Heroes Don't Do That: Harley Quinn, Young Indiana Jones & Loki

it was it was walking did you hunt it for sport no I I I hid from it actually are you allowed to shoot a bear uh that's a good question I think it says that if it's attacking you yes if it's in your your home yeah I'm just going off the South Park episode for many many years of dangerous and delicious animals if it it's coming right for us if it draws first I think you're allowed yeah a bad shot yeah if you go to New Jersey at dawn and the doctor turns around so you can have deniability yeah then I can shoot a bear yeah yeah did decad see the bear oh yeah oh yeah yeah yeah and then Griffin too Jenna's parents dog and Griffin how did they handle it uh Griffin yelled at it quite a lot which actually made it run away W definitely wanted to to fight it I think or play

with it yeah don't don't fight a black bear yeah you might have wanted to just play Luke bring race into this okay that's what you saw it was a black bear it was a black bear I forget which one the black bear is the one that's more likely to kill you than a brown bear oh come on Luke I don't know just because they're part of a lower socioeconomic actually aren't they sort of like top of the food chain uh again I don't know a lot about bears how did you partial test to become an American yeah sorry I thought that all no they were just like would you shoot a black and Matt just went yes and they were like no let me finish so yeah a bear uh wandered through our our driveway in want so that was cool and did it steal anything I don't think so I don't know what it was

after it was just kind of walking through I think cuz I remember you have been told by people who live there like don't put leave rubbish here and now you definitely I was tempted to do it so I could see a bear and now I have but I so I didn't have to do that but it's funny I actually said to people on Friday I forget people at work I don't know why we were talking about specifically but I was talking about how like you know all the beasts that I want to see in North America and how you know we were looking for Buffalo Sasquatch on Sasquatch on our road trip around the US jeno and I were looking for for Buffalo and then for ages we couldn't see any we couldn't find yeah bison I think it's same thing right it's cuz the set were different buffalo and bison aren't the same thing

I don't know one's an animal one's a character from a video game Jesus M bison just see walking around with his hairy chest same thing they are the same simply bison are also commonly known as the American Buffalo or simply Buffalo huh knew that we a million of SE things once we'd seen one of them and so now I assume I'm going to see bears everywhere everywhere yeah but you're right about not leaving [ __ ] out for them because I once left fruit out because I was told don't leave fruit out or monkeys will come and I was like monkeys want see the monkeys oh my God you do not want to see monkeys especially when they're hungry and they know you have food and they want to come in your house yeah cuz they'll wreck stuff you fed us once we

want to be fed every day now I'm bringing my mates all these mates y cousins it's like when you see those people who feed birds at their house like you know and then they that person stops feeding and then they start like ripping the tiles off yeah you have to move out and poor people you just give them food they just won't go away America North American black poor people so are you in a state where you can buy fireworks or we can buy some fireworks in Rhode Island not the in air quotes good ones yeah but I I didn't this year because deck does not appreciate fireworks at all he was hiding in the bathroom all night last night a yeah so oh because they have a big firework show at the

lake over there and it was [ __ ] like an hour and and cuz everybody around also had them too and like I said you can't get I said you can't get them but I mean Road Island's not very big you don't have to drive very far to be in another state where you can get them so it's not hard so there was a lot of exploding in the Sky last night yeah I H think r a stage where we don't need fireworks anymore I completely agree you've seen fireworks you've seen them they're not interesting I don't get the like the the like the New Year's Eve stuff but imagine Luke imagine if austral was like America and once the New Year's Eve fireworks went off like over Sydney Harbor everyone watching also just started letting their own off the should think Australia will be on fire and

we'll have a fireworks show really yeah yeah the Australia you got to be real careful with with fireworks like yeah cuz that's why they got rid of firecracker night yeah cuz you literally burned the country that and also people blew their hands off I think they have trouble with that in California as well to be honest to be to be fair I mean specifically California yeah well California has wildfires every year they get the wildfires oh I see people blowing their hands off with CRA about that too California is like Australia light when it comes to to bush fires actually you know what that's not even fair because when it comes to everything M I don't mean to belittle it by saying light or you know make light of it I mean cuz it's pretty [ __ ] bad

