you've got another month of that yeah especially you saw some tweets were like people are asking like can you guarantee it's coming out and their Twitter is no it's definitely happening no more the day before day the day before yeah someone said I've put in my leave you promise and they said yeah we promise n well that's the problem is the person who promised probably thought it was doesn't know yeah the mark and especi it's a late delay yeah but this is one of these games which I think that is big enough that they don't have to give a date for it sure I I think a lot of these big Shooters should be able to announce that hey we've got a game coming out and then just go oh by the way it's available now that used to be I think we're at

that stage used to be no I think uh I think they kill themselves and um I'm not ever going to play a game I'm never going to play a city project I'm just I know marketing doesn't think it works like that well it doesn't think close to it how do you Market a game if you don't know when it's coming out I I think a lot of these things cuz the marketing for this game I'm not getting from ads and stuff I get from people talking about it that's you that's not most people but but I'm seen air I'm seing a fair bit about this game you know like it's this is this is out there and I'm scrolling it's popping up no no no I know it's but but I mean you know like they're spending money on billboards and advertising on websites and stuff they need to have a date and then that's one

of the things that they've talked about with this is that this is the most effect this is going to have for for city project is on their marketing budget they've wasted a lot of money now yeah I I still just think we should be getting to a stage where that's not quite as big as it used to be I mean you could be right and maybe it's not always of money I mean maybe this is all just building up the hype I mean I know everyone says they're not going to [ __ ] play it but they're going to play it yeah they kind of buy it I'm actually kind of happy you got delayed they got big banners up in Best Buy like the front of Best Buy here has a post of it that says November 10 which is now wrong so like that's it's an expensive mistake cuz like it was due to be coming

out next week which is when the Xbox new Xbox new PlayStation's coming out it's when Assassin's Creed it's Call of Duty like there's already a lot of games coming out postponing it by 21 days actually works well yeah yeah it gets out of that busy season season and I can understand people being upset cuz they've booked leave for it but at the end of the day just be happy you still got a job like real first world problems worse I know people man people's reactions to this were very extreme they're getting death threats which is I feel probably unwarranted like I saw some of the developer posted some of them it's like I know where you and your family live release it now the consequences [ __ ] H releas imag they did though imagine okay you

know what they come out press conference yeah we're um we're going to release the game after all it's not ready but um my family are in legitimate Danger from my daughter has been taken one guy on Twitter see people complaining that they're upset about it that's fine threatening people over it is not I mean I'm I wouldn't say I'm upset about it I'm I'm like ah I got to wait longer I'm like mildly disappointed but I'm not I mean still going to mate I've got to wait a [ __ ] year before I can watch James Bond I just don't understand why a lot of people's go to when they're UPS say is telling people to kill themselves and they hope they get raped threatening to do it themselves yeah yes the internet's [ __ ] broken everybody yeah so December 10th now for cyber Punk yeah

and uh it's mostly apparently the reason is because and this this is why people are annoyed apparently PC Xbox series X and PlayStation 5 it's fine it's good to go it's the current gen consoles that it's having problems with which is probably most of the market which is why they delaying it so people are annoyed about it but it's like yeah but that's most of the customers so yeah yeah they're having performance issues allegedly on uh current on current gen Hardware they it's definitely going to have performance issues on my Xbox my Xbox can barely run [ __ ] squadrons so oh do you have a look at squadrons did you I did I got by um I got a refund on it cuz it won't run properly oh and I'm I'm I'm assuming it's my Xbox my Xbox is having issues that Xbox is like the original

Xbox it is a launch Day 2013 Xbox one it's had a good run it's time to retire next week next week yeah I didn't get my new Xbox even though they told me I'd get it on the 28th it didn't arrive they sent me a followup email to go we made a mistake we made a mistake you're not getting one at all [ __ ] you yeah in fact you owe us one that escalated quickly so you get yours on the 10th um I don't know anymore it was originally it was going to ship on the 9th so I'd get it on the 10th but yeah in their latest email they've said it's going to ship on the 10th now and I'm oh no controversial I'm actually it's one issues I'm upset about it I'm also happy if it does get there a little bit later because if it arrives

midweek I'm going to want to leave work home and go play it so if it gets there on Friday it's probably ideal for me sure [ __ ] if mine gets here I'll play myself some Assassin's Creed Well I obviously haven't pre-ordered one I got told the other day oh you're not going to get one till like late into next year and I'm like told the 3 they know how many people are going to buy one like they're not one early next year they're not going to make just a handful and just be like [ __ ] well they they said there will be more available at launch so if you want to I mean it's probably going to be another [ __ ] in Australia they've said there won't be oh really oh okay they've said like like don't come in try to buy one cuz we won't have mate you had your chance I think yeah if

you try and print now I think you might be able to get onto like a waiting list for when it comes in but it'll be early next year I think or I could give you one of mine I'm thinking about getting a series s in addition to the X I don't think I need two x's well I still don't have a television to play it on or a couch to sit on while I play it so it's not a priority for me right now yeah Fair well I just ordered a new desk a new monitor for it oh ly d new desk new monitor I can understand but like no [ __ ] it desk I'm not putting a beautiful new console on this shitty old desk yeah this this one will not support the weight of that thing the reason for the new desk is actually because of my Lego building mhm okay so I have a black desk mhm I've just been building the

