This Person Is Geek Of The Week: Mass Effect Legendary Edition

[Music] welcome to multiple nerdgasm with your hosts Matt Luke and Dan multiple nerdgasm your guide to All Things nerdy so I was right yet again Mass Effect Trilogy is coming out and it was announced on November 7th yeah you're right about several aspects there I mean it in so was kind of obvious the obvious choice yeah it really was to announce it but you were correct and I would not have guessed so what really gave it away was when they announced that the voice actors were coming together on November 7th and it's all like there's no reason why they need to get a pandemic there's

no reason for them to be in the same room other than this no so yeah they finally announced that it's coming out next year well not only that they're working on another Mass Effect game uh it was that was part of this announcement too yeah but I'm not focused on that no I was like we've been through that before that was the least exciting part of this because I I had high hopes for Andromeda yeah and the way they spoke about it was it was going to be this great game that would you would go you would do stuff and then the world would sort of change around you but what that happened was you landed on a planet stuff would build and then that was it just same actions would happen over and over nothing changed it reminded me of

um I mean it was very similar to dragon age uh Inquisition but not as good so yeah so we'll wait and see I mean I'll looking forward to oh yeah definitely I'm looking forward to playing the first one again that's actually my favorite of all well see I you know I told I mentioned a little while back I tried and I couldn't cuz it was too clunky so I'm hoping that this will un clunky it in some way so it's one of these weird things it's I think what I like about games other people don't like about games achievements the mass effect the Mass Effect Trilogy it seemed that as it went along it removed all the stuff that

I really liked really see I found the opposite in Mass Effect Effect one I like the exploring of planets and I would go through and I would explore every aspect of the entire planet I liked that too but in the first one I mean it's been a while but I mean there was nothing different about any of the planets you would go there and there would just be like there's an empty planet with one building on it and you go inside and there'd be three guys in there and then they'd just be like hey [ __ ] off and then you'd shoot them and then there'd be like some generic stuff in a box like oh I did like the sort of going around and finding the resources and stuff like that nothing I think you've got a good imagination so you were probably doing most of the heavy

lifting for that game like it is true yes which I then they just they get rid of all that stuff and it happened with a lot of games I well yeah cuz as of two you just kind of scanned planets right yeah you didn't which I quite liked as well and then they got rid of it oh yeah see I've forgotten in the third one it's been ages since I played the third one I've actually played the other two more recently than the last one you you did SC of a shooter the reap right but even in the first SP like your guns were different like in the second one they introduced ammo oh sure in the first one it was just your gun overheated and you had to wait and yeah you like waiting I don't that's one of things I don't know if I'm going to play I don't know if I'm going

to play them twice again okay like Paragon and Renegade yeah cuz that's what I did with the original trip I played through good and then I went through very evil very evil I think I'm just going I don't know if I can this time I don't have the time I thought you were going to say I just I just can't be evil anymore well I can't be evil either people are the worst so I just finished watching the Xbox series X announcement yes oh launch they announced it a little while ago launch yeah and I was watching on Twitch and I was watching the comments section and I don't know I just don't like people why what did they say they say mean things about your Xbox people just complaining and

bitching and yeah people people mad people complaining mad at lar their pre's not there and it's not supposed to be there till tomorrow and then people just started to argue with each other and like where are the codes and I Know It Takes the fun out of stuff yeah I I generally turn the chat off when I'm watching things I watch actually the penny arcade guys stream sometimes and I usually just turn the chat off except the that's actually the chat kind of participates on on their streams so yep and is generally quite positive this just takes up too much screen real estate I was sort of hoping that they'd make an announcement but they didn't oh waiting for yeah you you were going to announce well let's you can announce now if you want I'm going to

announce it so I not here that's our big an I should be being inducted to the Xbox Hall of Fame yeah congratulations I'm still in quite a bit of shock about so what is it that you did did did they say specifically what did you do to get this I don't know okay don't I mean don't ask just in case they start looking into it they're like wait a minute we [ __ ] up it well that's what I I think they might have because I really don't know what I've done because on the CH Chief's website they've been people have been tracking and actively trying to win some of the competitions they had like there was eight categories yeah I just signed up and forgot about it so I haven't been actively trying you did you you performed your your standard

procedure which is you signed up paid the registration fee and then just went about your life as if you hadn't done that yep so yeah I have no idea what it was for but we'll find out at some point I'm sure so what what is the I mean the Xbox Hall of Fame that sounds good what what is what are the what does that mean so I'm going to get uh Xbox series X all right so you'll have three of those I have three of those I'll have a hoodie okay that's good and another year of Xbox game pass ultimate so I'm not don't have to pay for that till 2022 or 23 or something [ __ ] hell yeah and the thing I'm most looking forward to a trophy yeah okay a trophy you don't know what it looks like yet mhm yes oh what does it look like I mean describe it I guess if you

