so we're going to welcome Dan back this week but straight off the Dan I'm so annoyed with you okay Jesus really annoyed we were talking during the week and you we were discussing new phones mhm I said I was going to get the pixel 4 XL you said you going to get the pixel 5 No I said I was going to get the pixel 4 a and then you said you might want to check out the pixel 5 five and then we both sort of talked each other into the five mhm mhm I then purchased the five I then went into the store did I had the five in one hand the 4 a in the other hand the five wasn't giving me anything the 4 a wasn't going to give me and the 4 a was going to give me a headphone jack so it was a no-brainer I'm so annoyed why talk me into the five and then don't get it twice the price but

I'm pretty happy with my 4 a welcome to multiple nerdgasm with your hosts Matt Luke and Dan multiple nerdgasm your guide to All Things Nery so Luke are you happy with your five um I'm it's taking some getting used to cuz it is smaller than I'm used to oh so down size um and that's why I was getting the four the I was going to get the four XL just because last year B it's going to be cheaper and and it does have that size but oh that's what D did

price that's what you did the price the price didn't actually the price didn't actually drop right so I was get the XL as it was going to get me for the five you know what you should have done then you should have gotten the 4 a 5G model which is a good inch wider than the regular 4A oh it's it's got the girth it's not really it's it's length I'm really going for this is gonna be one of those sensored segments again no it is one of those hard I'm having trouble typing on it just because it feels small small your hand and he's having something a bit bigger yeah well I've got small hands so it looks looks quite big when I hold it um but the most that's why I've always liked hanging out with you Dan yeah yeah you're welcome

you're welcome um the most noteworthy part about all of this of course is the fact that I have bought a phone that is not an apple because apple and I have gone our separate ways to be fair you two have been fighting for a few years for a long time right it was a toxic any they would do something you wouldn't like it and you say this is it this is the last time and then You' stick with them then they do it again I haven't been happy for a while and I finally got the courage to just walk away is this your first Android phone yeah yeah yeah I had iPhone since the first gen that came out in Australia which was I think G4 and then uh yeah it's the only smartphone I've ever had so there is some uh some getting used to for sure for sure but I am

enjoying uh I'm enjoying it's is exactly the same as last month when I got rid of my Mac and I got a PC it's an absolute pain in the ass cuz I got to learn everything but yeah I am enjoying the control that I have over everything ma is like do what our way no he's just refused to talk to us now yeah mt's like you know what [ __ ] you yeah just got to hang up on us and leave no sorry I Discord was like you know what I'm going to reload I'm still here I'm still here I can hear you we we can't see you at the moment though um I'm I can see a beautiful picture of you at the beach but I knew you went to the beach yesterday and that's not it no different country I went to the beach last I'm back I apologize no that's all right no

to apologize see no even I'm getting used to they've made some changes from this one even from the three like even from where you're swiping back and up and stuff and I'm still trying to get used to that but Android for a while now you can set it up to just be like the three only the reason why I like the pixels is basically just they're a great camera the camera is beautiful beautiful I did tests side by side comparisons with my old iPhone and there's just there's just no comparing the two really I mean literally I did compare the two of course I don't really know why that's an idiom but uh yeah it's way better that's the thing the only thing I think you really need in in a phone these days is does it take good photos really for everything else like you're

not really playing I don't well for me I don't play a lot of games I don't play any games on the phone a message app will work on any phone ever and I check email and go shopping the big thing is a good camera no phone calls I don't know why they still call them phones you know what's funny I I hate it with my phone rings same and and I actually cuz I'm in a new country now I mean my old country Australia you're in Australia but what I mean is I haven't been here for a while one of the newest countries yeah it's one of the yeah it's 200 years old mate if you ask the white people um quite considerably older if you ask the aboriginals um but I have had to make phone calls here get my [ __ ] electricity set up get my internet set up like I'm using the phone as a phone

more than I ever have yeah yeah that was the funny thing I had to for my electricity no I could just do that all on the line my internet I had to call and talk to someone that's just the most backwards thing like you give me internet let me sign up online yeah I we were we're with the same provider so I I I had to do the same thing mhm I have found that that calling gets you potentially better deals and stuff too so there are benefits to to pick what one of those things especially like um JB highi for instance you should always talk to the staff there when buying something because they will always do you a deal yeah if you're in JB highi and you don't talk to the staff and you just leave with something that's called stealing and they're going to come after

