no I answer the door in my Underpants today uh because we've got a doorbell that's just the button connected to nothing and so uh I keep forting to take it down so that people stop ringing it and standing there oh you know we have that too I don't know they're there but Charlie tells me when someone's there except that I was in the living room I was working my computer at my dining room table in my underwear and then Charlie when you say working no no no I was working on your laptop yeah yeah well I don't with no pants on I don't require pants when I work from home Luke yeah yeah I'm just just inquiring to make sure what type of work you would do no um but I I went to the door and opened it to show Charlie that um there was nothing there but there was there was

someone there there was did you feel silly yeah I did and I said oh sorry about the barking and uh the fact that I'm wearing no pants cuz you just pulled the door open and you were like look there's nothing there and guy was like oh it's not it's not that small mate yeah he's like no I can see it that's a that's a decent size for a boy your age I'm not a boy I'm a man fully grown man he said you let me be the judge of that mate fully grown in quotes so I don't have that issue because I have no a massive [ __ ] [ __ ] no I mean I don't have that issue with the doorbell cuz I actually have a video doorbell oh yeah right does it work he got a camera pointed he's got a camera pointed his dick people can just Girl Scout cookies you say

I do recommend getting a video doorbell I thought about it but I don't know not enough people come to my house not worth it oh we'll come over we'll come over L Matt is desperate for company what I mean is cuz they just leave packages on the doorstep here yeah but this the camera also keep track of your packages let you know someone did drop something off uh okay that's fair I also want to be the type of person do you know how when there's those murders and they go we've got evidence and it's like the car driving down the street yeah I want to be able to go I provided that evidence you want to be that guy I was driving that car he doesn't usually back up his truck and he was acting awfully Shifty just now yeah that I want to be that guy all right but you're wearing a onesie

only countries that's still going just going up yep yep like by a lot not uh CU I know in Australia I think we had what 20 cases pop up in South Australia [ __ ] and they locked that place down I heard actually there was a guy uh this is the story I heard about that was it because there was an outbreak at like a pizza restaurant and uh and they were doing like contact tracing and there was a someone who had it who said no I just I just bought a pizza from there yep and they were like freaking out cuz they're like oh my God it's food transmitted or whatever and then it and it turned out no actually he worked there illegally yeah but they shut down the they shut down the whole [ __ ] state state because this guy lied and said that he oh no I got it from a pizza yep cuz they

didn't know we how we got it where it was coming from but if that he had have just been honest at the start they not honest just come up with a better lie he could have just said yeah yeah I was there the whole night and I [ __ ] macked on with a bunch of people I went to go pick up my pizza and I kissed Johnny mwah mwah and I got to the co I got a CO on both cheeks because that's how we do it yeah but it's sort of weird it's eight he can't get charged with anything because it's not an offense to lie on the contact tracing he can be charged for a pizza working illegally surely oh well yeah if he was then yes but yeah he can't be charged for misleading I mean he's been deported but uh other than that can't do anything can't do anything but I think that it

seems a bit crazy that there is nothing for just lying when because of that little lie it shut down the entire State prob cost people work and that's insane certainly cost him work do we know where he was from so that we can you know specific with our access I'm assume I just assumed he was an Italian stereotype but I didn't even I don't even think he was illegal oh well then why is it's far less interesting oh just because he wasn't paying tax all right fine he was just working under the table if you know what I mean wink wink which a lot of those delivery places well they used to in the past [Laughter] you slip your driver some cash and away they go yeah what yeah Dan I've LED Dan astray I'm ordering from the wrong pizza

my heart but they are seriously doubling down on this Stormtroopers can't hit anything with a blaster Mo aren't they yes yeah I did I rolled my eyes I mean look the show's [ __ ] great and I it's fine but yeah they are that was just a really really going for it now yeah yeah like I think it was fin as a bit of a a joke in the first one but you don't have to keep reminding us yes but also that was that they're not bad that's the whole point in in Star Wars the the original movie Star Wars they're not the whole point is that they let very precise Shooters yes so yeah whatever only Imperial Stormtroopers could be this accurate maybe he was being sarcastic yeah yeah wink so so you are all caught up yeah all

caught up [ __ ] loving it it's great isn't it isin it great and I still just love I still just love how like it's you don't have to watch all of them and follow this big Story Each episode is its own thing yeah I I completely agree but at the same time it's almost become a little too formulaic because like you like in the in episode four that just aired he's getting his ship repaired and they're like okay yeah we'll repair your ship But first you need to do something for us and it's like of course cuz we need an adventure this week that's what happened last week as well yeah right oh yeah yeah it is um it's like oh he can't get to where he needs to guess so he needs to stop back at the planet he was just at not that long ago