we'll send firefighters over to help them and they firefighters over to help us they we s just take turns helping each other each summer yeah helics they can't make wine if all the grapes burn it's a disaster even well it's not even if they burn it's even just the Smoke Plus any dwarves F cuz I I was seeing I was reading what would happened to the one industry in Australia like just the smoke so they all look fine but when they did test on them after the grapes were all grown they they were not usable yeah H well maybe it's like you know in whiskey you want that kind of smoky flavor I guess I'm not a wine drinker but I guess don't you don't want that in wine no I think in wine you want the dirt flavor isn't it dirt flavor yeah

that's what all wine tastes like to me really and and it's got an earthy Aroma earthy is dirt I love a good red wine I was drinking some uh some a Frankie Copa Sav Blanc the other night oh yeah yeah Nappa when it's not on fire yeah yeah he Mak some some wines uh I don't mind a fortified wine for sure oh yeah bit of pork I was drinking a yeah drinking a glass of T Port last night actually delicious I think it's a good thing that I don't like the taste of wine could be yeah cuz Wine's cheap yeah and you would probably like very cheap wine L I was going to say you would You' drink like spumanti or passion Pole or something ision wine is it can we really class that as wine it's shamp Pagan yeah is it even that it's disgusting that's

what it is that's what we used to drink in high school three bucks a bottle a bottle now when I was a kid and my parents had a party there would always be a box of Tropicana oh Tropicana yeah that's what you used to play Wheel of goon with go wheel of go you'd have like terrible tasting ones and then Tropicana which was the nice nice one in air quotes did you used to play it that there were three disgusting ones and one nice one all the opposite I played three disgusting ones and one nice one I don't think we could afford four boxes of wine here no that's what you do you have you have one on each side of the one in each corner of the hills hoist yeah right people going what's a cloth L they say for American listeners yeah a Hills hoist I mean they do know what they are

here Google it you'll see and you'll go oh that thing that we don't really have here people don't hang their clothes outside at all here actually everyone uses a dryer anyway dryer y cuz they'll get stolen by the North American black bears so you pin up the bag out of a box of wine or or sorry sorry I'm remembering this wrong clearly yeah the bladder sorry the pillow yeah yeah it does make a very good pillow after and you'll need it you'll need it yeah you pin them up to the the clothes line and you spin it and then you drink what you get yeah when everyone lands in front of you that's what you have to take a mouthful of it's like in the bottle but everyone loses yes it's probably not a good game to play during Co it's not a good game to play at all

be honest it's good when you're young you used to put fireworks on the Hills hoist too when I was a kid when you were allowed to do that in Australia oh Christ can you still get fireworks no wonder they're banned no you can't even get them in camera anymore they stop selling fireworks in cber the year I moved CRA used to be the New Jersey of Australia mhm like CRA used to be place you buy porn yeah and have corn and fireworks hardcore cber have finally now a year a bit after Co started said fine [ __ ] it wear masks yep I went like the entire thing not wearing a mask last week I've had the we one when I'm in the shop and to be clear that's where the whole government is yes like but the the reason why we were able to do it is

because when the rest of the country lock down that had cases we're isolated sure yeah yeah no one wants to go to camera no cuz that's all that's there is the government yeah and L you work for the government or supporting or working in shops to support the government yeah a fireworks store no not anymore my theory was that they the hardcore porn and fireworks were legal in CRA so the politicians wouldn't get in trouble for buying it all I think they made no secret of that if you as as a local should you be saying that on this podcast Luke well that's fine okay oh you're you're on the border of New South Wales anyway you can always F I'm in New South Wales now I read an article a few weeks ago

that says that Queen Bean is the new cultural Hub of New South Wales um queenan feels like how what pen did about 30 years ago so not not the cultural Hub then yeah no it's sort of like you remember High Street when it was just like shops and couple of pubs like that type of stuff not the hyperdome not the hyp doome the Plaza yeahor Westfield as it is now but just the I understand you mixing up westfields and the plaza because it was called one now it's called another what the [ __ ] is a hyperdome the hyperdome is Camper's equivalent of the plaza okay hyperdome or Westfield that's a better name actually I think they've changed the name of it wish I could say I'm just going to the hyperdome for a minute and and then I'd teleport away yeah I mean

