don't know what these people are doing that they don't want to oh I just love you see all these conspiracy theorist out there going the government's doing this they're trying to control you don't be a sheep and then they'll post all that on their Apple iPhone mhm yeah which is monitored and their information stolen I'd prefer to to steal my information over Apple mhm mhm mhm cuz what comes out next month so we've got black widow next month yeah I'm I'm not so excited about that I'd be excited about June if they announced a date for that I'd be excited for James Bond if they announced a date for that well I've already heard they're starting to talk about Black Widow too oh God stop confirming sequels before the movies come out okay yes half of

them aren't good she's dead well she's trapped at the bottom of a slightly a pretty deep pit this might be before then yeah I think it is more a bit more of her origin story but I think it's I still think it's too late oh it's very much too late this should have happened I don't know 10 years ago yeah in between Iron Man's 2 and three perhaps like I could even maybe cuz she was introduced during Avengers wasn't it yeah was that the time I guess it was yeah yeah like I could have understood if they maybe did a movie after that came out with her or cuz they do jump around with the timeline a little bit sometimes but that would make more sense than after you kill her off yeah yeah but yeah so that comes out 9th of July now oh okay that's pretty

soon you're going to go back to the movies and 9th of July check this out well I've already I went to the movies not long ago what did I see like went out to the theater it was actually quite fun oh I saw Moral Kombat oh how is that um surprisingly good okay good I do want to watch that I hope it gets a sequel okay and if the '90s one got a sequel this one should get a sequel cuz the '90s one did not deserve a sequel now there's an Australian in this right mhm he plays Kano okay hold on the '90s one did deserve a sequel it just deserved a better one than it yeah no I I think that was just that could have just ended as is you didn't need a sequel this one does feel like they're opening up a bit more of what to come yeah well of course it's all about franchising now mhm yeah

and like cuz at the end spoiler but I think everyone sort of heard at the end there's sort of a hint at Johnny Cage okay and I'd be happy just to go Johnny Cage movie do we know who would play Johnny Cage does he make an appearance it has to be has to be someone that's fit obviously but no doesn't make an appearance it's just a poster needs to be someone who's funny and a bit arrogant MH mhm what's what's on the poster uh I think it just says cage I can't actually remember cuz it's old a while ago so it doesn't show his face or anything like that no okay that's the ultimate tease definitely does deserve to get something but we'll wait and see we never know all right I do want to say that but yeah there's movies coming out again and I'm looking forward to going yeah well

there's a movie coming out that uh you might be interested in because it's directed by your favorite director in the whole world Edgar right Edgar right he's got to he's got to win me back okay he lost you with uh baby driver yeah he lost me a little bit with that too but the uh the end of the world one what was that called uh yeah that that's where I think he started going down was great either at World's End or something World's End yeah yeah that's where yeah things started to change like it certainly didn't have the depth that Sha of the dead or hot bars or even spaced ad they do call it like the Cornetto trilogy but I tend just to think that there's it's just a two movie in that duology yeah keep it to that but yeah so what he's bringing out last night in

SoHo yeah now this looks uh interesting I think it's a psychological horror movie so that's okay that's fine by me apparently it's got elements of time travel in it so okay okay that's cool too and uh the lighting is all crazy and uh colorful which reminds me of something like Dario agento so I'm in it it's got the girl from the queen Gambit doesn't it Anya Taylor Joy I still remember her from the witch which I think is uh still her defining role at this point but uh let's see how she goes in this well I think she sort of said a little while ago that she doesn't think she's got the look for movies like she she feels that she's going to be sort of stuck in television cuz she's not the

normal person you see in Hollywood yeah that's true but I think that's probably why she's refreshing right but yeah we're seeing her in so much stuff lately like and I think she's good yeah I think she's good too I mean she's certainly going for the world record of how far apart two eyes can be yes I mean it really sometimes I just it just puzzles me when I'm looking at her face cuz one thing I've sort of noticed in a bit lately like if you got Hollywood everyone's gorgeous and beautiful but in the UK yes they're going n this is just a normal person who can be our television star yeah it's true yeah and in fact in some ways the more odd and interesting looking the better in the UK yeah I've just notic because I've been watching they've got

so many good comedy shows over there like the just a weekly here's this game show with these Comedians and it their celebrity game shows are unmatched aren't they well they have celebrities mhm yeah when we have them in Australia it's who is this person yeah it's true and they're not funny yeah usually they're the like the drummer from some Aussie band you kind of know not really they should get us on there yeah and then everyone can go wait I don't know these guys are these guys celebrities sure why not M mhm mhm cuz I've out that Hollywood's maybe stopped listening to me now okay what was the I came out a little while ago and spoke about Henry kevl and about how he's he's not a movie guy more of a TV actor yeah yeah but now he's going to be in the new

