[Music] welcome to multiple nerdgasm with your hosts Matt Luke and Dan multiple nerdgasm your guide to All Things nerdy guys I'm taking a huge risk doing this podcast right now huge risk go on so the true achievements competition I'm in at the moment the that this round ends at midnight tonight so in an hour and a half oh you've got 24 hours basically oh no okay gotcha 18 hours my my my my hour and a half right right right yeah the problem is is I'm not really above the elimination line by a lot oh in fact there's only 37 people beneath me in that you have been inducted into the

Xbox Hall of Fame yeah surely they they give you some kind of handicap now when you're going for these achievements no they don't and people on this website can be a bit toxic but yes so just yeah just want everyone know this is what I'm doing for our listeners right now while you're recording the show so did you say there's 37 people Beneath You y so like 37 people have to be eliminated before you'll be eliminated that seems fine or is that no that's that's can that can change very quickly I mean how many people competing because I I'm assuming more than about 40 people are like seems pretty good position at this point well no my position is 680 they they eliminate sort of 20% of everyone in a competition every week

just whatever they feel like Dan you can never tell you just got to be really careful because you know so yeah it's everyone beneath position 715 will get eliminated they've said 715 is the magic number this week watch yourselves and next week it'll be 20% again and yeah right just goes down so I've now the position I'm recompete no no no this you get eliminated you're out and it's a 26 we competition [ __ ] drive around a kneecap your mate what week are we doesn't make any sense you don't play the Xbox with your knees but they do it anyway [ __ ] sick we're only in round six which is yeah I I I would have expected to make around 10 but now you don't want the unnecessary stress in your life well with this it's a lot

harder than it was in years past so now it's only based on there's a this website true achievements they use a ratio of the achievements so it's not actually the gamer score it's how much how hard it seem to be to get the achievement if that makes sense so they they've got to tally they work out how many people have the game how many people have unlocked certain achievements and then they play they just created a job for themselves basically which is kind of the dream isn't it where they like you know what I'm going to I've decided I'm going to be someone who determines how hard achievements actually are on the Xbox that's going to be my job so do they let you know ahead of time which games give you the more difficult achievements well

no because that's the thing like when a new game comes out it'll like Skyrock it up quite High when everyone starts gets the game start playing it and then it goes down it takes about a month or two for it to Plateau to its actual level what I mean is do you know when you're being scaled higher or lower based on the game you're playing it's always changing is it okay is the difficulty based on just how many people got the achievement or is it based on someone actually physically sits down and goes this one's pretty hard no they just work out how many people have the game and how many people have all those people that have the game how many have unlocked that particular achievement yeah right but is this also peer reviewed are people like posting Forum

somewhere going oh okay I've had [ __ ] trouble with this so this is they just all they do is they just basically use the Xbox API so they log in they get the statch from there and then okay system works it out for them now this year they're doing a slight difference where in years past what they've done is they've also included the gamer score this year they're just including the difference between the gamer score and the true achievement worth so say you had a particular hard achievement and that was like 10 game score but it was actually on their rating would be 100 right so you would get 90 points from that oh but if you got a particular easy achievement that was like everyone gets it so there are some games where you get an achievement for hitting the button yeah

finishing the tutorial yeah so that one that would be 10 and it would be worth 10 so you'd get no points for that yeah right so it's all about trying to get people to play those harder achievements and yeah so I can't just exactly grab an easy game and do it but it's also made me stop playing other games I think the way to beat this is to play very very hard games but that you've already played but not on the same account well what why would I do that and people do do that then you're getting difficult achievements that are scaled high but that you already know well people in the Hall of Fame there was some like short-term competitions like in the next three weeks most person people to get the most achievements in

that three weeks people went and created old accounts and things like that just to go and do that because I could get 100,000 in a weekend pretty much maybe not quite a weekend but a week easy there are games that you can finish in five minutes like 100% done and here's me just playing games I like for fun like IDI I will only ever the only time I ever maybe get my other account out is when I need to play co-op with yourself yourself I don't like play with people wait wait wait wait wait so you have another paid Xbox Live account no because it's on oh on your Xbox my home console I just shares yeah so as far as I know L doesn't pay for any of his accounts anymore oh yeah good