can it's that clear plastic okay perspect or whatever sort of diamond shape and it says H yeah perspect and says Hall of Fame on it cuz um yeah some people already have their what I was having a look today and the some of the people who have this are like stallion 83 and who's that um he's the first guy to get a million gamer scho oh all right I knew I'd heard the name before so this is the sort of caliber that I've be inducted into the Hall of Fame with which I feel pretty good about yeah no that is cool that's really cool I can't wait to find out why you've been why that's happened see I don't know cuz it's going back for seven years some of the categories so it's going back to the actual launch it could be something you did the remember well some things like

the highest gam score on Xbox like one since come out which I don't I know I've jumped up my rankings but there's guys that are a lot more in front of me um a number of achievements is another one okay so not actual gamer score but number of achievements but yeah I don't know I mean compared to me I imagine if if Microsoft was like let's compare two random people and they happen to pick us you would win yep yes easily yeah cuz I played my Xbox a fair bit like but you you really committed to playing Xbox I probably got more gamer score in October than you got in the last two years yep yeah I'm not going to argue with that I think I got about 16,000 I've got an achievement in in October I'm got an achievement in months oh I think the last achievements I got

were the Minecraft ones and then I haven't gotten any since then I've been playing games I've been playing uh Assassin's Creed Odyssey and I've been playing no man's Sky just not getting any achievements because I'm just playing the games but you accidentally come across some chiev wouldn't you not in a while I guess I'm doing it wrong well yeah but I just play for the achievements yeah well congratulations thank you I'm a bit upset the one thing I'm upset about watching the announcement or the launch was I saw how good watchog Legion looks on the series X oh yeah I've already finished it of course you have how many hours of uh game play is that um to get 100% in a game it's like people are saying like 35

to 40 hours 100% of all achievements I haven't got 100% say [ __ ] hell but I reckon that's a bit Overkill you can do it in 30 it came out what last week yeah what so was it good are you going to willing to do a review was it a good game I it was missing things for me doesn't sound like missing the side it was missing the side quests like even in Watch Dogs 2 there was like being an Uber driver and take photos of this it was missing that type of stuff I was missing that Living World right and I all I ended up doing is just fast traveling everywhere right okay okay which sort have sucked because I was looking forward to walking around London and going hey I've been here yeah cuz it

is London but I just end up fast traving just finishing the game did you play as the old lady I played as everyone okay which is something which I think why I didn't quite like it I play CU you're a racist no the reason why I don't think I quite liked it is grw no attachment to any of the characters oh okay cuz you can recruit anyone in a game that's actually I read online that people were saying that like it's very difficult to care about any of the like towards the end of the game I was using them as canf like run in die work out where you need to go and then the next person that goes in I know where to go and I don't have to worry about stuff now yeah okay it's a good idea but I just don't think they pulled it off great well I'm

probably not going to play that to be honest I just not fussed about it I'm looking forward to playing Assassin's Creed for holla yeah see I'm going to wait on that I guess too because I've got Odyssey and Origins that I can play if I want to and well what do you you've got an Xbox series X coming what are you going to play on it cyber Punk but that doesn't come out for like five weeks but I mean it'll play all my games it will but don't you want something that's going to look a bit nicer yeah but I'm not going to I don't know maybe seems like it's like a waste of money it going to buy a game for the sake of it I'm like well you conso just for the sake of it no I didn't I wanted the console I wasn't going to get one

this year if I didn't order pre-order one no and that's the funny thing that's even happening in New Zealand at the moment so they've just done the launch for it but their deliveries Del late so they're not actually going to get it for another day so were they supposed to get you proba have yours oh they're going to get theirs on the 11th on the 11th so you will likely have yours before New Zealand even though they're officially the launch country mine is in New Jersey according to the uh FedEx which that could make it to you in a day that could get hereit todayy if they wanted to but they maybe don't want to yeah so we'll see mine is sitting in New Zealand not New Zealand I mind

sitting in Sydney yeah went from Melbourne to Sydney and I was s like too far by camera bring it back Drive 4 hours the other way so I keep refreshing it every like 5 to 15 minutes and it's still just sitting there it's been sitting there for like 8 hours now could have been here could have been playing it for eight hours yeah that's all right I can be patient I'm actually still on my website DHL it says it's not coming till Thursday which what it's not a it's not a bad thing oh sure because you yeah you said you don't want it early cuz you'll not go to work yeah cuz if I get it I want to play it not so if it gets Clos to the weekend I'm okay with see I don't see doesn't want I don't have that problem cuz I got nothing to play on