Highlander reboot yeah now I must say out of all the people that have thrown around in the dozen or so years that they've been talking about doing this new re picked him I'm okay with it this is certainly not the worst it was going to be Jason Mamoa last time I heard and I was like also wrong yeah I think they should cuz the reason why I don't think it'll be good to this is It's the muscles I don't see Highlander as being a big muscly guy yeah the Scots are quite a large people Luke yeah but I mean not us skinny bastards the huge muscles that they have yeah but nobody in real life has huge muscles like that Christopher Lambert he's not exactly no I'm not saying he's not fed or anything but he wasn't he wasn't Superman you know who

my body goal is as an older man and and don't get me wrong I'm not this but like the best I possibly hope for now is Harrison Ford early 8s era Harrison Ford where he when men were muscular but still had a bit of a belly bit of a belly then that's that's yeah I'm not getting rid of this belly cuz he never had ABS he he never had ABS no don't need ABS what are they good for he looks strong and manly I mean he might have had them but they were just under some nachos abs are good for doing situps mhm but you only only use get to get them so yeah no not for me like my physio is given up on me my FIA has been trying to work out a plan to help me my leg and she goes and

then we'll start looking getting to the gym and I'm I'm not going to the gym oh wow the gym she's throwing around the G word and she's like and then like do you want to get more active and I'm no really no I don't want to go outside why would I do this so look uh Henry Cav's English which is closer to being Scottish than Christopher Lambert was French um so I think he can do it I think he's probably going to do a better job of the accent mhm he's very physical and it is directed by one of the co-directors of the John Wick Trilogy so we already know lots of guns though yeah is it's going to be like gun stuff but sword stuff I think there's a big difference between gun stuff and sword stuff maybe

have you seen that STS you're further away very true well hopefully whereas sword stuff you need to get up and close what's that early 2000 sci-fi action movie with Christian Bale where they've got guns but they have sword fights with their guns I don't think I've seen anything of that oh it's amazing I think I want to watch this it does sound early 2000s you say Christian Bale it's called equilibrium I've heard of that it's excellent okay well at least it was when I was 20 you've changed a lot that was a long time ago true true oh this is the gun car stuff where they're sort of shooting each other but also punching with it and cuz the guns an extension of your arm stuff yeah no I'm not watching that no no it was good no oh man you are hard to

please I really am but also very easy at the same time yeah that's right I do remember when your favorite actor was that guy who played Stiffler Sean Williams scottt he's got range could do a good job of the Highlander no again I think too musly yeah too musly he's not that musly is he oh he's got shot some shoulders on him yeah okay so we want just a regular dude yeah prefer preferably Scottish you could play it you look more like a Scott than any of the names that got bandied around yes no I didn't see any names with any red beards so yeah so who else cuz they announced someone else didn't they they also announced who was going to be Sean Connor's character I forget his name did they let me I thought they did but I'm looking IM IMDb and

evidently it's only Henry caval still on there okay it would be hard to cast Ramirez he's quite an iconic character even though again completely miscast with Shan connory well he was Scottish but he played Spanish Spanish Egyptian yeah yeah ridiculous great movie though yeah the sequel is also great yeah agreed just different movie and actually the third one is quite good too because it's a sequal to the first one but not the second one so it kind of red cons I don't mind it yeah like I don't I don't think I've seing the third one recently like it's been years but I remember the second one I enjoyed it but not because it was Highlander after that they're awful cuz they were aliens or something weren't they yeah but they've read ConEd

that now too there's a director's cut doesn't mention aliens but here's the thing you know like if you're going to go out just go [ __ ] crazy I think what they should have done is just change the names for the director's cut just stop calling it Highlander too yeah just say look here's some mad sci-fi movie yeah leave it as is done yeah yeah why didn't they do that instead of try to make it fit in the universe just go look this is only just a separate script we had laying around yeah it's a different movie it's just got two of the actors from another movie you might have heard of mhm it has only a passing resemblance to that movie anyway yeah but no I'll watch this I'm interested I'm interested to be honest I liked John Wick but I didn't like either