Batmobile which all the pieces are black I can't even see it but I couldn't see the pieces so you bought a new desk that was your solution I brought a new desk that very specific problem was to buy a new desk and there was there was no interim solution to that it just has to order wait for and assemble are you familiar with uh are you familiar with paper you could put some of that under it yeah you're familiar with the concept of a tablecloth no just buy a new desk and no I wanted to get a sit stand desk anyway so oh yeah actually I want one of those too buy the [ __ ] ho Lego sets then will you you [ __ ] you'll have to buy yourself the black Des no he just keep keep that one for his white Lego projects and then the new one will be for the black Lego projects no I've been

wanting a sit stand desk for a while and there's a company out here omnidesk oh yeah and so so wasn't cheap but it's an electronic sit stand desk and I think it'll do quite well do you 6 foot long um I stand all day every day right okay which is weird because I have a bad leg that I'm always in pain my right leg maybe that's why no if I sit for long periods of time then my back and hip are a lot worse have you tried going upside down have you tried being have you tried instead of a chair and a desk getting one of those things that they test astronauts for zero grab in that can just spin you in literally any direction maybe you can get the other Lego Batman set which is him hanging upside down in one of those things because that that

was in the Batman movie yeah yeah where Vicky Veil wakes up and looks across the road and he's just [ __ ] upside down yeah he's asleeping it look at that the last time he wanted to speak to her and then she spent the rest of the movie trying to get his attention I have [ __ ] you go home MH yeah I'm going to build a new desk uh so I'll update everybody on that when I can get around to it although with the weather the way it is I'm probably not going to be doing that until next year are you going to f a tree on your property and build it out of that no I'm just going to buy wood from from you know Low's of Home Depot or I'll be putting my desk together as

well I'm getting it in a flat pack because I'm cheap and I want to spend an extra $100 from them to assemble it no I would do it myself too I'm going toy I'm going to get mono price make one of the sit stand frames that's I might get one of those CU I usually stand alternate between sitting and standing at work and I find that that did help so if I can do it at home like I've been standing for at work for what 14 years or something something so I I recommend time for a rest I don't even have a chair at this house I have no chairs I'm sitting what are you sitting on on this oh Jesus oh my God day after day listeners Dan has revealed a small stool I mean like a sitting stool he hasn't just pooped on there stool sample so your stuff's not uh not with

you yet no it is not so they said it was shipping soon they said it was going to ship on the 31st day before yesterday I'm waiting for confirmation that it left on time I mean I say on time two months late already yeah um and it's also coming by boat so it's not going to be here it's coming by boat and everything apparently goes through Melbourne at the moment God Knows Why Oh isn't that the worst place to go through in Australia right now oh that's where our big that's where our big docks are you guys are doing right though you got to have big docks at least could be worse could be coming through anywhere in this country so yeah or uh or the UK from what I hear here they're doing well as as well they've shut down yeah it's called

brexit yeah God we are so lucky we went there last year yep well Dan you mentioned um you mentioned James Bond earlier yeah and got some James Bond news and Britain and Britain yeah the UK uh we got some some sad news this week this is a big one geek of the week this is one of these ones that's a bit shocking because I've sort of forgotten about him yeah he was so old he was kind of immortal yeah well he literally was Immortal in in Highlander that's true until he was literally killed we played a Spanish Egyptian with a Scottish accent I'm not Spanish I'm Egyptian talking of course about Sir Shawn slaps McGee connory mhm sha Connor's died slapping women in heaven he slapped his life he did slap a lot of

women didn't he why was a lot he just consistently slapped some women and as I remember you said you don't do it with a clenched fist it's better to do it with an open hand yeah remember that yeah yeah I didn't love that haven't changed my opinion you haven't no what's better what's better to slap a lot of women a few times slap one woman a to continually slap a small amount of women did he was he married at the end yes we know he was married for many many many years yeah to a very very strong woman but he was suffering from dementia now wasn't he was he I don't know who I've slapped was he that's he was he was very sick and and what I actually what I

