a game so about 1,200 oh the story changes all right cool so of ninth is as good as I will be able to get cuz eight is like 40,000 in front of me don't be like that oh but it's like constantly moving right yeah like they're still playing games as well and like seventh is nearly 200,000 in front of me so there're still playing games at the moment but uh does it tell you where they live um no I just know that in Australia yeah Australia's not that big I'm sure you can track them down what you want you think I should start swatting them may no no doing that not tricking someone else into doing your own Dirty Work you can't can't get 40,000 gamer score if you don't have thumbs Luke that's all I'm saying I think a lot of people who

are in front of me actually do this for a living though how like that that' be streamers and stuff like this oh okay especially like in the world I'm sort of high up as well think the world I'm like hang on how come you can't do that then cuz I work oh sure right yeah but that would be work but yeah yeah but I I just I can't I'm not confident enough in my abilities in streaming to quit work cuz I also like to buy a lot of [ __ ] I I'm I know what you mean I also I don't think I'm very good at streaming uh but then when I watch other people stream I also don't think they're very good at it either or either that or it is I I just don't get what it is people like about streaming Sometimes some people I find entertaining but a lot of them where they just sit there and play games I'm

like well I could just be playing games right now yeah uh I don't get that I like the like even the channels I used to watch it wasn't so much the people playing games it was the people talking sure yeah over games exactly personality and not not even them talking about the game them just talking yeah what won't be watching a lot of Rooster Teeth anymore what is that oh haven't you seen what's happened no oh the [ __ ] hit the fan Rooster Teeth like big time in what way uh two of the guys one from funh house and one from Achievement Hunter have been fired oh um so Ryan Haywood it came out that he's been uh maybe sleeping with

girls okay who who sort of meet at conventions and like that and gross yeah and he and their age is in question as well double so he's our age yeah right and evidently the girls that are sort of coming forward and there's a few now are sort of like Jesus 18 maybe 17 at the time it's not quite clear is that why you won't stream you don't trust yourself no I completely trust myself yeah guys can we agree not to not to do that [ __ ] hell so he's been let go and he's gone like I'm stepping away I've made some mistakes nothing I've done was illegal but I need to try and fix what I've done to my family cuz he's got a wife and two young children oh God

the other one was from Fun House Adam kovic M is he one of the ones was in Sydney um if you remember that faithful night not sure no I think that was Bruce and James but this was he was catfished really and was sending a lot of photos now a lot of the photos he were taken like it was quite obvious that it was in his workplace and things like this huh and like nude photos nude photos him having sex with a pocket [ __ ] oh God and then licking it ah I didn't I didn't need that last little detail thanks well neither did I it's early in the morning Luke um there's also some photos on there of like him and his wife which is

not clear if his wife knew about it so and then yeah so he's sort of gone [ __ ] hell all right and then Ro fun house fun G look uh we're just going to stop putting stuff out for a week while we work out what the hell's going on [ __ ] hell and I think that the reason for that is cuz they had a lot of stuff filmed but now they're trying to madly scramble to film other stuff that doesn't include them wow all right just yeah what when did all this happen I I did miss this I mean I don't really pay much attention but yeah I honestly thought you would have heard about this though cuz it's so big but yeah this only happened like last late last week yeah right I don't really follow roer teeth you were you were my um source of rooster tooth information so well it's

sort of roer tooth sort of changed a lot it's all the original people are gone yeah like even Bernie has left now yeah wait he left I he can't leave well they sold the company oh did they I didn't even know that I didn't even know that it's owned by Warner Brothers now oh all right I think the last Rooster Teeth thing I was even remotely uh I guess participatory in would be RTX or when what was the movie they made um Laser Quest or laser laser Team Laser team yeah we went to the screening of that and Sydney Bernie was there that's the last time I did anything Rooster Teeth related I think look I've been sort of going off them for a little bit now just because funh housee I've still quite liked because those guys are our

age yeah so I found them more enjoyable to watch Ro Achievement Hunter I'd sort of gone off because well even though they' grown up and stopped being as yell as they were now they now they've brought younger people in and they're trying to think hold on to that yelling and and yeah I just don't find that enjoyable just yelling at people that's not true I've seen you yell at plenty of people but there i' sort I think I've sort of grown out of that but yeah now sure yeah I don't know what's going to happen with with this cuz I think they've been on a bit of a nice Edge for a while once they brought out cuz Warner Brothers doesn't want to be associated with anything like that yeah right and there's even been talk about them having to go through all their past catalog and

start removing stuff that's probably a bit too edgy now jeez well yeah maybe we should do that too I think we should just maybe do a c again and we'll just go start from 300 yeah yeah this time we can't I mean it's not the audio quality was the uh was the reason the first time it also gave us the opportunity to ni a few odds and ends that were maybe maybe uh didn't don't hold up to this day but uh and it might be time for that again we'll just pick a number and just go nothing after this day this time we'll just lie and say oh it didn't sound very good yeah well I don't watch I don't watch streamers I found myself these days just watching YouTube videos of people who've bought cabins in the woods

and live off the grid I don't know why I've gotten this weird obsession with building a [ __ ] cabin somewhere like is it just building cabin or are you going like um doomsday prepper type ofar no no no I'm not you got to find out how to bury guns no no I just like ready to go nothing like that I just like the idea of having a cabin that I can go and just the rest of the world could just [ __ ] off for a bit and no I'm not going to go live there like some of these people actually live there fulltime although I question that cuz you're living off grid in this cabin but you're posting YouTube videos how the [ __ ] that work like yeah like you still got you still got your YouTube account so I think it's I think it's like those um oh there was there was a