you no but it's so weird like if you actually just talk to them that they will quite happily knock 5% off or something that's anything yeah which I think's great I worked I was a sales person in a music store for a while like yeah you worked at h&v I worked at brashers MH mate neither of them neither of them exist anymore no but but 10 to 15% sure easy I don't even have to check with a manager yeah no if I like you I can just [ __ ] knock [ __ ] off if I say no you've looked at me funny or something because that's right that's right yeah I'm in a particularly bad mood and also if if something's got the wrong sticker on it I have to give it to you at the prices marked even if you put that sticker that out there yeah they don't no they don't do that

anymore now they go no piss off yeah yeah they get no this television doesn't cost $5 I've actually had someone when I worked at toy Ross I had someone try and do that once M there was a television there and they got a sign it was $10 sign put in front of this like $300 television they went no this is meant to be $10 no it's not the side say that the sign is for this toy over there like you're not getting it for $10 they got it for $10 I found this in the bargain B no you didn't yeah you didn't no you didn't you may have found it in there after you put it in there yeah well someone else might have but it didn't belong there and you know it cuz you knew you were aware cuz you thought you were getting this amazing deal if you could get away with this so

that's why you're so upset right now I had a boss once who got lazy and R stickered over sale prices with the regular price stickers and so we had a record number of people coming back going yeah I got this home I took the price tag off and apparently it's cheaper than what I paid for it and we're like well here's some money because we have to do that right so the stickers on there that's it that's funny yeah that's right well Apple I guess must have heard you were leaving and just to spite you they've announced some new phones although they haven't done a great job of enticing you I imagine with this they announced them the night before I bought my Google pixel so no they did not do a good job of enti I mean there's some

nice features in the you know like the the video uh what do you call it the HDR video and the um some odds and ends but I'm not very compelled either I'm probably not going to upgrade this year so man I didn't upgrade last year up until this 4 a I had the the iPhone x and I wasn't going to upgrade it except that I accidentally shut it in the door of my car and cracked the screen and that's the only reason I'm upgrading now is cuz I dropped my phone and I've got it this crack down the bottom of my old one so that's the only reason I'm just looking at the the new iPhone why why do you need half a terabyte of storage on your phone uh for photos and stuff I've got uh yeah I can't all my stuff on my phone see I've got no photos cuz I've got iCloud I

too most my stuff I just sto to the cloud and delete it from my phone yeah no no I have I have them in the iCloud as well but I don't know I have you know uh download music to it so I can use it offline and stuff I mean I don't have that model I've got the 256 gig I I've got 128 and I think that's fine 256 is okay I think half a terabyte 500 G is just far M we said this back in the day the first Mac I bought the first [ __ ] iMac had 11 gig of RAM and I was like I'm never going to fill this oh not R 11 gig of storage no I mean if you it depends on what you use your phone for I guess like if you use it you know for example if I'm traveling I'll put movies on there to watch on the plane so you need storage for that you know I guess it

just depends on on your preference and I I like to have a local copy of the photos in that anyway so just seems like a lot to me Matt takes the kind of pictures Luke that you don't want in the cloud you know you don't want someone accidentally having a a little cheeky look at them although as we've learned uh people are probably looking at my photos anyway they're looking at Jennifer Lawrence's photos so they're probably looking at mine I mean yeah but they they emailed Jennifer Lawrence and said what's your password and she told them so that's why I know I've stopped replying to those emails now I got today have they leaked your V video yet of you being intimate with

yourself while some context for the listeners please weren't they going to they going to going do something to your car as well weren't they that's right they were going to spray paint the the the picture of my dick onto my car spray painted picture of your dick on I know that that was a such a threat in a scam Emil so I got an email that said listeners that threatened to that they had filmed from my computer camera while I was you know jerking off to porn and they were going to release they're going to send it to all my friends if I didn't pay the money so well I guess if you guys haven't seen it then no we're either we're either not listed as friends in your contacts maybe we're listed as family I don't know yeah oh you just assumed I've

already seen this one so yeah I was like oh this is an old one yeah classic but uh yeah and yes they they threatened to uh I think the quote was something like nice dick uh bet it would look good spray painted on the hood of your car or something like that like I drive a truck I'll have you know that's right and it would look good on my truck it would look excellent these new phones have mag safe they're calling it mag safe remember mag safe the the old uh connector for the for the magc power magnetic yeah yeah yeah which they did away with NE that was quite yeah that was quite a neat feature well now the this these have it but it doesn't work the same way it kind of slaps on the back of the phone and you can stick like a wallet on the back with