of the sequels I thought they were a bit shallow but uh I'm happy to see them why everything has to be a Trilogy know well we're actually moving past that it's not a Trilogy anymore now it's a it's a franchise it's a franchise it's a Cinematic Universe yeah just just make a movie well speaking of Cinematic Universe there was another trailer that dropped this week for the eternals now I must admit this trailer looks better than I expected it to but I don't know there's nothing really hooking me in here and I think I know why M like with other Marvel things that they've done um like guarding into the Galaxy why you may not know too much about them you knew of them mhm but for us well at least in my case eternals I know absolutely nothing like could not tell you a name a a power

or anything like that and I think that's where it might be struggling yeah don't know either don't know have not read if these I assume these exist in comic form have not read them but I hadn't read Guardians either but that first trailer just I was like okay I'll watch this this looks [ __ ] great and it was this looks okay looks like you know superheroes from the distant Past coming together in the future or the present which it may be very very diverse looking cast which is great but uh yeah you're going to have to do something to entice me Marvel yeah cuz at the moment I'm I I will watch it but I'm going to be watching it when it comes to Disney plus I'm not going to be going to the movies for it at the moment the one Marvel I'm looking forward to going to

see the movies cuz I will go see black wi Widow is that uh shangi of the 10 rings that good that looks surprisingly good and the reason I really want to go see it I actually just like the actor yeah yeah like I know him from Kim's Convenience and he seems like a nice guy I could have a beer with so want support his movie yeah no I would agree with that uh I think it's also good that there's uh an American Hollywood movie with a Chinese American actor in the lead role I think he's Canadian well there you go um I do have a date for Dune on here cuz I'm looking at movies coming up oh do you 6 of September okay that's not too far that's not far at all oh man they better not push that I've

been waiting so long you going to watch this Luke uh I probably will just so we can discuss it but I'm not looking forward to it are you going to watch just that first scene where Duncan Idaho comes up behind him and then turn it off yep you shouldn't sit with your back to the door I knew it was you heard the steps blah blah first page of first far as I've gotten I've tried so times it gets very good after that actually after that it's boring for a little bit cuz it's just a lot of talking and a lot of setup but then eventually one or 200 pages in it gets real good cuz the other thing that's coming out in August that i' people are starting to talk really well about is the suicide squad yes yeah that's on my radar for sure um like some previous

screenings have gone out and I saw James gun tweeting and yeah that's well of course he thinks it's good well the person who was in the test audience thought it was good yeah actually I'm pretty sure James gun would come out and admit it if everyone hated it yeah he tweet that he'd be like well we had a test audience no one liked it yeah this is not gone well just preparing you all now yeah yeah no I'm psyched for that is there a James Bond release date on that list you got um I'm looking at it and oh I can't see it yeah as far as I know that is indefinitely postponed um painting a whole lot of visual effects they've got to redo what why because the gadgets he's using are apparently 3 years old now

oh um the thing I'm worried about is cuz they really seem insistent on this has to go to the movies MH this leads me to think it's not good now I have a reason for mhm so if a lot of times if movies sort of don't have a good box office rund and but they still a good movie they'll make it when they go get sold streaming and people go and buy a copy if they're that adamant that they this needs to go I don't think they're confident that they'll make money after that they may need to get their money back in that initial interesting like showing just feeling it does mean that they certainly haven't got an offer from Netflix or anyone like that that's high enough to consider so you could be right I don't know whether this looks

good or not but it is directed by Carrie fukunaga who did the first season of True Detective uh and I'm very interesting to see what he does with it cuz if you look a lot of the other stuff they finally just went like look yeah watch it pay a bit extra and you can watch it on here or just they've just released it because they know they can still make the money well I just watched the trial of Chicago 7 on Netflix which was meant to come out at the cinema and then didn't and so they just put it on Netflix yeah and it was excellent it was very good I recommend that highly but here's what here's what the rest of the year so it's going start to get interesting we have where um one I want to see that you you might find a little weird is the hitman's wife's body guard I actually

haven't seen any of yeah there's is there only one so far or is there only one the H's bodys and it's like Ryan Reynolds and Sam and it's not a bad movie me reason I haven't seen that the movies that's a more of a maybe because I'm happy just to watch that on the small screen that's probably if people are getting together and just want to see a movie what's on oh this will please everyone yeah 8th of July we've got black widow I probably will go see that yeah I mean you know I'm Kan yeah um there's the jungle cruise in July no sorry did you just say no to Jungle Cruise yeah isn't that a Dwayne Johnson picture I don't have to see him in everything okay all right I think I think fans that just think that anything