YouTube Scandal this week that I'm positive you didn't hear about cuz you wouldn't give a [ __ ] and the listeners don't either but uh I don't even know it was this week but recently there's been um some drama in the vegan YouTuber world have you heard about this uh no vegan is perfectly fine good diet I got nothing against that but uh people on YouTube who channels where they just you know like they're raw fruitarian kind of some very extreme or they they tend to flip-flop between all these very extreme things it's like people can't just do it like I'm just vegan and I'm just going to eat a healthy balanced diet it's no you got to do some weird [ __ ] extreme thing and so actually some sometimes those to stream people that put other people off well here's the problem

they're all selling products like books about how to do their weird you know extreme diet that they claim is healthy but then they a bunch of them have been busted now just eating meat on um because someone else live streamed an event and they were there eating some fish or something like that and then everyone was like wait what the [ __ ] turns out they don't eat that cuz you can't eat that cuz you'll [ __ ] die if you eat that stupid D that they were trying to P so see I've got nothing against vegan or vegetarian anything like that I'm just too lazy to do it that's actually what it comes down to I'm pescatarian now I still eat seafood I figure I can't live in Rhode Island and not eat seafood so yeah I love Seafood I also love steak but yeah I'm just too it's not because I

don't think vegetarian food's nice or anything it's just requires more effort uh I guess you need to be a bit more careful about what you're eating I think oh that's that's true yeah but see I've always I mean because Jenna's vegetarian she always has been a v sharing longer than I've known her so I just kind of I had to do it anyway so I had to I I can still cook whatever the hell I want it but I just why bother I just make one thing it's yeah why why make two separate meals when it's just easy to make one like and that's it'd be easy if that's the case but it's not and so I just I do the cooking so I eat meat you know what you know are you still uh you still drinking coffee I every now and again I'm not a like don't drink a lot I've got Dr Pepper at the moment so

that's this tea my caffeine hit it's tea and I haven't had coffee in uh in a week and a half how are you feeling well now I feel good actually I um I I I did some research afterwards and I learned that it's actually not a good idea to just stop drinking turkey coffee when you drink four or five cups a today cuz I actually got really sick last weekend uh and I uh had a a migraine and I threw up and I I was like it can't be the caffeine withdrawal cuz that's just silly but it turns out it probably was yeah so listen every now and do that every now and again I have to stop drinking energy drinks yeah cuz they're full of [ __ ]

cuz I will start off with I'll have one and then I end up having like three four five cans a day and not the little 250 Ms I'm talking the 500 Ms and I know I have a problem and so I have to go off them and then the cycle starts again about a month's time but you're Invincible right that's your um superpowers that you got from your radiation treatment exactly why my blood pressure works so high cuz I'm that fit you're like a wolverine it's like your high blood pressure keeps you from uh from dying of a caffeine overd yep exactly yeah so I'm drinking tea now actually and this is black te I had no caffeine for a week uh at all and uh I mean I feel good oh and I tried to have a coffee yesterday and I didn't like it so that happened really quick I don't

know whether I just made a shitty cup it's it's possible but before it wouldn't have mattered yep you still I would have drunk it anyway but yesterday I was like no no have a coup throw away I'll have a cup of tea exactly sleepy time tea well sleepy time to it's [ __ ] 7: a.m. oh I'm just thinking of Scott Pilgrim yes have you seen they re-releasing that game yes yes I did they're doing a remaster of that soon that was a good we should play that together yeah that was a good game uh 360 right yeah it was sort of a weird thing it was on the 360 and then got pulled and there was rumors around that it got pulled because of the music but the guys who did music went nothing to do with us we're happy with it yeah they said it was fine so yeah it's still a

bit strange why it got pulled but it's coming back happened to the remastered version remastered what just like yeah I don't get a remastering like a something a pixel art game yeah yeah whatever well I know why cuz if you throw remastered on it you can charge for it again well maybe it's possible right that the I mean the was the 360 did up to wait what resolution did 360 do didn't do 1080p did it it did it did okay I'm trying to remember what I think I think I don't remember Xbox well they might have rendered it out for the art for that resolution Max like so maybe they need to do 4K versions of all the character art or something I don't know I'm making this up uh the X the 360 support uh the you may have read that

