have I read this right 14 South Park movies yes 14 14 movies yeah I thought it was fake well I thought I misread it when I saw the headline but then it it's been on multiple sites yes they have signed a contract for 14 normally when people sign up for multiple movies they it's a Trilogy like that's that's the go-to every movie idea has to make three movies that's how it works now but 14's a weird number yeah it's not even a multiple of three so no I'm not but there's one movie already Matt so 15 is a multiple of three you know what T tou five trilogies tril welcome to multiple nerdgasm with your hosts Matt Luke and

Dan multiple nerdgasm your guide to All Things nerdy the South Park movie wasn't all that good and I'm sorry if that's a controversial viewpoint but it was just like a mediocre episode of South Park I don't know about that cuz at the time it came out I wet myself watching it at the movies fig ticket for I know I brought tickets for under 18 people we don't need to talk about Luke's dating habits back then I found the actual South Park show very funny and when I saw the film I was like okay this is an episode of South Park just with songs that don't need to be there it is it was I enjoyed it no I enjoyed it too I'm just it we need 14

more of them are they still making the television show at the same time or is this replacing the TV show they've closed an expensive new $900 million deal with vom cbs's MTV Studios the biggest element the pair will produce a whopping 14 movies based on the Comedy Central franchise so I guess not no wait in addition it also renews South Park as a series for five more seasons five more seasons wow so so is it still ma Stone doing a lot of work by Trey just rocks up is that how it's it's the other it's the other way around it's the other way around sorry I always forget which one says I do all the work but I can't do it without Matt so lucky him yeah I I I'm pretty much the Matt in this of the podcast well that's weird here that's

confusing you heard it here b f Luke is the Matt of this podcast I guess I'm the tree all right well who am I squeak I'm t t i uh freaked out when I watched some behind the scenes of uh South Park and saw them doing the voice and realized that they pit shift Cartman they I think they pit shift everyone but when Matt was doing Cartman's voice he was just doing his normal voice the Cadence of oh and then they shift it but he wasn't doing the voice like and it freaked me out because I was like when we do it we we do it in in that high pitch voice yeah there you go if only someone had figured out how to do that kind of Magic on this show we could have

had some uh some Sasquatch hunter or some sort just making it up some sort of character where we did that mhm mhm I wish I would get paid a billion dollars to do something yeah I wish I got paid 900 million for 14 Terry small shoe movies that'd be all right i' I'd be settled for a shoe string budget to do one Terry smallo movie I know I'd be like been the meaning and like like 14 you want 14 movies I mean sure uh how good do they have to be yeah yeah yeah how long do they have to be what's the exactly yeah what what what makes a movie a movie and a and ju just to clarify you still want 5 years worth of half hour episodes of this exact same content yeah I mean if they can and it's not going to be any Crossover at all I mean they've been doing it Ian guys did

we did we mention the $900 million is South Park still funny listeners right in it I mean it must be right still going listeners are not the age of the people who would now watch South Park surely but is it one of those ones that transcends I think Generations like the kids watch South Park now or is it just now it's all men in their 40s like us but we don't watch it what was the last G you watched South Park yeah I've watched it really yeah I watched the last one I watched was when they're doing the election they've given him $900 million to make movies for Luke that's fine that's I mean that's a pretty good strategy I think I can't on that I think the last one I watched was the one where they made fun of AMA Bin Laden and I only watched it because I was like oh

God I got to see this I feel like that's the last one I actually sat down and watched when it came out and that was a long time ago I still can't believe that they still make him weak to week is it week to week [ __ ] me they they finished making it the day it shown that's crazy they've missed one episode usual power out each oh wait the manate one maybe that was the most Rec you know what okay maybe I have seen some just not I've never been not not you know planed to watch it's probably been 10 years since I've seen one the reason why I don't watch as much as I used to is it's actually sort of hard to watch now cuz I don't watch free to AAR and there's no real streaming service that has it up to date in Australia oh man I've been watching something on free to wear this

