said what the DLC is going to be like it's going to be like haven't said and that's the annoying thing like is it going to be a whole new story over to the side or is it going to be oh what was the DLC for something that if you'd finished oh the out of Worlds if you'd finished the game and you didn't have an earlier save you could you had to start the game again I don't think it' be like that I imagine it' be more like The Witcher 3 where it was you know made the map bigger and there was more stuff going on in places you'd already been but also a new area actually I think a lot of some of the Assassin's Creed games I think sorry Valhalla you go to different locations but yeah uh Odyssey I reckon they could have more driving could be I reckon they'll be

more driving one of the dlc's cuz the driving I think is a bit underrated in it you don't get to do as much as i' underrated people hated the driving that was one of the things they changed a lot in this new patch yeah but I want more races and stuff like that oh oh I hate all that stuff like actually like driving driving yeah right like GTA playing a lot of I have been playing um f1220 all day oh oh I checked out the 60fps patch for Odyssey and it looks great looks fantastic played that for a little bit oh yeah I meant to tell you guys I also tried the the um the patch for Sen sacrifice and it's too yeah oh man going back to all these games I decided to try something new something that I saw I think at E3 last year and thought it looked interesting and then

either apparently cuz I was playing I was playing it in the afternoon the other day kind of two days in a row and then last night I'm doing the the late shift because I I had a baby and uh I was staying up with her and and and thought I'll put this on and then like got seriously spooked and was like no this is not fun wake up wake up up I'm really not good with scary games I remember playing Outlast I got to the first scare of the game and just went no uninstalled never played again this is way SC than Outlast it's not it's not for me SS like scary but uh but this this just creeps you out it's just it's creepy it's so it's in just in the woods with a torch game I just started playing today

and I mean like just started playing just watch the recap start menu was pych Psychonauts 2 psych Psychonauts Psychonauts 2 yeah I saw that came out this is a game you want to play in like psychotic astronauts um so did you guys ever play the original Psychonauts no I've never I I thought this was not a game for me see I thought this was a game for kids I was in psychedelic yeah it's it's it's definitely not for kids it's about you going into people's brains and helping them deal with like childhood trauma and so basically people go to sleep I believe and they go to sleep in the game and yeah it's funny it's double fine trust me you want to play this game I'm looking at it now and I'm like it's

actually I don't think this is not what I thought it was I don't know what I thought it was actually you know what for some reason I thought it was more like um Super Smash Brothers I don't know why I thought it was like that yeah I don't know what I thought it was cuz I never played the original on Xbox but then I've been seeing some stuff come up about it and I've gone hold on I think I want to play this game and it's on Game Pass so I installed it sort a recap and went Yep this I'm going to enjoy this well and it's it's weird a recap so it's it's literally a sequel It's a sequel so evidently the first game ends with you saving someone who got kidnapped and then the person who kidnapped him you don't know who his boss is but you're going to find out who his boss is and

that's how it ended many many years ago and then they just got a sequel made now right cuz the first one was the original Xbox oh oh which you can also play on Game Pass but it's original Xbox what does the original one look like oh the same basically yeah but shittier yeah great for the time oh yeah I see okay so it's like a plat almost like a like a platformer kind of looks like evid but evidently it changes like every mind you go into is very different H H so it's not like just the same thing over and over and over so Matt another game for you to play oh yeah cool I need more of those I do need I want to play something that's own Game Pass cuz I've been playing those ass the Assassin's Creeds which are not on Game Pass cyber Punk not on game pass

Assassin Creed oh right of course assassin assassin AOS assassin yeah the plural needs to be on the Assassin yeah and then also of a basically a prequel to Assassin's Creed Valhalla I've been watching Vikings and it actually is very interesting to see characters from Assassin's Creed Valhalla be born in in the TV show Vikings and I'm wondering if it's actually going to continue into the same time period I think think they've taken some Liberties either either Assassin's Creed took some Liberties they're all Taking Liberties or either the show took Liberties cuz there's some stuff that doesn't quite yeah yeah I I'll shock you just to point out that neither of the game nor the TV drama are documentaries no no no no didn't it's on the history Chan one