this magnet and you can stick you know like uh cases that stick to it and that but do you do you think it's a good idea to stick your credit cards next to a giant magnet before I got when I had my pixel X when my had my last phone pixel 3 XL or pixel 2 XL I just had a case on it that I had my card in I us us to put it there and tap away and there was no issue yeah but was it the case held on with giant magnet that's what I'm saying um this the new iPhones have the mag I know very little about credit card technology but if there's one thing I do know is you're meant to keep them away from magnets yeah do you still need to though or is that something from 40 years ago that's a thing it could be you

could be right and I'm I mean look they've probably well hopefully they've tested this and some someone will let us know and actually for Australia it wouldn't be that big a thing could you just tap it anyway so cuz what used to go was the magnetic strip mhm yeah but if we sure you don't use that any point CU you have chips in them now too so maybe I don't know maybe it's not a thing but uh I don't know just just when when I saw it and they said oh it's mag safe I was like oh interesting and you can just kind of the power adapter Clips on the back and all that [ __ ] and I was like oh that's pretty cool I guess I'm not going to buy one just for that but then they showed that little wallet that clipped on the back and I was like that seems foolish but

okay and this one's not coming with a charger is it for the environment look better for the environment they don't anything is it this a new type of charger that they're also releasing this time um yeah it's like uh it's well they it can do wireless charging making you buy new peripherals is Apple's thing and you can't call them on it yeah it's still got a charging port like the old ones it's just yeah but is it is it is it a new charging port or is it the same old one they've been using for over it's got the old one and and it still has wireless charging which is what I use for mine I got a wireless charger on my bedside table um and it's also got magnets on the back so that the the charger at the back can stick on there so yep I think I can understand that

then for some reason I thought they were changing their charger port as well no that would be [ __ ] stupid because they should just change it to USBC they I was about to say it's not stupid they should make it the same as every other [ __ ] phone yeah stop making up their own proprietary cables I mean I think this still has a lightning charging port in the bottom I can't see any photos of the bottom on this article so care no I no I'm just interested now that you've said that Luke I just assumed that it would but anyway honestly I feel like I've escaped from a cult I feel like I've emancipated I mean it's just a f now you could and now from here you don't even have to go to a pixel for your next one you go to Samsung you can go you just go anywhere now I know yeah the computer

halfway in between Luke's house and my house so anytime we meet up now it's going to be in the quaint story book town of go at Easter when they reenact the crucifixion of Jesus which is my favorite thing that bar does that's they have a parade where somebody somebody gets cast as Jesus and has to dress up and carry a cross down the street that's fantastic that is absolutely fantastic I remember cuz I lived in uh Matt you lived right near me but I lived uh in warber mhm and um around that area like 150 years ago they shot a bush Ranger called Jack Donahue um so they used to have the Jack Donahue Festival every year where they would recreate the cops [ __ ] gun kill a criminal yeah yeah yeah mob Justice they do that all over the place

here not allowed to put up statues of it anymore as far as I can tell statues are coming down they down um but uh we were walking past a biker bar at one stage and a guy felt the need to come out of the bar to comment on Luke's hair and I thought at this point this could go either way either this is a cool dude who thinks Luke is a cool dude or we're about to get bashed just a very odd thing been a while since you've been bashed I imagine been ages been ages I reckon I could take it much better than I used to be able to take it you know was a actually I don't think I could so you didn't get bashed I mean it doesn't look like you got bashed you look fine no yeah you look the same I did do a lot of

shopping got a new hat brought a lot of lollies oh yeah we we had an incident in the Lolly shop um where loose you were told to look after me I'm sorry I'm getting this from you now too am I I um they all in the Lolly shop uh the girls left and Hannah turned to me and said make sure Luke doesn't do anything stupid and I was like what hold on like I don't want or can handle that kind of pressure I fely remember Luke being able to look after himself at one point I wonder know what's happened no but I'm I'm in I'm a candy store Matt like sure this is the exact place where you can guarantee Luca is going to misbehave we're just chatting as we're walking around around talking about the footy and then suddenly we start talking about the lollies we missed as a kid and