week and I mean not on TV still streaming but [ __ ] it's ads and it's sbs.com and SBS used to be the free to a Channel with no ads mhm I've been watching um forged in fire which is a great show oh that that show is great what is that it sounds good it's basic it's like it's a reality show where you know where you get four people on and they compete against you so they get knocked out each round but you have to come on and Forge knives no I haven't watched that I thought I thought we were talking about the glass blowing one no this is this is swords and knives swords yeah that's called I'll blow [Laughter] you um yes Fortune fire and and it's on History Channel uh along with um secrets

of skin walker Ranch and other such [ __ ] truthful documentaries that piss me off yeah uh but it's on the History Channel app which is riddled with ads and God have we not can they not just figure out that technology cuz it just doesn't work it doesn't work i' be enjoying the show and it's like okay ads and then it's like everything's glitching it's like [ __ ] yeah it sort of pauses for like 15 seconds while it tries to load the ad and then and it plays the same ad five times and then and then it's like okay so to me if you're going to do it just have it set up that the ads are in the in whatever I'm watching so it's just there like it's not having to load something new no but they can charge more for them they targeted and and and dynamic but and up

to date as well you don't want to watch you do and now I get the option it says do you want to watch 10 minutes of [ __ ] normal ads or do you want to watch one 30C interactive ad and I learned that lesson I do not want to try that cuz it doesn't [ __ ] work that sounds ridiculous um the show I was thinking of was blown away blown away and I do recommend it it's actually just really interesting I've watched basically I've turned all Mon and mean Hannah watched entire season in a day it's just yeah right yeah I'd be interested in that but fortun fire is good I mean like they get four guys on they give them a task some of them are ridiculous they're like here's a car you have to find pull [ __ ] metal off the car and make a knife out of it and then and you get to

watch him do it with the forge and everything it's good yeah that's pretty cool South Park is streaming on its own website I guess maybe it has its own app and everything too probably I've I've got to also say guys because I don't see ads because I obviously use ad blocker in my day-to-day life and I don't watch any actual television television so I never see ads but all of these ads that I've been watching on SPS in the last week um a lot of them are for gambling apps which I find really funny that SPS has taken a whole lot of money from gambling apps right the one that I see the most the name of the app right is called lad broke oh and it's got um wallberg yeah

Marky Mark but it's called lad broke it's a gambling app targeting it men called lad broke yeah like they're not even pretending they're not just stealing money off try our new game empty wallet yeah mhm yeah but I also don't understand Marky Mark walberg's character in the ads like I don't understand like cuz he's changed his name and he's being someone else he could have just been himself in it and be the same person he's actually acting in it as some some another character oh acting's a strong word ah acting he's being loud Patrick Stewart I forget what it was even for did you have you seen that one where it just like slowly comes into him and he's got his

eyes closed and it like the camera just slowly pulls in and he opens his eyes and he goes you probably thought I was asleep acting no I haven't seen that one [ __ ] great it's probably an ad for something awful for the for the forums uh but a live update uh South Park is on HBO Max so you still you do have to pay for it h okay I'm fine to pay for it cuz I'm paying for every streaming service Under the Sun rather South Park doesn't have all the seasons I'll tell you if I'm going to watch season 3 of riverina which is what I've been watching I'm going to [ __ ] I'd rather pay SPS than watch more [ __ ] ad for lad brokes lad broke God I get ads for you know I don't even want to give these companies free

advertising it's well it's not that bad it's not not a gambling it's like a money transfer CU in America you can't just [ __ ] transfer money to somebody you have to use a third party to do it we've talked about this before but there's a company that does that that's just that's all the ads are and like I said just plays the same [ __ ] ad over and over again cuz it obviously makes you hate ads even more it just doesn't work clearly like so in addition to uh in addition to that I also watched something else this week based on some feedback from last week right I watched another episode of Psych all right which episode did you watch so I took you guys' advice and I skipped ahead one whole season and I watched season 2 episode 1 so I've now seen the pilot and

season 2 episode one which starred Tim Curry whom I love so I thought okay this is a good one to watch right yeah it was fine it it was fine but I'll still say what I said last week the pilot episode was that plot I don't see how they can make more episodes where the plot is a guy pretends he's psychic so he can be a detective they explored that completely in an hour and a half I mean it becomes about other stuff I guess right like by season two it was still about that and a little bit about the that's going to be part of it for everything but it's not every episode some somebody gets murdered and he solves it by pretending

