it doesn't matter you know that kind of thing like Evil Dead almost Spotlight in the woods with smoke ex there's a lot of that like literally there is a lot of that and yeah I loved it you know and then you know someone just standing there looking at standing admiring a car that's on fire for no reason other than when they fight in front of the car it's going to be [ __ ] awesome and if you've ever

wanted to see Nicholas Cage have a chainsaw fight with another guy I this is the film for you just watch the movie Dan I'm buying a ticket right now just do it that's great no no I will put that on top of my list I watched a horror movie this week called the farm have you heard of that Farm sounds riveting yeah look actually it had all the Hallmarks of a good movie but it wasn't a good movie um yeah and you could tell that the guys that made this had had good taste in in movies you know like they they'd stolen from the best you know this was like a little bit House of a Thousand Corpses a little bit Texas chains Massacre um yeah a little bit hosel not that hostel is the best but you know like it was just it had a lot a lot going for it but in the end it kind

of just fell apart damn yeah yeah [ __ ] beautifully shot though it's about these people this couple it's like nice couple who are on a road trip through uh through the the desert somewhere in the middle of America um and they stop at this BNB where they're um accosted and uh put into this Farm where human beings are farmed like farm animals by other human beings in farm masks nice yeah so like it's got good imagery and it's beautifully shot and um there's some you know some some good some good gory bits but uh doesn't really give you anything that I'm sure in a year's time I'll be like what was the name of that movie I think I saw a movie did I did I watch it or did I just see a trailer you know what I mean it's

just not going to just not going to stick in my mind yeah speaking of trailers though oh yes what trailer did we all watch that I didn't realize that I'm making a new Hellboy yes they are they have and I was excited about it until I saw the trailer um so this is is this a sequel that they're pretending is like a direct sequel or they pretending a reboot cuz I'm confused it looks like a reboot cuz it looks [ __ ] nothing nothing like the other movies tonally speaking but but I know but they're trying to make Hellboy look like the the other Hellboy well that's what he looks like I think the problem that the problem is that Ron pman just looks like Hellboy looks so it's going to seem like that but is it just me or I mean I found this too

distracting to notice other things in the trailer the [ __ ] Prosthetics look awful oh his little hand what the [ __ ] it's oh there's so many little things about it that little things that it just we also admit they picked the wrong music for that trailer oh man it looks like they're trying to make a parody film I think somebody watched Daredevil and uh not Daredevil [ __ ] Deadpool and um was taking notes even to the point where they're like little hands are hilarious he's he doesn't have a little and I know that it's just it's a result of they've put two like [ __ ] Dave Harbor right it's the guy from Strang things Dave Harbor the guy plays sheriff for listeners who don't know right he's he he's he's a good size and

and shape to to kind of you know he could have been Hellboy but they've put so much [ __ ] latex on him like he doesn't even look it doesn't move when he talks like it looks awful like if you look at look at photos of it it looks it looks really bad and maybe they rushed the trailer and they haven't finished all the effects and it'll look good by the time comes out but they've built him up so much and he's got the big the big right hand the big stone hand that Hellboy has but he's got this little his other hand's normal but they've built him up so much it looks ridiculous it looks like he's got a little little hand instead of one big hand like it's so weird it it looks like an odd film looks very odd I I was still

curious to to give it a watch when it comes out but I'm going to watch it obviously yeah because it's Hellboy I love Hellboy but I'm just not EXC but then maybe that's good cuz usually you know if I get too excited about something it sucks so maybe this will pleasantly surprise me also true also true then again the first one the G Del tor was so good I mean it isn't it isn't fantastic it's not per it's no Perfect film that's for sure but it is Thoroughly enjoyable yeah now Matt you did bring up Evil Dead earlier oh yeah I do that from both we've both given money to the Evil Dead Kickstarter yes have you seen the fact that there's still a slim chance we might get our game yeah we talked to the company that the Name Escapes me the company that is potentially taking it over at packs

unplugged ah you did yes so it's not not definite but there is a chance that the company that makes there's another I think there's an Army of Darkness board game and they make the new Buffy board game I'm blanking on the name of the company but uh um I know it's jzo and lavender who are the people behind it okay well they're they're potentially going to take over and try and get the games made yeah so have you heard what they're trying to do no no no actually spefic they're going to be doing another Kickstarter we already back to Kickstarter yeah yeah yeah but no no no you don't have to back anything for this one if this Kickstarter successful everyone will get a copy of the game okay so they're asking for so much money from this round of kickstarters that