I was like okay I mean it's fine it's what but I was a bit like all right okay we need to see some characters we we already know yeah uh that uh that woman that solid looking woman yeah Gina that Gina that he hangs around with uh is getting some serious hate on Reddit right now yes y yeah and on Twitter as well internet doesn't like her I'm not entirely sure why but there actually people are suggesting ways to write her out of the series now which I thought is I mean that's better than death threats I suppose I think she's uh she's I'm not 100% sure on this my understanding is that she's been tweeting some Trump stuff and I think that's where it comes from really yes and in the past she's also tweeted

some again I haven't looked that deep into it but some stuff that could be interpreted as anti-trans so I think that's where she's copying all the hate from not even necessarily I mean look I could Hest maybe it was worse than I saw but I don't think it was even anti-trans it was just kind of not particularly Pro trans are you sure she wasn't just trying to tell everyone subtly that she was actually born a man I have no idea yeah yeah but um interesting interesting yeah people are mad at her they certainly are they certainly are but I mean does it is her character uh a problem I don't know is this that old argument about whether does it really [ __ ] matter what her politics are well I mean politics

certainly not surely like I mean if she was a child molester I'd say yeah get her out of there but you could vote for whoever the [ __ ] you want that's democracy what what she's doing isn't illegal by supporting a party just because you don't like it doesn't mean they shouldn't have a job yeah and if she's I mean she's sharing you know what's you know that you've probably seen listeners there's some stuff about the election going around I mean a lot of people are sharing that and if she's supporting the Republican party I mean that's that's what they put this way if uh if all Roman palansky had done would support the Republican Party he'd be allowed back in America yeah that's true yeah so if I mean I'm surprised he's not if this actress drugs and sodomize as a

child in a pool then maybe we'll ride her out then yeah yeah I don't know I just people are are entitled to have an opinion just yeah just because they don't agree and I'm not cond saying what she says is great or anything right because also the other thing is you know Pedro Pascal and and I mean a lot of of actors and directors and people involved in the Mand and other stuff they're very vocal but they're liberal so people liberal people don't get mad at them for yeahh for talking about it so I don't know just it seems a little yeah just yeah I I find it funny you see a lot of times when people like a celebr will post something on Instagram and everyone you stop trying to force your political opinion down you're just a person but the people saying that are also just

people as well so yes it's just they have a platform so people think they shouldn't be allowed to talk about because they're influencing people they're influencers yeah well that's like when John Boer you know started using the hashtag black lives matter and everyone was like [ __ ] quit the politics you're in Star Wars and he's like [ __ ] you I hate Star Wars don't give a [ __ ] about Star Wars yeah yeah yeah he won't be coming back which reminds me I need to watch the Lego Christmas Holiday Special yeah that's out that's out I saw it uh on Disney plus I'm probably not going to watch it I'll be honest unless you tell me it's really good I think it's I'm hoping it'll be good in the way that the Christmas special is good which is

terrible the Christmas special has Nostalgia and nostalgic charm about it this does not I saw we don't know we haven't seen it yet I saw a clip I think there was I think it was recent of Harrison Ford on um maybe it was Conan O'Brien and they showed a clip from the holiday special and they cut back and then [ __ ] Harrison's hilarious come back and he was like cool well thanks for that anyway moving on yeah like come on guys Let It Go was a 40 plus years ago mhm # contractual obligation no more than 40 years more than 40 years yeah 42 years [ __ ] hell I've been watching um the behind