there's a big difference between saying I work at the mall and I work at the hyperdome work at the hyperdome to two men enter one man leaves I uh I went down to CRA for work once and I stayed in quinan and I remember everyone warned me not to leave the hotel room and uh and I didn't is it that bad yeah it's not no nowhere's that bad though no I've well I've some places in America are that bad am in Australia yeah austral places where they don't make cars anymore we yeah exactly exactly some of those places I've heard that's pretty bad yeah it is quite bad I've been a couple of places in the third world where they wouldn't for insurance purposes allow me out without a

bodyguard yeah you've been to some pretty dodgy places mhm they're fun though yeah and you survive yeah yeah cuz I had a [ __ ] armed bodyguard Luke uh are you aware that another wish that you made on this podcast has been granted by our friends at Hollywood who listen in each week no what's happened last week on the show you said casually and off hand I'd love to see more episodes of the young Indiana Jones Chronicles and Hollywood said sure we'll reboot that awesome so not only can you watch it they're making a new one for you new one yeah I just really hope they stick with the same tone that it's like just a lighthearted yeah not too ser serous awesome I'm all in the undercurrent of uh the young Indiana

Jones Chronicles really is Indiana Jones has met every historical figure that was alive during his lifetime I maybe they'll expand that as well it'll be you know Indiana Jones versus gangas Khan Indiana I would watch the [ __ ] out of that Matt um the first time I ever got my hands on a video cam quar um was when listen Grant's dad brought one home from work to test out and we were like we can make our own film and I can't remember whether this was just the greatest mashup we could think of or whether we couldn't agree on what story to do but we made we made Robin Hood meets MacGyver what yeah we made it it exists um m

makes a time machine you know out of paddle pops and sticky tapes Etc yep finds himself back in medieval times and has to help Robin Hood Fight The Sheriff of Nottingham oh okay I thought they just meet each other hi I'm Robin Hood oh hi I'm mcgyver all right yeah we did a little sit down thing good to meet you what's things like in your world oh bit [ __ ] better than this [ __ ] all yeah I'm just people are mean to the poor people oh yeah me too same I've got a working toilet where I'm [Laughter] from I've got the black plague all right all right not competition okay just call it the plague for God's sake so I I got to stop you though but this this can't Harrison fors is too old to be in this show and he's made it very clear that he is Indiana Jones and

nobody else will ever the fact that there are two other Indiana Joneses although there's three others Indiana Jones child Indiana Jones and teenager Indiana Jones and Luke there's a fourth because there's also elderly Indiana Jones in the young Indiana Jones Chronicles some episodes but you're forgetting Harrison for Phoenix killed mhm so that's true yeah he was like take some cocaine I don't know what voice that was and I'm just going to go Harrison I know you think you're going to be Jones but the second year gone give it 5 years will be a replacement [ __ ] around obviously but all right so a new Young Indiana I got to watch the old one again I do want to sit down

and watch the old ones if you decide to watch it again feedback to me and let me know what the [ __ ] the deal is with the third season do you remember no no no no okay so I don't think I've even seen all the episodes my hazy memory of it well they played them they didn't play them all when they went to air in Australia and they played them out of sequence yeah but season one inia Jones is about 9 years old right goes on adventures with his mom and Dad season two he's a teenager goes on adventures when he's like college Age season three same guy who played him as a teenager but now he's a soldier in World War I and he's got a different name okay um did he maybe change his name Jud to fact he was maybe too young to go to war could be could be so if you

watch it I do remember watching him in the war and stuff and it just he he started off as a runner I think correct but they didn't call him watching a different show D that's my point did they just say hey there's another show with this guy in it from roughly the same time we could just Rebrand it but also remember his name isn't Indiana right no it's Henry but it's it's something completely different in this Hinrich CU I think when he's a kid when he's a kid the dad calls him Henry might have to have a look for it Matt you um you brought up something last week that I wanted to touch on um to do with Indiana Jones Okay um some of the set photos had some Nazi stuff and you brought up at what age is Indie playing where they're still Nazis yes

right and the the shuttle butt on the Internet is that he is going to be deaged for to some scenes oh oh right no no well yes I I saw that makes sense I saw a thing about how one of the stunt guys was on a World War II era motorbike with a Harrison Ford mask [Laughter] on I hope that's not a placeholder I hope they're just like think they can get away with that it's like that shab buff music video yes the the sh buff masks on except it's well maybe maybe there will be a sh buff mask as well I want to watch that again honest to God guys shy La buff was by far not the worst thing about that film no no no bring bring Shia back as much I don't