most games do not render internally at 1080p they rely X the 360 scaler to scale the output to 1080p ah okay I didn't know that but okay that makes sense the only way to get the full experience is by using HDMI cable to connect your Xbox 3602 your television okay it's quite an old article I was going to say oh HDMI C what the [ __ ] is that composite I use composite cables have we got any other Xbox news oh I believe that we do so recently Microsoft found out that iOS wasn't going to allow them to have their Xbox game pass they're streaming Cloud Project X xcloud words Apple's going to go no you can't have it the same with stadia they go no you're not going to have it on there

because they have to review every single game yeah yeah which weird and whereas Xbox and stadi G well they've already been reviewed and got ratings like no problem but they do quality control and and I I do think it's a weird argument because they still allow Netflix and you know video and all that on there exactly the same thing it is a little bit different at being games but still it's not like people can release anything they want onto these platforms exactly like if they were to do it with a steam or something I'd completely understand anyone could put anything on Steam yeah but for these these games they'll go through Xbox certification they'll go through stadi certification they'll also go through local rating boards and yeah yeah I know what you

mean it's it looks like what they're doing is they're not doing uh epic games and taking them to court yeah they're just they're just trying to look at they're looking at a way to maybe just do it through like a direct bow browser based solution so basically just log onto a web page and stream through there they're so they're still looking at doing they're not quite sure how but next year we should have something so if you have an iPhone you'll still be able to stream yeah in a country that allows it with all the the million other caveats about that yes yes CU this is how Amazon's one is going to work and so uh I don't know whether you know they all kind of figured it out on their own or if Amazon realized oh we could just do this first and then Microsoft was

like oh yeah good idea let's just do that yeah so uh but yeah I think they're do in more mature way that epic games use yeah I don't know that we have an update on that at the moment there's not sort of going to beit quiet at the moment yeah well the I know the judge the most recent thing I heard was that the judge basically was laughing at Epic and saying well you did this to yourself yeah so like yeah like if all you have to do is change this back and they will let you back on like I think the point was that you yeah you might have a valid argument about the the percentage being too high but what you've done is not the way to to get me as a judge to force them to do anything about it because you could fix this easily yourself so yeah I believe that was that was where

they came down on that yeah that's one of the things I I still think it's not going to go anywhere I don't think it's possible for them to win I don't yeah if they can get more people on board to like protest but it doesn't seem like that's happening but still it's just a figure that yes it's a figure that Apple made up but epic stores made up a figure while it is less they've just made up a figure well the other thing is apple has a habit of I mean this might work anyway they have a habit of like they'll they'll go to court and and protect themselves like they are now but then afterwards they'll maybe change the policy um yeah because they they do things like that you know like with the with those like uh like kafuffle about you know like apps have to do something

if somebody's going to down them off the store like there was that email app hey where you had to sign up for an account but you can't ask users to sign up for an account on iPhone unless you use the Apple payment system they didn't want to so basically you download the app it didn't do anything and so now they reached a compromise on that so maybe they'll um look Happ for being upset the 30% is sort of like an industry standard like steam does the 30% yep Xbox Android does it xbo like everyone does it yes you might think it's too high but you go and do what Epic done and make your own store and charge what you want they're not protesting against Microsoft and place and Sony no because they need them right well it turns out they they maybe

need apple as well yeah I don't know why they're going after Apple because they it's the same across the board oh I think that's the biggest Cash Cow for them I think 30% of well here's the thing if if I'm cynical it's because they want the money if I'm yeah if I take them at their word it's because they're just you know trying to do good for the industry but probably it's the money I I think it's the money it has to be the money yeah yeah cuz it's not like that when they're selling the v-bucks and stuff on directly through their site that they charge less or anything yeah still cost the same yeah they just take more of a cut now there was some some other drama around that 30% thing this week too with Facebook I don't know if you heard about this um no

Facebook has this thing that they released I think it's a new thing where you can basically pay for stuff uh on Facebook so like say you want to book a yoga class or a I don't know karate lesson or something like that you can go on and to the event on Facebook and you can pay through Facebook on the event when they released it they had in there um a warning that popped up on on iOS devices that said um you know you're paying I don't know how much 50 bucks for your your Lo your yoga lesson Apple will take 30% and it had a little note on there and apple was like nope can't do that kick the k kick the update back and said no you can't do that and uh and then they were like well you do take 30% and a was like yeah but the users don't need to know that it's irrelevant they said

it was irrelevant information I don't quite think that is at first I was like well I guess I mean Apple takes 30% of all the transactions so they don't really need to know and and listeners I listeners users don't really know that usually and they don't I mean why would they care but they don't actually care how much is it costing me how much do I need to pay but the difference is and this is the only thing that made me go oh okay it's not they're not paying Facebook they're you're paying your instructor or your the person the person you're getting the class or whatever from and of that money yeah and I think that's just making it clear like your instructor is not getting your they're getting $40 whatever it works out to be and that I think is I