the scenes stuff fando on dis is it interesting it's very interesting yeah yeah yeah very cool uh it's it is it's it's quite nice to see how much you know everybody who's involved you know they got like like five or six different directors in season it's mostly about season one um episode four was directed by KL weathers yes oh yeah that's that's true yeah well so they have all the directors from season one around the table and they're just all such big Star Wars fans it's just really nice especially Dave filon who did he did the Clone Wars but he um [ __ ] he's like an encyclopedia and he he talks about the prequels in a way that you go wow maybe maybe I was wrong because he starts talking about how interesting how like just all the themes of the prequels and

how like Qui-Gon represents the father that Anakin never had and then you know in the end Anakin has to redeem himself and become the father and save his son and all this kind of stuff he talks if that was all true that would be wonderful but I just I'm such a cnic m if they wanton to REM make the prequels I will ship in for that I will buy my ticket now even if even if that is all true it doesn't still doesn't make it a good movie that's exactly I was like oh wow he makes it sound great but I've seen them I just find it odd now that we've spent 20 years hating on the prequels Disney have made three sequels now which are arguably better and yet they're getting far more hate now than the prequels ever did look all that is and the only reason for

that is because the internet is more of a thing now yeah but I find it interesting because the the the sequels aren't very good in some ways they're perfectly fine in other ways and overall fine yeah well and the prequels are [ __ ] garbage they're irredeemable garbage and yet I was I mean the the the thing about the prequels is that they are certainly original in in a lot of ways and there's an article in here under Star Wars news where Fox told George Lucas at the time when he was like this is this is the Phantom Manis and they were like you are a [ __ ] Maniac no one is going to like this you

are going to ruin Star Wars and he said I don't give a [ __ ] this is the movie I want to make and I got you got to respect that yeah yeah and they were both right he did ruin Star Wars it was a movie no one wanted uh and it's still it still made a billion dollars yeah yeah and he still doesn't give a [ __ ] because I that's the one that the thing I respect the most about George Lucas is he just [ __ ] did what he wanted [ __ ] what I love about Lucas now in 2020 is that he is just watching all this hatred rolling in for the [ __ ] sequel Trilogy and he's just going yeah well I uh I wasn't going to do it like that you know I actually wrote n years ago that would be great you'd love him but his his opinion is well doesn't matter what you do they're going to hate it so

[ __ ] stop worrying about it which is true to some degree unless you're talking about the Mandalorian yeah which I don't know anyone who doesn't like this yeah that's true I mean people are mad about people oh by the way I meant to say before listeners if Gina has said something particularly uh horrible let us know and we can uh yeah yeah if she has child in Jack pool so yeah do let us know just seemed like a lot of fuss over nothing at the at at the time of this recording yeah it is nice to see in the in the behind the scenes George is on set a lot uh on Mandalorian so you've got like favro and Tao yti sat there with George you know directing it's quite nice the the the one thing I find weird out of all the things I think the

prequels have aged the worse and that's even compared to the original movies yeah cuz the original movies they they they've been touched up to made look better but they still look better than what the prequels do and there's no way you can really fix the prequels to make it look better Phantom manace looks quite quite bad not all of it though because actually the thing people forget is that phantom man is actually not all CG it's it's models mostly they showed the comparison between you know they shoot Mando on that that screen set now and then um back you know like attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith was mostly on blue and green screen but Phantom Menace was mostly on sets and Miniatures so it's surprising that it

looks bad it looks very TV I think yeah when you watch it in like 4K or you try and watch it in 4k I think that's the problem with the first one and then the other ones are just all bad CG so mandal nut W putting someone in a mask there's your character well speaking of someone in a mask that's actually what Gina Carano is in trouble for she's made two tweets criticizing maske wearing this one which I find quite amusing breaking news democratic government leaders now recommend we all wear blindfolds along with Mar so we can't see what's really going on okay right then then the less eloquent in a world where everyone wears a mask it's a privilege to see a soul oh but apparently and I've got to turn

yeah and I think I found I could find it oh okay CU I couldn't find it if this is not it and you know of something else that I'm missing please write in because right now I don't necessarily think that this warrants the backlash that she's gotten um she has said because somebody has actually tweeted at her the Joe Talks show has tweeted at her and said not being koi but why is the woke World mad at you I'm looking through your tweets and I can't find anything mhm fill a brother in and she's written back they are mad at me because I won't put pronouns in my bio to show my support for Trans lives and I have noticed recently that people who are not trans necessarily are putting you know she her Etc in their bio which I actually didn't realize that's what a shell of support