point they just hand him to um no I've actually I think I'm paid up to 2023 now or something once they send me my new year subscription my situation with that has changed slightly this week which we could talk about but I wanted to ask do you get any kind of Advantage being on a different Xbox to a lot of people because I imagine in that room right now we haven't talked about this yet you've got a different Xbox correct I do I now have my Xbox series X just the one my Xbox my box yeah I haven't sent my other one yet I've heard that they're sending out this week and the Xbox One X is sitting just there which I don't use anymore yeah sort of sad I've already I'm happy I got the extra hard drive for my series X because I've already filled up one

terabyte well I'm glad I didn't because I have not I it didn't take long at all it's actually take me a while I also went and brought a new steering wheel for it really even though I had a steering wheel a Logitech released a new one the g923 in August which is meant to be really good went out and got that and I was looking forward to sitting down and playing dirt five which is a new racing game came out dirts somehow they thought it would be a good idea to release a driving game that doesn't support steering wheels yet huh all right I I'm so conf fused by that was a choice they made so I spent a lot of money on the steering wheel I spent a

lot of money on the game and it's going to sit there for about a month until they patch it so I can use them to get see I was going to say you could play like I think Forza supports it's got the Xbox series X upgrade but you've already probably got all the achievements in that haven't you so it's not interesting to you no I was actually playing it today and got a few there some I still haven't got I do enjoy it but I'm not the greatest at it and some of the there are some achievements where I'm just not going to try for some people say they're not the greatest at things and it's hyperbole when Luke says it he's like I'm not going to do it unless I can literally be the greatest at it well things like I don't like to do I don't like to play with people and one

of them is complete five player versus player races and I don't want to do it because I don't know sometimes when I have tried to play with people they're just quite mean and you don't even want to play [ __ ] shadow account well why would I play with my shadow account if I don't I would get achievements but on my shadow account which means nothing to me but surely you can play against yourself to get the achievement that you've played five games against someone could probably do that now I've got the two Xboxes up here yeah there you go maybe Matt Luke's not the only one who has the new Xbox you've got one there too right I do I do what are you thinking of it uh well I I I think I was a little stressed cuz it does not fit in

my TV cabinet at all no way no how it is currently it's like that t like that TV I had Dan when we lived in no takes three of us to carry it up the stairs yeah the 120 kgr television that I bought it's it will not fit in the TV cam at all except for the way that I've got it now which is like the wrong way in on a shelf so there lying down in the long way so the controls are pointing to the left uh and I mean it's in there and I can use it so that's fine and got no it's it's big it's too big there's no shelf that it fits on cuz all the shelves are designed to take you know a device like you know like the the audio reason as long as you've got the fan pointing out I think you should be fine I mean it's been fine I've been

playing uh I mean I've been playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey pretty much exclusively on it which I do think is quite funny because it's not a Xbox series X enhanced game at all no but see I got the benefit of the fact that I never had a Xbox One X so just seeing that game in 4k blew my [ __ ] mind anyway and so I'm thoroughly enjoying it yeah and I wanted to ask what is what what games are there like what are the what is a Xbox series X game like what uh well Assassin's Creed fora is that actually or is it just like that well it's it's it's sort of hard to say it that because that also came out on the Xbox one yeah so my question is like honesty looks fantastic to me I think it looks [ __ ] beautiful

so is Valhalla just going to look the same or is it actually going to be noticeably better well I don't know because I haven't played it on the one I've only on the one I've only played on the series X now so just how it looks to me and it looks good no no but I'm saying okay but compared to Odyssey do you think it looks better than Odyssey I haven't played Odyssey in about two three years is it that old there you go be at least two years I'd say all right all right well I launched no man sky as well uh that does seem to look a little bit better I did I launched that and that does look a lot better from what I remember it but couldn't get back into it oh really yeah so that's basically the two things I've played on

it uh I'm waiting for uh cyberp Punk now which is also not series X enhanced at launch uh but that's fine cuz like I said I've never seen a series X enhanced game so far I'll just keep it that way until halfway through the game it'll switch over and you'll just be like huh this is nice yeah well look as I've been saying for a while now the thing I've been most looking forward to is just faster load times and the load times are amazing fast travel in Odyssey is like it's completely different now it just takes like two three seconds yep instead of the well I'm going to hit this and then I'm going to hit here for like 45 seconds yeah no it's [ __ ] real real first world problems when it takes like 45