don't think that's a terrible thing to make people aware of right yeah like so I don't know that one's a weird one and this could be another one that maybe they'll either they'll have to budge on or possibly they just won't but I do think yeah I mean I'm I'm no fan of Facebook but but I feel like that one I think they have to budge on like you you can't go no you can't tell people that we're taking money that's yeah cuz the I mean the alternative is you know like you could pay the person directly when you get there and then and if you knew Facebook was just taken sorry not Facebook Apple was just taking 30% maybe you would be inclined to pay them directly pay them directly yeah so I don't know that's also one of those one of those things that you should always

try to do if you're looking to go on holidays um a good thing to do is when you're like looking on those sites to like whatever accommodation sites you look at if you actually contact the place directly you can probably get the same price if not better but you're actually supporting those places yeah we then going through a site when we when we did our road trip there was a place in um in Rapid City in South Dakota we stayed and we were able to stay there because it was the offseason for I think it was some it was like honestly blew my mind it was like a resort in in Rapid City but I mean it it was snowing so it was not like you know you weren't going to be out in the pool or anything like that but it was a resort it had like a fireplace with like a with

like a you know mounted [ __ ] deer's head above it like a kind of Lodge type feel it was really nice and we stayed there I think $40 a night oh that's insane so yeah we actually we were only going to be there one night and we were like let's just [ __ ] stay here for a few days yeah just cuz they were like yeah whatever sure like yeah yeah it's just one the things like if you're going to a place like that a bit out contact them directly that way you're sort of helping them out a bit more y if you're going through like a a huge restaurant uh Hotel chain doesn't really matter but if you're going to like a small town help out be nice I mean if it's in Orlando probably not going to have much luck with that but no better if you're in Rapid City in the offseason exactly

when no one else is there except you and the Buffalo which I would recommend you do [ __ ] Rapid City and we do Buffalo South Dakota is fantastic yeah man yeah I well no around to know about it Luke you do whatever you want those Buffalo I mean they will they will possibly Crush you to death so I mean bear that in mind they are very large powerful beasts yeah I don't think I'll be able getting there anytime soon yeah no I think of I'm having to give up on my dream of going to Disneyland on my birthday for my 40th I found out apparently I can't come to Australia uh probably 2022 is the earliest I'll be able to visit Australia again I mean not that I had any immediate plans cuz you know I didn't know what the [ __ ] was going on

but they've yeah all next year is probably out I'm having to make adjustments and so instead of going to America I'm going to going to go to dland in Japan oh okay my birthday wait so but hang on if there's a travel ban you can't leave the country right they're looking at creating a bubble so a travel bubble over Japan no no so be travel bubble so so new New Zealand Australia Korea Japan and I think another country will have like a you can only you can travel between these countries so to minimize that like yeah we don't want anyone from America coming no you don't but we have [ __ ] up like you're

still getting 50,000 people a day yeah whereas we're now down to like less than a dozen a day I know I saw they had a a sports ball game in New Zealand just a normal old school no social distancing [ __ ] normal sports ball game yep that's what we're having in Australia as well yeah that's not happening here I can tell you that so yeah I might have to go to Japan I would invite you they're not going to let me in they're not going to let you in I mean I'll be able to get back no problems apparently we're not too worried about that but but yeah you won't be able to No No Country will accept you no nope oh well but yeah I was looking forward to being on the Millennium Falcon for my birthday yeah sorry sorry on behalf of everyone else in this country not all of you not all of your

listeners I know obviously there are plenty of sensible people but there are some not not sensible people I saw two people yesterday uh in situations where I mean we still have a government man government mandate that you're supposed to wear a mask you know in the shops and whatever saw two people just not [ __ ] it not interested looking grumpy about it too everyone had a mask on it and there were just two people wandering around looking grumpy and I could tell a they're just waiting for someone to say something and I'm not going to do it they just want something yeah I'm not going to do it but they're just waiting for someone to question them so they can have some kind of weird rant about it it's their right [ __ ] hell it's their choice so

germs we all are over here mate hey we could probably play some games together uh via VR with these little [ __ ] treadmill things did you see this video see I saw what they started talking about these platforms a while ago but they never really came nothing came of it but this is starting to look awesome I have a VR headset which I can't play cuz I just I don't have the room oh I see well you got the room but you play squadrons with it no you haven't bought it not yet I haven't got it on PC yet I'm looking forward to that but uh you think I got a refund cuz it wouldn't work properly on my Xbox so really yeah I had weird audio issues and I was like nah [ __ ] it oh that sucks cuz

you need audio for that game they'll probably fix it but I was like I a weird I had a weird like buyers remorse moment and I was like can I get a refund on the Xbox so I did so the answer is yes you can but you got actually have a a good reason for it you got to have a reason cuz I I got a refund from them a little while ago M which cuz I brought uh The Fast and Furious game yeah um and I've brought some crap games and I just accept it yeah but this one I played finished a single player went to play multiplayer and it was unplayable yeah right like it was just lagging it took about 10 minutes to get into a game and then when I got in it was just unplayable and so I got a refund because of that yeah but normally if I buy a game I just go yeah