allegedly here because the story is does not clarify but the the theory is that this is a Brett Ratner film where um connory signed on and was heavily involved because he was going to produce and and obviously it's Sean connory he's going to be involved he's going to dictate certain things and they're on a call MH and they want the the director wants to do this underwater scene and he says all right this is going to happen this is going to happen and Sean Connor says I want to know how you plan to film this and he the director says well we're going to use some uh some movie Magic and connory says listen you little [ __ ] I've been doing movie Magic since before your father was pleasuring himself I want to know shot by shot how you plan to achieve this and then uh yeah they

planned a follow-up call which the director never showed up for so that certainly sounds like Brett Ratner from everything I know but I could sort of understand where sha was come coming from there absolutely apparently that's the last film that Shan connory worked on at all he didn't want a smartass reply I wanted to know how you put me underwater so I decide whether or not I want to [ __ ] do it yeah and that but I also me anymore but I love it cuz the writers are the ones who came out with this story and they've said that uh he he called them up and was like look guys you've done a great job honestly you you're top writers but I've just got to quit this business and it's like sorry he took the time in his angry rant to

like name check you dudes he called me once Dan and he said look you're doing a great job on that podcast I just want know yeah I'm out of movies forever but I hope you keep doing multiple ner gets some yes and just sorry just give me a moment shut up they don't they want to have the the last word and you give them the last last word but they're not happy with the last word they want to say it again and and get into a really provocative situation then I think it's absolutely right what would sorry just had to deal with something you give him the last word but I just want to keep talking fing Sean connory so my question is Luke is Sean connory geek of the week can you abuse women and still be a

wall and he's trying to kiss her and she is like energetically trying to move her face away from him uh eventually he overpowers her and they have sex I'm doing air quotes for have sex ah romance all right so I guess we're going to have to come back to to find out if uh Sean connory is geek of the week he is dead uh he is dead he definitely dead didn't kill himself no so he doesn't have die of old age I mean obviously the the gag is geek of the week he died of AG but do we know what did he die of just old age I think it was just age oh yeah I mean old age obviously is not a actual medical condition but you know just some random old person yes I think he died because he was too old to be alive anymore yeah his body couldn't

sustain him anymore y gotcha he was 90 he had a good run oh yeah yeah yeah yeah not bad um and he had he's I think he was in Barbados or something for the last 10 years really some reason I just assumed he lived in a castle in Scot was up in Scotland but then again if you're a 90-year-old man I don't want to live in Scotland when I'm 90 [ __ ] no take me to the tropics for I [ __ ] I love Scotland I love it but when I'm 90 I will not love it yeah you'll feel that I need to find somewhere that's like 22 degrees all year round I've tried to find that L I must admit because you know I lived in the tropics and it it was awful like you don't want to live equatorially you don't no I don't I don't like being hot I don't like being cold I just need to find something where I could put on a

light jacket if I feel like it but I don't have to I think yeah because it seems like when you're at the equator and the I don't know why I said it like that when you're at the equator and you're at the poles it's consist but it's like boiling freezing but then if you if you deviate even a little bit you start getting Seasons yeah understanding is that um the Carolinas are an area like that in the US although I've not been there or Carolina maybe that's where I'll end up as in like North and South Carolina yeah right where are they in the middle they're like uh I think 13 hours south of heish yeah they're like south of here in a bit maybe what's there uh I don't know is this like yeah any any any kind of landmarks we would have

the coach we are all having Strokes tonight yeah there are between Virginia and Georgia which appar Georgia is apparently also nice yeah yeah yeah yeah Atlanta is like the new Austin that's yeah well it's the new uh film Capital too I think lives in Atlanta now he mentioned on Twitter the other day yeah they just film everything there now so I was really disappointed I sent you guys a screenshot um listeners will remember that a couple of weeks ago I spent a couple of weeks watching 30 odd [ __ ] films slam down one of which submitted to our Film Festival was Shakespeare [ __ ] storm which we have mentioned on this podcast before the new film up and coming from uh troma but uh it was not on my pile unfortunately and uh yeah unfortunately in air quotes yeah

oh it would have been garbage would have been absolutely garbage I think it's just Lloyd calman starring and singing and dressing up crazy there's a lot of vomit from what I've seen okay yeah it's so just more of the same yeah more of the same it's a l cman film did you guys uh watch episode one of season two of The Mandalorian I haven't I sure did and you haven't watched it yet then I'm still enjoying it oh man it was a [ __ ] great episode yeah all right I I still plan to watch it I am I'm impressed with the scale of things I'm not going to say I want to not going to spoil anything but it's got It's got like some It's like got some Star Wars movie level [ __ ] effects and [ __ ] going on like well look we we don't usually like to discuss things in

too much depth during the first week anyway so I'm going to take that as our out I'm going to try to catch up on this in the next day or so and then maybe next week we can all give a full review can I definitely watch I was a little nervous because it was one of these things where the second season sometimes won't be as good but this just picks up exactly where the last season left off it's great I was kind of hoping that they would just say [ __ ] you to everyone and the child is no longer in it but that's not the cas right no he's he's there I was kind of hoping that they're going to do like a guardi of galaxy is he going to be like an unhappy teenager now MH I hope that they just decide to just [ __ ] with the uh continuity and just go no this is baby Yoda he grows up to