seconds and I do have to thank Luke um for throwing me a bone here uh because you know I was I was starting to have some fomo have some regret we regret yeah just when you were talking about you know the possibility that they would arrive I would I was starting but you know Luke attempted to pre-order several yeah um and then was given one because [ __ ] um so so I've bought a pre-order off of Luke yes and uh I'll be getting one in a couple of weeks so it's literally a race now to see what gets here first my [ __ ] television from Singapore orbox I do want to make it clear to people I'm not making money off this it's no he's telling me something

because he's gotten something free but I'm not sort of Mark doing a mark up oh crap why is you recording a mark up but he's he's getting money for something he is also getting for free Luke's not recording I'm I'm not recording for some reason oh what foolish I tested this and it [Music] worked sorry about that that was my fault that's all right guys I can hear you in Stereo I no I export these in mono Dan yeah because we because each week we press a vinyl record of each episode oh that's right I forgot yeah listen Dan Dan man's a particular format of the show be delivered to him weekly yeah

with with great and new bile women what I was saying just before I realized I wasn't recording was that I'm not one of these people that went out and got pre-orders just to try and make money off no that's there is people out there that are selling them for like $1,000 to $1,500 those people are scum yes I do I do appreciate Luke sold his uh pre-order onto me for the recommended retail price in Australia which is more made dollar yeah you did you did we rounded off but I was baffled about all that because uh on the on the day on release day you know people were listing them for you know thousands thousands of dollars and everything like that and then I just went on an ordered one uh for the normal price so in fact not even for normal price Matt didn't you get

your second one on your like prepaid interest free rates I got I got yeah I got the uh uh Xbox all access is that what it's called I've got tab I think that's the same same as it's called here as well yeah I wasn't going to do that but then I went on to uh because I knew I saw that Walmart had them and I went on there and it said do you want to do you want to get it on all access and I was like well I might as well try it and then uh it went oh yeah no worri approved All That Jazz so can you just instead of paying that month to month just go hey I just want to pay it off now or do you have to do thing cuz are they hoping I guess they could cuz yeah they're hoping that people are just

going to default and that's how they will make money but there's no reason there's no reason where you'd need to this is with a credit union this is not with Microsoft so no no I don't mean Microsoft Oh you mean the credit union is hoping oh of course that's how they that's how they always they're always hoping happen yeah um but yeah I guess I could just pay this off probably I didn't think about that but yeah I got uh no you want money in your pocket Matt you want that money in your bank account oh I know with Z interest yeah yeah so I got Xbox series X and I got 24 months of Game Pass ultimate I did the math and it works yeah I did the math on it works out the Xbox series X was 20 bucks

cheaper Zer cents yeah I don't understand why uh but it is cuz nor when they try and get you onto a payment plan it's caus over the life of that plan you're going to be paying a lot more it could be something to do with the fact that CU in in this method of of buying it for some reason I paid less tax I don't don't ask me why because I don't understand how any of that works here whereas over 24 months Xbox game pass ultimate I'm paying more tax you know what I'm saying so maybe that's why it seems like the Xbox is cheaper to me cuz I'm paying less tax on the on Game Pass over which doesn't affect you I mean it's it's still just in your pocket [ __ ] whatever anyway this will arrive uh Wednesday that's great awesome so

I'll have two before Dan has one yeah y yeah mine my second one shipping this week the one that Microsoft is sending me for B being me mhm but luk people are asking me people are asking me why you're in the Hall of Fame and they're not saying it like why is Luke in the Hall of Fame they they're literally just asking is there a specific thing you did that got you okay what happened was I didn't actually come first in any of the categories mhm mhm one guy came first in two of them and with the prizes you could only win like one category but I came second in both of them and this is me without trying that's great without me actually trying like if I had known like when I signed up I G yeah I'll sign up I've got no

chance of winning mhm but then when I actually had a look at the guy who won in Australia and my score I've gone like I'm now in front of you if they had have kept that competition open for like a week more and we're talking about achievements earned from 2013 doesn't matter man doesn't matter I would have beat him so yeah you took you took one of his trophies mate and also you're at stallion 83 stallion 83 83 he's the first Xbox player to get um a million gamer score years ago mhm but he didn't win any of the the things he came in second in one and he gets inducted to Hall of Fame for that so I can if he can count it I'm taking it you