it I'm literally just going to unplug my SSD from this plug it into that and then uh I'm good done yep now I've got also got my ex hard drive coming for it as well oh the expans expansion slot God that's expensive yeah well I haven't bothered with it because I haven't got any games yet so it's not like I'm going to fill it up I know I will but the card is like half the cost of the Xbox yeah I know that's why I was like [ __ ] that and that's the other thing too I cuz I was considering an Xbox One S to go in here but then it's only got 500 gig of storage and only 350 of it is usable so yeah and so I've got to if I've got to buy that expansion thing to like get space on it I've just bought an Xbox series X so yeah so you might as well

just get the bigger one stupid so yes I'm a bit upset that it's only one gig like even the expansion card is one gig sorry terabyte right terabyte sorry yes being stupid yeah I think I did the same thing we're living in the past 500 megabytes that's not even but no it's no but so I just I don't know to me even the expansion I would have liked get like a two tbte at least yeah they I mean they will that's why I was like I know but I'm just very impatient no I know and it's only one slot right um I believe so which I got a shock over which I you know you can just swap a minute out as you need to but it would just be nice to have two yeah but it might be expensive cuz it's that super

fast yeah thing like it's the load times are meant to be like cut it down from Xbox One X to the series X like a quarter of time I've seen videos of um a pce on her play her which could could sort of give you like a minute back of your day yeah no break it down the switching between games man it's going to be so cool oh yeah so cool cuz like like even when you do like a a full restart your save state is still there so just load back up I [ __ ] awesome cuz there's nothing worse than especially cuz I'm part of the beta for the Xbox updates yeah so I get probably more updates than most people ly d no it's not good because you'll be in the middle of a game and goes up I've got an update oh right now mine tends to do that while I'm asleep yep no mine

tends to do that while I'm playing bummer oh so by the time uh this episode comes out we should have our Xboxes I think maybe I really hope so I should have two by then so we'll definitely have something to say about it next week except Dan because he didn't pre-order so maybe he would better if he wasn't here next week that's all we're gon to be talking about uh something else something else happened this week uh you probably heard about it uh we don't talk about too much because we don't really do politics much here on this show but uh well in theory we've a new president over here in theory stter maybe we'll see

yeah so uh so that's a thing yeah that was a very interesting few days yeah tell me about it the one thing that I think the world is annoyed about it went really fast and then stopped well it's complicated and I don't know all the facts because I mean there's a lot lot of moving pieces to this but I think a lot of that is to do with um it's all the mailin ballots right so there's a big difference between a walk-in ballot and a mail-in ballot in that a walk-in ballot has already been verified and you just kind of count them a mailin ballot they've got to open it they've got to match the signatures then they've got to move it on to the next thing it's like there's a lot of [ __ ] I think was weird about like

a lot of States just finished and then there was like a few well that seemed to take forever apparently that's because they were told those states that took longer were told they weren't allowed to far as I can tell I'm not an expert but I don't think that's true they send out [ __ ] tons of registration forms you have to register for a mail ballot and look ah I I could be wrong on this and if if there's some evidence to suggest I'm wrong fine but as far as I know they did not send ballots to anybody who didn't ask for them and but still at the end of the day if you don't want to vote you just don't fill in the ballot exactly right well you just don't fill in the registration form and then they won't send you one and if you if you asked for

one and you didn't get it well then say something cuz someone probably pinched it and voted on your behalf like I mean maybe that happened but I mean how how many cases are that are there going to be so the big thing now is that Trump's saying that it's invalid and yeah that they cheated want to recount and all that kind of stuff but I don't know that's going to make much of a difference we'll see but that's kind of how he rolls he's more of a he I guess he's so used to suing people for things that this is just business as usual for him the courts as side yeah so but if what yeah so been fun few days but yeah just weird how it went to like 264 and then just stopped I know and also the weirdest one was Nevada CU

there's not that many people there but then I somebody said that it's because they um they had a judge uh ruling on each um ballot that was kind of unclear like if there was a problem with the ballot that have a judge have a look at it so that kind of [ __ ] can slow things down because everyone was trying to be really careful this time I think which is I think why a lot of people are upset that you know that people are saying that it was you know fraud or whatever uh if people were trying to be really careful this time so anyway and also [ __ ] pandemic on why are the 70 million does America care about that anymore didn't want to die well things I think things will change a lot uh even when Biden takes over so January 20 is the date that the new president starts