care yeah [ __ ] they made they made John HZ movie how do you make John htz suck you ask him real nice [Laughter] niely yeah so I my point I think there's there's flashbacks in this new movie is probably what I'm guessing yeah World War II era flashbacks remember the other Indiana Jones movies yeah we've seen those I uh somebody brought up something the other day um that I'd never really thought of where the [ __ ] is Short Round Indiana Jones's adopted son is he his adopted son or was he just a kid that he hung out with it's a kid that he used cuz he needed him and then he just went way yeah I mean they did wrap up at the end

of that movie like they were a family they were already there together at the start they didn't meet in Temple of Doom fair I guarantee you he got to the airport went oh [ __ ] we don't have a passport for this guy and just left him and just kept on walking he wouldn't have had a passport for himself I mean he was in Shanghai at the beginning right so he's obviously he's met he either knew Short Round already or he met him while he was there and they became friends except it doesn't seem like it's is like his little partner right CU he's already got the little blocks for his shoes and all that for driving car and he knows all about him yeah and also no no no cuz he said he tells Willie Scott he say I found him in a oh yeah in a slum outside Shanghai

or something like that trying to pick his pocket that's right and and then he's he's just brought him along so at some point either he got him killed or he just abandon or he was just like no I'm I don't want to be a dad and then he was like well I'm going back to America and Short Round was like oh we're going to America and he was like no no that's I I'm going back to America going back to America you should probably find someone else to you and will [ __ ] look at her yeah [ __ ] she is awful and that's the one he married not Indiana Jones Ste Spielberg yeah not before he married someone else though go on they worked together

on Temple of Doom yes then he married someone else then later divorced her then later still married Kate Capshaw yeah right well maybe I mean she's just maybe a great actor and not that irritating in real life one would hope maybe one would hope I always forget uh James Cameron and Linda Hamilton were married mhm oh I just thought of that again I forget that too yeah yeah Luke's lost something no he's gained a cat hasn't he is that what's happening um she keeps walking around I'm so like just sit in my lap and get it over and done with that's what he's bit wrong speaking of witch Batman yeah let's talk about

Batman so I've got a couple of questions about this article yeah this is this was a few weeks ago oh a while happened still floating around because it's just so ridiculous yeah the Batman cartoon series like the adult one yeah Harley it's called it's Harley Quinn Series yeah wanted to have a reference to Batman going down on Catwoman not a reference too I think it's a scene she walks in yeah and Batman is eating Catwoman's [ __ ] now I understand that some cartoons are for adults more than kids but in what un Universe are there Batman sex scenes you tell me you don't want this Dan you want no no I want it but I just don't know why somebody is okay with this there was a comic they got they got a backlash over a comic where I

think I think it may have been reversed I think Catwoman goes down on Batman in one of the comics and people were like whoa whoa whoa the [ __ ] when did this start when did this become what Comics are it's it's come along with away from when he first started see Batman but I like this quote too in the third season of har we had a moment where Batman was going around Catwoman and DC were like you can't do that you absolutely can't do that and then you're like oh because you can't have kingers in a cartoon he's like no Heroes don't do that yeah so if it was a villain going down that's fine it was the penguin I think they've got their own agenda like I'm a good guy so sorry I can't do that I would have

thought it' be the other way around I think whoever Champion whoever said that either just was there was just talking too quickly I cannot I cannot imagine DC official position was that no Heroes don't be [ __ ] I think what he meant was no [ __ ] show DC producers will show a heroing with his tongue in superoes don't have sex on screen is what he meant to say yeah yeah yeah he's not saying all superheroes are selfishly no Batman gets his dick sucked and that's it Yeah Yeah by Robin that's why we wrote Robin into the show but they okay they went on it's like we sell consumer toys for Heroes

still a hero just not for us it's not for us hey in World War I I support Germany all right World War II not so much it be not so much not so mucho they went too they did go too far I will say they started off with some valid points reclaiming territory taken to them from them during World War I I did it just went off the rails it did go off the rails and also all the other stuff but anyway I digress this is usually Matt's territory I don't know what you're talking about mate so will we ever see this scene I don't think doesn't sound like it no yeah I just don't think it'll be something you will see you got in the comics it's always a maybe there I mean in my mind I've seen it already