do what's the name of the guy who whose title you have now shared in um let me because whoever it is he knows your name because you are now his Nemesis well the funny thing is is there are people that are higher than both me and him so we're not quite sure how it worked or other people just didn't sign up for the competition I mean if there's one thing you do it sign up yeah money cuz like i' I've now actually drop back to 11 11th in Australia which kind of sucks I need to fix that yeah yeah but I've I got an achievement yesterday a while I I can't remember something in Assassin's Creed I think I just finished a chapter

of the game or something got to the next chapter got an achievement thanks thanks Ubisoft appreciate it um you got scourge of something achievement thanks for cl scourge of something achievement you been you getting a few gge word what what the [ __ ] does gge mean you've gotten you got two on the 13th two on the 14th and one on the 15th so you're lying to us now did I not tell me sometimes they it doesn't sometimes it just doesn't but that was a problem I had on the 1X I didn't think it was on the series X as well but so yes it is slightly off topic but speaking of Ubisoft yeah oh God yeah we had a big this is

confusing we we had an emotional roller coaster this week I think they had a bigger one oh yeah so we as in the community not yeah I'm [ __ ] confused about this so listeners if you missed this um halfway through the day a couple of days ago um it was reported that there was a hostage situation at the Montreal offices of Ubisoft um there was full of employees barricading thems on the roof of the building which would be terrifying there for 2 hours cops surrounding the B the building and over the next few hours we were waiting to to find out what happened and then it ended up dled employees a gamer coming in like is it something to do with being the

anniversary of the atts terrorist attack yeah because Ubisoft have had some Islam related content in the past that somebody might still be angry about um it was none of that oh and now Matt's gone is he back I'm here I'm here okay okay your voice is there but your face is not yeah sorry sure it's not your fault refes for some reason but yeah it just turned out to be a hoax but I'm confused how if it was a hoax like from a 911 call why people would barricade themselves but a hoax 911 call is still terrorism right like if if you called in and said someone's got a gun and everyone should get up on the [ __ ]

roof I think they need to start treating it like that and people need to be cuz people still find hoax is funny oh when you say hoax you don't mean like oh you like people were on the [ __ ] roof yeah yeah for 2 hours though were up there that's why I was confused when they said oh no it turns out it's nothing I mean what do you mean it's nothing why were they [ __ ] yeah obviously it's not nothing what and there's been no update since the police came out and went no there was no threat but and we evacuated everyone I'm s of if there was no threat why did you evacuate May wonder is there is it they just don't want to give it publicity if there was something like

language even when it was going they were very careful to not use the word hostage situation um I mean we we used it obviously but yeah I mean we certainly did we'll use it now we'll double down on it we will double we episode it was a hostage situation yeah but even on the even the stories I was reading it was there's a potential hostage situation and these people are barricading themselves on the roof and they can't get out to me that's a hostage situation yeah that were whether anyone was keeping them hostage or not they were hostages they kept themselves hostage what I'm what my theory for what happened was they did get a the police got a phone call the police called there and said hey we've heard this report and then intering going the intern at the front

desk has panicked cuz they've just had their their security training and a lot of places now will have like a code gray and a code black which is code gray is like get out or protect yourself code black is get ready to fight I don't know depends on you where you are yeah I'm think coming just had that training got got a bit eager when the police called and they've just acted and got everyone we're under attack we're assuming that that that the the [ __ ] pipeline of emergency communications in Canada is someone calls 911 or whatever the equivalent is and says I'm in the building and I've got a gun and the cops then instead of reacting to it or turning up on the scene they just ring Ubisoft and say yeah listen um there's a

crazed gunman somewhere in the building um respond to that however you want I'm assuming they would be sending police car out while they get they in to pick up the phone what I don't think they ring I don't think they ring I think they just respond I think they would I no I think they'd respond and they would ring maybe and then two hours later they went did you call Ubisoft and tell him it was a hoax oh no I forgot yeah but I mean were they as vague with the Ubisoft receptionist as they were with the Press hey yeah look this is the mon police I don't want to use the word hostage situation but you guys should probably barricade the like that I love imagine it was it was like a what do you call it a a fire drill and by barricading