be can I um is it is it a spoiler just to tell you someone who plays a character in it no no go for it no it was that was announced months ago okay cuz I actually didn't know and Jenna knew and I was like who is it and I was like actually no don't tell me I want to watch it and so tickled me pink when I saw Timothy olant [ __ ] Mandalorian as a marshall in a [ __ ] old Westy town no way that's great and he was so good that's what he does man that's what I mean yeah that's great I love to what a [ __ ] great episode I I'm pumped I was I finished it and I was like [ __ ] me I got to wait for more of this I'm so annoyed so what we did last year it's all coming out weekly there's no like cuz I think last time they went here the first two

episodes and but this is just week to week yeah but God I love baby Yoda yeah he's adorable my heart's still aches for him he or she do we know the gender of this child no we don't do we they have genders a child one day they'll do a gender they cuz there was a female well there was there was there was one called yattle do we know it was a female how do you know that long hair man we just know it was called yattle and they slowly zoomed in on the vagina that was in a deleted scene and there was a that's true that is true I don't know is that can we cut this I'm not sure where I was going with that I think I was going to

cut it anyway as soon as I saw you were going to do it I made a mental note to cut it out tell you what leave it in just beep it out okay I went to Star wars.com yeah and y's gender is female all right so all in the Galaxy have binary genders oh Jesus let's not do this cancel George Lucas no just she was female just whatever that species is just all got the concept of male and female which surprises me still has species unknown though yeah baby Yoda I wonder if they G to give him a name at some point that's going to get confusing yeah Jeff I I don't think they will yeah I

think hope they just characters start calling him baby Yoda Disney's like all right [ __ ] it yeah fine you know who it is there is one thing that I still find weird about the Mandalorian and it came up again in the new episode and also it was last season that the Jedi are a mystery too to him yeah I I agree the Jedi were around a news when he was alive because he he was basically he was found by mandalorians when his family being attacked by droids like in the Clone walls so he knows about the Jedi yeah and the baby Yoda's abilities are a mystery to everybody but they still talk about the force yeah so it's yeah it is a little

weird in that sense it's like you know that that's a thing right but apparently they don't so there's Space Magic everywhere and this little baby's got tons of it all over baby y yod will choke a [ __ ] I gotta watch season one again now yeah I've watched some good TV this week actually I've watched a couple of things yeah and actually I noticed that you are watching the Queen's Gambit yeah I am YouTube oh YouTube uh Netflix is insisting that I watch this next so I yeah Netflix was insisting that I watch it and I was like I don't know that that interests me but then I saw people saying saying this is really good and I didn't like surprisingly it it doesn't look like a thing that would be for us it's about a young girl who

plays chess MH and um which when I think about I'm like well that does sound interesting like she's just really good at chess and but but it's it's [ __ ] great like it's [ __ ] it's the girlfriend the witch isn't it the witch yeah you know what I didn't I hadn't thought about that but yeah I think you might be right the vich the vit yeah yeah but is it good so should I watch it yeah yeah yeah yeah it's very um it's so she's an orphan and she uh she gets taken to this um orphanage and she learns to play chess from the caretaker and she gets obsessed like [ __ ] obsessed and becomes like this genius chess player and um and it's about that and it's it's one of those shows where I was trying to figure out like in the first episode there was the potential

for some really I wasn't sure what the tone of the show is cuz we watch a lot of shows where it's like really horrible things happen to people quite a lot cuz that seems to be what TV is about these days it's really horrible things happening to people and I was trying to figure out is this a show where really horrible things are going to happen to this girl or is this a show where it's just going to be a nice story about this girl who plays chess and it seems like it's mostly the ladder so I feel like Luke would like it in that case like basically I was wondering first episode I'm like is this [ __ ] is this girl going to get molested in this show because that's I'm I'm not that's going to be that's because there's like bits where it's like oh what's going on here

but it's like no no no all of the all of the Sinister elements are wholesome if you know what I mean okay like I'm going to rape you down by the fire no no no there's just bits where it's like she's with the caretaker and she's like you can't be like you can't be in the basement with the caretaker and I was like oh God where's this going to go but it's like it's just no no no you play chess upstairs like oh okay you know what I mean it's like there's no there's none of that sure sure sure sure that very it doesn't go that dark yeah it's good to know that you can watch like a a modern TV show about a young girl and you're not just constantly worried she's going to be that's what I'm saying it was nice cuz I was like okay after the first episode like I think I can just