to be psychic but then you know other stuff happens like any procedural show it's like you know Elementary I mean every episode's just him solving a murder but then you know Joan Watson adopts a baby in one episode and I think I've worked it out you don't like nice things it's got people get m in it I don't like episodics but be they're nice they're not yeah that's fair yeah yeah you are right I want really broken anti-heroes yeah I li harded I think I just um I don't think you are yeah maybe I'm not yeah maybe I watched all eight seasons of it now so you've seen the Bruce Campbell episode now too I have and I

also watched the little wrap-up episode at the end where they all got together and did like a you know like a interview show oh I hate those episodes and I do not watch them watched it just cuz it was a is that a was no God years ago 10 years ago uh no not 10 but like five six years ago a while ago enough to make two movies at least so what what is the purposes of a wrap-up episode oh it's season 8 ended and then and because the show was so popular at that point that they did like a uh is it Kevin Pereira from G4 TV hosted and it's like hey it's the psych you know celebration episode let's get all the the actors on and we ask them questions fans submit questions and we'll ask you stuff about the show and they can tell they do through a few things I know they've done it they did

the same thing for house they had like a yeah all the actors come back and talk about it basically like an hourong intervie reun about it's not an episode it's something different you know like an it's just like variety show yes exactly I I skip those episodes cuz they actually just annoy me cuz I'm not here for that like like hey hey it's Saturday except all the guests are psych stars and nobody's in blackace very few people at least yeah but I look I I loved it I've got to watch the movies now and apparently there's a musical episode that I've not seen uh because no it's because it's it's actually longer than a normal episode so I think they split it out in uh in in streaming like it's not in in the queue on Prime if you watch Prime all the way

through cuz it's think it's technically considered episode like 17 of season 6 or something it's just not in the list of episodes so we never we didn't even know it existed you have to watch it separately saw that one I mean you may have seen it but you would I think well the way that Amazon Prime here has them it's not part of the normal episode sequence it's like a separate thing and I didn't know about it there are a few streaming apps that still need to get that act together and the one big one I think now is Apple TV oh yeah that is the worst app in the world to watch on a computer I going to say it works pretty well on an Apple TV but I mean that goes without saying I S yeah but I cuz I don't have any Apple products I'm just using the website and

trying to find what you want to watch and even though I'm only watching two shows on it it's actually really diff they they've only got five and it's hard to find the one you want to watch I'll say this and I don't know why but all of them but Netflix suck I know why Netflix is the only one that really got it actually St I think has got it quite well now I guess you guys don't have all the same ones hul L fine see and Netflix is fine except the thing that pisses me off about Netflix is that because I have an Apple TV and I and I love it because I can just go to the search box at the top level of the whole thing and search and find stuff and actually I guess Prime you can do that too uh like a a what do you call it fire stick except Netflix on

the Apple TV doesn't participate because they having some Feud with Apple so you can if you search for a TV show and it doesn't show up then on Prime no if it's on Netflix you got you wouldn't know you also have to then go into the Netflix app and just double check it's not there as well I've got the Google TV one and that searches everything yeah the fire stick searches everything that's what I have too Google TV yeah I recommend that all right I do as well I like my Apple TV otherwise I like that I can just send videos from my phone to it but you can do that all of them now you can do that with Google yeah yeah all right and you guys marry Google just yeah television at my house just constantly has my dick going across the screen yeah it's thir is mine through Apple

TV got to turn that down since we had the baby I oh she doesn't know what it is yet no one knows what it is Luke I have to explain it to people every time they come around that's my dick that's dick can you believe it um I went to the movies this week did you did you I was going to ask and I actually went to the movies how you're in Australia I heard that's not possible oh in CRA austral he's in CRA good I me CRA went saw the Suicide Squad The Suicide Squad yes cuz it's not Suicide Squad 2 no it's the suicide squad does that mean we have to refer to the first one as a suicide Squad I don't know they're still talking about the air edit of it oh I know for some reason yeah he's been talking he's