themselves on the roof they failed oh yeah like yeah even the FES can't get up there now yeah what was what was the next phase of that plan although yeah I guess yeah we don't we really don't know and I mean it's good that we can make jokes about it now people were making jokes about it at the time on Twitter which was not appropriate yeah well even they this why I think people are the worst so people are making jokes about um Gavin Free being dead oh God what because of this no no because of at R turny sort of come out and gone please don't joke about this remember the time when we nearly got murdered that's a bit sensitive for us when a fan just broke into their house was planning to murder him yeah that was and then he

built in periods lasting longer than the lifetime of the people who built them if they didn't all just have the same big belief system no everyone do do one person I think maybe I think our president might agree with on a few of those points then it would be better if someone just you know told everyone what to do just one person made decision single Focus yeah yeah the idea of most religions is actually quite good but then there's the how you do it that is the problem what depends on what you mean cuz if it's just like be nice to each other absolutely like a lot of it is like be nice to people help people but then people go but you're not being nice to people the way that I think we

celebrities we've got some Chris Pratt news as well cuz he got canceled recently well that whole thing was weird he didn't get canceled he just got voted least the least good of four Chris's in Hollywood and then everyone got and then got upset about it and and then all people I thought this was so weird they did a there was a just a Twitter poll that said which who's the best Chris and it was Chris Pratt Chris Evans Chris Emsworth and Chris Pine yes Chris Pine yeah and um Chris Pratt came in last okay and then a whole bunch of celebrities came out and said don't worry Chris you'll get through this it's fine and I was like it's a [ __ ] Twitter poll they didn't say they hated him so just said but then because because of all that the media started

coming out going Chris Pratt voted worst Chris and I was like I I'm not sure that's it was such a weird phenomenon and then like separate Rel cuz he hates gays and I'm like no one said he hates gays he goes to a church that's not keen on them but but he just got got way out of hand and I was like [ __ ] hell like it's just it's just a Twitter poll mate people calm down yeah he's still the fourth best Chris yeah yeah there's a lot of Chris in the world plenty of Chris's that didn't even make it onto the list he's not behind them it's very strange but uh it gave people gave something for people able to talk about on news articles and that's true and we're talking about it so that's true except we're not making money off it no is the name maybe we could call this

podcast Chris Pratt hates the gays just to be just to get clicks you know what I mean I tell you clicks the thing I like about Chris Pratt is that he just doesn't even engage with any of this [ __ ] like he he just he's like nah [ __ ] is right he probably doesn't hate gays he doesn't seem like someone who would I think he I think he's because what could he possibly say yeah that would help cuz when when his church was getting held accountable you know a couple of years back and everyone was like well Chris what where do you come down he's like nothing to do with me mate yeah no comment not even he just I think he did say something about like he respects everyone and their choices stay away out

of I don't know him personally obviously he seems like a positive guy though so I'd like to have a beer with him he seems like a nice guy what beer do you reckon he drinks you know he did leave his wife and kid but uh you know that was a very strange sort of breakup that yeah again came out of I don't know anything about it but he didn't leave gay Matt maybe the kids's gay yeah and and Anna Faris was like I think we should encourage him to be gay and he was like see you later I'm after Annie's house he's like that might shock you that's not going to shock God who made you say that and made him Gay and made me hate gays that's religion yeah we've lost a few listeners I at this point if if those listeners have suck

with us this long we're almost at 400 mate we are calm compared to how we used to be oh Chris Brat's not listening anymore no I was trying to be nice yeah keep bringing up my gay son is it a boy is kid I think they do have a son yeah well like Anna Ferris girls can be gay as well Matt do you know what I did I did think it was odd that he when I found out he was as religious as he is I thought it was odd that he was with Anna Ferris cuz she seems like she's not and it sort of I mean based just based on the fact that she was in all the scary movies scary movie movies to me it seems he became more religious he became more religious after they separated I don't mean I plased it with jiz Dan yeah yeah I can see I can

see that Dan gets a look in his eyes that you can't see listeners I can just tell Dan like I'm just surprised she was religious that's all I'm going to say that's all I'm going to say I'm just surprised I mean cuz I've seen her cover in J that's all I'm going to say does she she get covered twice Scary Movie one and two probably you know a lot about this I don't know I like Anna Ferris I like the scary movie movies you like jiz F all my loves together but Chris Pratt has been cast well not cast I guess doesn't really count as being cast because he's already Star-Lord but he's going to be in thought love and thunder which I think is good news yep cuz their uh relationship in in the other movies