Luke says that he missed sherbet bottles and I said oh there some sherbet bottles right here and I pointed to a barrel of sherbet bottles um which Luke then picked up in its entirety and took to the counter and the guy there was like you want every single one look yes please yeah yeah okay I made him count them all s them to me how many were in there like 30 odd he said it was a new record of single items being sold in his store yeah and then as we left as we left we heard the old woman behind us say to him uh oh that was a good sale and the shopkeeper went it was an interesting sale did you get the barrel is the no damn I was like the least you could do is keep them in the

barrel so do you still have them or did you just eat them all as soon as you got outside I still have them how many are gone Luke be look I'll be honest I none yet that's not the the craziest thing Luke's done when I've been out with him so I was expecting I thought you I thought you were going to say he just ate them on the spot and then refused to pay for them because he didn't have his money or something like that he's call cops the ground with his dick out that's right yeah murdered somebody to get them but uh no okay sherbet bottles I'm not sure I even know what that is yeah you do the bottle full of sheret yeah you do if you saw it you'd remember it a tiny little plastic bottle like lid on it yeah full of sherbet if you consider just eating bags of sugar

syney now so I probably won't go there cuz I [ __ ] hate that place so what else has been going on I'm excited you want to give us some context there Luke or you want to just leave it at that and just just leave it at that I'm excited well it's like three weeks away to the new Xbox come I was going to say no no I was going to I was going to say Matt and I could look through the list and try to guess what you're most excited about it's oh well that's not even on the list okay it's not on the list okay so it's not going to be it's not going to be shy buff it's not going to be uh Elder Scrolls being an exclusive it's not going to be disco alium on the Game Boy I played that that the game boy version yes yeah I've only seen the screenshots looks

fantastic so some some guy has created a a Game Boy port of discoi sort of right it's quite it looks quite simplified but still [ __ ] amazing oh it's super simplified and I didn't play it on a Game Boy to be clear PC yeah but it's but you could play it on a Game Boy which is kind of the nice the coolest thing about it and you could you can when you're playing it you can imagine this could have been a game on the game I saw the screenshots and I was like this had come out yeah exactly blown people's minds we remember text adventures and games you know legend of the red dragon and all of those from back in the day and then they kind of went away and in a way disco elium is a text Adventure cuz there's so much [ __ ] text it's text adventure

with a bit of walking around as well yeah yeah um cuz there's no combat or anything is there none no not as so I mean there's there's there's action but you don't control it yeah mostly just dice rolls that are by your stats yeah you don't really do anything from click try and sometimes you it's a dice roll or you know a selection of a dialogue tree that's 30 or 40 minutes before you find out the consequences of it so you don't even remember you don't even know how you got there so good but what youit there still it's still in development for PlayStation switch and Xbox One so yeah I got an email the other day one day I got an email from them the other day saying uh they've got a new update it's the oneye anniversary actually y of disco alium and they said

they had console news so I opened it up expecting to have something to report for you this week Luke but no it was the Game Boy report oh so did they make it I thought someone else no no no someone else made it but they just kind of they just they reported it and made us think that it was coming to they said we got some very upset if they've been making this and not working on the Xbox one they just said the the subject line was um console news or part of part of the subject line was and I was oh I clicked went [ __ ] nuts yeah see well that's the thing Game Boy is not a console I mean it is but it's a handheld all right handh console it's a handheld console you're right Luke it's not long until we get the new Xbox uh I think yeah there's an election first and then

the Xbox that's my calendar for November yes so 3 weeks away I I can't believe it's so close um today Xbox Australia New Zealand posted some weird cryptic thing oh yeah just coordinance just said L it said Luke you go to the coordinance and it's just a warping Queenstown New Zealand and it's s of like everyone like do you expect us to go there like and no you don't not required to travel so then why do this interesting interesting coordinates [Laughter] yeah if they explode well then we can just cry and yeah but there is some

other interesting news so Phil Spencer did an interview yes and it was discussing like Xbox and Halo but the interesting one was when he was talking about Bethesda and they came out and just straight up asked a question like the wording was interesting and his answer was also interesting cuz it's kind of vague he was asked is it possible to recoup $7.5 billion investment if you sell ELD Scrolls 6 on the play and straight away he just goes yes if you if you do or you don't is it possible he said yes in other words possible if you sell it on Playstation so that that and that makes it sound like they will sell it on play yeah yeah I'll sell it to literally anyone who wants it if you is it possible you recoup 7.5 billion ver if you don't sell

elder scroll on the PlayStation don't sorry so he said yes but then he did go on to say look it's not about trying to stop people playing games still wants it to get out there so he wasn't saying like we're not going to sell on PlayStation or anything like that but what he did go on to say but what their bottle is is when I think where people are going to be playing their number of devices that we have we have xcloud PC game pass and our console base I don't have to ship those games on other platforms other than the platforms we support in order to kind of make the deal work for us right whatever that means well I think that means Sony's not getting them think cuz he's come out and said we don't want less people to play this game we want more people to play this game we