that's a thing I did notice recently people have been pressing pushing pushing celebrities and and figures to it and I was like what is that about so yeah that is a thing apparently but this is one of those things where I feel like if you're on Twitter and you're on Facebook you might be in a bubble where you think maybe this is more widely known than than it actually is I don't think most people know this is a thing cuz I said I most most of the articles I can see it's more so to do with the The Mask stuff and the fact that she's Pro Republican yeah okay which is fine if you want to be mad at her because you have different political views but don't call her a transf because she isn't actively protesting against trans and then and then also just because doesn't

agree with you it's not a reason for them to be fired right mhm yeah yeah no I think this is all all bit silly agree with her happy to be proven wrong let us know say like we don't agree with her no no but you don't have to agree with everybody a silly in fact the world would be shitty if you did if you did agree with everybody yeah there'd be no drama we don't always agree want people to if people want to if you want people to listen to your opinion you also need to listen to theirs yeah let's all go back to being mad at baby Yoda no I can't be mad at him even though I remember him murdering children I still love him so much even in that last episode oh no no we can't talk about the last episode yet can't talk about till next week but oh if you

haven't seen it yet watch it now you'll know the part I'm talking about actually there's a couple in that last episode I there's some good baby out action in this last one yeah looking forward to this Friday watching it again but we're also with season cuz what there's 10 episodes or something yeah it's not enough he was it 10 or was it eight last time just double checking I think it was only eight episodes last season so we have season one was season one was Eight Episodes it's just not enough is it season 2 was Eight Episodes as well of a we're halfway through [ __ ] I wish you hadn't told me that and this is why I'm liking that it's weekly because I'm enjoying it for

longer yeah that's true that's uh yeah that's another controversial argument at the moment is whether wly is better I I do yeah I mean I'm waiting for Fargo to all be out before I watch season 4 I started um the first episode of season 3 oh yeah tell me what you think I really liked season three firstep very good I I enjoyed it immensely uh very excited for season four but going to wait till it all comes out but I find it interesting that Mandalorian is week to week as you say Luke it does space it out but also just the fact that we're talking about how it's like individ serial Iz episode narratives just make it so old school like Columbo or Quantum Leap or

something like do you remember when like writers of TV shows had to write whole new characters for every episode you know they had to cast whole new actors they had to find whole new locations every episode well that's why I'm looking forward to the new Star Trek oh yeah serious cuz they're going back to that again as well in even with thought's a new format and it's going to be piked they're still going back to that every week it's a new adventure that ends up in hings MH Ma I did find episode four of Mandalorian reminded me a little bit of like Star Trek or Farscape or it was that kind of tone for me um can I I this not really a spoiler for

episode 4 but I just wanted to say that I'm really happy to see Imperial ships again cuz I love them and I was thinking well probably not going to be a lot of those yeah and I'm seeing them in ways that's new and refreshing yes cuz the Imperial ship Interiors are my [ __ ] aesthetic yeah Matt you should have come to Singapore while qu was working at Disney because the interior of the sand crawler building [ __ ] off looks like that [ __ ] off all right it does I got my photo taken there yeah yeah just the the way the Imperial ships look is just [ __ ] the elevators are hexagonal yeah right maybe I can still go there I'll just have to wear disguise Singapore a never going to let Americans go there I

I do have to you me say Singapore never going to let you in I don't think so I've made sure that I I have to ask why do you need to wear a disguise they don't know who you are now no I no but I'll have to dress as like a jawwa or something okay or an employee I to actually Matt someone two two whole floors of of the sand crawler are just for Lucas film right and the every employ employee there is a white expatriate with a beard and a T-shirt and a hoodie so you saying that I'm already wearing a disguise I'm saying that you would slip in unnoticed on any day of the week yeah yeah you you yeah you'd be better off not