has been quite good quite of all the things that I enjoyed about uh the last two Avengers movies the integration between the Thor plotline and the Guardians plotline was one of my favorites yeah do we know when we are going to get another Marvel movie well they're shooting Thor love and thunder so presumably within the next two years just not sure we'll see how things go have they made black widow already I thought that one was ready to go y yeah yeah then you know uh the cinemas all died in the ass so just put on Disney plus oh uh tenet comes out next month I know we kind of talked about it next last week but uh Dan yeah Matt I hope you like it mate because honestly it's been so overhyped now yeah well that's why I'm like I'll

just wait it comes out uh next month I'll just watch it did honestly just put it on in an afternoon where you got nothing else on get yourself a beer and just watch it as a movie all right see it for what it is see it for what it is do a bit of ironing no don't do the ironing and in fact don't you good you please cont watch it no no I will I will I'm G to have to I will I'll be strained to hear the [ __ ] dialogue apparently don't watch movies how I watch movies no while getting Xbox achievements yeah wouldn't wouldn't have thought to do that no I made notes what I was going to talk about for a movie I watched and I restarted my computer and they're gone what could you tell us about it just based on your experience of that movie what you watch so I

finally got around to doing something I said I was going to do I watched Tron hey the original the original TR then I also watched Legacy okay oh cool so I could see if I had have seen this back in the 80s when it first came out I would have loved it watching it now that movie makes zero sense I've not once been sucked into a computer it's it's Spartacus in a computer it's also look it's also like before the internet yes so how they're getting these things makes no sense um like how um Jeff Bridges yeah he's lucky

he got work after this acting was terrible wow judgment the The Love Story sort of made no sense either where he sort of liked um Tron Allen's girlfriend cuz they recently had a thing and they kissed in the computer then he comes out and then there's nothing happens there he just magically becomes the president of the company after going yeah I made those games Luke cast your mind back to the 80s you're you're 10 years old somehow it's a parallel universe where you haven't avoided this movie if L was 10 it would be the0 rock your [ __ ] world yeah oh I know that's what I'm like if I had have watched it then would have been

an amazing M okay well they were movies yeah I did as well it was the greatest thing i' ever seen it would have been a re-release cuz it came out in ' 82 yeah you're right oh you must have been yeah but y or I could be remembering it wrong but no it's good to see Captain Sheridan there he played Tron oh yeah Bruce boxing box Lan or something he's in Babylon 5 and I like him good to see him there but yeah the acting the story made no sense the uh the effects do switch between groundbreaking and God and just really but also just like and then to prove that he wrote the program which is what the whole movie is about is about um Jeff Bridges trying to because someone took credit for his work with games that were made he was just

breaking into try and find something to prove that he made the games at the end of the movie he when he gets out of the computer world he gets a print out that says made by me and goes Yep this is it and runs off and that's just the end of the movie simp of times simp times but it wasn't the end because now there's Tron legacy what did you think of that so did you go did you do this whole thing just so you could watch Olivia wild in Tron legacy I I do like Olivia no judgment it was totally worth it um I again this I'm a bit confused about V about it as well like so he gets sucked it back into the world MH he's somehow created this Digital Life that then his computer program just murders because why not M um at the end

of the movie Olivia Wild's character escapes how's she going to deal with having to just bodily functions now like peeing and stuff she's probably never had to do that as a bite or whatever she was yeah I so as they were're called well hopefully hopefully they'll make a third one that just focuses on her doing those things just her in fact it's called Tron colon Olivia wild peeing brackets for 90 minutes close brackets Tron golden showers but so yeah I can yeah as I said I understand why people love it oliv for me gets wild I will Legacy Legacy I do was better I got a shock at how long Legacy was oh yeah it's over 2 hours it's a long

movie not a lot beautiful looking thing you'd everen well Dan likes Olivia wild I guess think we all like Olivia wild yeah in neon and 3D with DFT Punk yeah R love Michael rumors they going to make a third one yeah they were talking about it MH but then I just don't think it went anywhere no we'll see remember Legacy came out a decade ago this um with what's going on I think they probably got tons of stuff simmering that yeah you know how before we used to complain that there were no original ideas that they just went with options this is going to be times a million now