very close together and never actually I guess got any of the games finished and shipped out and then they just went bankrupt and nobody's getting anything basically and I think the thing that's pissing a lot of people off including me the most is the fact that they haven't come out and said anything to say look sorry hear like they they had six months ago they attempted to run uh another funding round on some platform where you could just go and invest like they were looking for you know kind of like Angel Investors on this platform uh and they announced it to they said there was there was a big surprise coming and then everyone got all excited because they're like oh we're finally going to get our [ __ ] games what a surprise and then

they're like no we need more money and so they they said oh we're looking for investors so they put up this thing and then the whole thing was overrun with with posts from people who back the kickstarter saying don't invest in this company they're [ __ ] full of [ __ ] they've gone bankrupt and so that that went nowhere and then they've been absolutely silent since then mhm well no I came out and said sorry it didn't quite work we'll be back in a couple of weeks and that was I think May or something this year but yeah if they just came out and went look sorry things went wrong sorry just sorry clearly and send me my dice well then the I mean we shouldn't I don't want to [ __ ] it the the head of space goat was was embroiled in some sort of sexual harassment

she realized actually that um that he was just using her for for what for what I'm glad you asked I'm glad you asked um using her for Life Energy to allow him to become corporeal on this plan of existence right you see if you let a ghost get close enough to you it can start feeding off your energy according to this woman and um and that's what uh that's what Captain Jack was doing to her she had genuine but uh in the video the the photo which I'm guessing is the standing for the ghost she's going to marry it's Jack Sparrow yeah yeah yeah I think that's who she was imagining when she uh made all this [ __ ] up I think possibly she she discovered that no one was paying any attention to her anymore and

so she decided to uh MH to to do this yes well she's been in hospital uh because she's just had no energy uh right since Captain Jack has been uh draining it um I'm sure the media attention has re-energized her somewhat yeah but unfort these two kids can't make it no one can and and just like just like every abusive husband I mean he's been really trying to make sure that she couldn't leave him um so she said this quote he did everything thing he possibly could to prevent me from finding out what he was really doing like if I was talking to someone the call would drop out if I'd had a bad day and I was going to meet up with a friend uh then suddenly that friend didn't want to meet me unquote so I think possibly people were hanging

up and ghosting yeah yeah that's right in the in the in in the social sense yeah yeah that's right yeah because she sh about her 300y old husband have you guys heard of orbiting uh is that where you kind of just walk around someone in a circle sort of it's when you do that but online so orbiting is like you know ghosting is when you just totally [ __ ] ignore someone online right sure that you that you previously have been paying attention to orbiting is when you stop talking to them but keep liking their posts so they know you're still there looking but you're not actually saying anything that's orbiting yeah yeah that's I I do that to everyone yeah right in case you're wondering people I'm not orbiting you

H rocketed over from the other side of the room and just like quickly put herself in between him and I and did the biggest subject change that you could possibly imagine and then later in the car she was like oh by the way his first wife didn't leave him she died and she's like and I and I knew you were going to be like yeah [ __ ] high five [ __ ] divorce People First Wives at Hunts and she was right I would you you don't deserve way yeah yeah saved your ass yeah although that would have been a great story I mean it still is a great story so excuse me Luke you'd marry the ghost of Carrie Fisher but would you have married the human being of Carrie Fisher when she was still alive or are you hoping that the ghost of krie Fisher is like

Carrie fiser at 19 years of age I I still even Carrie fiser at the towards the end yep toward not at the end towards not at the end at the end's getting a bit weird because she was in hospital dying like yeah yeah so like um what's that movie she was in with Rick m uh cuz I I thought by even that era she was kind of past past me being interested in it scream share medication we'd get along scream three carry Fisher where she's just smoking it up in the [ __ ] yes archives of the film uh let's be honest though not everyone brought their aame to Scream 3 I liked that movie at including the writers yes I liked it at the time yeah I liked it at the time too I don't remember Scream 3 what happens in that