wearing dressed as a giant 6ot Jer yeah they'd assume you were a druid of some kind yeah um wave at the security guard and he'd be uh he'd say right up to level five sir hello there oh very good uh we've got some followup on the Apple versus epic story I love this followup so it's like just a giant middle finger back well there's two things okay so the first of all this this last week Apple announced that they are reducing their cut for small business so if you how small is a small business under a million dollar a year oh okay right so if you earn under a million a year you only have to pay Apple 15%

instead of 30% which is quite a big reduction and will make a huge difference to a lot of small businesses that's like a pretty big uh bonus for them MH uh so that's very good uh Tim Sweeney from epic has obviously claimed some responsibility for that and uh this week he likened their fight with apple to the Civil Rights Movement which I feel is really interesting comparison to make no what are you new say that so yeah the that has not gone down well uh no and he's responded and said uh please read and tell me if uh if I'm actually wrong uh all right Tim oh sure I mean yeah let this official platform be the um be the reply that you this is a case this is a case where you may have there

may be like Merit to what you were saying like like on on a certain don't pick that on a certain level you might be able to go no this is what I meant this element of it this element and that but but you're not going to win Tim doesn't matter that's not a comparison you should be making no not now not now of all times this is like when um recently when Jeff Canada said that um The Last of Us Part Two was to video games what Schindler's List is to film and everyone got mad at him for comparing the last of his part two to the Holocaust Citizen Kane he said that's no no no no because what he meant was it's uncomfortable he meant that that that that it's it's good and it's and it's and but but it's uncomfortable that's what he meant and that's what he

was going for it's like yeah okay Jeff that's fine but think about it for 10 more seconds and come up with another film that's not what people think you mean at first if they have to do the work then it's a bad comparison and I think that's the same thing here you're making people think too much unless the last of us is in black and white but one character is wearing a red dress then you're wrong yeah yeah also I don't think Shin this was supposed to be fun on any level whereas The Last of Us Part Two are supposed to be a little bit fun right it's a video game I mean Shindler list is from a go on say that it's fun from a cinemacraft point of view beautiful it's beautifully made like the music the cinematography everything the

lighting you know but yeah but I mean and in his defense he he wasn't he wasn't saying it's the same as the Holocaust I mean obviously that's not what he meant but he saying show you confronting imagery so that you take a it makes you uncomfortable uh as part of its its method I guess it's showing you uncomfortable things but anyway Apple reduced their fee for small businesses epic is not a small business no so they will continue to pay 30% in your face and they will continue to be able to afford it yes and I'm sure they'll claim that well they weren't doing it for themselves they were doing it for the little guy yeah that's what they that's the that's the Nar present and even though the little guy is just won uh

they're still going to keep going yes and I mean I mean the only person they've screwed over here is themselves to be honest epic yeah so but they're taking a risk so they can just have free money I'd laugh if out of all of this though that at the end it also comes out that loot boxes aren't allowed anymore cuz that's the thing that they're actually trying for they want the money loot boxes yeah exactly they want that sweet 30% of the loot box money yeah [ __ ] loot boxes get the end they go oh yeah loot boxes are now illegal speaking of loot boxes um I've been playing a game that doesn't have any uh and it's quite refreshing cuz I was you know there was a fear that it would have them at some point I've been playing squadrons which is a game by EA that doesn't have any loot boxes in it yeah

look Matt I mean you're not usually a fan of this type of game so I'm very interested to hear about your experience there is a I mean it's Star Wars so that kind of gets me across the line on trying it out again so I did try it before and I had issues with my Xbox as you may recall this new yeah um the audio was screwy and confirmed that I mean that was my Xbox it was not the game so I've repurchased it I got a refund originally cuz I couldn't play it on my series X runs beautifully oh I have two series de now just of course you do I I I only have one at the moment here to my left and there's one in the living room now um so but yeah it's great it's uh it's a little arcadey which is good for me um because I don't

want to have to worry about learning too many commands the controls takes I'm getting used to I'm not very good at it I'll be honest um because I haven't played a lot of games like this and the the left I do recommend playing with a joystick oh okay see I was going to ask Luke if you were playing with the controller or whether you had something specific no I went and got a joystick for it so I've got the throttle and the stick see that's not a bad idea cuz on the controller the left thumb stick controls the throttle and the right thumb stick steers but then the left thumb stick left and right also does rolls so I don't know it just takes some getting used to I get confused sometimes because yeah as soon as it came out I went and got a joystick for it because I