just want more people to buy Xbox not those people yeah not those people well there's another interesting thing that they've just uh Microsoft just done in America is to set up a deal with GameStop all right to do so game every time if gam s if GameStops sell uh Xbox any digital sales that that Xbox console does GameStop will get a cut oh so they're kind of saving them in a way it's kind of saving them and then also if you're GameStop and you got someone what what G what what game should I buy my nephew now what definitely going to be they'll be pushing the Xbox yeah right cuz that'll keep them in business yeah yeah cuz Sony's kind of gone in on the uh they they're not doing the Cloud

thing oh wait so does that does that count with that's if someone buys a game what about Game Pass do they get a cut of that as well or no no no I think it's the way of I've read it cuz they not there's not a lot of details about it but it's if they buy the actual console from them yeah yeah that console will be recorded a sale them that any digital sales onto that account from that Xbox will be so that would include Game Pass oh it includes Game Pass cuz otherwise that might have been the way that Microsoft was like oh yeah any any game they buy and then they just stopped selling games and yeah just streaming yeah well there are still people out there who don't have Game Pass who still just prefer just to buy a game I get that those people still exist yeah I

took I took a long time to get me to convince you guys to get Game Pass yeah it's true it's true yeah no absolutely mate I've got a game pass I don't even have an Xbox right now you should see that if you can put that on hold or something I have thought about it hey they've put your um your your stuff on hold yeah so apparently shipping is on hold worldwide right now well that's that's good news for you cuz you be wanting your stuff my has not even left Singapore yet apparently yeah far yeah really thought it'd be here by now hasn't left bumer B but yeah so at least I mean this isn't an explicit confirmation that you know these games aren't coming out on the PlayStation but I mean it says implicit

they do yeah and they they said he replied quickly so it's like he's thought about it like obviously well definitely this would have been something that was they would have thought about discussed during the sale absolutely I know some of the games that have already been announced and I I don't know what they are because they're not coming to Xbox like there was like a PlayStation exclusive or timed exclusive um death loop I think it was oh yeah that's still going to go to PlayStation 5 first so all those deals are in place but anything else that's sort of not been announced it's EV going to be a case by case decision interesting all right well I mean this doesn't we've got we're all Xbox so yeah I mean this yeah this doesn't make a huge amount of

difference for us but I know we have listeners who are enjoying their PlayStations so you know what I've noticed I've noticed that um shops have started putting their XBox One x's in the window and I almost did a double take the other day cuz I was like wait what and I think there are going to be a lot of Housewives who go who just see the X and just go oh [ __ ] the new one's out okay I'll just pick it up for my kid bu of pre-ordered the Xbox One X by accident and then received it and went what the [ __ ] yeah maybe they didn't notice I like [ __ ] I've just so early I've just got this before yeah before release I'm going to post I got to start a YouTube channel where I it looks great looks so

good good time to be a on on the Xbox platform I think I think so it's just getting better and better it's always a good time to be on the Xbox platform except for when another Uncharted or The Last of Us comes out then it's then it feels then you feel a bit F that's definitely true then uh the Spider-Man or they get some good games on the on the PlayStation they do like the Spider-Man I'm upset that yeah we didn't get that yeah you know what we do get we do get uh remasters of some classic games that uh I mean we've already replayed a bunch of times but we get to replay them again on uh on the Xbox and get achievements yes three classic adventure games that we all know and love data tental Full

Throttle and Grim Fandango yeah good games I I Hope they've put a little more gameplay into full throttle because that's basically just watching a movie and occasionally walking around I mean it does star Mark haml so it's not a bad movie certainly does yeah but no I'm pretty sure these are just a straight up remas they will look prettier they will sound better preter when I play '90s adventure games I want them to look exactly like they looked when I played them I I can't even play the VGA versions of the Sierra games they're just too nice I know what you mean then you might struggle with these one in I'm not going to play I didn't play the remastered monkey Islands I'm not going to play these I actually enjoyed the remastered

monkey especially because the fact you can just put the graphics back well I just replayed day of the tentacle recently on my iPad and I I put it in the old Graphics mode because the new one was just weird to me I play day of the tentacle every 5 years or so it's just always amazing it's a great game I don't want to play Grim Fango is a great game too I think for the remastered one they've um because the Grim Fango had a partially like actually orchestrated score uh but not fully and I think they've redone the whole thing for that so that'll be neat oh okay interesting and then Ian Full Throttle just Full Throttle but I have all these on my iPad already oh yeah I own them all about three times yeah and the they're all available on Gog you know if you own