talking about it no one else is he's talking about it no one else has someone asked Margo Robbie about it and she's gone well that's what people are asking for but not very committing type of way so what she meant what she meant to say was oh I don't care yeah as long as I get if I get a second paycheck do whatever you want I'm only answering you cuz I'm a nice person and I don't I want to tell you the [ __ ] off I'm actually obligated to answer your questions Luke I do want to know if if it's a good movie but first I want to know if if it ties into the first film at all I mean it's got got some the same characters yeah do they make any mention of the first film uh well yes the person who sort of coordinates everything and gets everyone sent out they back like yes

there is like Harley Quinn does know people and okay okay all right yeah it it is but it's very much a James Gun movie okay yeah that's good that's good news yep and I don't know if it's my favorite of the DC movies or not oh cuz I did like bird of prey as well well is either one of those two things it's either your favorite or it's not just realized I haven't seen that all right neither of I enjoyed it it's it's you're the only bird of pra was very much 's Deadpool right like with the whole she's narrating that's happening so I guess I have seen it yeah I enjoyed it very James gun yeah right funny all right I got a little tear at the very end oh of course you're always doing a James G you laugh and then you

right at the end of this she's like by the way what do you think about that and then James G was was like all right and I can do whatever I want yeah they were like sure yeah sure sure and he's like right mhm hey Margo you ready to get your dick out you so you so you recommend we watch it I do better than the first one surprising yes it's better than the academy Ward winning sour what about the makeup effects were they as good will this win more Academy Awards um actually I think the makeup was probably better on the first one funny it must be it must be odd to be James gun and to do arguably a much better version of the same film and he will arguably not win and Academy Award

my mother and a man I'd never seen before in bed I lay down at the foot of their bed and wept I wept the sound of my crying woke my dad who then got out of bed and tried to comfort me and I didn't know this is just a strange who just screaming um and it was a long time after that that I found out that that was my dad with no beard and that beards that's what you need to do to your daughter um I'm I'll probably never shave my beard off fully I I won't and that's just because I am lazy mine's because I don't have a chin so and I the opp I don't wanted to know when I've got when I I I can't just let mine grow like yours and it just grows into a lush beautiful bushman's beard I've got to

really work at it to make sure it's all [ __ ] even that's the problem with my beard because it does grow so big and so thick I go through I go through razors very quickly and so it's just easier not to shave because I'd have to replace razors quite frequently otherwise for me it's just easier on a number and just shave down to that number every day cuz otherwise I'm always like [ __ ] I okay up to this side and down here up the top you're still putting lovely oils and such in your beard L I am I've got a but popcorn at the moment but popcorn I mean no no no like I mean like beer oil yeah yeah just buttered popcorn no he doesn't told you I saw the suicide squ the other day Andy [Laughter]

themselves they're not making for people yeah well he said don't get me wrong Martin sces is great I love him but I think he was just trying to get eyeballs on his movie to be honest and I was like you know what he's got I mean I'll be honest I watched the Irishman all 3 hours of it not because I thought it looked good because let me be clear it didn't look good I I watched it because it was a Martin scorey movie and I don't want there to be any Martin scorey movies I haven't seen now that I've watched it I can forget it even existed because it's not very good well yeah he he doubled down on that a bit too in another interview cuz someone was like did you mean that and he yes I did mean that I think he was just trying to get suppressed so my

favorite Mar movie is Joker and he didn't make that but the guy who made it copied all of his all the good bits of all of his good movies and that's my favorite smush two of them together and made one you don't have to watch the other two anymore cut movie out just watch one yeah yeah [ __ ] taxi driver and king of comedy just watch Joker yeah tick well James gum was also in another interview which this is such a clickbait title for this article yeah I actually I love this James G react to Scarlet Johansson's Disney battle and he's gone I met her once um she's great um sure she's got her reasons yeah yeah the headline on they got a whole article out of that yeah the first time I saw this

the headline was I trust Scarlet yeah oh you have to I mean this article you've got to scroll it's not like they' they've really milked this paragraph This is this is the quote this is an actual quote when they asked him about it right this is a whole article written about this they asked him what did he think about Scarlet Johansson suing Disney over the Black Widow release James gun says I haven't really been fully up on it I've only met Scarlet in passing I think she's a great person and I really think she's uh you know I trust Scarlet scathing yeah weighs in with his opinion yeah I think what he meant to say was oh I don't know anything about that I met her once she was all right mindel I love