I lost money it's fine yeah well to be fair I do I mean I have I I think I think it might be my Xbox um cuz I've had cuz it's an original Xbox is it but I mean so I mean I did it anyway and then maybe I'll see what happens when the when the series X arrives well yeah when the series X you can still buy that and play it yeah so but it's weird they've actually said they're not releasing any DLC for it yeah it's just done like that just this is it it's so like but people are liking it leas some more single player content not multiplayer content single player well I think the problem is that people have complained so much about like was it microtransactions yeah the way that they did all that that they've just gone they've leaned too hard the other way so

yeah I think people would be okay with buying you know like a a story DLC or something right like the way C project red has been doing it in the past apparently microtransactions will be in cyber Punk but the the problem that people had with Battlefront was that actually you could pay money to unlock stuff earlier and give you an advantage and that's not all you DLC for multiplayer stuff should just be skins that's it yes or or oh for multiplayer yes yeah yeah single player whatever you want but multiplayer should just be skins yeah single player story stuff please like I'm happy to pay for more story like the uh out of worlds one you know it's a new new chunk of story give me that I actually I actually paid for it even though I've

got the other worlds on Game Pass I went out and I paid for the season pass so I could play the DLC yep same yeah cuz it's [ __ ] great game and I'll pay for more story absolutely yeah I'm not going to pay for I don't weird cheat well not cheats but like not going to pay to unlock a gun or something why would I no but no I just I'm happy that the other worlds did that because like if you look at like Rockstar they're not doing single player content anymore like GTA 5 didn't have any single player it just double down on online Red Dead Redemption yeah there was no deals there was no they still released stuff for the online cuz that's still making them money but mhm but people like us we don't care about that

no no give me the Undead Nightmare yes Red Dead Redemption 2 I will play that yes absolutely that was a [ __ ] great game oh so the uh the Omni One prototype this is that that treadmill thing right uh this looks sick I do have some questions about how comfortable this is to use um listeners you'll have to watch the um the video to if you haven't seen this before check out the video to see what I mean it's like a basically like a little weird little platform and you've got an arm that attaches you to it and you can walk and run and Crouch and jump on it and you don't move the walking would actually have to be sort of so the the the platform would have to be touch sensitive to be able to walk on it to yeah get you moving so I

guess you got to wear special shoes I don't yeah they special shoes or it's just the platform you're on it's a 360° thing so I don't oh it's just slippery I don't know like I feel like it's going to be a little weird to use it'll be one of the things I think oh well I think cuz it's got that arm that you sort of strap into that's probably taking some of the weight oh off you lifts you up lifts you up so you still like still putting your weight on your feet and stuff but it's maybe just to make it easier to slide your feet walk on it taking some of that weight so you can jump I feel like it's actually not as it's not actually as expensive as I thought it was going to be no it is expensive but it's not it's expensive

filter oh what I used to smoke yeah uh the most brutal of cigarettes actually no Winnie Reds probably were the most brutal yeah um I think they're like $55 a packet now or something [ __ ] off are you kidding me mhm no I am not wow well just don't smoke mate it's fine well I don't well there you go no need to worry about but yeah that is wow in the in the '90s I remember what like6 I remember getting change from $10 yeah $7 is what I remember bu a p smokes you can buy a carton of smokes for less than 50 box yeah wow wa he so much as a curon you know what who cares I don't smoke I don't that is a lot though just it's ridiculous yeah it can't be that bad here because I still see people doing it everywhere so um it actually ends up

that it's normally it's just cuz you're in different circles as well sometimes cuz you're not don't smoke and you're not around that you don't see it as much yeah cuz I found I've started going outside I first I work with smokes yeah and I'll go outside and have when they go for SM just because we're talking about work still and there's still a lot of people down there but when I wasn't working with them I didn't see it yeah right actually a lot of people Vape at my work and in general here I think that hasn't quite taken off in Australia yeah everyone's and it's still it's still iffy if it's going to end up remain legal because you star to see some people get very sick from vaping yeah but the I think the I think the story still out on that right whether it's or

it's those weird Black Market [ __ ] flavors or whatever I I I I think in in one way it smells better than cigarettes but then also I don't want to breathe it and so every time I smell it I'm like get it out of my lungs cuz I'm like I don't know what that is get it away from me oh I still miss smoking to this day really okay I really do I love the smell of it really I don't like stale smoke but fresh smoke and fresh tobacco I quite like the smell of okay interesting have you considered smoking cigars or something they they're still just as ridiculously expensive as well oh all right there's a cigar place up the road from us actually I can't go there I uh I did like the uh the game that they used as a demo in this and I know a lot of people still play this but