them in the past you can just run them on the scum VM and yeah they're not they fantastic games I the Dig they should put out again but maybe there's some licensing reason they can't the how could it be a licing from a game that's that old I'm not sure but the fact that they haven't I mean why would they unless it's because I know I tell you how I tell you how cuz something to do it's it was Steven Spielberg's IP yeah that's what I was thinking some license with that probably yeah so it could it could be just something to do with Lucas Arts not having like imp perpetuity rights to to his IP a lot of actually comes down to the music yes the music in [ __ ] the Dig is on it's on another planet liter you know we talked recently about

the the issues with the Duke nuk music so I think particularly back in that era uh licensing deals were not thinking well people will still be playing this in 20 years yeah they didn't have the rights to no they didn't they didn't Dan because what happened is um 3D Realms right made Duke Nukem uh they purchased the right to use that music in the game fine gearbox purchased all the Duke Nukem IP re-released uh the original Duke Nukem 3D and G and then the the composer went oh I'll have money thanks because you don't own the rights to to redistribute that and then gearbox had to pay him a bunch of money well it's like uh it's like when a whole lot of TV shows reported a

DVD and then it was theic [ __ ] that up too everyone was like hold on there was no DVD yeah this contract and yeah yeah yeah Alan good with Alan Wake they were able to go and get all the music relicensed and so they were able to keep selling that I think it's actually on Game Pass at the moment as well there's there's some games that have even had to redo the The Voice soundtrack to re the lines cuz they they haven't had releases from the original voice artists yeah there's also a game that floating around where the the the artist who did the music has gone to court and the court has gone you're not allowed to bring this back to us anymore you sold the rights to this music they're using it as you kept putting

like copyright strikes on um oh God like twitch channels and YouTube channels that were streaming it and the developers God it's nothing to do with us it's just this this person just did not want their music used they want they thought they were entitled to more money or something what all the deals now well not all the deals but they're trying to go you know royaltyfree with with a lot of stuff um I think makes things a lot cleaner and easier well it would but it would it also makes things tougher for I mean you know as a as someone who writes music it yeah it would be nice to continue to get paid over a long period of time for not having to do any more work like sure um I don't mean that to sound like I'm having to go with them because but that's just how it always

was like you built up a catalog and that music got got you know relicensed and you know replayed and if you did a TV commercial you get paid residuals and that kind of [ __ ] that doesn't really happen that much anymore cuz they just go to you know some royaltyfree website pay you 50 bucks and that's it done especially with like YouTube and whatnot as YouTubers aren't paying repeatedly no same with like stage photos and yeah oh well that's that's there's uh there's literally websites now where you can go and sign up pay a monthly fee and you can get all the music and stock footage and you know stock photography you want just pay the monthy fee no royalties so Jesus all right well we're all out of a job

then I still got my day job yeah my day job uh speaking of doing things for the love I uh I've watched 20 films in the last couple of weeks for slam dance [ __ ] me but I took a little break the other night to watch some films uh for my own pleasure um oh wink wink wink um we got an article you'll be interested in films for pleasure.com no I watched I watched three films uh this week um based around the characters of Bill s Preston Esquire and T Theodore Logan Oh you watched all three yeah didn't want to jump into the new one

without having watched both the other two again refresh my memory um you didn't really have to no to know but I'm glad like oh who's that what's the what's the plot there what's the they're all just as good as each other I mean the first one's are classic the first one was classic film the second one man I think you said you liked it even more I do I it's not a better film but it is [ __ ] funny it is so funny I laughed out loud so many times and then this new one it's great I mean you could you could pick holes in it till the cows came home but why would you why would you because story makes zero sense and there's no way for it to make sense but just who cares it's a f if you if you're if you're a society of Time Travelers why are you mistaken about

stuff that happened in Don't Worry why is it Up For Debate yeah they kind of addressed that in the second one too I had forgotten this right at the end when they were like cuz you know we always joke about remember a trash can from the first one but in the second one they're all saying like we're going to come back later and do this this and this and then they're like actually only one of us can come back and do it so we win and we know we do I love that he goes another gun and it just appears in his hand like how the F that's right yeah you can understand that there was a that there was a cage hanging over him maybe maybe yeah Prime to fall at that moment but why did the gun come into his hand I mean that's Looper logic there isn't it