relax and enjoy this without being like worried that I'm going to be like oh God yeah so I think Luke will like it speaking on something a bit like that there's uh this show I'm trying to think of the name of it now that I want to I'm hoping you can help me if it is a terrible show or not it's the Tom Hanks one um Cast Away not Cast Away Tom Hanks is in a show Forest Gump um it is actor sorry I'm just getting the name of it big a beautiful day in the neighborhood he plays Fred Rogers I don't know who Fred Rogers is but when I watch the trailer that pops up on Netflix every now and again it I just get the feeling that it's oh this nice guy on television everyone loves him but

that it just it just be a feeling that he's this terrible person think I don't think would play him if it was and nobody molests him no see so Fred Rogers is a real person he was a children's T like a show in in the states and I thought as an Australian because there is a corn song called Mr Rogers and just because just because of Jonathan Davis singing a song about Mr Rogers I assumed Mr Rogers was a pedo cuz even the trailer for it it's like all people see and it just feels like it's to and when I when these movies were coming out cuz he died a little while back so there was a there was a documentary about him and then there was this Tom Hanks movie about him and when I said I Mr Rogers you know and everyone was [ __ ] horrified that you even thought that

that I had thought that and they're like no so so no Luke I am okay certain that that is not an element of that show or movie is a movie right it's nice to know that there's at least one eccentric old man who's not turned out to be a pedophile you know what I mean yeah watch watch next week as Luke follows up and it's like well you were wrong we have dusted off the skeletons in his particular closet they pulled up the floorboards and there those kids tiny skeletons yeah no but I've got something you might like Luke you know what I've got something I've got something to recommend to You Luke something to recommend to you Matt and something else that I watched that was on your recommendation

Matt what do you want first out of those three something I might like okay Luke this is for you I started watching a show I'm only halfway through but I'm loving it I think you'd like it too it's called Utopia it's from Britain it's from 2014 and it's excellent I've heard about this cuz there's now the American version so I think Amazon are doing an American remake which is why they've put this older version on their platform and I'm watching it on Prime right now and loving it it's like a light-hearted fun but also quite violent kind of Espionage comedy thriller centering around a group of people who find a mysterious comic book that some secret organization wants cuz it contains information and it's just fun it's just

really well done fastpaced good plot good actors me I like fun yeah really like yeah so I might give that a go because yeah I've been seeing about this and I have just seen that they yeah Amazon's just come out with the American remake of it so well I mean I I can't speak to that but the the British original is excellent yeah I might be interested in that also give that oh good just six episodes doesn't have a lot of time quite I I like when they don't have to try and flesh out like 20 episodes and stuff like that briti British series is six episodes never do yeah they don't [ __ ] around not like 24 24 episodes yeah

there's one where he's just eating breakfast yeah there was an hour where he just relaxed a bit yeah yeah all right one for you Matt all right okay this one's back on Netflix German Italian co-production Barb oh okay barbarians yeah the uh like Norman is it just a hilarious comedy it's like if if Norman if there were less rape jokes more rapes right they weren't funny right um it's excellent the the Romans speak Latin and they're played by Italian actors and the the Germanic peoples are Germans and they speak German um so it feels very authentic and uh there only six episodes as well is the reason why

you're not recommending it to me I'd have to read yeah you would have to read yeah you've retired from Reading from what we understand you have to read everybody cuz like if you were watching this in Germany you'd only have to read the Italians yeah but we have to read them all yeah now there is a dubbed track you can put on but the fact that they speak two languages is kind of part of the story so I don't know how you'd know who was I can't watch dub stuff yeah I found um read Vikings had that it was I thought it was handled pretty like I know I've only watched a few episodes Vikings did a great job of it when they came up yeah you it was always very clear whose perspective you were hearing from that was quite well

done yes if if the characters you were watching could understand they spoke English if they couldn't understand then they spoke either Old Norse or Old English or old French yeah yeah that well done they did it really well until they just stopped doing that after a while they just couldn't be B anymore I know I've only seen a few episodes of it but every time we comes up you kind of get disappointed about how it ended up and I'm like maybe I won't bother with it honestly watched the first full two seasons they're excellent okay um but then just pretend they didn't do anymore all right it's not that it got bad either it's just that it stopped being good and you were watching characters you really liked not doing anything and you're going like this used to be really good

yeah so I watched those two things and I watched I watched just one more thing ah did you did you watch Murder By the book yes I did yeah and it was excellent It's very good it was really good and now I'm going to have to watch more and thankfully I can because there is a Columbo YouTube channel official that just has like a 100 episodes of Columbo it's it doesn't have all of them because it didn't have Mur book I had to go and find that elsewhere but yeah it's got a lot if that's wonder if that's a Spielberg thing these are good man these are legitimately good I really enjoyed this that's what I'm saying they like it's not a high paced [ __ ] adrenaline ride but it's just well written well