I did think it was kind of an odd Choice uh was Counter Strike the the demo game for this Omni One prototype I'm like is that I mean it's how old's C 20 years old at this point yeah cuz I remember playing it in the 90s that's what I'm saying it's like I mean I know it's still popular game and it's iconic but it's just like I'm like really that's the game you went with because I mean graphically it's not I mean I wouldn't I wouldn't have expected it to be a demo game for a new piece of Hardware that and then they also they said there Som online thing they will offer online gameplay player rankings and contests and prizes for $15 a month so I've got to buy this thing for 2 Grand and then I have to pay $15 a month subscription for it but I'm hooking it up to a computer I

can already play multiplayer games thanks very much like I got to pay extra just to play them with your [ __ ] device this makes me a little nervous that it's like yeah you it'll only work yeah you can use this it works with VR but it will only work with this that's what I'm saying yeah so like spend $2,000 and you can only play Counter Strike yeah right exactly no I want to play it with whatever although I guess the game yeah not going to play Counter-Strike anymore I promise you but oh I guess a game would have to support it like yeah like I couldn't pull up dagger fall play dagger fall with this even though that would but I think because of the walking and the jumping and the kneeling yeah you have to be compatible with this and I think that's that's something that's

also hurt VR because they're all the different VR they're not games aren all compatible with everything yeah cuz you got the V Oculus there was also Microsoft's augmented that never really took off why is Microsoft doing any VR stuff I don't know cuz remember at E3 a few years ago mhm they had what's he name from Bethesda come out and go hey Fallout VR and then we're all thinking okay the Xbox One X is coming out soon and it's going to have VR that's going to be awesome but it doesn't nope and and the Oculus and five don't actually work with the even the VR games that Microsoft did release you had to buy their so it just it was a weird announcement yeah totally I wonder if they

um have something in the works I think it's the there's two potential answers one is that they've got something in the works that they're just not ready to announce yet or the other one is that they just think V is a pile of [ __ ] and they're not worried about it I'm actually thinking they're going be polish it and not worried about cuz it just it hasn't worked yeah yeah it's not really Tak off taken off like the game still games to this stay I haven't played Star Wars yet but I think that's going to be the big one that may pull me into it but I think a lot of the they're not so much as games as so much as experiences yeah but no I want to play a game and I've always said like the game that'll probably pull me in would be like a flight Sim yeah something where

I've got the joystick in front of me which I can feel and then I can look around the cockpit and so Star Wars might be it but I'm going to wait for it to be on sale hey those headphones I just noticed you've got yours plugged in do you always use those plugged in yeah for for the computer yes oh what about the Xbox Xbox no okay cuz mine I had like I said I had audio issues with um squadrons so I was just wondering if you had the same thing no no I normally I just play with speakers on the Xbox most of the time yeah okay yeah no I think I I I still had issues anyway but all right no worri just curious not a problem what I'm here for to help am I going to have to go to the movies very soon [ __ ] I got to go see tenet but uh they've also announced and I thought this was a bit cheeky people

have been asking there's there's a uh a subculture of uh Alita battle Angel fans of which I am one I liked that movie I one of them yeah I know a lot of people didn't like that movie but a lot of people did like me and you I think a lot of it sort of I didn't I don't think it did great at the box office but I think a lot of people watched it after yeah right yeah no I really liked it well they they're putting it back into Cinemas if Cinemas still exist at the time by the time this is supposed to happen uh the reason why I want to go see cuz if I go see it and give them money there's more of a chance that we'll get a sequel well that's the thing is right that's what everybody's saying and then I was like yeah but there's a

pandemic so I feel like it's a little shitty of them right cuz theaters it makes me think right theaters are desperate they know people want an Elita battle battle Angel uh thing so maybe they've organized this but then James Cameron came out and was like yeah we're putting it back in the I'm like not you two what is this like is this I don't know this whole thing just makes me a little uncomfortable you know well I think it's also one of those things they're trying to get people to go but they don't want to they don't want to put like the new movies out because no well they're not doing well because no one wants to go but having something that's already there yeah I know but it's just also it's a little I don't know I just it's like did you you like

this movie you want a sequel that's fine put your life at risk kind of and I know it's not I know it's Pro maybe not that dramatic but but here things are I mean still quite bad here so I mean it's not I mean well I know I went to the movies to see Bill and Ted and here it was great going to the movies yeah we booked our tickets you had to book your tickets online they say you have to book if you're going as a group you book everyone's at the the same time right so they know and then they just basically block everything out around you okay so no one can sit next to you but even when we went like we there there was four of us in the entire Cinema yeah way I want to see movies now yeah no one else in there I really want to go see tenant but I'm just I'm just not I'm not convinced

they're going to do anything like that here so I'm I'm worried I can't help you sorry I know I know well I can't even say like come to Australia and watch me you're not allowed well they'll let me in I just have to quarantine for two weeks um you you still struggle to get here it's still hard to get no no i' have if I could yeah exactly they bump my flight a bajillion times actually especially coming from here probably yeah although I'm no I'm a citizen they' uh I mean they'd have to let oh that doesn't matter does not matter no um well you saw Dan got bumped a few times oh no no no I know that but they could just turn me away completely no they but they can just go sorry we a limit you can't come a limit on Americans which is zero zero Americans relateded to the