one that's the one where her brother don't remember that she has her brother yeah sorry spoilers for Scream 3 if you haven't watched that film that came out an actress who got gang raped by a bunch of producers Scream 3 [ __ ] what am I thinking of I have no idea scen is more is about the same thing the others are about a guy in the ghost face mask killing people and it turns out that's Sydney's brother at the end and again sorry spoilers and then it's got you know all the same people from the other films well then how come there's an article here how come when I Google Scream 3 gang rape it comes up Scream 3 foreshadowed Hollywoods #me too movement oh you know what it maybe maybe that did

happen as a subplot I just didn't pay attention to that plot CU you know the murder was more interesting I don't know maybe possible possible I don't know what you're trying to say by that that I was like more interested in the rape I'm not trying to I'm not trying to say anything again Jesus maybe we all need to go back and watch this movie man I do not come across well in this episode at all I think Dan Dan's gagging to watch it I'm definitely going to watch it again watch it every Friday yeah you didn't remember there was any murder in it though strange I'm not saying I don't remember Ghost Face Killer murdering anyone know I know I know speaking of murderer mhm oh yeah sure um M have you ever made a murderer not that I'm aware of I guess

it's possible no I don't think I have I do tend to uh have odd interactions with people sometimes yeah look we we have talked uh a little bit lately about making a murderous season 2 um you know it's high points and low points mhm it's a very interesting series but it is also incredibly sensationalist um to the point now where and I I am surprised it took this long but uh the lawsuits are are starting to roll in now people they didn't the first season somehow now they finally like [ __ ] you painted incredibly poorly by this documentary um are are finally just saying uh yeah this is deformation yes yeah yeah well so curn right the sheriff's deputy

is Deputy I think look and and and if you only watch making a murderer especially the first season and you don't read anything else about it then yeah you'll be like yeah that guy's a [ __ ] and he deserves everything he got but um what what making a murderer leave out of both seasons is the overwhelming evidence that you know made Court after court and judge after judge Steve Avery murdered yeah what's name right yeah yeah yes so it's not as clear-cut as they make it appear in the uh in the documentary and yeah um also the idea that that these small town cops managed to pull off such a convoluted conspiracy he a a little Fetch and also if they wanted to get this guy they just would have shot him well then the the it can you play the [ __ ] crimes

jingle show play it again where is it while the other brothers are doing up Crim only like Kathleen zelner right his Steve 's new attorney her job is to get him out of prison and she's trying really hard to do that but I just cannot make sense of any of this [ __ ] Theory right that that yeah okay so now they're saying Bobby dassy [ __ ] killed her so how are the cops involved now then like what oh because they just wanted Steve Avery to make this lawsuit against him go I I I don't know man this is getting [ __ ] convoluted yeah maybe he just killed her yeah and look the biggest thing that they're trying to go for because it's jury is reasonable doubt and if they try and spin that enough if there's enough doubt enough people seen this show it can actually turn juries to not be able

to make a decision right absolutely yeah see and I mean look it's it's possible he didn't maybe he didn't also I don't think it I don't think it happened the way that the documentary making out where it definitely didn't happen like that you have to make so many massive assumptions in order to believe this story and I'm not saying that the story that the prosecutors came out with is the full and correct and true story I'm not saying that because you know when you're doing an investigation you just bring forth the facts that are going to prove your case right yes and once you commit to a a you're saying this guy did it right you're going get one shot at it right so you've got to [ __ ] make it count so like if he gets out that's it case is done

like they're not going to arrest anyone else in theory right yeah well they're going to stop looking right exactly like if if he wasn't found guilty they don't get to go oh maybe it was this guy you know what I mean so they they had to convict him at that point well they they can if they do think it is someone else I'm not sure that's the case but they only try to no no you can't try the same person for the same crime twice but you can try other people you can't you're well you can't try someone for the same crime you've already incarcerated someone for who's currently still incarcerated you can't be like this other guy might have done it too put him in jail as well like for example the West Memphis 3 right they're out now

but they were still guilty as far as the law is concerned they can't now convict someone else of those murders as far as I'm aware it's not possible the case is cor well yeah because they found someone who did it but if someone's found guilty then they can accuse someone else okay oh I see what you're saying I see what you're saying yeah but someone was found guilty correct Steven A oh so you're saying if if he gets exonerated like officially they could yeah yeah okay fair enough could but why would they well ex if they don't think yeah they're not going to go well that one didn't work we'll just pick this guy man I think most of these people wish they just hadn't even [ __ ] like done anything to let this