what it looks like this is what it looks like I like the fact they're still in their outfits while they're doing it mostly they still got their mask on well that's why he's got the bottom half of his mask cut out yeah so he can eat [ __ ] and suck dick whoa all right he's it oh good Heroes don't do that guess I won't be watching that has anyone watched that show the Harley show I'm G to watch it now I think Hannah's watched it and she likes it I've never [ __ ] heard of it before but yeah I'm not a I'm not a big DC fan so I struggle to you have to watch on the DC streaming Network too right oh well forget it then forget it who gives I'm not a huge Harley Quinn

fan either to be completely honest yeah I was but then I like her from the games yeah I thought she was a cool character but then now she's just you know everywhere yeah I liked it when she was a sometimes supporting character in the old Batman the Animated Series exactly now although I gu there was that new Suicide Squad trailer and it looks pretty funny looks pretty good yeah so I'll watch it I'll watch it yeah I'll watch it speaking of watching movies I'm going to the movies on Wednesday to see black widow oh yeah well I won't be because we're in total lockdown here I won't be because I don't really care about it but I might watch it at some point I'm interested to see what what yeah how they do it cuz she's dead let us know it's a pre it's set

back in time so there you go there's your answer yeah I just I find that weird like it's it's set before she died yeah it's the first people we' had since the endgame isn't it no no there was a Spider-Man oh apart from Spider-Man correct Spiderman don't count Tom Holland and Zen dating now apparently yeah whatever y a Spider-Man movie Standalone movie counts about as much as an Ant-Man Standalone movie except at least in Ant-Man they introduced the quantum realm which figured in Spider-Man's just got nothing to do they they don't want to put anything in the Spider-Man movies just in case's like that's ours now yeah just enough that it sort of ties in but not starting anything yeah and not mentioning anything that could be trade

marked so when's this out I me it's supposed to be out last year wasn't it black Widow I think I thought Black Widow was always planned for this year I think it to be out earlier maybe all right but it's so it's out what when did you say Wednesday oh I get I'm going to like one of those preview screening things oh all right but I think it is out this week though are you going as a journalist no just in Cambo every now and again we'll get to go hey come we're having a preview screening of this you're the test Market yeah they're like no firecrackers allowed hardcore porn just put it away when the movie's on yeah yeah keep it classy well let us know what you think of it I will I I will and in fact you could spoil the [ __ ] out of it I don't care well it's not about spoiling for

it is who you mean we talking about John Hurt before but that was yeah yeah yeah unrelated yeah no my William Hurt news is just that I finished watching Mythic Quest oh right yes yeah and talk about that later if you want we can yes I want to there's articles that have been floating around annoy me we'll talk about that later oh okay okay so we're not discussing mythy Quest yet then no all right fine what are we talking about I forget we were talking about black and WID and uh oh I also watched some Marvel oh what did you watch I'm up to date with Loki oh oh God that is good good show so good have no idea what's happening but it's great so we can't talk about the latest episode right that that would be against the rules we can talk about television shows

are okay are they changing the rules on the Fly no no remember we came up with this a while ago television shows cuz by the time we get this episode out that episode's been out for a week already okay okay and with the television show it's a lot easier to be able to watch that cuz you don't have movies can be a little bit tricky to try and get time off if you're really interested in watching the television show before spoilers you can do that a lot easier M MH cuz you can watch it on your terms naked yeah but yeah I just this like even the latest episode I thought they were amping up that they're going to start explaining some stuff no The Twist is we're not going to tell you anything yeah cuz well I I

almost I was talking to people about it and I was going to start speculating about stuff but then I was like you know what a lot of what we've been told so far in this might not be true mhm so it's it's not I can't even speculate without going yeah well maybe that's hor [ __ ] cuz you know they've already revealed that there's some lies going on in in what we've what we've seen so I'm like well maybe this isn't at all what it seems and so speculating like it's not going to help you there's no point yeah exactly you're not going to figure this out because I I have a feeling that that that something something else is going on here maybe and we we're going to figure out what it is you know there's only six episodes so they got