country yeah fair enough yeah so Elita battle Angel uh movie I liked a lot coming back to theaters if you liked it I don't want to say go see it because again it's a risk so I but if you're up for it uh maybe this is sort of a putting The Feelers out to see about a sequel but then like I said cynical part of me is just like well maybe they just this is just kind of a money grab for the theaters which Tak Advantage I don't actually think I don't actually think it's sort of a money grab it's them desperately trying to just stay in business I yeah know I get it but I know I know I know I know I'm just there's a pandemic though like I get it but come on but yeah they they sort of have to do something to just try and keep the doors open until life gets back to normal well

bond got delayed and now Dune has been delayed until October 2021 it's been delayed until see I think this is a silly move by them to delay and I have a reason why yet yes so cuz this is not going to do well at the movies you don't think if they released it no God no okay this will not do well and if they had it released it while this is going on could have been their excuse putting it back to next year they're not going to have that excuse and the re the reason why I don't think this is going to do well is it's very very heavy sci-fi yeah that's true like it's not a light thing it's not big explosions from robots transforming anything like that and the thing is

actually I think if it's going to actually be good you're probably right it's not going to be mainstream for example Blade Runner 2049 which I thought was [ __ ] fantastic didn't do Gang Busters cuz no it's not for everyone and I think this will do worse than that really okay yes cuz a lot more more people know Blade Runner than know Dune that's the thing Dune is a weird one right because obviously it's a very famous book and the film The David Lynch film is also quite famous and haas's doing is also quite famous but not y to everyone no to us nerds so I do Wonder like and and in most people I think are only going to know the film and the film's not good no not at all it's a bad movie and I think that why I don't think this is going to do

well you have good you raise a good point maybe I mean I'll go cuz I knowbe they're not getting money from me no and well if they put it out on um VOD that would be fantastic but I don't know this oh Cinemas um here are just closing already by the way I know we we didn't I know we talked about how they in trouble could imagine yeah but I think Regal Cinemas in particular they just shut down they said H maybe we'll open up again one day but they just shut down for now so it's not going well no but Cinema's been dying for a long time anyway yes yeah like we don't like this type of movie I think this would make be better if they did it as a a television show did it as a Westworld or something like something drawn out that's yeah quite long cuz it's actually quite a big

story as well you can't really fit it into a 2hour movie well this is two movies for the for the record hours this is the this is only the first half of the story this this first June but yeah like this I think would have been better as a television series yeah then uh well they've done it as a TV series before I think yeah on sci-fi and no one watched it no and it's going to be the same yeah you could be right I'm always right I watched a TV show uh this last week I've watched all the episodes there are of it so far to watch uh and it's Lovecraft country and how is that it's very good I really I'm really enjoying it there's two episodes to go I don't

know if Episode 9 aired recently it may have in the last couple of days but uh I watched eight of them it's it's very good it's about basically it's about black people in the 50s but magic is Real Love Like HP Lovecraft style magic and uh that's kind of what it's about very good okay cuz I I do get this now cuz I've got we do have a way to stream stuff that's on HBO in Australia now it's awesome oh what on what on What on binge binge so binge is what we use for HBO and season yeah episode 9 is out okay yeah I think I was I think it said it was going to air in the next couple of days we just didn't get to it yet so we'll watch that one this week and then uh yeah it's 10 episode series love

craft country yeah it's about a guy dad goes missing uh and he gets a mysterious letter that says he's gone to Lovecraft country meaning New England um M area so he goes off after him and then things kind of quickly spirl out of control as they yeah I haven't read this one yet what I did watch on here was the race by Wolves I still need to and maybe watch that last episode again because it just I think it went weird I'm going to watch that too so that and um yeah I recommend I been the first 10 episodes or what Nine episodes whatever it is the last one I'm on the fence on all right we shall see and also the music the opening music I don't know it just it's awesome okay it's very strange I'm excited to hear that I think

you'll like it I saw this this caught my eye this week um you know they're doing a Lord of the Rings TV series on Amazon and no it didn't yeah they're adapting Lord of the Rings into a TV series and they've got uh what do you call it an intimacy coordinator uh listed among the the the jobs which usually means I mean people getting naked getting it on and potential sex scenes in Lord of the Rings so now yeah the fans are like oh no it's not going to be like Game of Thrones is it it sounds like they're trying that that I haven't read the books was there much nudity and sex in it no no there was not much think so if any it was not yeah it was very um

very sparse on the uh on the sexual content so it seems a strange thing to try and put into Lord of the Rings I know there's not a lot of women in it I mean there are there are some iconic women but there's not a lot of women so I'm like who's going to be getting it on unless it's Hobbit sex in which case I say bring it on more Hobbit sex the better yeah the Fellowship of the Ring wink the [ __ ] ring yeah I mean we all know Frodo and Sam were giving each other eyes wink wink Mr Frodo but but why try and force this in unless it is just trying to fill the void that the Game of Thrones is left yeah no I know it's yeah look maybe