knew I wanted to experience it that way and that's how I played the old ones as well what did you pay for your joystick Luke did did you get a good one or did you just get something that was going to see you through I got the Xbox one right so you get one that's specifically for Xbox and I think was about 100 JB that's not too bad yeah it's uh it's good though it's was it 100 it's certainly fun flying around in Tie fighters and x-wings and I love the fact that it's all like in the cockpit and they haven't gone like a Rogue Squadron or anything where it's third person it's you're in the cockpit fly around and I actually even played it without having like the instruments there like the HUD so you can just see what's in the cockpit for when you where your Shields are and everything like

that yeah right maybe I'll do that at some point I needed to know what everything was at first so I didn't do that yeah I like it it is pretty [ __ ] rad to be you know coming up on a Star Destroyer with the music blaring and yeah trying to take out the gun turr so good that they didn't put in yeah it's just a game that you play it's just a game and there's no [ __ ] annoying [ __ ] popping up like you don't even have to you can just keep going like you just continue through the the game through the story there's none of that that's just it's just all story all game it's great like that's what I want and also the price point for this game was great cuz it wasn't even like a $100 game or 60 in the states um it was $60 in Australia well right now they got a

Black Friday sale I got it for $20 so God damn it but yeah look if you can get it for that price that's great and I hope it does well enough that we'll get more yeah well they got dcar as [ __ ] there is DLC they said it wasn't going to be but there is DLC for it now yeah there is great I know that they're releasing some ship skins and a new maper maybe that's all it is but yeah if that's it I'm not that interested I Want More Story content 35 bucks right now yeah I'd say it's worth it it's you know you get to fly a [ __ ] TIE fighter in an xwing what's not check I lied about the joystick being 100 it was 170 Okay but well worth it thrust Master is that what you got that's the dick troller believe purchase history it [Applause]

little sadden to read this week that Alan Dean Foster uh prolific author of Star Wars novels amongst many other sci-fi novels original and franchised who is right now at home dying of cancer is not being paid royalties for his books by Disney who are arguing no we we don't have to pay your royalties for the stuff you did before we took over which I think is the worst part I could have understood if like they brought it and they didn't know that was a thing that P got overlooked there but they're actually coming out and saying no we brought the product we're not paying we didn't buy that part of the company where we have to pay for it anymore yeah which I don't just seemed a bit wrong me this reminds

me of remember we talked about um Gravity the movie Gravity and how there was an author that they'd kind of bought the rights off they had written a book that was very similar but then that company had been absorbed by whoever the production company was and they're like well no no we're not responsible for that and then it was like well [ __ ] off that's not fair yeah they were like when wech colia triar they had already written this script that's what we purchased not yes your original property yeah yeah it's [ __ ] Disney though are notorious for redefining copyright law though oh sure that's the reason we still have copyright to this day on things that it should have expired on like Mickey Mouse

mhm yeah literally every time it it's up for expiration they pay a [ __ ] ton of money and then get the lawyers and it all gets extended so which I can sort of understand with getting that extent I really can because it's not like something that would they did a billion years ago but they're still not using that like they' stopped using they're still actively no because it depends it depends right because the whole point of it it copyright was not to protect it forever anyway in the beginning the point of copyright was so that if you created something for a few years you were the only one who could make money off it and then everybody could have a go and that's that's literally what was supposed to be but they the they're

trying to make it so that no that's ours and you can never ever use and I would also argue Luke that you're potentially right if Walt Disney was still alive and creating Mickey Mouse yeah I mean I'm still alive and I'm doing it but he is long dead he is a he a dead na I like they're fighting they fight it when it's when that they might be losing money like copyright for it and they might be losing but in this case where they have to pay money no shouldn't have to do that right yeah exactly picking what they want that's just good business yeah you can pay us but we don't have to pay you mhm that sounds perfect and cuz like if they weren't but I think the issue is is because they're