toig they got unfortunately that's it we've only got two left the uh the set for that Moon that moon base Fu was beautiful beautiful yeah it was absolutely beautiful yeah amazing yeah that's all I can really say I can't explain the show cuz I I I'm confused by it but enjoying it I love that I I mean this is sort of a spoiler so maybe skip ahead a little bit if you don't want to hear about it but I love that [ __ ] scene where Wilson's like you [ __ ] fell in love with yourself you're narcissistic yeah that's right so good I do have the question and I discussed this on saile this week as well is so there's male Loki and female Loki they're sort of having a bit of a thing is it incest or masturbation I know I

know Dan would be okay with this cuz we made a short we made a short film about this where Dan Tex with himself no where one one of me tries to convince the other one that not gay if it's with yourself yeah that's right yeah me it feels like a little incesty really to it's a little incesty cuz it's the same Luke you can't tell me that when you were say 13 14 years old if you from now from the future came back in time and was like hey man it's you from the future do you want a blow [Laughter] job you would have been like yep fine and maybe it was just a homeless old man who was lying what's your name son that's a coincidence my name's also

um well I sort of SED that dick I'm not making that dick Fair yeah I've been uh I've been playing some video games uh cuz I get up very early now against my will there a I got a little lady over here in a chair right yeah no this uh she oh she knows I'm talking about it she's making little faces anyway my daughter likes to wake up uh real early and uh and then she's a morning person how early we talking uh around 5:00 a.m. she likes to wake up mhm and she'll sleep anywhere else except her [ __ ] bed so which means I have to get out of bed and be wherever she is cuz put put her wherever she sleeps so well I have she sleeps in this

chair sure which this works right so what I I fine so I put her there and I'll just sit here and I'll just play some games cuz I'm you know I'm not really awake I can't do anything that productive yet but I've uh I basically only play Assassin's Creed games now I've discovered okay yeah so you finished or not not finished but you you abandoned you were honorably discharged from so I I went back to I went back to Odyssey because well I've now done everything well I thought I had and then I kind of started another thread and I was like oh I do want to follow up on that at some point you're a fool I've left Odyssey I guess I finished the main stuff I've still got some extra stuff that I could do and I maybe will at some

point but now I'm in Valhalla mhm and it's pretty [ __ ] great I got to say highly recommend it I went and got all the collectibles in Valhalla and oh man just exploring the world yeah the the way that it's done in valhall is very good I I like Odyssey a lot but Odyssey has that thing where whenever you've got a quest anywhere you've got to go anything you got to do is kind of on the map right and you know go here do a thing bhalla isn't like that there's a bit where uh I don't want to spoil anything there's a bit where you've kind of got to do a bit of an investigation right to try and figure out what happened there's no [ __ ] map markers it's like there might be a clue in the

swamp off you go and then you just wand around and look for it like it's [ __ ] old school so I actually popped this on earlier today and uh decided to just get myself back into it because I didn't want to dick around Conan yet again because that's just wasting time um so I just played it up to I'm I'm newly in England I'm just uh got my settlement going and I concur this is a great game it is far less on Rails than Odyssey in talk terms the it won't just say your your mission Mark is why just be like talk to this person it'll be find and talk to that person yeah right and say on the map

where the person is exactly it'll say are they're in town go there was a there was one of them um one of the ones I did was I found someone that was injured and all I had to they wanted to be taken back back to their Hometown to be buried yeah so they had sort of written like directions of where it is and basically I just had to carry their body and try and work out where the village was yeah yeah it really doesn't hold you it was and nothing's too far away it's not like you've got to go across the map or anything it's localized but yeah you have to pay attention to what they say cuz well there was one it's it is in Norway at the very beginning right so I don't feel like it's too bad to spoil this there's a a Shack on an island right and if you go into the shack

there's a chest there it's locked and then there's a note that says um me and Emir I think it says live here or or the wolves are coming or something anyway there's like just this kind of vague clue that says something's going on and then you go outside and then there's a note on the shed that says that the wolves have come again they took it they took Emir he's dead um I'm going to go get him and then you just have to figure out from that that if you wander off up the trail a bit and off to the side there's a cave with the wolves are and the guy's body with the key to the chest is in the cave but it doesn't put a map marker on it and just spell it out for you you kind of you read the Bits of Paper you figure out what's going on then he's and then he's got a note on