that someone there likes is in if they automatically think well that's going to be great I don't think they're true fans fair is there a trailer for Jungle Cruise do we know anything about it other than the fact that it's based on a Disney ride no not really I know yeah but I'm not going to go see that I'm definitely not going to pay to see the movies but there have been there have been good movies based on Disney rides part of the Caribbean was great the first one yeah but no but fifth of August is Suicide Squad okay yeah no I'll be going to that for sure 12th of August is free guy free guy I want to go see it so it's Ryan Reynolds and I like Ryan Reynolds okay yeah he plays a character in a video game so sort of like those NP characters like

you're running around blowing up the the world shooting rocket launchers cars and he's just an employee at a bank and it's just sort of following him and then something happens and yeah High Jinx insur Bank realizes he's a background character in an open world video game okay that's fantastic that's great watch been waiting for that's something was true to come out last year but I've been waiting on Ryan Reynolds is another one of those actors that I think if he wasn't super handsome if he just looked normal he'd probably just be a regular dude that you could just hang out with he's seems like a nice guy and that's and he's now hanging out with a rock is he yeah man he's making friends all over the place cuz he's hanging out with Rob meleni now too cuz they brought us a

football team or something together they did buy a football team and now there's a reality show about them buying the football team okay um 2nd of September shangi the legend of 10 Rings yeah I'm there then 21st of October is last night in SoHo so they've done this timing well I was about to suggest ask going to see shangi together actually but I'll be very very busy that first week of September or maybe not busy at all you can't plan about when they're coming she's due a week before then so if she's not she will rock up ready yeah mhm uh and then that's sort of it for the year okay like there's jeus creepers reborn no thanks uh Tom Top Gun nah I don't have that Nostalgia for the original Top Gun that a lot of people have if Matt was here probably be piping

up and defending it but I just don't care to me it just seems pretty unrealistic there's no way he would still be an Air Force pilot 40 years after the first one well is he a pilot maybe do we know if he's just maybe he's the trainer that might work but he he's going to end up in a plane there's no way Tom Cruz does not get in a plane for this I just I watched this semi recently A couple of years ago for the probably the second time ever I think I saw saw it in the ' 80s and then I didn't see it till year before last and it's just a movie about a whole bunch of really unlikable [ __ ] yeah and I just don't get it I just don't none of them are nice they're all just completely arrogant Top Gun and Days of Thunder are just the same movie ones about cars and

ones about flying like they it's true and I actually would prefer Days of Thunder Over Top Gun any day of the week maybe we'll get a sequel to that I'll be okay with that I bet it's awful though I bet if re and that would be awful the one thing I really remember about that one is when they get the higher cars and just go trash them I remember that there's a a stripper dressed up like a cop at one point and then he and that's why he thinks when he's in hospital and the doctor comes in he thinks that she's a stripper yeah and takes his her hand and puts it on his dick yeah and then they fall in love in real life and in the movie we have some other Tom Cruz news right oh we do I'm surprised we don't

this will surprise you none uh Tom Cruz wants to make a movie in space because he's made movies on Earth he's made most of his movies on Earth and he's bored he's very bored yeah um so of course Hollywood have said yes um we will put you on the ISS and you can film a movie up there and so what happens when the Americans say that they're going to do anything involving space Russia says no we're going to do it first so Russia are sending a crew to the ISS the month before to make a movie before Tom Cruz can so I think they need to be careful um no there's a reason behind this cuz do you remember the Challenger disaster yes I do that was that sort of slowed down like us going to space and it was because they were starting to get

a bit gimmicky with it like it's hey we're going to take a teacher op and she's going to teach us from space like it's not really something and I'm worried about this is sort of heading in that same direction not focusing on the science and something to help us like going up to film a movie something we need I think you could probably I I do agree with you I completely agree with you but at the same time it it is going to take private Enterprise to get us back into space because the governments of the world are not spending any money on this no you and and and like SpaceX is doing amazing stuff and things like that but like I want them to ridel talk a while ago about us trying to catch an Comet yes and bring it back to Earth and then mine it that's the type of stuff

that will keep me Interest gimicks but going up to film theit is they got to go to space yeah true and it's probably not going to look as good and they're going to have to do a lot of special effects to make it look good because reading this article it looks like whole idea is they going to go up and be in the ISS space station mhm there's not a lot of room in there it smells it's just full of dust and it's not it's very small yeah and I think they'll get up there and then go well this isn't working and then come back and then have to film most of lot of stuff back on Earth yeah look I don't know what Tom Cruz's movie is about but