sometimes to be like but that's just his way yeah just trying to be smarter than you a little bit but like but that's fine if you've watched if you've watched jaa's standup you know where he's going with all this already yeah but I did enjoy it a lot and I mean he's not wrong I just think he's he's heavy-handed yeah he just likes how right AG he wants to pointed out a lot mhm mhm and he has to be the character who knows that stuff like he couldn't write somebody else to be the atheist and him be a religious person you know he has to be the atheist arguing in his defense he did play David Brent so he gets he also gets to be a not [ __ ] character true true true well he is a [ __ ] in this too oh yeah I suppose so yeah well it's a Redemption story yeah yeah unlike

David story which is a [ __ ] not a red iion story yeah no did you watch the movie oh unfortunately man I did yeah couple of laughs in there yeah but just really awkward and uncomfortable plus you know that Steven Merchant was cut out of the writing process and that just made it even more awkward and uncomfortable yeah and no one was asking for that movie maybe the year after yeah seriously I if you just said that the office was that one episode where they have that um seminar in in the workplace that workplace training seminar up there yeah yeah and the like he went home to get that guitar that's a 90-minute round trip yeah so good that guy in in that

episode reminds me of Grant do you know who I mean the guy who runs the seminar yeah yes yes just a little bit I don't know why I thought of that just then I just pictured the guy's face and I was actually picturing Grant and grant grant is a listener so I hope I hope that's a flat cuz he's Googling him now wherever he is no I don't think that's a disc right no I don't I don't really remember what he looks like now seminar it's been a very long time since I've seen it Guy what's the actor's name I trying to decide if I should request this be cut out seminar host no it's just a chubby bald guy in a suit yeah I can see no no no no that's not him oh wait this is the wrong [ __ ] office that's the problem

with the office is that they made a bad one as well there's a good office that's and here I have to oh you remember the office and everyone's like oh yeah I love the office we're not talking about the same show yeah yeah yeah okay so I'll challenge you a something while you're talking about the office something that H and I have started watching that is completely out of character but actually I really like because it's very well written and we've been watching The Mindy Project oh yes project have you seen that it comes from um someone who was in what you call the bad office oh not Mindy King it's yeah it's it's very good she's the least she's the least interesting part of the show to be honest um but it's just the writing is excellent for it's just a show about you

know a single girl trying to make it in the big city I mean I know she's written a lot of stuff actually there was a funny um Twitter into ction she had that someone screenshoted because somebody she posted something and someone being a you know sexist weirdo said something about posted a gift from the office and she replied and said I wrote that episode of The Office yeah see I I don't know that office at all I don't know who she played in the office is there a character in the English office that's the equivalent of who she plays I don't no I don't think so I don't think so she was in an episode of um always sunny and I didn't enjoy it but you weren't supposed to I think I think it was part of the gag was it I might be wrong with that you know

what maybe she's fine I don't know sounds like she think she is I'm going to have to just silence no cuz Luke really spooked me yeah yeah you you go do that why did I spook you no no you spooked me a couple of weeks ago when you pointed out that I don't like nice things and I really tried to find nice things that I do enjoy and I couldn't think of many the the work on that the closest one that I could think of was Mythic quest which is not dark but it is very sarcastic soon The Wiggles is going to be a big part of your life I know I know and you know how many there's nine Wiggles now yes and theyve there's only four colors now oh interesting they decided think of nine colors no they just went like why do we have to change the colors wi go are four

colors same colors yeah yeah so you can't say like the red wiggle now because it's just there's two yeah it's interesting but you go like the original red wiggle yeah well there's only one original wiggle still left on the team and he sticks out like he looks like The Wiggles dad getting close to grandfather Yeah Yeah Yeah you could be right like um yeah they've been around for a very long time they were there when I was working at toys or us yeah right yeah we we we never had Wiggles when we were kids but I no what did I used to watch I watched it for a different reason than a kid would oh God I like Charlie no you're thinking of you're thinking of high five high five Charlie was my favorite Charlie was my favorite too man mhm Charlie was nice Charlie was very