him that says I buried IM who was my dog by the way like and you go oh it was his dog the whole time like just it's just neat yeah no I really like how they've gone with this and the reason why they did this is they said like you can't exactly have it that you come in rans sack a place and then you talk to a person and you just like it's not that type of game yeah that they actually thought about and went this way and I hope they continue to do it cuz I'm actually paying more attention to the story in games this way cuz it's not just that yeah I talk to this person I follow that checkpoint talk to them I go here I collect the loot which is here so yeah I hope they keep that Stu going forward yeah I feel like I'm using my brain more like with this like like I

said that Quest where it's like go looking go look in the swamp for something and then it's like you also got to walk around the town and talk to people but again it doesn't put [ __ ] map markers on people you just have to walk around and talk to people and then and figure out the clues and then once you have found all the clues it doesn't update your journal and say this is the answer like you still have to figure it out and then go and do the thing it's like it's good yep what I find interesting about this one too is that because of those two Persian characters and this might figure more down the track than it has already this feels more like an Assassin's Creed game than some of the previous ones like I almost want to go back and play the

original one now just for that kind of Persian feel there is uh I mean this is sort of an odyssey spoiler but I feel like the game's old enough but I think it's one of the DLCs I kicked off a quest like just the other week or the other day that ties in that stuff cuz I had wondered where that was and then there's a quest where you meet actually literally a a Persian guy the Persians come to ancient Greece and you meet a guy and he's got the wrist blade and I was like oh yeah yeah there's no [ __ ] wrist blades in this game yet yeah so I think that's how they tied Odyssey in I think I play that after this cuz I want to go play I want to check out irelands a bit more I've just started that DLC yeah I bought that I'm [ __ ] excited about that so Ireland is a DLC cuz I

know they mentioned England Ireland and France yeah and I'm in England now so France's real Islanders behind a pay wall no France I think the Battle of Paris is the second DLC oh so that's also DLC cool yeah so I think it yeah Ireland is the first one and then France is the second one cool y I don't care about Ireland I'll go straight to France no the Ireland one is it's [ __ ] Druids and and stone circles and and yeah it looks good man it looks good oh sweet all right oh I like the cursed places that's good I want them to just keep making this now like yeah I want to be a viking but then like Vikings went everywhere Vikings went to Russia yeah you know what I mean like there Vikings in Australia well the best thing you can do to get them to do more is to play the

game a lot well I am that's good I wouldn't mind playing the first one again cuz they' done the remake of two when the spin-offs for that but Theo collection yeah not the first one I'd like to see that again I wouldn't mind playing that again but not with a collectible yeah like I want I'd want it to be a complete remake not a the and everything in the first one is great it's very uh compelling but but it was also like very early on in the Xbox 360 life so it's yeah they weren't getting the most out of the Xbox stand so I want them to do a re remake so maybe even change the way the game plays with the missions and stuff like yeah it was definitely still in its infancy but man that game just blew my mind when it came

out mhm yeah it really captured something I was going to say maybe it's better that they don't re-release it and we just live with the memory of it because it's probably a [ __ ] game if you Tred to play it now yeah they can't if they were to release it they can't just do a he's the same game looking pretty it's going to be they've got to change it have the same story but change help play yeah for us to enjoy it again yeah and it wasn't as interactive as we have just discussed Valhalla being it was explore this ruins find this 100 feathers oh yeah yeah what the [ __ ] is he making out of all those feathers Al what are you making but speaking of games speaking of games two

weeks ago we reported that somebody had spent 3 years making Golden Eye Inside Far Cry yes and then last week we reported that that had been taken down yes well thankfully this week I can report it's now been put up under a different name and you can play it if you just search for golden crry and probably do that sooner rather than later because it's not going to be around for going be like you know yellow Optics or something stupid like that all right golden cry yeah that that'll fool him cuz he was upset that it got taken down there's a good chance it's going to be taken down don't cry Far Cry I didn't get that that's clever all right so I can get this now maybe wait is see Xbox I would play it before this podcast comes out they're

doing a port for oh you think they listen to this podcast and we're going to give the game away yeah yeah but yeah you you um yeah MGM are definitely going to go back and go take this down now to pronounce like we're not getting any money from this even though like do you want to make money from it cuz people if a l people are wanting it maybe you could just sell it talk with the Creator and go hey can we work out a deal Qui off him that's why a lot of these models and stuff when they're working on these big projects out you get the some that announce it and it's the worst thing they've done because then people find out that they're working on it and they get shut down before it's released yeah what he's done is he's worked on it made it after