oh absolutely yeah like pre-sales only next year on come get come get me I've got some stuff we can work on that will be great that will get everyone paying money to see it all right my Battlestar Galactic across Star Wars television series mhm there's already a battle star remake remake yeah I they shouldn't be no make Capra season 2 I agree I watched something this week that I thought was worth mentioning I watched truth Seekers oh I got to watch that is it good oh that's the uh Simon peg in it briefly Simon Peg is

in every episode oh all these they all filmed on the same day in the same room so I assume they just filmed them back to back and then he look this is not laugh out loud fny it's just light and fun and I recommend it okay yeah I don't oh really missed the mark for me a little bit I know what you mean but I I just this is Malcolm mcdow's best performance what no no sorry him me win Commander was he was great in win Commander but he is here is the highlight of this show it's not particularly well scripted better than his performance in Rob Zombies

Halloween yeah I was I was hoping for more out of this I was too I was too I must admit but as just an easy watch just I watched one a night for a few nights just before I went to bed and it it it's on uh it's on Amazon right yes yeah yep it's an Amazon Prime original there's only eight episodes yeah I haven't finished hon they could have they could have pulled it off in six yeah I watched a show this week I I watched a show and then I watched a film related to the show and then I watched more of the show and I don't know if any of you will know what this is at first U you may uh Chef you know what Chef is and the chef show I I know of a chef um they cook food yes correct yes oh okay then yeah I know I know exactly what

you're talking about chef chef is a film written directed and starring John favro as you're thinking you're thinking of the Mandalorian um yeah Chef he plays a a chef at a at a fancy restaurant who uh the short version is he loses his job and uh has well he doesn't have to he he he buys a food truck and uh and goes on a little adventure with a food truck it's great little movie looking at now it's it's got a lot of big names you know this a reality show cuz he is a chef right like he he likes [ __ ] cing and [ __ ] yes okay so yeah so he did this film uh it's got John lamo in it Scarlet Johansson Dustin Hoffman's in it it's [ __ ] great movie it's like just a nice little movie about a guy it's mostly about him getting in touch with

his son because he's divorced and he doesn't spend a lot of time with his kid because he's always busy working and then he you know when they get the food truck his son comes with him and they kind of bond and stuff it's good okay yeah yeah yeah it sounds right and then and then you're right he he's super into food and so as a kind of a followup to the movie he and uh this guy Roy Choy who was kind of like his consultant on the film uh he owns uh like he started food truck business he he's a chef French culinary school trained Chef they have a show called The Chef show where they have celebrities on they cook stuff together they like travel to to places to look at how you know where food comes from like oyster farms and stuff like

that it's just like a really casual little show where it's John favro some and then some other people traveling around talking about food like it's every episode's like a little bit different usually they they kind of cooking a few things but it's just a nice little show that uh and then like the first episode they're talking about I forget who maybe Gwyneth pal is on the first one and she's like so what's this show for and he's like I don't even know yet we're just filming this stuff and we'll see what happens like it's very casual but it's neat and that's where that they cooking with her breast milk or something or just regular stuff they're uh they cook uh some vegetarian stuff at goop it's at the goop headquarters I think ah but it's it's

the show that that clip comes from where they're talking and favro says to her oh this is the dish that I made for the rap party on Spider-Man when we were in Spider-Man and she goes I wasn't in Spider-Man I was in Avengers and he goes he goes no well you're in Spider-Man as well and she goes no I wasn't in Spider-Man and he's you were in Spider-Man and he starts describing the scene and she goes that was Spider-Man and then it was kind of did the rounds because everyone was like what a fool but then to be fair she's in like 500 movies and she probably doesn't care about Spider-Man so yeah I I did actually watch another show this week that I think you two might watch the brink the brink brink yep it's got Jack

Black oh yeah oh oh okay comedy or Tim it's a comedy so it's it's about he sort of uh diplomats Ambassador Aid in Israel and it's about them sort of stuff sort of going wrong and them trying to stop sort of the Brinks so to stop like a nuclear war happening it's actually really good it came about 5 years ago and it was I really enjoyed it I just and it's come up with a documentary about Steve Bannon so not that not that one not that one I think it's um for you it to be HBO okay HBO Max thing for us for us then yeah I'm loving binge I'm I'm watching something for [ __ ] that's the worst interface though that is the