yeah I love uh I mean it's minor spoilers for Bill and Ted the the new one but I don't think that counts my favorite bit is you know the future thems are mean to them until they're old and then all of a sudden they're nice again and there's that sequence where they're talking and um I forget if it's Bill or Ted but he says to him I'm sorry though the way I treated you just every time I looked at you I just I just saw myself yeah yeah so funny so good but all iterations of the older thems had been the younger thems yes and should have known that they worked it all out no I know just don't give a [ __ ]

about the SpaceTime Continuum but [ __ ] it's good it's good it's good makes no sense but it's wonderful I will say this though bit of an anti CLX sure yeah and that's the one thing I didn't like that that the end where they play the music that was a that was a bit let down that fizzled out and then just ended just the movie was just over there's that guy in it who I assume is a is some sort of artist that people would know but I did not know who that guy was the rapper who who turns up and they're like oh it's what's his name and I was like who the [ __ ] is that who was that maybe we hadn't known who that was that they just they're just I mean it's just a throwaway gag really it's just saying that like out of all these great musicians from the past like [ __ ]

moad and Jimmy Hendrick this [ __ ] one rap dude from from our era is are we being RAC is he a rap is he a rap artist yeah he is he is yeah no he is he is to check maybe he's like a [ __ ] flute player he's just a world-renowned baritone yeah all right fine good I thought it was odd though okay so the the kids and we've already spoiled this on air so yeah [ __ ] it but you can't spoil this movie it's their kids are a main part of this their wives are a main part of it and their kids are a main part of it love that bit of therapy so funny we love you that is so good cuz what this movie does

well is that it really just extrapolates some of this weird stuff that we always just took for granted about yeah where they're like the same person yeah yeah they just share everything it's so good literally the same character uh [ __ ] man the the muscle suits when B prison makes no sense [ __ ] amazing amazing so amazing um and then he [ __ ] kicked the [ __ ] out of that robot so good um but the kids right m I it was a little uneven cuz Ted's kid was doing like the Ted mannerisms and Bill's kid was just like I'm an attractive blonde sure I wasn't really except that she's Hugo weaving's niece okay right so that and he's friends with Hugo weaving so I assume

that's why she's in the movie yeah just imagine her going Mr Anderson I thought they both did well yeah they were good I thought fine one really committed to it a little bit more than the other and the other one was just I'm I'm I'm already sort of wellknown so I thought maybe the robot was Jonathan Gruff for a bit but it was not I thought that too I thought that too I got excited when I looked him up and I was like oh it's I've actually never heard of this guy yeah shame death death was hilarious yeah of course yeah I mean he was the best part of Bogus Journey but just the fact [Laughter] I hope it was I hope it was cuz a lot of

people are the same but the the the princesses have never been played by the same people it's a two different people in every movie so they had to for tradition mhm swap them out I rewatched uh I sent you I don't know it popped up in my YouTube recommendations I rewatched one of my favorite interviews ever which was the shy lauff interview where he talks about his arrest in New York City [ __ ] love that story the way he tells the story is fantastic he just he's just a good Storyteller we should put that on Instagram so that uh list can can follow it and have a have a look because that that that is a great that is a great anecdote that's fantastic of just a man admitting on live television that he's just a [ __ ]

degenerate just the way he tells it is so good he's just a really good Storyteller like it's like even the mundane aspects of the story are he he makes them really interesting cuz he's just have you guys seen honey Boy the movie where shab buff plays his own dad in his own biopic no but I've heard of it I should watch it's it's pretty good it's pretty good but he's he's doing his own musical now right Shila Buff has directed a musical that is currently playing live in a parking lot in Los Angeles every night okay um it's a drivein because it's you know it's co safe the cars can drive in each

night and watch shab Buff's new play is he in it about Co no he's just the director but he's there apparently he's he's there in a hazmat suit directing each night right and it's a CO themed musical yes he interviewed frontliners and found out kind of what they went through and then wrote this I don't think it's a comedy I think it's deadly serious watching like the finale and I have no idea what's going on but it's a music it's cuz you haven't seen the rest of the play a lot seems like a lot of people just running around in yelling okay it's like shla buff it was very shff like when he went to [ __ ] um Mount Rushmore and was just running up the like America America apparently that happened I love

it up the other night yeah I was chatting with her no it's it's really good uh highly recommended Lovecraft country it's it's very gory so if you don't like that don't watch it but uh it's very good I have 10 more films I need to watch for slay dance and then that's that is the very first thing I'm going to watch how long do you have I've got till the end of the month oh plenty of time basically I could do One A Day yeah from here on in yeah bloody hell you know what I learned you've seen the first episode Dan you know the uh the Sundown towns they talk about where basically it's a town where if you're black you need to be out of there by Sundown yeah yeah they still exist what um I don't know if it's enforced but they do still exist that technically is