performed you know this is the kind of thing I want to watch like late at night if I'm like okay I'm getting into bed now I don't want to go to sleep yet but I want to watch something this is what I want to watch something that's just like a slow talk as Peter FK here's the other thing too like we know Peter folk as Columbo he's been Columbo since before we were born he does a great job of it but I don't know why somebody thought he would and gave him the job his character evolves a lot too if you're a in agent and this weird little man with a strange accent and a glass eye comes in and like I want to be a famous actor you'd be like [ __ ] what we don't have for you mate somebody knew he'd be great at it and he was yeah the character did evolve in there one of

the pilot episodes where he it's a murder involving um one of the the stars is there a the guy who Mur whose wife is that gets murdered and then his mistress who's an actress and um it's you know Columbo's very calculating and smart he doesn't get he does get angry but it's usually intentional he uses it as a tool to put people off guard but this's this one in the pilot episode he's like he's like that with the guy but then when he goes to talk to the woman he just [ __ ] lays and he's [ __ ] yelling at you're stupid [ __ ] I know you did it she's like crying and he's like stop crying and then um and then and then she like breaks down she's crying and he's like let's go down to the station and then so that changes he

he doesn't do that again m i mean that sounds like you pressed the wrong button in LA Noir yeah it's quite like that it just it's just obviously a product of the time period where did the two pilots get you didn't have to be careful or clever with women you just yelled at them until they did what you want you just rattled them um were the two pilots aired or was the first one that aired The Murder By the book uh I'm not 100% sure on that the Murder By the book is episode one of season one yeah and the two others are the pilots they referred to as pilots on on Wikipedia so so they might have they might have offseason just for yeah to see if they were popular enough to go syndication right yeah it's interesting I to watch more they're good yeah but

what the thing is though right yes Columbo is very smart and yes he's a detective but just because a detective finds Clues doesn't mean you have to confess because he still has to convince a DA to make a case out of it and and the da still has to prosecute so like just like in the end of this one no spoilers I won't say what happened but he finds a clue and tells the killer that he's found this clue and the Killer's like well you got me and it's like no dude dude you just say no spoilers for subject that came out 40 years ago more 60 years ago is for that one right yeah a long time ago 50 50 years yeah it would have been that happens a lot and then there's somewhere I'm like that's [ __ ] that is that is a stretch yeah

come on Columbo you could do better than that there's somewhere he gets them real good and then there's somewhere it's like really all right he just fting it in this week yeah yeah it sounds like how they solved the mystery at the last episode of uh what was that show with with a Fanning girl in the old time in New York City the alienist yeah I didn't watch all of that I couldn't get through the last episode are you want you want a spoiler for how they solved the mystery in the last episode oh sure I'm not going to watch it the tone on that was all over the place so yeah yeah it was it was so inconsistent I just couldn't get into it the mystery gets solved because they they put together two things the killer

always kills within sight of water right and he always cuts out a body part and a body part something blah blah blah the heart okay is the most important part of the body and the Heart of the water system of New York City is the reservoir so he must be at the reservoir and when they go there he is that's not good there was slightly more to it than that but not much more I don't think not enough more I think there was a Columbo episode where that was there that was the Clue the reservoir I watched the documentary recently and I know this is kind of weird that I watched the documentary but I've watched it sort of twice cuz I've just watched with different people it's

um about the murderer next door or something um that sounds like American murder the family next door oh I saw that that was on I didn't watch that I haven't either I will it's on my list film they didn't film anything for it oh I know this one this is I know this the reason I didn't watch it is cuz I already know this guy um know don't know him personally but I know the story I've seen all the interrogation videos and everything before yeah and but that's it's just all yeah yeah yeah it's all but I just these people just posted so much on Facebook like CU it's all just like videos that Tak Facebook and said the friends all these I'm s like I don't post anything like like that no people po they just had their whole lives just plasted and sharing and I love those

Netflix True Crime Doos because like most of them like old True Crime Dockers you watch and you're like [ __ ] I hope that never happens to me these ones you watch and you go well I wouldn't be that stupid so this will definitely not happen to me like what was that one where that family let that pedophile [ __ ] their kids and they both the husband and wife also [ __ ] him abducted in plain sight yeah and then they wondered why oh we didn't have knew this guy was a [ __ ] pervert he [ __ ] literally all of you that was insane yeah yeah even the did you watch that one Luke I haven't watched it but I I've heard about that one [ __ ] insane it's fantastic it's fantastic but yeah that guy from that one you're talking about Luke there's a YouTube channel um that