absolute worst for something that says binge when I'm watching it on my computer every time it goes to a new episode I have to refresh because there's just an error that pops up and for something called binge it doesn't remember which episodes you've watched no re binge mind you I'm watching something quite good on Netflix right now but I'm only two episodes in so I don't want to say too much about it um but I'm watching something called glitch glitch which an Australian Horus Thriller Jenna watched that did she like it yeah cuz I'm liking it the so far I'm only two episodes in to the first season yeah yeah she watched all of that I think

a couple seasons of it right yeah two season out back town bodies come back from the dead but like not in a zombie way in a wear back what the [ __ ] kind of way cemetry wear back or it's yeah yeah yeah yeah it is a little bit like pet cemetery actually pet cemetery if it was your ex-wife mhm the [ __ ] is that and I'm sure they're both lisening before we go we need to discuss one more bit of cancel culture which I don't agree with it's Star Wars news people are upset about baby Yoda yep and I don't understand why they really upset I do and I don't I mean I understand why I mean it was meant to be shocking sure but I don't understand why

people are like this affects my real life not just my TV watching life he's been been eating live things in the show already like that's a thing he does show those things as they weren't anthrop anthropomorphized creatures before this is like he's murdering babies apparently yeah but they weren't babies yet it's basically like if baby Yoda swallowed a mouthful of jizz yes exactly what it's like and that's fine cuz he's 50 years old some quotes from people complaining about it I'm a mom it's not funny at all to hear Mama a frog go into great detail detail about how important and beloved her eggs are to her and then have to watch them get eaten on three separate occasions for shits and giggles it's a [ __ ] TV it's Star Wars TV show yeah like yeah the

fact that you used the phrase Mama frog lady in such like a impassioned little sentence is so funny to me yeah like it was quite disturbing cuz he kept going back to them that was the point though right like that was the I mean I I did find it I was like oh God but I was surprised they went there on Disney don't get me wrong yeah yeah yeah totally and then doubled and tripled down on it the Frog lady was very adamant about the fact that her eggs were important to her and that it was her last and only chance to have kids so it's actually closer to [ __ ] up someone's inv vitro fertilization which would be incredibly unsettling for a

want Mom it's not was stressed how important it was that he'd be the [ __ ] ruler of the Empire I'm [ __ ] I know oh man when when gay and uro abandoned jino it was so upsetting it's like a father door it's just not like [ __ ] off it's Star Wars TV show Luke and Leia were twins that needed both a mother and a father yeah it is not funny to watch them kiss that is incest and that is a real problem yeah well well it's better than in the book Splinter of the mine eyes where he starts watching her change oh yeah that's right yep and then baby Yoda takes a mouthful of jizz yep well luckily Phil Sak from Lucas film has come out and um clarified for the record chapter 10 of the Mandalorian makes it clear that the Frog lady ex are

unfertilized like the chicken eggs many of us enjoy yeah I mean I've never had a chicken say can you please take me and my eggs to my H this is the oh you hav't you never worked on a farm Dan man we have Bush turkeys that come right up to our yard here it's crazy yeah turkeys are [ __ ] terrifying yeah the mo like there's probably nine of them that I've seen individual birds um and most of them are very Placid one of them is enraged and I think it must be a female and it must have laid eggs it must be protecting but like when it sees me it [ __ ] comes out on the street and it's like [ __ ] come at me K yeah the other day I literally I picked Charlie up and ran

with him away from his bird have you seen I know I've seent you snaps of the turkeys we have here before but have you seen the [ __ ] Army of birds yes in my yard they just wanders in like listeners like hundreds of them terrifying like honestly I sat here working one day looked out the window and I was like uhoh like that is a that is a bad Omen yeah like there were like hundreds of the [ __ ] like I yeah I'm not apparently it's just when it rains and the worms come out I guess but it's still terrifying look I just need to say one more thing about the Star Wars the mandalian go I I'm getting the feeling like they're sort of pretending that the

sequels don't exist sure it just feels that way like referring to the new Republic that's like the the Storm Troopers are sort of a lot of them are sort of going away and stuff like that it doesn't feel like the last three movies we've seen doesn't feel like the Mandalorian is in the same univers feels like Star Wars returning to Jedi and I was gonna ask you about something but it's going to be a spoiler for the three so I don't want to do that yet but I I want to ask you about something we'll do it we'll do it next time okay I'll CCH just make a note of it and then don't delete your notes like I did y gotcha maybe we should start an only fans brackets [ __ ] better have my money