get any attention you know what I mean like like in season 2 is all about the the retrials and the um the the appeals and stuff and I bet the da of of you know manok county is just now going [ __ ] I should have just let him have their [ __ ] appeal because like now I just look like a [ __ ] idiot yeah yeah they they're they're smearing people left Ryan Center but that's because they're trying to get him out of prison like but I still find it weird like if the cops were out to get Avery why would they murder someone frame him for the murder when they could just murder him I think the the they're not saying that because that's ridiculous I think what they're trying to imply now is that she was murdered by somebody and the cops were just like

let's just say he did it which is also ridiculous like I mean it's going to take a lot to convince me of that you know and they've not done a good job because after the first season I might have been convinced if if there'd been a little like I was like I was like oh okay wow what a what a what a what a thing to have happened after the second season I'm like they've got no [ __ ] idea they're just trying to get him out of prison they're all over the place it's a mess now it's just because they went everyone like the first one we can just make a sick one and make more money like it's still fascinating to me but also I'm just like everyone's making money off of this yeah no I agree lawers I dipped back into the staircase too um this week although I

haven't watched the the episode so no spoilers please um cuz there's three episodes if if if you had watched it previously You Haven't Seen the Last 3 hours of it uh so that's that's where I was at I do think it's a little cheeky that Netflix can take a show made in 2005 and call it a Netflix original because they put a little bit on the end they just put a couple episodes on the end there yeah but uh Netflix do that with a lot of shows that's a good series though this day yeah it really is and I really really enjoyed it when I was watching it the first time it um even better than making a murder I think in terms of just watching how how the police put a case together and how you have to defend yourself um which is really good for that and I actually

although I've got one more episode to go but I'll say this I don't know if he did it or not I'm I'm like I just don't know I'm I'm I'm with you there yeah no idea I mean I want to think he didn't because like he's a good dad you know I mean sure and he seems like a nice guy but like if he [ __ ] didn't then I don't know who [ __ ] did because there is again I I'm looking this this if I tell you stuff that's not in the documentary at all is that going to spoil it for you that's fine it's just a it's just a fact this is I I'll just tell you one fact that is completely left out of the whole series yeah they were in I think 400,000 worth of credit card debt that's just a fact that that is

left out of the documentary yeah yeah they're not now she she was insured just saying right just saying okay sure I like how they leave out like little facts like that yeah I mean I'm not saying he did it I'm just saying that's a fact that is left out of the yeah yeah just just saying yeah I mean it's it's it's like the it's like the fact that they left out of making a murderer that because you know the whole thing and especially the second season is all about how um Brendan dass's confession was coerced right and it's like no he confessed and it's like yeah he probably was coerced into confessing cuz actually that's how you get a confession that's what cops do to get you to confess nobody wants to confess they do trick you into think

trick you into saying it and what they what they leave out of that whole series one and two is that there was evidence that they only know about because of things he confessed yes and they focus on in the documentary I noticed that they focus on things that uh that don't make sense like they say oh they only got they only know that she was raped because he told them that but then the only the only reason they think she was raped at all is because he said that so that's that's like a it's just a circle but there are other things that he said like for example why the car was moved and and just certain other little things that that he said that I mean and look [ __ ] I wasn't there so I have no idea but there are the little facts that he

gave them that were true that that make him look more guilty and little connections like the fact that she was you know she she was handcuffed to the to the bed right right like and he was the one who brought up that they were handcuffs you know and that hadn't been part of it yet and then also there was apparently a drawing up in uh Steven Avery's cell when he was in prison of The Sex Dungeon that he planned to make when he got back to um torture and rape women like they didn't mention that one there are police reports uh from from a time when he he sexually assaulted a cousin of his I think or a niece actually maybe so he's not definitely not a harmless kind of yeah and they