um the Russian movie is set on the ISS and it's just about um a medical emergency and they have to send a non- astronaut doctor from Earth to the ISS to uh do some emergency procedures it sounds trip back down you yeah I can see it yeah it sounds interesting and Russia do make some good science fiction they do but is this so much science fiction or is this cuz that the fact that they have to send someone in the space to do this doesn't that's not science fiction to me that's yeah we we send doctors to space now MH true not in this exact scenario yeah um would you like to hear the casting call for the lead role of this Russian science movie is it me it's not you well let me read it out okay and you tell me if this matches you mhm okay must be Russian citizen okay that's not

line previous acting experience not required unnecessary if anything you're overqualified to me being able to act should be like one of the top ones NOP just me no no but yeah no I I I find this is I know why they want to do it to be the first one to do it but to me it's just gimmicky and it just end up taking more special effects to make it look like even though they're really in space it's not going to look like they're in space yeah now we did report many years ago that there was going to be a porno shot in zero gravity did that ever get made no because that was back when remember of Virgin was having the Galaxy spacecraft I think it was part of that

haven't heard anything from that project since one of them crashed really when I was in Norway waiting to go on my ill-fated North Pole Expedition there was a group of eccentric millionaires who were also stranded in Norway with us we snowed into this hotel for several days and all we did was just eat and drink and talk yeah they were talking about how bu of them had tickets for the Virgin Galactic and one of them was like he offered me Richard offered me but I'm not going to go I've got no interest no interest in going to space well I could sort of understand not wanting to go on that because that wasn't like a hey you going to space to stay there it was a hey you pay quarter of a million dollars we fly you up mhm and then you come back down

difference oh man there's so many flat earthers listening to this right now going oh no you can't yeah they they don't understand how it works anything just make [ __ ] up that's what they do if they told me I had a seat on it I'd go but if they told me if they said or you can hold out and in like 10 years we'll give you a seat on the the Luna whatever they want to call that instead that would have to be an absolute definite going to be made because like 10 years like am I going to live for another 10 years man i' I'd keep myself healthy for 10 years if I knew I could go to the moon like if I was able to go there land get up go for a walk yeah jump off a 3 m high diving board you'd be good on the

moon it's just occurred to me because their gravity is so different I think you'd be borderline athletic on the moon I think cuz gravity is half your problem Luke it's one of those weird things like you see them all moving that they seems quite slow but I can understand why when you're walking cuz you sort of when you take a step you sort of have to float back down but why are their arms slow when they're moving around is it that they're moving their arms or is it that they're not doing anything with their arms and their arms are just floating in the void maybe I'm going to have to ask Buzz he's still alive isn't he you're 91 years old he's retirement he retired July 1st

1971 he's been retired for 50 years that's great God I don't think I I don't think I get to retire for another 50 years yeah I know right speaking of conspiracy theorists um yes there's obviously there's that big sect of Luna Landing didn't happen theorists um and uh my favorite kind of line of debunking on that when people say no no no it's just it was you know movie Magic that you know showed them floating in space and all of that it's like yeah uh actually at that time in the' 60s it would have been easier to send a rocket to the moon than it would be to create visual effects that compelling one thing a lot of them come out those deniers is the fact that they never tested the lunar landra on Earth and it's sort of like

well for one you're wrong they did test it I think um but also how do you test something that's to be flown in zero gravity when we have gravity yeah yeah you can you can test something mathematically yeah like or they could really yeah but that's one of the big things like you wouldn't do that without testing that out first how yeah yeah yeah there's a lot of [ __ ] we send to space to test it out yeah like we've done the research we think this is what it is and and well remember like they couldn't even get insurance when they were going to land on the moon like no no insurance agcy was going to go yep we give you life insurance so they had they were signing things H so they were signing

body cuz this is how we make our money now um speaking of insurance um I found this story very interesting and it was only when I really looked into it that that it made sense to me um there's a okay so people are getting vaccinated now You' been vaccinated have you had your second I get my second one in two or 3 weeks or something okay I've heard there's a medical center near me that's just given them away so I'm going to go in and try to get one yeah so what happens is they've only got they've got a certain number in the vial and if they don't use it on once they open it up if they don't use it on the day it's throwing it away so much rather give it to someone than yeah yeah well there's a medical center

in the building I work in so I'm just going to go down the end of the day and just say say hey jab me the the big thing you're going to have to check is which one it is oh yes because it's the Astro zenica one which is the one that's the easiest to get they won't give it to you cuz you're under 50 ah sure really just under 50 blood clots oh yeah sure that's the one I got before they worked out that was an issue funny so um you know a lot of places are saying you're not going to be able to do X Y or Z unless you've been vaccinated you know but big one I think will be once travel opens back up I think a lot of countries are going to be having a you're not coming in if you're not vaccinated yeah well the European