because I assume in wipe out there's a different kind of style to it every week right it's not the same course every week is it I think the way you stretch it out is you make ways for people to get hurt yeah fair fair like you make it that people get punched in the face and from what I've heard they don't like film this like in a place with like health and safety is a thing that makes sense so they film it like in international waters I heard that like wipe out got filmed in Argentina or something weird oh you know what this is a segue this show Frogger is hosted by one of the Lesser known Wayan's Brothers right who is in a sitcom called Happy Endings which I like very much which is a very nice

show so I'm adding happy endings to the list of nice nice shows that I like as well so so so you like happy endings yes I'll say it here I like happy endings mhm MH yep okay yep I'm just going to leave it at that I love that um there's 80s Nostalgia cuz this is this is our time right like no this is actually I go this is actually a little bit before our time yeah true true like we we we knew Frogger but we never played Frogger like true like we did play it but not like at the arcade yeah certainly not the better the arcade stuff like Street Fighter correct but mind you home consoles cuz I was quite late to the party on that when I was about seven one kid in my class had an Atari 2600 and he had only about three or four games

funny yeah but I love I love that there are there are things hearkening back to that time late 70s early ' 80s cuz the people that were kids then I our age um are making are making TV shows now which I love but who was asking for the Frogger TV remake this is something where they've seen wipe out and they've gone wow this is a quick way to make money who owns Frogger basically you just got the setup for it and they've probably owned the Frogger license for a billion years cuz it's probably just been something that they've licensed forever ago yeah all this is is they get the people who are commentating they're not there live commentating I don't think oh it's like Funniest Home Videos yep so they just get them in an office

for a day hey just watch this spit this out so they film everything in a day and then all the commentary in a day mhm oh wow that's that's actually quite that's quite ingenious actually yeah but the quality of Television you get now is that true I find television has gotten to the point where there's nothing in the middle now there's either high quality television like [ __ ] Lim toown and the North Water etc etc and then there's a huge gap and then there's Frogger no I've hav't seen Frogger I want to comment on something I haven't seen but you know what I mean yeah well no that that's that's not something where if you miss an episode you're missing anything yeah all you miss is people falling in water getting kit by a big ball no but that's why I can't also

I don't really get into shows like Psych is because I need that like unres oh really yep only three more episodes and then we've got two movies and they're making a third or they were stuff may have stopped now speaking of television shows they've just finished making season 3 of the oral oh I see no I haven't but I saw it I saw it in my I actually I don't even know what platform it was on but I thought I was going to ask you if that's worth watching Bing yeah right um look it it's it's not when they first announced it it sound like it's going to like Family Guy in space sure yeah it's not it's like

a it's basically Star Trek but funny okay well like that's what they really going for like it's just that each episode is it own self-contained thing right I mean you've kind of just described the Next Generation yeah but it's funny oh purposely funny yes yeah not by accident sorry Next Generation did not age well no it did not Star Trek next Generation yeah you're right I was going to argue but it didn't no you're right no not only not only that but even just little things like all the special effects were done on SD video so you just you just can't watch it now it's just it's just awful I'm I don't want to alarm you but somebody in this room had shits and I'll leave it up to you to determine what it was better to not say

don't name names well you were the one that had to leave so that's true yeah I was wondering why you turned the whole camera off as well rather than just I expected to just see you walk to the door I'll be honest I don't know why I did that either cuz I left the mic on too cuz but I mean I was aware of it so yeah one thing I'm super excited for that they've just announced them doing a HD remaster of Robotech oh oh you know what there's a guy out there who would love this he's the only one who will buy it so if we make this expensive enough we can recoup our costs I will be buying it how will you buy it like Blue-ray are you still on Blu-ray or I've got digital yeah okay yeah what we I how people buy things

anymore cuz I just I just stream now there are when stuff is on sale or there's something I know I want I will still buy where do you see these cuz I wouldn't even see something on sale oh so I only look at the Xbox store right right and the Xbox store they each week they have movies for like five bucks okay oh yeah and yeah I just go in there and I go hey I might watch this one day I don't but then I buy it speaking of movies and we don't have to talk much about this cuz you guys discussed this already last week but uh The Suicide Squad oh yeah yeah yeah did you watch it terrific yeah terrific it's it's a great movie I want to watch it again yeah but it's not like the be all and end all of superhero movies or anything it's not changing the game it's just a very good