this sentence before the ellipses before he says I trust scarlet and you've you've kind of glossed over this but I think the sense grouping would have been this I think she's a great person and I really think she's uh you know and then the guy was like what and then he was like look I trust Scarlet right maybe she's the dick and appears maybe she appeared in The Suicide Squad if Scarlet Johansson had a dick do you think she'd be circumcised or uncircumcised she'd have the chop you think Johansson's a Jewish name no all right just based on age I think Scarlet would want the forkin

any platform that they deem appropriate I mean this they're making this sell sound very dramatic but like yeah that's that's that's what their lawyer said like yeah it's just it's I mean they make like they're making it seem very personal but an actual fact scar Johansson's lawyers have said she should have got paid more money because of the contract and then now Disney lies have said oh you I think you've misread the contract or misunderstood and it's a war Feud yeah cuz they're not um they're not countersuing they're actually just trying to get them to drop the case I what's that called the trying to get it blah blah blah blah blah dismissed dismissed thank you yes yeah yeah so cool I don't think there's much that they could really c as sue

for no they'd have to sort of make something up no I think the the the I mean this I guess would set a precedent right because Disney's saying no you know they're saying no that means we can do whatever we want and you get the money based on how many how much money comes in right I guess that's what they're trying to say and and yeah and there's still people are still paying to see Black Widow and yeah yeah but over the next I guess we don't know really how long 12 months at least right movies are going to this this kind of stuff's going to happen with movies right where they're going to release them in streaming and they're going it's going to it's all going to be a bit confused going to be the way that they're going to go forward now yeah so this will set

so contracts right up to about a year ago would have been confusing on this basis right so SC is saying my contract talks about Cinemas cuz that's how movies came out now they don't right so there's going to be some crossover period where she's going to set a precedent for other actors and actresses it'll from now on it'll either mean one thing or another yeah right and it's like it's like the rers strike when when Riders got pissed off 2007 because they started coming out on DVD and they weren't getting any money and they said it says repeats right here in my contract they're like it's not a repeat it's a DVD so I think if she wins people will get more money out of it actors MH if she loses Studios won't have to pay him as much I think that's the bottom

line well if she wins studios are going to be very careful about how they word things in contracts yes going going forward yeah I think actually what would happen is it wouldn't they'd be actors would probably be moving away from the p me like what the movie brings in they go more to that more bigger lump sum at the start yeah well box office won't be as bigger factor I guess in in in Pay it's going to have to be something like well the other thing oh which they've got sort of no control over I know something that happens with like the video games they get bonuses and stuff based on Metacritic reviews yes yeah if you get above this but they they don't an actor doesn't really have D like direct control over that like they can

it'sit it's to many contri factors when you do that it people too much like like fans can you know review bomit or whatever I know it's supposed to be sort of control but like it's just it's dangerous well you also get the people like the developers they go in and they make Bots to go in and up vote and also let's not let mob rule dictate any policy please yeah how much someone gets paid yeah yeah yeah I think this reminds me of um you know the the way things changed and and I think kind of sort of settled into it now but you know when Spotify and all that came out with music and then a lot of bands were like well I used to get $10 when people bought the album and now I only get 5 cents when they listen to it and then but they're not factoring in it's a completely

Disneyland right m and you can just drop me and the kids off you're going to wear your trench coat again we'll have a wonderful day yeah I don't know about this look but yeah so they've come out and they've cuz I was the Star Wars Hotel was meant to open a lot earlier but I think it got postponed due to co but now they've come out with the prices for it and it's not cheap no no so let's go through it's basically it's it's like a three-day long experience where you stay in the hotel that is shaped like a millennian falcon and then you is it or or or something I'm being factious but it's it's it's it's Star Wars themed right yeah yeah it's the whole idea is you're staying in a galactic