work so yeah um between now and then we'll see what happens and then if he starts then I think probably things will change he said he was going to you you guys are just hitting records now like it's just insane records RH Island we um we're on new restrictions now we've got a curfew of 10 p.m. oh wow and uh you got to be in your own home it say she was very specific 10 10: p.m. to uh I think 5:30 a.m. or something like that you've got to be in your own house because they think a number one reason Rhode Island got bad is cuz a number of late night House Parties apparently I don't know who the [ __ ] doing that really yeah I don't know they had protesters here in Rhode Island asking for a recount and it was like in Rhode Island like really like you've been

Democrat forever B won by a lot here I don't I think I think you guys might be wasting your time maybe head on down in Georgia maybe oh they're already doing a recount there just go back to bed yeah uh yeah coron virus cases here are up so we're uh lock down I mean I don't have to do anything differently I've been social distancing and doing everything so you've even started to build your own desk I have I'm not using it yet obviously it's in construction under construction how's it going it's going well well I got half I was I'm not I'm new to the whole building stuff right as you know Candy Man exactly but I'm I'm I enjoy it it's fun uh I'm liking it um I built the workbench that I built my desk on that was fun but about halfway through putting

the desk together which is going to sound stupid because I literally all I did was was join bits of wood together it's not not that difficult but I had to drill little pocket holes to like screw the to glue and then screw the pieces together and halfway through I was like I could have just bought a [ __ ] desk yep that's what I did cuz I am not uh handy person I'm not someone who's going to go and build stuff unless it's a flat pack well see I was thinking now I'm like no but this is going to look nice cuz I'm building it's going to have like a rustic look I'm going to stain it it's going to look really nice but then halfway through I I made a couple of mistakes that I think are fine cuz I can always sand things and and there's a couple things are

[ __ ] up but I was like what if this doesn't look good and then what if this looks like a child made it which is possible uh we'll see at the end of the day you know who's going to see it you cuz you're allow to have anyone over so fine yeah Gina is going to find me if I have anyone over so that's the governor not not some random person okay and then and then I might uh I might bu get a a standing sit standing converter uh frame for it I'm going to use this Frame at first the one I've got here now yeah and I'm going to put desktop on it but then I might get another one and um the reason I'm building it too is because I wanted it to be a specific SI for the that I have here and I figured you like it large exactly I like it I like a

deep well that's why I actually just went and brought a desk that's a lot larger so I've got the three screens on here now but I also got a sit stand so I've also got a charger built into it hey that's nice so I just put my phone on the desk and it starts charging oh that's fancy I wonder if I can probably too late I could probably rout a hole in mine and stick something in there but well I don't know how this charger thing works cuz it's the thing that Clips onto the bottom oh goes through the desk it goes through the desk but when I put my phone directly onto it it didn't work it had to have the space between of the desk for it to work which interesting I don't know it's magic see I've got a wireless charger on my bedside table I actually I've got one here I just don't

use the one in here very much they're terrible for power and the environment but I don't care I'm lazy [Laughter] oh don't tell me that are they really um someone at work was telling me but I don't know I have to look into that now I think it's more so because they I think they're always on and I suppose it probably wastes a lot versus plugging it in you know what now that you've said that I'm like ah I've ruined I've ruined wild I'm research even though I know nothing about it I mean my power bill hasn't been much higher so how bad could it be yeah exactly you think I'd be paying for it if there was a massive power loss or you could be saving a dollar a month oh man that would be a

dream we've got to follow up on something uh we dropped the ball last week we we did and I realized this after we finished recording yes I was editing and I was like wait a minute Luke never said whether Sean connory was geek of the week or not so you've had a week to think about it now because you just admitted that you thought about afterwards look I'm going to have to give it to him all right on what ground on well that he Sean connory and I just watched Highlander again and it's awesome yeah okay I'm with you on that that is a great movie I agree Jenna didn't like it but uh I mean yeah to grow up I guess you have to be there yeah but and I assumed he stopped hitting women at some point so I watch because I was trying to get that clip

for for last week's episode to put it in there and I was on YouTube looking for searching Conor slaps and there's a compilation on YouTube how many times he slapped women it's it's James Bond or all the connory James Bonds every time he hits women and it's it's a it's a lot it's a long video it's longer than it needs to be he he's he is a menace so some of them body General You could argue some of them are warranted some of them are warranted some of them because there's a there's a spy who won't tell him you know the fact so he starts slapping her around but then there's other times where he's just like shut up oh man see that's why it made it so hard to I mean but give it to him or not that's that's James Bond though that's