which is big deal if anyone goes to see this at the cinema we that's I am this is a big deal I think uh it's still I mean America is still in mid pandemic so it's not going to be entirely indicative because people are just not going to the movies um no the Smart Ones aren't going to the movies well I mean you can't go see that much anyway so I suppose it's not really fair to say people aren't going because what the [ __ ] would you go see apart from stuff you've already seen But Star Wars and Indiana Jones exctly Hocus Pocus guys that's what highest film in the world right now that's not October anymore so but look it's interesting Matt because if they did James Bond like this I'd have to seriously consider whether I

wanted to kind of waste the experience by watching it at home yeah I know Wonder Woman I've got no plans to watch this at home or in a cinema because I didn't whatsoever but you know I've certainly got a higher chance of watching it at home so I I think this will be interesting but I still don't think because I I wanted to see tenant and I still didn't go and I'm sure there are other people out there like me who are just I'm not going out there I don't know anyone who wanted to see it as much as you did yeah so I don't know I just I feel like this is a big deal but I mean it's it's a foregone conclusion it's going to go Gang Busters on HBO Max it is because people don't want to go to the movies but they do want to Wonder in 1984 will it be

pay-per-view that was my question too Luke uh that's a very good question probably they would have to right it can't just be part of the subscription uh it doesn't say I'd be very surprised if it's not Luke what would you pay what would you pay Mulan was 30 bucks would you pay 30 bucks for Wonder Woman I'd pay 10 10 each there's two of you that's no no no just the one well that's the thing right when you're paying the $30 for Milan your whole family can watch it so that is something to take into consideration and if you wanted to have a a part although you probably shouldn't have a party because there apparently the problem we have here in the US the the biggest reason we've got problems too much is because everybody's

just having hundreds of people around their house and no one's wearing masks apparently that's they're trying to say that's that's what you're doing wrong guys cuz everyone's like you know we're not going yeah cuz you've got everybody's at your house and you're all coughing on each other stop it yeah and thanksgiving's this week so that's going to go real well oh yeah cuz yeah people still have to travel home they've said please don't travel and you're not allowed to socialize outside your household I mean knowing that everybody will but then the airports are just packed so but anyway so yeah yeah normally I could have a bunch of people around and we could watch you know Wonder Woman 1984 I I mean that would never happen but

another film maybe that would happen like if it was a new Star Wars movie I might have a watch party for it m post pandemic I i' go 10 maybe 15 at the most any more than that I just don't I don't I don't know I don't know why I just don't think should be paying $30 how much is it normally to rent a movie say on you know like Apple TV or to R what five bucks no no but a new release one yeah five bucks okay I think so but I mean that's not new new release like this is this is like day and date new release I think uh I think when I was looking at Bill and Ted yeah it was in the vicinity of the 499 okay all right what's what's something new that came out I'm just I'm just saying like I know that this this specifically has not really

oh man yeah I'm interested interested because I love Citizen Kane and this is about the backstory of Citizen Kane and I love David Fincher I love attus Ross and Trent resner and they've done the music for this I love black and white cinematography this is gearing up to be my favorite I was going to say yeah sounds like there's a lot to like about this have you seen the website for the sorry you left out Gary Oldman Dan Gary Oldman is the star yeah yeah the you can listen to the soundrack now there's a website that just slowly Cycles through behind the scenes pictures while oh that's soundtrack it's wonderful I should check that out now they do good work they certainly do they don't do varied or surprising work I'll

give him that but they they do good I always like it consistently good and it sounds like them I mean what can you ask for yeah there's nothing wrong with just being consistently yeah why change stuff if it's working yeah you know these days that if you go to see a David Fincher movie you are going to hear some Tre resner and attic across that's right and don't complain about it I I'm trying to have a look and see if there's like a movie that's coming out recently to try and get a rental price but there's nothing that would be on the same level as Wonder Woman this will be the T I guess ten was the test to see if people would just go to the cinema this will be the test to see if people go when they've got the option yeah and I

wonder if other they do then Cinema's dead yeah correct and if uh cuz Bill and Ted launched the same time but it's not the same thing as Wonder Woman No like there's no you don't need to see Bill and Ted at the movies very glad I didn't I saw it at the movies yeah no I mean I'm not saying you shouldn't I'm just saying you don't need to like no it's not like but it don't risk your life for it if you're gonna go see Wonder Woman part of Wonder Woman and James Bond and all that is it seen on the big screen with this you know the spectacle and the action and the the the movie sound and yeah it's different to Bill and Ted which is because actually sometimes depending on which Cinema you go to whether and cuz remember some of