Cruiser it's specific okay don't ruin don't ruin the Illusion for luk when you look out the window it's not like you're looking out the window and you're seeing the park or anything you'll look out the window and you will see Star Wars stuff like space or hyperspace or something you see J Binks and uh young you'll see JJ Abrams this is out there floating around going hello to to really get the most out of it you need to stay there for 3 days two nights so you can experience cuz he's already insisting we're going to have just going to have to stay there forever cuz it's not like uh like it's just a theme like you walk through and it's Star Wars no there's evidently like actors in there as well and it's an experience just to stay there so we will

we will all be staying there for 3 to 4 days yes okay so um it's four to a room yeah mhm it's $6,000 that's for three adults and a child yeah three adults and a child oh it is MHM that's very either Progressive or yeah strange uh yeah no you're right fine that reminds me I was in a a taxi cab in Singapore once and it had this chart on the wall of who the amount of people that could fit in the cab right based on stick figures big and little big for adults little for child so the cab could fit three adults right or two adults and two children right or one adult and

three children or four children and I want to know how many instan is are cabs getting hailed by four children with no adults well enough that they had to put a sign yeah you're right so I'm trying to figure out how much this is going to cost like the six of us plus two kids right well so three guests two adults one so so yeah that would be you and I that plus one of either Luke or Hannah in one of our rooms right yeah either that or I mean they can get their own maybe oh right so I see you're saying I see what you're saying we just get one child yeah yeah and one of us that that be cheaper yeah that you can do the whole thing where you just stay per night but they are it's like $700

cheaper if I'm going to do this I'm going to do it properly otherwise what's what's the point with Hannah in your room yeah so I'm going to be in your room am my d yeah obviously okay or we could have boys and girls oh no cuz all the kids are girls yeah that's fine all right they're small they can fit in one bed no no no it's one child and three adults per room it's very [Laughter] clear and if we try and mix that up they will kick us out yeah that's right um to cost 12,000,000 12,000 from from 12 ,000 [ __ ] me and that doesn't include I assume any food or drinks and I'm assuming we're going to want to drink depend it might because you get the allinclusive thing

with Disney so maybe when I stayed at when I stayed at the actual like Disney Land hotels it included breakfast included entry to the park and that's probably why they're being specific about the three ads one child because the roomate doesn't mean anything but when they're giving you tickets to go into the Park yeah okay okay that's true when they ask for you when they came said what do you want for breakfast did you tell them I usually just have a couple of glasses of gin did that work yeah that's right it for my for my two wives and my one child um what I am particularly interested in and Luke don't even pretend you're not interested in this as well um it's some of the merch that's only available oh yeah I'm planning to

buy all the merch I'm building my Droid I'm building My lightsaber well see you say that Luke but I I went to to Galaxy's Edge last year before it was closed and um I saw the build a lightsaber and it was okay it was the kind of plastic lightsaber you can buy from T that are probably already own yeah but that's fine it's $200 it's fine yeah uh or or Luke you can get the [ __ ] crazy realistic uh lightsaber that they've just announced and have you seen this [ __ ] video I'm just about to the button so this video is only 13 seconds long but it uh shows off pretty nicely all right how did that just happen yeah so that's available to buy there mhm all

just rolled off the tongue there so easily yeah and that's before he's even like taken a breath to really think about how he's going to control this situation yeah so I think honestly I don't know when to go now because cuz all borders are I'm thinking about I'm thinking about no but I'm also thinking about your children mhm yeah please don't I don't well even if we were to say aim for 2023 I think they're still too young for Disneyland yeah yeah it's [ __ ] expensive yeah and seems very expensive to take someone where they're not going to remember all be a to go on when you're there you see people with very young kids and you're like what yeah well it's like there's a lot of trips that's like now we're like well we

should I mean we would we would like to go to Norway right see the Northern Lights do a viking crew see the Northern Lights it's like well we should probably wait till she'll remember that right yeah you know I don't think you have to wait too long I did a lot of European countries when I was three with my parents and I retain a lot of memories for it yeah right but they might be like me and have like the worst memory like I don't remember anything before worst memory or wor memories Luke yeah worst memories yep my memories are terrible like the time that strange man came around and told you was he was your father yeah or you from the future and that he needed you to suck him off immediately the fate of the planet Earth