not Sean connory the problem is that yeah but remember con he yeah yeah oh those are I actually uh improved those scenes I can't what you talking about like you give her the last word but then she keeps going so yep really what a guy geek of the week sure connory GE last all right so confirmed let me Mark that off follow up we'll do the Luke follows up on a thing jingle as well yep Luke follows on a thing thank you getting good at that this year we've got uh a candidate for Geek of the week this week too since we're on that top we do yeah I don't know that you're you're going to go with

this one Alex tbec host of Jeopardy uh has died um I mostly know Alex tbec from the Saturday night Saturday Night Live sketches the the Jeopardy ones where was he actually honored no no no no no no no uh and well they were also with Shan connory who was not sha Conor and I'll take the rapist for 400 yeah shock at tbec so that's how I know Alex tbec but he he was the host of Jeopardy uh well-loved and died of uh of cancer I believe at the age of 80 and uh look what do you think I think I'm going to have to give it to him all right yep it's a bit easier with this one I don't really it seems like he was a nice guy yeah so I mean no skeletons in the

closet so far no we'll wait a couple more years for that to come out yeah like Mr Rogers yeah who we have confirmed was not a pedophile but the trailer for it is just so creepy uhhuh I still won't watch it but yeah I haven't seen but no I don't TC I don't know it's Jeopardy has been a part of our lives forever yeah even in Australia where we didn't have it no I think we had did we have an Australian Jeopardy at some point I think I feel like we did we might I know it was on TV at some point it could have just been the American one butth we didn't tend to do that when I was a kid like we'd have our own versions of things because we

had our own Wheel of Fortune right wait did they even have Wheel of Fortune we did no now I don't even know that yeah okay yes yeah so maybe we had our own no I I think we did but even tbec we we heard of him we saw Clips so yeah and also he'd every every now again he have nerdy questions on there yeah yeah stuff about Nathan fillian and Star Wars so yeah Nathan fillian and Star Wars in case you wondering how Luke ranks things they had the two just jumped into my head that I know that were on there yeah I'm sure there were other stuff almost certainly all right so Alex TRC geek of the [Music]

game where it was like a yeah where it was a single player game and then it got to the point where you now have to grind to get prettiest gear and power and I stopped playing all right uh well I guess a lot of people stopped playing or didn't start playing because it's apparently uh $63 million in the whole at this point so not good not good but also I'm I'm also hoping that they start to learn that this is not what people want h like with these grindy games like Destiny and stuff some of them are going to be good most of them aren't going to get people going for and they need to stop well this is reminded me more of like a mobile game uh than you know like those shitty mobile games where it's

like you it's not really even a game it's just like you watch a bunch of stuff happen and then you spend money to make it happen differently yeah well look I when I was playing and playing as like um M Marvel like it was actually an interesting game watch watching her sort of sort of come into the character she was and watching that and finding getting all the Avengers back together it was actually fun but oh I know this has more of a game than I think some of those other ones but yeah but no just they need to stop trying to make a game that's going to continue to make the money for years good luck with that and that's what they're trying yeah yeah they want it to be a online service I want it to

be yeah GTA online or GTA online is a [ __ ] phenomenon though like that's still just printing money for played it but did they even intend for this or was that just an accident um I think they they planned for it okay all right cuz they they didn't there was never ever going to be um like single player DLC or anything it was uh this is it and then they double down on it with Red Dead online for Red Dead 2 no single player DLC but I don't think that did as well oh yeah yeah I haven't heard much about that everyone what like GTA online everybody talks about still they still play it Red Dead online haven't anyone talking about I think the reason for that is with Red Dead uh GTA online you can release new cars and stuff but Red Dead like you can't really release that many horses

carriages yeah and like with like GTA you can go over the top with stuff like jetpacks flying cars but you can't really do that West well you could that'd be fun you could but but yeah I games is a service that's here a stay unfortunately but I don't like it stop it yeah uh so I'm surprised and and pleas I'm pleasantly surprised that they didn't do that with um squadrons oh I think EA were worried about doing that because of the backlash they got for Battle Front Battlefront yeah yeah cuz uh so they went oh there you go that's a game up my new Xbox I'll I'll re it and cuz squadrons it's I it's not a $100 game yeah it's a $60 game and it was good yeah I enjoyed it I I mean I didn't not enjoy it I just yeah couldn't play it couldn't play it I mean I could