F getting their fix with westw and stuff yeah I don't know I don't know why they would do this look I mean you trying to modernize it I guess cuz people you know TV series you got to have nudity and sex in them now it's like almost a requirement so or or or they could just have a good story no no no no no no no crazy talk I know no was the old uh Game of Thrones sex position where they would uh just have naked women wandering around while someone was telling some Bor boring backstory about the show so that people who didn't care had something to look at I'm serious that that was a thing that they oh god they well it worked yeah have have have the last of

the books come out yet no actually you know what I was thinking about yesterday just popped into my head and I asked Jen I'm like what the [ __ ] happened to uh well yeah no he hasn't finished the last book of that I think it's the last one uh it might be or maybe it's not even the last one just whatever the one every waiting for he hasn't finished and also Patrick rothus has not put out the Third King killer Chronicles book yet so wondering where that is yeah I'm sure he'll get to it at some stage yeah King never wait for me to write a book God I found an article King killer Chronicle editor believes author hasn't written anything for years the editor of the king killer Chronicle says she thinks author Patrick rothus hasn't written anything for six

years [ __ ] all right sorry Pat so how do authors make money these days well Pat does uh Acquisitions Inc and he does a lot of you know like cons and stuff like that so I wonder look I'm a I I don't know if this is true or not he seems like a nice guy uh and so I don't want to I don't want to accuse him of anything but if he's just not doing it then oh boy but like 6 years is a long time not to ride any anything when that's your job yeah well that's what I'm saying though I'm not sure his job is doing that anymore I think his job might be being a personality same with George RR Martin right his job became advising on the TV show working on the TV show a little bit and then now he

just goes and talks about his books and then he he his job now is to answer questions about why he hasn't finished the book that's his job now he doesn't I'm here he doesn't write anything he just talks about how he has I make more money walking going around talking about it then I do writing it yeah so he answered to your question no he hasn't finished that book yet and neither is patri rothus okay well I'm not going to read it until he finishes them all they're quite good an thing is that that well I'm not going to read Game of Thrones there's too many of them I'm not I'm actually not that interested the TV series was not not my favorite so I I I don't get what everyone saw I watched the first season of it and I didn't why people were going crazy over Game of

Thrones I enjoyed it I enjoyed it up until I think I watched four seasons of it and then I just actually just got sick of everybody talking about it and I was like and I I because I didn't have time to watch it you know when it came out like everyone else did and then everyone was just talking about literally I had someone at a party ask me oh did you watch the latest Game of Thrones and I said no I'm waiting for the whole season and then maybe I'll watch it and then they just started telling me spoilers and I and like like not even I don't even think they realized that I had said that I hadn't seen it cuz there were just too many to talk about it and I was like were just so excited to talk about it I keep thinking about going back and trying to get back into the Walking Dead

Oh No but then also I don't know cuz I think I got up to season three or four originally but it just ended up being the same thing they travel they find somewhere safe something goes wrong they have to move on they find somewhere safe yeah that's why but there's also the new Walking Dead show as well yeah but that's the same [ __ ] right cuz there's There Was Fear to walking dead but there's also another one oh which is about teenagers dealing with The Walking Dead or something Walk The Walking Dead she taking for a walk it's um I forget what it's called texting The Walking Dead texting the walk no they don't text anymore they they snap snap the de hey I'm still one of these people like if an apocalypse like this happens I just want to be one

of the first people to be wiped out zombies nuclear anything just just take me out I would you want to be a zombie or would you be here's what here you know that there's that old Trope in the movies where it's like don't don't let me become one of them but like don't care yeah does it really matter like oh I'm dead it's like people who don't want to become a vampire why not vampire seem pretty cool it depends on I suppose it depends on movie well yeah it depends on the law behind that particular vampire because remember there's the vampire that you're not actually who you are a demon takes over you yeah that's the um well yeah yeah that's right or or no well then they forget it doesn't make any sense anyway no about to go into

it's not going to happen anyway they remember what they did and like you get oh yeah because you lose your soul in um yeah The Buffy verse and you get your soul back yeah they gave Angel his soul back but it didn't explain why Spike sort of became good yeah but he got his soul back later as well did he yeah at the end he got his soul yeah I still like it Buffy yeah Buffy's [ __ ] fantastic he's still doing what they're doing for the Remake reboot is that still they're doing um I don't know anymore it's hard to know because so many things have just sort of been cancelled because of what's happening at the moment like um what was cancelled this week um glow oh yeah which a lot of people going oh we really wanted to to give him a chance

to type the stories I'm sort of like season 3 didn't really have a story line like really I I I think they yeah I think the first season I really like the third one I'm just you're just doing this just because people like it yeah I think some shows are are great and then it's like well we ran out of ideas but now people want more of it but people want it so same with movies like The Matrix The Matrix should have just been one movie movie yeah done you clearly didn't have an idea yeah but yeah but I don't blame him you get offered enough money oh yeah sure I'll do that we'll make something up Hollywood if you want us to make a sequel to this podcast we'll do it we'll