the cinas have like the small ones now where the screen not is good the sound's a bit gone you're actually better off just watching it at home yeah I geted off when I at least you know that at home you're like I've got good speakers in 4k so yeah yeah yeah but still sometimes it is just nice to get out of the house and oh yeah I love go to the movies oh yeah that must be that must be nice in the mate no I know I took my dog to the beach yesterday it was nice that's good big Co he [ __ ] he [ __ ] loves the beach it's his favorite thing so does Charlie Charlie [ __ ] Ador the beach yeah does he still have that swimming injury Charlie's all better now doesn't need his anymore our de still gets a little bit scared by the

streamed like 20 minutes of it yeah I didn't watch it because from what I heard it's terrible and it's like two Stoner guys basically talking over oh God top of it like yeah it doesn't sound good don't let that be your first experience to the most anticipated movement of this year and they sort of skip over the character creation where I know when I get this game I'm going to spend an hour creating my character that I'll never get to see did you watch so they had another night City Wire oh they had two last week actually they had a special one where they showed Xbox one versus Xbox sorry Xbox One X versus Xbox series X oh literally what you wanted to see Matt yeah exactly right well although I mean so and and that's without the next gen

patch which doesn't exist yet so it looks [ __ ] gorgeous anyway so I I have no quarms about playing this it looks [ __ ] beautiful um yeah and then they had the the fifth actual night City Y where they had you know kandra Reeves was on there talking about doing moap and voice acting and stuff and then there was a section on the music which [ __ ] was fantastic uh cuz this game's got some sick music in it and then they showed a new trailer that I was almost like what's that who does the music for this uh it's uh I can't pronounce his name it's the it's the the the same guy who did the music for The Witcher was kind of the lead on it and then but also just hundreds of artists right um to do no worldwide hundreds of

electronic artists and and yeah great everybody like there's people from the future you wouldn't have heard of d I I there are artists I don't know the names of I know I think blue Starley and um some other people again I don't know if you know no one's Super Famous but if you're into like electronic music uh you're probably going to notice some people some indie artists that you know and then I will not be noticing and there's a game mode where you can if you want to stream you can there's an option to exclude music that could be a problem so you can still have music on and they've cleared the license for you to stream it so there's a mode odd are twitch will probably still delayed it anyway that's interesting uh but they showed a new

trailer and I was I it was making me uncomfortable because it it I know what the plot of the game is now and I didn't before and I was like oh I don't know I mean it's fine cuz normally you would know but I didn't know anything before and now I know what the plot is and I was like oh but I wish they'd kind of give me a bit of a warning that I was going to learn the plot of the game it revealed a little more quite well yeah I got a shock about about it as well I also got a shock what the sort of story use I've sort of I've played that game before yeah I mean it's interesting and um I'm I mean I'm going to play the [ __ ] out of it but I was just like talk about it cuz I actually I've stopped watching all media for this game a little while ago because I

Borderlands The Telltale Game like the story's been done yeah I mean it looks [ __ ] great still but I was just like the Greeks the Greeks did every story yeah that's fair two and a half thousand years ago like yeah the on we're all about anal Dan and yogurt and plus it' be in another language you want to take a break from [ __ ] me in the ass to get some yogurt I don't know why they're Mexican now that's and that's the of Assassin's Creed Odyssey one one thing though I when I found out that that the voice actors for Odyssey were putting on those Greek accents oh I now just can't because I just assumed

I like it better when I could reasonably assume that they were Greek actors yeah because I'll be honest it's not the best Greek accent but I thought okay it must be like accurate like to the period you know yeah I didn't I didn't know that it wasn't no I watched behind the scenes and like yeah M it's really great I got involved in this game I get to do the voice characters I just i' see my um I assume all the Greeks all sound like guo hatsis from yeah yeah who was Guido hattis or con the fruer yeah exactly and who who was Guido hates do we know you know who I mean listeners may not know who I mean I mean a very Australian thing yeah yeah he was uh it