movie like I was thinking about it this week cuz it's been you know people been talking about and stuff like that and I was like oh yeah I should watch that again I haven't thought that about a DC movie ever ever well this not this generation DC sure yeah so like the original Superman I'll watch that again yeah obviously R Don what's that cci4 no I'm just thinking about DC I'm just thinking no actually specifically I'm thinking about the David AA cut of uh that that he's now trying to Spook off the original Suicide Squad [ __ ] how how ballsy is it too that DC have like we're just going to we're not even going to call this Suicide Squad reloaded or anything we're just going to call it the suicide squ

essentially just redacting the original film like honestly if it wasn't for Harley Quinn being people liking her and I look quite like her as margar robers Harley Quinn I look quite like herit a little bit yeah sure Luke yeah yeah certain angles I've had to same hair before yeah I thought this was her best performance too I mean I know she's doing the same character but I thought well she had more to do in this movie other than just show her but like she's she's and I think that's what that was quite good about it it wasn't just that this time oh yeah but she was only she's the only character that crosses over apart from um what's his face and Davidson yeah like it's Captain Boomerang yeah Joel kman there's there's half a dozen of them yeah it yeah yeah

Davis yeah no but I love that I love that they kept continuity and they were like this is the same universe but here's all the car they did what we used to joke that that JJ Abrams should do in the Star Wars sequels which is literally murder all the characters you don't like from the prequels but I don't know cuz they're still doubling down on this universe because they got the squad they still got Aquaman 2 coming out there still is there anything else well thankfully the Batman another the movie is different is different are they doing another Wonder Woman do you reckon they're going to do a The Joker to replace Joker they've already done it no that was just Joker they're going to do the Joker um yeah no because there's still a lot of

talk now because of Suicide Squad and scripts being leaked and people going oh it would have been better if he had have got to do this it's all like more Joker would not have made that movie better there was too much Joker to begin with far too much far too much imagine now so David a is talking up this cut of his I can't see how it's going to be good right no so he's I mean that's unless he's really confident that they're not going to put that movie out and he's never going to have to actually like I don't know his mouth the script that was leaked I'll guarantee you he leaked it what I'm saying is you got to be confident you made a good movie that they somehow converted into total

garbage right imagine if I started going episode 87 of this podcast man if I had edited that it would have been [ __ ] great and then you guys like fine reedit it let's see how [ __ ] great it is not only that you said I did reedit it and it was [ __ ] amazing yeah but I Mt don't want you to no you can show you can show everyone he does say that everything in the script he had was filmed and that the issue a big issue was they got the same people who cut the the trailer they hired them back to edit the movie down to try and make it guard into the Galaxy cuz that's what was big at the time so next time they just got the director from the Galaxy and they let him and look what happened but like he thinks that that's that no no no I had

the script and I shot all of the stuff that was in the script what do you want from me yeah mind you I had this uh I had this great moment where and by great I mean infuriating um when I was directing my one and only scripted television series that will remain nameless and that no one will ever see um where I had to take a call from the writer to give me notes on the edit oh and he was and he was like why didn't you include this joke and I'm like I was all well and good to write that on a page but when you film it it's really really unfunny he's like no no you got you got to include it and I'm like but but it's not funny trust me it wasn't [ __ ] funny like and the goal was to be funny not to just include me saying that it works on the page is me just paying new

lip service right what I mean is it wasn't funny so we didn't film it so yeah there's no edit of this that exist correct yeah yeah evidently there's still it's not my joke my job to just film every line on the page as David a seems to think it is don't forget there's a lot of Jared Leto just going off script and doing his own thing oh good there's a lot of fil of that there's even Jared let off camera doing his own [ __ ] thing yeah oh man here's a bit of unrelated but slightly related Suicide Squad news Nathan filan's Hometown the people of that town are piting to have their Town Hall named the Nathan fillian civilian Pavilion I've got bad news for you D it's fake we discussed this last week did