also sexist and Incredibly homophobic and differently racist as well styler and I disappear after he picked up the transvesti was that before or after he did something me to Eddie Murphy Yeah Eddie Murphy he he got he picked up a prostitute and that was sort of last I really ever heard of him he was never heard from again last time he texted Luke he like I've just picked him up picked up a transvesite prostitute and ended up with AIDS so maybe that's what Eddie Murphy did too he's back is he Eddie Murphy was The transvesti Prostitute I think they're doing a re remake or a sequel to Coming to America I think he's in that I think he's back

lately wait didn't he do Saturday Night Live recently again what happened back twin was it twins on the books just recently and then that stopped again I think Arie keeps talking about that triplets yeah I mean that who's the who's the triplet Eddie Murphy who oh right that's I mean it is funny right I mean I yeah yeah you got me I will watch that for sure yeah yeah when any Murphy was stopped by a police with a transsexual prostitute in his car there you go okay see something given Rel actually in 1997 1997 Luke has not heard about Eddie Murphy since 1997 he missed that he missed that's that's pretty fair I would say yeah yeah obviously didn't catch a a plane where

you were forced to watch the same screen as everybody else and uh and watch The Nutty Professor man I saw Norbit on a plane no it twice because that's halfway through the movie somebody complained that it was in the wrong language so they went back and played it again from the start and then they complained again that it was the wrong language and they were like so you can select the language on your little device there on your arm he's like oh okay sorry so I watched norit twice through once to halfway and then from the start again want to kill myself already Murphy yeah was it was no Eddie Murphy or was it Martin Lawrence no Eddie Murphy Eddie Murph did the same it was during that phase yeah that's I think

Martin Lawrence did that too big mama probably yeah yeah yeah but I I had even less chance of seeing a Martin Lawrence movie oh the other TV show I watched was the haunting of blind Mana uh it's very good is this in is this a standalone show or is this in the universe of so it's by the same director it is uh got a of the same cast not all entirely the same cast and I think they're looking at it like an anthology kind of thing like you know American Horror Story where it's it's different but it's so no it's not at all related other than it's the same people with a few changes here and there and it's very good I think it's not as good as the first one

although it has stuck with me okay so it is yes and an interesting thing happened where we were watching it and we weren't really paying attention to the episode numbers or anything like that we watched the whole thing and it got to the end and I was like that was good but they didn't really explain much about this or or this and then Jenna's like yeah that's true and then so she I guess was looking on on Reddit or or Googling just to see did did we miss something and then she was like could you do a favor put episode 4 on again so I went back put episode before and it said we'd watched them all put it on hadn't hadn't seen that episode before what hadn't seen that or episode 5 so what

somehow something [ __ ] up where possibly either I think maybe we watched one episode in bed and maybe the fire stick we have a fire Amazon Fire stick upstairs maybe it kept playing yep and went through two episodes before it auto stopped and then when we kicked it off again downstairs it just resumed from episode six um and you were like [ __ ] this mystery is just well here's the thing right we it's not like I there were certain things that that you literally saw what happens in those episodes except through context I still knew what happened later I was able to figure it out and so rewatching it later I was like oh actually I didn't really need to see that like they could have trimmed this down to be honest like I didn't need to see that exactly and then um I

quite liked the way we did it because it was like okay I finished the story and then I got to go back and just learn about some of these other characters a bit Yeah prequel yeah or just just more like you know like when they do those little shorts that go with a film where you like you want to know more about you know [ __ ] Jared Leto's character from blade runner4 here's a short film about him mhh so anyway so yeah that's a weird thing that happened look it looked pretty good I thought it looked good no it my list well done very well done great story um interesting it's yeah it's different in tone I think to the other one the other one was more creepy this one's more straight up like there ghosts doing High Jinks so right that makes sense like yeah it's

good to see Rahul working again yeah he's great in it actually he's really good in it it's a very serious role and he does really well I like that that's good yeah because I liked him from my zombie yes and also just I was just him he just seems like a fun guy yeah he seems like a nice dude he does stuff with um fun house and that too right uh no he stopped okay but he did evidently he had yeah he did and then evidently he hasn't been on there for a year evidently he's got some beef with some of delicious he mentioned something but then wouldn't go into details oh okay fair enough this is the same time as the story came out about them a couple of weeks ago oh yeah maybe one of them slept with him maybe all slept with him maybe he's handsome maybe