Union has said this week that um as of next year they're going to allow travel by anyone who's had the vaccine into Europe but only if you've had one of the americanmade vaccines and not if you've had one of the Russian or Chinese made vaccines oh okay so they are all different there it's a there's one choice there's so many so there's also the flip side so a hairdresser up in Queensland has put up a sign outside saying if you've had your covid vaccine you are not allowed in here what because to them the side effects of the covid vaccine are more unpredictable than the side effects

of um but the side effects from the vaccine don't affect anyone except the person who got vac true and I thought that too until I read a little further and found out that you can't be insured for the side effects of the vaccine like you can for the symptoms of Co so possibly it's just them trying to cover their ass legally or possibly they just don't understand yeah cuz um so what yeah they are they thinking that people are going to have fast move like jerkiness when they're after getting or something it just yeah it just seems weird yeah I mean I I I don't think you can catch a blood clot from sitting next to someone with a blood clot for example oh

basically to be one of the people that gets that blood clock type thing you would have to basically it's like the lotto is how rare that is like it's one in a million chance type of thing and I was fine so everyone else should be yeah man you were fine so yeah um it just seems very confusing so is the person who owns a HED are they antix or I couldn't ascertain if they were literally antix they're just anti this particular vax I know know that some people are concerned about it because of how fast this one was pushed out normally they go through a bit more testing but if you look at the stage like how many millions of people in America have got it

now look yeah that's true field testing counts yes but also I know this was condensed to a short period of time but they had literally every research scientist in America working on it simultaneously yeah it's not like it was one of the other vaccines that comes out that there's not that urgency like it's going to be good if we can sort of get rid of this but it's not going to [ __ ] the world if we don't get it done in the next few months yeah this probably won't be the last time we have something like this in our lifetime they actually a lot of the scientists were actually shocked about they were expecting one what something like this to sort of come around once every sort of like 40 odd years yeah the last one we really had that got to this stage was

I think it was the Spanish flu after the the world wars but if you remember we have had others that swine flu AV flu that did cause never impacted us which is why yeah we're so but has infected other countries true it's true which is why when I was in Singapore when this whole thing started everyone kicked in a gear very quickly while Australia was still very complacent and yeah I think a lot of people that actually understand that like we've been lucky in the past one like SARS and things like that but we haven't had to lock down to this extent but other countries have already yeah well I mean disease experts are saying that we got off easy and economists are saying we got off easy that uh you know it's kind of a miracle our economy

wasn't crippled and then the next time this happens it probably will be yeah so yeah we just need to be careful and people need to stop thinking about themselves and half reading Facebook articles to get information mhm but also don't get your information from this podcast either we're not experts oh God no no no we're just talking about what what our everyday lives what we come across like we have no idea listen to people with degrees and stuff degrees in that field yes yeah just not someone who goes hey I'm a doctor do this you don't have to be a real doctor to call yourself a doctor anymore yeah that's right um do you want to move on from Co

to some Star Wars news I love talking about Star Wars a lot more than I like talking about Co so yes me too and I've got some good news for the first time in a long time somebody has been promoted over there at Lucas film Lucas film Lucas Arts Lucas film Lucas film Lucas film um and I couldn't be happier to learn that Dave filon is the executive creative director of Star Wars going forward best move they could have made yeah finally it feels they've learned from their mistakes and from their successes yeah I I really hope so cuz I still I want I do want more Star Wars stuff yeah me too like I really do yeah I just want good Star Wars stuff as well yeah and if if if Dave filon holds up the