play it but it sounded oh God was I tried I I really did try I just love the whole thing that it's like you're in the cockpit like that's how you play the game it's not third person it's yeah so I really recommend like playing it like full immersive well I will when I can y when this tomorrow yeah not on this Xbox when it arrives in a few hours no no it's uh over 24 hours for me it's not going to be here until late tomorrow you know you never know it might get there early I can't do anything with it anyway it's going to be tomorrow night at the earliest I'm just going to get a re refresh just in case that has moved and here it is it

is still in Sydney has moved I'm sure mine's still in New Jersey it might move up to to Providence today but they're not going to deliver it I bet it's probably got one of those things where it's like don't deliver it till X day I think they you can do that right well in Australia um some of the ones that were sent out by Big W they actually arrived on Friday what for some people and saying I should have ordered else yes but Microsoft went like you got it early play it like like they were going to be able to stuff for you like what are they going to do no put it back in the box if you turn this on we're going to disable it you'll never be able to play we're going to break it yeah so when Assassin's Creed origin comes out to not origin Valhalla comes

out tomorrow valala comes out tomorrow and it's it's properly Xbox series X enhanced because one of the things I don't know so uh we've been talking about cyberp punk I don't think we talked about this uh and listener Nate wrote in with this information cyberpunk at launch is on Xbox series X is not going to be that different the the Next Generation update doesn't come out till next year I was actually looking at valala like on the launch video Yeah didn't look that great great to be honest so well this is my thing right so I could in theory play cyber Punk on this Xbox if it'll [ __ ] work oh I wouldn't play it on that Xbox if that kind of were on Star

Wars like that's that's a 7-year-old Xbox that's let it die yeah Fair yeah but you could play it on a newer Xbox one uh I the only the newer new the newest one we have is Jenner and it's not that new it's still that model like it's not one of still the it's it's still the 500 Meg it's not the terabyte it's the terabyte one oh it's a terabyte so it is the next one up oh is it so there's actually a difference yeah the the launch model was uh 500 gab yeah yeah yeah but is there a difference other than the hard drive I think they might there would have been some improvements not

and honestly it was looking like do you remember rise yes that Roman game that game is still probably one of the best looking games yeah right on the Xbox one and it even that looks better than for Creed Odyssey looks good like I mean but um I mean it's probably about as good as this Xbox could make something look yeah but so I wonder what that's going to look like uh I guess I guess you'll find out soon but the other thing is I've not played any of these games in 4k because I have not this thing can't do 4K this thing can only do 1080p Max well here's the thing I'm actually looking at I'm actually too concerned about graphics yeah that's fair like I'm looking at the speed that they'll go but I'm also

last month M when they accidentally there was a system and I got charged early yeah I then got charged for it again a couple of days ago M and I'm gone well that's not right but then I've had a look I don't have either charge on my account anymore oh all right so maybe they be like sorry yeah but it's been shipped yeah but I don't I can't see that I've paid for it well I mean so might be getting two free xbo say anything that's like uh [ __ ] Amazon I I was deba I don't think I've talked about this yet I've been getting my groceries from Whole Foods via the Amazon app because I we have Prime in that so it's like free delivery and Y uh I haven't found the prices to be that different um cuz we buy a lot of

vegetarian stuff so I think that's more expensive in general being a vegetarian that's normally something you would do yeah it's more expensive um so we've been getting a whole Whole Foods delivered but not only is it seemingly the price similar I have had a number of orders refunded due to fairly minor mistakes right I didn't ask for them to refund it they just keep refunding them for things and and so I've the honestly I think three times really yeah like the full order or just yeah they left a bag of nectarines off the order and because they couldn't figure out what happened to it they just refunded the whole thing cuz I think Amazon is such a big machine that I guess that's just the easiest way to do it so just do that entire thing

and they lost a bag that just had some nectarines in it refund there was one time I ordered and it was supposed to come uh fairly late in the evening just cuz that was the slot they had available the driver never showed up they had to bring it the next morning for free they refunded it and they brought it for free and I was like all right right then I'm not going to complain and then I can't remember what the other one was but yeah just so okay yeah so I'm just going to keep ordering from Whole Foods and hopefully uh more often than not I won't have to pay for it yeah if well even if one out of 10 orders they just refund it's still pretty awesome they I mean Amazon in general is pretty good I found with that kind of stuff they you know