really play down the time that she as in she the victim said that she didn't want to go back to his property because he' opened the door to her in the nude yeah that's right yeah you know they really like and just stepped out of the shower and just happened to [ __ ] have his dick in his hand when he opened the door see see when I've opened the door when I've just got out a shower I still have at least a towel around me yeah I don't really walk up but I've seen how you wear a towel there's a picture of it in my Snapchat uh there is and uh you know still wearing one that's what I imagine Steve Avery looked like when he opened that door exactly and look listeners I'm not I'm not a guilter I have no [ __ ] idea if he did it or not I have no idea no neither do I

yeah but I'm but neither do you listener neither do you no and the documentary makers certainly seem to want to make you think he's not guilty at any cost you do not might know you do not have enough information to know get almost maybe Avery listens to this podcast and he would know you like to listen to podcasts in prison I don't think you are you're not the internet I think you are these days the internet surely no no it depends what level of prison you're in someone could play raped and murdered somebody he's in maximum security allegedly allegedly allegedly yeah no wait we don't have to say allegedly we don't we don't have to say allegedly he has been convicted oh yeah true we can't be sued for it at we we know it to be true as far as far as we

know it's true so um we've just had Christmas well we haven't actually Christmas is day after tomorrow but if you're listening to this uh it's just been Christmas uh last week was a Christmas episode hope that that brought you some holiday cheer got a couple of bit of follow to Christmas news mhm yeah got couple couple of things um so there's one there's one here that's just I I find this funny um there's a town in Sweden that every single year build a huge wicker goat in the center of town yeah this thing's [ __ ] awesome yeah it looks [ __ ] gnarly and uh every single year vandals Burn It To The Ground Jesus uh and if you were wondering whether this year was an ex no it was not they burned this [ __ ] down they not have security for this

thing now well there's a fence around it but uh maybe someone shot a flaming arrow into it that's just a if you haven't looked they've got video they've got video for when it happened a couple years ago and all it is is a bunch of people run across the road set on fire and run away oh I can there's people with flaming somethings in this photo from the look of it yeah yeah and this looks like a professionally taken photo like what is oh anyway oh man thing goes up so good look are you watching the video yes I [Music] am oh my God just so metal about being in Scandinavia and burning a [ __ ] you turn the camera turns around

there's a church on fire yeah what they need to do is stop this like the there 27 so this is tradition they need to turn this into an event where it just yes they set it on fire it's almost like this this is the tradition now yeah imagine burn that big goat if it didn't get burned down it would be a disaster yeah that's right what are we going to do with this goat 27 years of this yeah you think after 27 years I would come up with an idea to stop it yeah what'll we do I build bu build the goat I don't know why they talk like that that's great no no no I want to hear more of that Swedish accent build the G and then see what happens but that's not all for Christmas news no there's

been Christmas has been ruined for a group of children forever forever for ever in a in a Russian School uh they were performing a a play I believe uh and one of the characters in the play was uh their version of Santa Claus uh named I'm trying to think of the name his name is dead Moro which means oh yeah dead Moro yes yeah grand grandfather Christmas or grandfather Frost yes so he basically looks like Santa Claus it's it's their Santa Claus he is Santa in fact the the main reason they don't mention in this article but I have a Russian friend who told me that um during the Soviet Union which was um trying to be completely secular they outlawed all Christian iconography including Santa Claus oh there you go so basically they just they just

have Captain winter right right grandfather anual Gift Giver yeah well they uh they employed the services of a a gentleman a 67y old gentleman named Valerie tateno to uh to portray father Frost uh and in the middle of the play he collapsed of a heart attack and died and all of the children were laughing because they thought it was hilarious until it wasn't hilarious anymore until he didn't get back up because they had to rush him away in a hospital but he he was dead so yeah but it says a woman who was also in the play dressed as a clown rushed over and what kind of [ __ ] Nativity Play is [Laughter] this they do things different Al ever had a clown M they do things differently in

Russia uh that they do Merry Christmas kids terrifying never enjoy Christmas ever again I wonder if they explained the situation to the kids or if they just said oh he's he's he's gone to uh I don't know where they were going to say he's gone [ __ ] Santa Heaven yeah I think they going to say they yeah they took him away and then he got better it's Russia man they probably like uh he is now living and work in Camp in Gulag in Siberia Santa is in good place don't worry about Santa yeah no more Santa don't ask too many questions eat your gr get back in the breadline wait can we be sued by Russia I don't want to be sued by Putin [ __ ] that I don't think they by them they can they would just come after you they'll