Mandalorian as his Benchmark this is the yeah this is what we're aiming for that's right no this is great this is great news um although some of the content we already know is either on hold or scrapped because the Rangers of the Rangers of the new Republic is that the new Republic so that one was going to be a spin-off do you remember in the Mandalorian season 2 there was the X-Wing Pilots oh yeah yeah yeah yeah one of them is in Kim's Convenience and that was just awesome but they were looking to make a spin-off sort of including sort of them i' watched the [ __ ] out of that I was really looking forward to it but now there is the rumor that that's been put on hold because of a certain person yeah see I don't understand why

they can't just do the show without her you so we're talking about Jina corano evidently she was going to be in R of the Old Republic but since man this has really stitched them up because I think I mean we we didn't really care neither here nor there about her performance her character was perfectly good terrible wasn't it was she did she was the heavy she played the heavy and yeah she was fine but I think they were counting on her being you know the next big thing and uh she's not going to be she's not going to be no not not for Lucas film for yeah but cuz they really just need to like they're bringing out Rogue Squadron which is great I'm looking forward to that but I would preferred this road to be a television series and follow around

those two X-Ring guys yeah get up into high Jinx that would be Fant like a buddy cop movie but with those guys but at the moment we're not sure because if that's it's not officially on hold it's just rumors at the moment well it's apparently not in their production lineup which doesn't mean it's been cancelled it just means they've got no plans to start it the future like cuz they when they announced all this stuff to they announced a lot mhm like there was what 15 projects or something yeah and they finally confirmed the Obi-Wan show which they've been rumoring for years yep got the ob one we get the book of Boba Fett which that one I'm I'm okay with that I'm okay with it but I'm also not mhm I still I really

do have this horrible LoveHate relationship with Star Wars at the moment cuz I don't understand it anymore yeah yeah like all the characters I love like have you seen that Brie lon's evidently rumored to be playing the character of Mara Jade yeah or at least a character with the name of Mara Jade I who knows if she'll be anything like the mara Jade we knew cuz the second I say I go yes that's great and then I remembered but she's not the Mari J that I have been reading in imagining for the last 20 oh no 30 years imagining came yes God and yeah 30 years 30 years ago Mar J was sort of put out into the world and yeah and but she's not going to be she she might be Emperor's hand that

could still be a thing so she was sort of like the emperor had her she was not an apprentice not like wasn't like full Sith but was a hey go assassinate this guy Black Ops more of that but she may not be that anymore she was also in version I know Luke Skywalker's wife yes well evidently he went lived on a planet and Jered off onto a rock while sucking sucking blue milk out of a cow yeah yeah and in by version she also had people with wives don't do that she also had a child mhm and with Luke and so yeah it's I really would they they were just they need to go away from this and I think that's where they're going wrong with

some stuff I tell you that's definitely not going to happen because there's going to be no more Luke they're not going to make more stuff about Luke for for sure they've put that to bed well but but or if you got Mara Jade coming back and she's a Jedi and Luke's the one that's shining the Jedi there's a chance for him to come back but who are you going oh I mean I guess they could Mandalorian at spoilers last episode of Mandalorian doing it for a whole movie might be a bit much but uh I mean [ __ ] it I'd watch it we're getting closer and the more research and technology that goes into it it may get to a point where it looks better yeah at the moment yes for a few scenes it still a bit off-putting sometimes but if it could get better and then we can see

Mari Jade and Luke and baby Yoda in a three-way yeah he's 50 it's legal suppose he can get his uh his covid vaccine mhm look I I think they should get Mar Hill in a studio and they should put some of uh James Cameron's moap technology on him and then just get him to say and do everything yep while he's still alive so that in the future we can sounds like a bit of a threat and that's what I do yeah yeah while you still have time Mark H but yeah like yeah I I just want him to go away like that's why I'm not looking forward to Obi-Wan Kenobi that sort of show that they're doing because two

words for you Luke Hayden Christensen cuz what they're saying is like like you don't know he didn't hang around on tattooing all the time watching L he went off and did stuff and sort of like no yeah well they'll do that and if that does well they'll do the mara Jade where Luke didn't hang around on that [ __ ] Island he was off doing stuff as well and he occasionally went back to jerk off onto that rock and suck off that cow yeah they were in a committed relationship very that's why he looked at Ray and was like what say something say anything you bigot you got a problem with interspecies

love um new toys announced for at um Galaxy's Edge this both makes me excited and also a bit sad yeah yeah so for the low price of 199 USD not too bad really no um you can now get yourself an official dark saber now you could always get your custom lightsabers yeah very popular yeah but so I cuz I was I should actually have one of these in my hands right now cuz R the plan was we were going to go to Disneyland for my 40th y we're going to stay at the hotel and I was going to buy do do the experience where I got to build My lightsaber Y and for