does like uh I can't remember the name of it but the point was that just was showing you like um how a guilty person will react to questioning versus a an innocent person and then all the that guy's interrogation videos are like hilariously bad I've got no idea well I just say like at the start of it like cuz they they basically go they go knock on a next door neighbor and he's got a video camera at the front and the murderer leaves and the cop's still there and and the neighbor goes he's normally not like this he's fidgeting that's so out of character for him and that's where it all sort of started From but his whole plan made no sense no it was ridiculous he he had a mistress so he killed the murder my wife and my two children and then I'll sell

my house and live happily ever after yeah not didn't really think through it no I think he would they they had a fight that well I mean this is all alleged I suppose because we won't know cu the rest of them are dead but I think he and his wife had a fight cuz he wanted to leave and she was saying that she wasn't going to do it I think that's the super messed up part about that was like oh and then he tried to say that she killed him and then he had to kill her prot but then he actually went out and explained that no he killed her and then drove with her body and the two kids still alive for an hour and then murdered the children [ __ ] up Jesus but the the thing in this interrogation video was that that basically if if you're talking if they

ask you a simple question and then you talk for 20 minutes you [ __ ] murdered them you're probably guilty yeah yeah because they're not an innocent person would have just said no no where were you Pub wasn't there oh well at 5:30 I was here this and blah blah blah back when I was a child blah yeah he [ __ ] killed him talking way too much if yeah if people could give a timeline very quickly they've been thinking about that cuz I don't even know where I was today that's right but that's why I can't lie I'm a terrible liar remember there one thing too much detail yeah like and and like I lost a key for a draw um in a wardrobe and while our landlord was doing an

inspection they're like where's that key and I could have said I lost it or I could have said don't know I'll have a look but I was like oh I don't think there was ever a key I mean I've never even used that draw like I mean look I mean like and me like shut up like it's honestly it's a key yeah I sorry I don't know I have to have a look for it done yeah I'm not sure why why lie to begin with exactly well that's there that that YouTube channel they showed there's this there was this guy who was actually innocent and the cops are asking all stuff and he's like no no [ __ ] off no like simple as that he's just like no no that's not true I wasn't there no not not some elaborate [ __ ] story just

like no no so should I watch this Luke or have you just given me all the Keynotes I think it's it's I only go for an hour like it's not a I think it's probably quite interesting like I said I've I've seen the footage before so I didn't bother but it probably is quite yeah it's just I just found it so weird that yeah they just share so much of their lives and I'm sort of like I post a couple of pictures on Instagram every now and again but they were just filming stuff left and right now we're comparatively very very private I think all of of us compared to other than this podcast yeah that's that's true yeah but we don't share like tons of personal stuff like people share like everything it's bizarre yeah like people post

anything about to watch this eating this just did a [ __ ] like all right just did a [ __ ] that's not a joke he has done that before for com yeah probably probably bleep his name out he tends to get mad when we mention of all people of all people to to not mention he's the one to not mention the most yeah but now everyone's going to be like were they talking about me yes we are yeah no I'm not very good at Facebook no I've tried I've tried all I was great at Facebook when only about 20 of my friends had it and draw on other

people's walls yeah that was mad fun yeah used to draw a lot of dicks on other people's walls and also I think I was about 28 at the time so I had a lot more free time and sure uh a game that I've been playing still no man's Sky I'm still playing it uh well you can keep playing it yeah and it's going to look uh prettier on my uh whichever Xbox I end up getting in here in the one in the living room so well I mean it looks pretty to begin with so that's pretty exciting yeah but I think the draw distance is going to be better there's going to be like more detail on the plan life and stuff like that which I'm excited about because that is one of the things it's a little janky about it is you know when you fly into a planet real quick things tend to pop in quite slowly

yeah so yeah it can only uh improve my experience another free update yeah from these guys they thing they [ __ ] redeemed themselves I got to say yeah CU that was that launch was not pretty when they launched the game no I it really got away from and I actually think Sony was a bit to blame behind it yeah [ __ ] Sony cuz they were a very small shudio oh yeah like like 12 people or something yeah I think the other problem is too that he talked about what's it I forget his name the the kind of I think he did as well you know the game designer of the game he um yeah he he was talking up all the stuff that now it's got all that

stuff but when they launched it it did not have any of the actual game like it didn't have a story or anything you just kind of pot it around it's going to have multiplayer but you won't be able to find anyone and then people found each other and went we we can't see each other yeah it was just kind of like a weird it was like early Minecraft where it's like what do I do I preferred I preferred Minecraft when there wasn't a lot to do yeah I know I've replaying it now I'm like it's too much I found the village in it and I was like nah I'm done with this yeah oh my God I'm looking at the video now of the update I need to go back and play this game yeah man it's [ __ ] sick there like you you you there are like