they'll refund things or take them back but I was just I just didn't expect that like especially when you're not asking for it or anything right all I said was uh nectarin aren't here no no she well she dropped them off and then she cuz they can't come they can't you know it's contactless because of Co so she called me from outside and said there's a bag missing I'm going to go find out what happened and then I got a refund I didn't ask for one a bag of Nectars like he just I know $4 like where Australian like oh that's all right you'll fix me up next time yeah exactly nope refund um and then yeah the guy coming late I was like [ __ ] that's all right I'll just go to bed and like if it's here in the morning it doesn't make that much of a difference

and then they were like sorry for the inconvenience no charge okay I figet fig what the other one was but well it's working because you keep going back to them F I will keep going back to him I can't imagine trying to get that from any other place like No in fact if I went to the store and I left the bag of nectarin or something there I'd be like [ __ ] write those off going all the way back to the store just to get them so Whole Foods listeners I recommend you give it a shot the delivery it's free Whole Foods and Amazon Prime yeah you just got tip the driver make sure you tip the drivers they're a good service let them know sent you there's a pandemic on and

is it the lizard guy Canadian show the Frog person is that Mr Kim no it's one of the x-ing oh okay and those those x-wings rocking up saying hey we're from the new those xwing rocking up and going hey we're from the new Republic that was just so awesome it made me remember what I used to love about Star Wars yeah yeah solid show man is a good episode this one I mean this one in my opinion wasn't as good as the first one the first one was [ __ ] awesome this one was good uh and solid the first one like made me want to go watch Tremors yeah so cool with that I don't know I I'm just so happy that the season is still as strong as the first oneit worried when it's so like Star

Wars and weird but it's so creepy and wrong like that's the humor in the episode it's eating the alien's children so funny and even the little sneaky one at the very end yeah I know I know it was like I I I was like I wonder if Disney were like I don't know cuz it was a little I thought it was funny but it was a little funny but then but you actually think about what he's doing but just that whole that [ __ ] frog thing like a such good quality weird Star Wars so good mhm and those uh Spider things were designed by Ralph mccy back in the day oh wow they're in his original art for um deab bar see I don't know it just keeps getting it's just good and make more of this yeah hopefully they will I can't get enough of baby

theme do they have mean life day I was about to say do they have Christmas and then I realized of course they [ __ ] do yep and that's something that's coming out later this month um the Lego Star Wars holiday special I don't think I care about that it just remade the holiday special in Lego like all right no but it's got new stuff with like Po and stuff it's going to be a Lego creepy Lego watching a a weird Lego stripper you really need to get past that first 20 minutes of the holiday special because it's so boring with that no cuz it just doesn't stop god with lumpy lumpy lumpy [ __ ] George what were you thinking um George had nothing to do with that so he says he he

was on holidays and they made thats but I don't know some of the Lego stuff I've seen is actually quite funny yeah all right maybe I'll maybe well I've got to get value out of my Disney Plus subscription that I've got for the next eight weeks well you know what I'll get to finally watch next month tenet because it's coming out oh on uh on Blu-ray and digital and all that crap next month they were talking about I was worried cuz they said they had been saying oh maybe not till next year they were going to try and give it a good run in the theaters but then I think they've given up on that thank God so uh December 15th I think yeah December 15th tenant comes out and uh you know digital Blu-ray

whatever yep so I will be watching it finally okay I'm excited let me know what you think I'm not that excited I still haven't seen I've got no no desire to yeah I guess people have SED on Christopher Nolan a bit not not in general I think I haven't s on him but I don't I've watched a few of his movies just recently and I don't get the deal really oh yeah cuz you watched Inception and interstella right he didn't like yeah and he likes to end on the not going to tell you what happen you decide if it's real or not or and I just yeah just tell me what I meant to think like don't you the way he plays with

time in all of those movies no not really and this one isn't tenant meant to be about time or something yeah I I'm intentionally not looking that up but yes it's a paland Drome tenant so yeah it's I think it's about time going forwards and backwards in some way but I don't know exactly what I'm just going to wait see so just I have a I have a feeling that it's going to end on our it's going to end the where started probably I'm that's going to be the the the end is going to be in the middle or something weird yeah we'll uh I'll report back on December 16th after I watch it yep after you watch it let me know let me know if I'm right I will I'm normally right know that happens a lot I know something I won't be watching anymore is Castle Rock cuz it's been

canceled what's Castle Rock Castle Rock is a very good show on I think it's on Hulu in my case um it's like a a a show that's based in the world of Stephen King so like it kind of it set up so that all of Stephen King's stories took place in the world that this is set in and it's about some of the people sometimes from those stories like season 2 was about what's he the girl from um misery I forget her name oh it's got Lizzy Kaplan in it I like her yeah mate she's [ __ ] fantastic in season two yeah yeah yeah it's really it's it's yeah I'm annoyed it was really good season one was good and season two was good they they were different like