$200 to go through that experience I think would be amazing like picking your Hilt picking your Crystal all that stuff and I probably wouldn't go at dark saber no I think if you if you had the choice you'd have to go the the traditional yeah but I can understand why people would like the dark saber it's pretty cool definitely cool the thing is though the thing that's cool to me about the dark saber is that it's all rough you know it's it's like kylo Ren's lightsaber you know it's got that kind of homemade feel whereas this one is really smooth and nice looking which is kind of defeats the purpose really cuz it's sort of weird like it's funny you just said like that one he made himself type of thing they're all meant to be like that there's no like saber shop

yeah that's true yeah yeah in although that's one of the things that the prequel sort of ruined yes remember when like when Obi-Wan presented Luke with the lights this is your father's he wanted you to have when you're old enough and it was it felt like it was a big thing to be presented that and then the prequels were I've lost another one I yeah give me another one you got to stop losing them took away that room of little kids who just all have one yeah like that that moment that nice moment in your first stes movie sort of gets Ru by the fact that yeah he had dozens of these yeah yes especially since I mean even in force awakens they kind of they're still going down that route that branches off from New Hope where there

is only a certain amount of these lightsabers in existence so if you found one it's very significant yes they found one on the Planet best beenin I also remember there was a deleted scene from Return of the Jedi um where Luke was building his own yeah yeah and we know it was actually a practical reason why they changed him from blue to green it was because they were for the first time shooting an outdoor scene during the day and they were like oh this is not going to show up against the sky make it green but just having that scene where he's kind of sitting in that cave just constructing his own lightsaber is is a another very ific moment yeah and that sort of leads back to that that first one like this is a personal thing

something especially since he lost his in the jeel with Darth Vader along with his hand is his hand still clinging to that handle well it was at the time that's what I mean like yeah did when they find it was like was it still flesh and blood or it just a skeleton or did they separate right yes that would be a great scene if you we're going to have to ask JJ Abrams yeah and he will never tell you no cuz he didn't think about that no it got there don't know how you to work out there probably is a story about how it got there in the comics or books now but yeah or maybe one of the cartoons oh we have been left behind yeah I bet there is I can't know all of Star Wars anymore no because it's not all for us

anymore yeah yeah cuz even now like people are watching the the new the Clone wall s of spin off the bad batch mhm which is sort of the clone troopers but older yeah I think I don't know I'm not watching it I think we our generation is in a a unique position to claim ownership over Star Wars at least we feel we are because when it came out there was no older generation who lik think it's sort of weird that we sort of claim it it was out and done before we were born yeah true true we have no right to claim it as our no but when we saw it there we were the little kids but now for some reason we resent the little kid content that they make for it could still remember the first time I saw saw a Star Wars movie oh me too I've been watching

ads on the television for weeks talking about retur of the Jedi was going air on television for the first time so this is like mid 80s cuz it came out in ' 83 and back then it' be movies and then a year for VHS yeah and another year year or two before it came to television so it was a big thing I didn't really wasn't understand it and I thought there were people riding bikes like with this Speeder Bike Chase I thought it was actually like bike you understand got my parents to record it but I snuck out of bed I sat behind my Dad's chair so family couldn't see me and I watched it and that's where I started to go I like Star Wars yeah that's amazing that's that exact story of sneaking out and sitting behind the sofa watching the

screen is how I watched Ghostbusters for the first time and all day at school kids were teasing me because they were allowed to stay up and watch it and I begged my parents and my bedtime was 8:30 which was the time started so like no you can't watch it now they weren't Pricks they said you can tape it and watch it tomorrow after and I was like no I have to be able to talk about it at school tomorrow bedtime is now yeah that was the only way to watch it but no I remember that too cuz I remember seeing the toys for Return of the Jedi in the stores and going what is this this looks pretty cool um yeah because that would have been yeah rur of Jedi would have been the biggest thing at that time it's not Star Wars we would have our first experience would have been all the hype

and talking about return yeah and I still saw them in order cuz cuz I think return was you I only just come out and I certainly didn't see it at the movies cuz yeah cuz remember I was also younger I was a year so but yeah no that was I still remember that but watching more and but the thing is at that age I didn't understand the numbering either and I kept going I want to see the first one and my parents could not get it through to me that there is no first one that's right yeah I had that same conversation with my parents except that they would know more cluey than I was about it they were like well we don't know why there's not a first one like yeah it was quite confusing and there's no internet to go research to go what's happening here you

know what's funny when I was a kid I just assumed my Dad loved Star Wars because he would always watch it with me and then as an adult I said something about Star Wars he's like oh that garbage and I was like he was just doing it to spend time with you yeah yeah I don't think my family's ever watched Star Wars with me yeah i' tried a long long time they brought me the books so so