abandoned frigs like they've been in a battle and they're just floating in space and you like go in and Salvage [ __ ] off them and I'm now looking at a city yeah which last time I played it you'd go to a planet and there might be a small Outpost but n it's good [ __ ] man this is an actual City okay yep I'm going to go back and play that when I get my new Xbox next week it does look beautiful doesn't it I have four spaceships now o just keep finding him I think I might go and just start from scratch yeah that's what I did cuz I don't think I can remember in the story the story is is adjusted with the new updates so starting again is probably wise because if you jump in I'm not sure how that's going to play out with the new story line yeah it's got a lot of

stuff added so cuz even you know the uh the anomaly the space station the anomaly that you go to it's completely different oh okay all right so y I'll install this and I will play that when it comes when I get my new Xbox but I'll probably play Assassin's Creed first ah yeah Val that does look goodes play a bit of Odyssey again oh yeah Odyssey yeah good stuff I got to the it's not a spoiler I suppose I got to the first bit where you flash back forward to the future and I was like that was boring oh yeah they still got that part in the game you know oh to to the with you come out of the an and you you just wander around and talk to people and I was like no thanks straight back I went straight back in cuz I was like I don't know who these women are yeah I'm not interested

in this this element of the story yeah just no stop it great it comes out like yeah eight days and I'll be playing that interesting to hear what you think in that you've played all the Assassin's Creeds and uh you've been a quite a good judge of which ones we would like yes yeah when you finally started listening to me this is going to be an interesting couple of although I am going to not listen to you and I am going to play the ancient Egypt one just because I want to walk around ancient Egypt yeah I've got it I just have to play it so although it takes me so long to play games that I feel like maybe I shouldn't have cuz cyber Punk's going to be out by the before I'm not going to finish Odyssey before cyber Punk comes out although who knows maybe it'll be delayed another

year I I just played uh day of tentacle today oh did you yep great game CU it came out on Game Pass ah groom fendo full front Full Throttle and tentacle sing [Laughter] my so I got that that got 100% in it uninstalled oh I've been playing um you have to get 100% in those games though they were they were made so that you had to do everything right oh no there are some achievements in it like um ring the bell 100 times oh wait I've been playing another Phoenix Right game on my um 3DS it's a I forget the spirit of something but yeah I need to go back and play them with so good but I know we talked about the silly nature of the law

in um those games but he go in this one he goes to another country have I talked about this yet no he travels to another country and um he gets caught up did I have the same laws becomes well he becomes the defense lawyer for this kid uh and then like in the middle of the court case learns about the defense culpability act which means that if uh every crime is punishable by death and if you're a defense attorney and you lose you get put to death as well you find out about that halfway through the court case which is [ __ ] hilarious and defense attorney there this bit where this what country is this uh it's called it's called Kar or something Kine or something like that it's made up um but this fit where the

spoilers The the guy's clearly murdered somebody hit him over the head with his guitar and um and then you CU you discover clues in that and it turns out the guitar he's got there is not the murder weapon it's a different guitar and then so you go you go I've got him and he says I want you to present the guitar you were using yesterday and then he goes he goes I'm sorry you're baring up the wrong tree mate I burnt that guitar yesterday and then the judge is like seems like you're out of luck mate there's no evidence I like [ __ ] what unfortunately for you he's burnt it I have no follow question dismissed oh guilty no [ __ ]

made me laugh the judge is like well I don't know how you're going to prove he did it I'm afraid he's destroyed the evidence yeah that's that's a real shame moving on that's great anyway yeah great games so [ __ ] silly this might sound like a strange and insensitive question but do these characters look like white people or do they look like Japanese people uh a mix right mix yeah there Mi yeah all all sorts of people yeah very yeah it's representative of the modern world I would say all sort of people people of all walks of life yeah mhm good art they're fun games I know you them Luke it's just good fun yeah they are they're ridiculous but they're fun basically just like Puzzles I just yeah in this fictional country who's

going to study to become an offensive no there aren't any because they're all been put to death and then the the usually the cases decided because the the Priestess will consult the spirits of the dead and and it's it's it's silly but it's good it's very funny they do like a seance and then they view the the footage from the Seance and that gets entered into evidence yep what Matt also I'm just I'm gonna be pasting something in here hold on is this the Phoenix Right movie no no there is a movie I'm interested in that be interested in that no uh image can't copy paste oh yeah forget it [ __ ] it never mind all right but yeah I highly recommend all of the Phoenix rock games and uh Apollo Justice all the spin-offs I haven't

played any of them oh it's the same thing just different characters and not all not all different characters some of them are the same characters it's just different stories like the judge it's good [ __ ] oh yeah the the judge the judge in every country looks the same just with a different hat and then uh has to go with a beard and then there's a professor Leighton crossover one that I haven't played yet I should I should check that out because those are good games too actually 3DS has some great games are they all like familyfriendly crimes yeah they're like murder yeah there yeah oh yeah but there's no like this this little girl got raped outside of school and body got dumped in it's all just like someone got stabbed and then died they should do the SVU version