not it's more like an anthology thing season one and season two well I mean they were related but they're not like yeah it's sort of like those things like they they this but sort of different characters and people exactly right yes with some crossover you yeah yeah same world which that works for me yeah I might see if I can work out how to watch it in Australia then but that's good that's why they canceled it exactly yeah I'm surprised I don't know I don't know why did they they say why in here no PL I can watch on binge oh yeah all right you've got binge binge is such a horrible I do have binge it really is and it's the worst app ever I'm watching Storage Wars on there at the moment

yeah and every time an episode ends it crashes so I it's really hard to binge if it just crashes every time that's that sucks God I love storage walls it's terrible I haven't watched Storage Wars in a while we've been watching The Great British baking show uh which is airing so nice in that show aren't they such a good show and also they've got cuz um it's null fielding and Matt Blas are now the two kind of Comedy hosts you know that Lucas from um Little Britain the that CFE Little Britain but oh okay but he's he's funny in this in a more mainstream way you might Wholesome Way yeah exactly right yeah yeah that's what I don't the great it's just cuz it is so wholesome and nice and fun there's

no swear or you [ __ ] this up or it's so good yeah I know even when they're mean they're kind of like mean in a nice way yeah like you really tried here we could see what you were doing but unfortunately yeah even when when holidays being like critical he's like not good is it h oh well you did your best yeah and I think that's why people like it cuz it is just so nice no I I really enjoy it I hate baking but I really like it uh I don't hate baking I just it's a lot of effort baking you know yeah I enjoy eating the stuff when once I've baked it but it's teing live not live sorry but like week to week so I've run out of episodes this season now oh no yeah they've gone back to week to we stuff we

we got I thought we were past this and now they've gone back to it Mandalorian I don't think they were back to it it's just you caught up to it no but it's on Netflix it's on Netflix Netflix is supposed to just all be there I got confused last night cuz it the episode ended and then it was like do you want to watch last season I was like no I want to watch the next one of this season and then it was like well you got to wait I'm starting to like this week to we stuff again though I really am you pay attention more true if you if if you're watching three to four episodes back to back like you you Tunes out sometimes yeah I will say this Mand the Mandalorian we got into a kind of habit of wake up Saturday morning and watch it you know in bed and

Y that's quite nice so that's what we've been doing yeah so all right that's why I I quite like it it's still you can still watch it whenever you want yeah but you still have to wait and but when you wait you have to enjoy it more you have to we get to enjoy it legally required that you enjoy it [Laughter] exactly yeah so yeah great Bri B show thumbs up and then I don't know that I've watched anything else recently no just it's been for me it's storage walls and Mandalorian there was a crime show that we started watching that was quite good um but I'll come back to that because I've only watched one episode okay and it was so it may not be good it wouldn't be good for you because it's it's set in Argentina and uh they

speak do I have to read yeah yeah Luke don't read that's right you'd be like I don't know who I don't know what happened to this woman anybody they just never said they just made Funny Mouth noises and they never explained anything no yeah no I I I can't pay attention anymore to stuff like that yeah cuz I'm normally when I'm watching that it's I'm also playing a game but you used to read books do you not read books I used to read books when I was on the train and I used to read like two books a week yeah cuz you you consumed Halo novels yes Halo Gees of War aliens Star Wars then I moved to cber and there are no trains here then I stopped reading and now I can't read anymore and I try

and do audible books audio books can't do them either I I can't focus enough for them really h i I try and I I ear a lot of audio books now yeah cuz I sign up for a subscription that I've can't cancel why can't you cancel every time I cancel I cancel it and then they go hey would you like to come back and pay $3 a month for the next three months and then I sign up again then I forget about it and then I get like six months worth of credits they go if you don't use them they're going to disappear yeah so then you got to buy some books no I'm not subscribed to Audible right now but I do jump back in usually if I'm like once I I've been lazy and not using the treadmill once I get back on the treadmill if once if I exhaust

travel bubble which means that Us and other countries that have been good we we be able to travel again well hopefully things will change and then there's America well yeah yeah well not just us the UK as well most Europe UK's gone into second lockdown now yeah but yeah I think us New Zealand South Korea and Japan all right that's where I'm going to go spend my birthday in Japan hugging Donald No hugs duck I can make an exception for Donald Duck yeah I don't think the Corona virus infects Ducks I also don't think Donald Duck supports Pat flu or something yeah there's nothing to worry about with that anymore I think who thinks about that I think we solve flu Aven flu it's all
