this week's going to be a crazy episode I just have a feeling really cuz we're we're an hour later so I'm more awake than normal oh even though I should be awake at 8 have you taken all your necessary pain medication he he would have done that an hour ago no no no no I do it when I wake up and I woke up 5 minutes ago okay so you're going to do it live on air again I was going to say so that you just said no so that means you haven't done it yet and he's just reminded you that you need to is that what's happening no I I I took my um injection okay I've had some of my tablets I need to take my strong tablet I don't know where they are they were here the way it works listeners is that if for some reason Luke's wife is not available to remind him of these things

to do it's to bond with them just yes by licking them yeah yeah yeah but so look I want to know why don't you push the cat around the pram because I I don't know I just have this feeling that your reason for not doing it is not the one that people might suspect yeah cuz I'll look like a buckwit is not in Luke's vocabulary right that's got nothing to do with it so I have to walk outside and walk okay yeah okay so it's okay yeah so if there was a pram where the cat could push you you'd be up for it like a sled radio controlled pram that you could control from your couch if I had like my switch or like a steam deck or something that I could play why they push me then yes okay yeah yeah you don't have to look at the

outside so not only would he not go outside if he had to walk he wouldn't go outside if he had to stop playing games yes what are you playing this week Luke I started playing power wash simulator okay that sounds awful God I've seen people talking about that what is that um it is you're just cleaning up your front driveway with a gy pretty much and my God it is relaxing I I didn't think of it myself there's one thing I'm very upset about it I'm very upset about it is the achievements are terrible what are the achievements give me an example of achievements terrible because you can't just get them instantly cuz you can't cheat use console commands no you each time you do a different place you like get an achiev it but no it's sort like oh oh like house

flipper I had to clean the gutters last and sort of like no I just want to get an achievement for cleaning do they tell you that you have to clean the guts last or is that just up to you to research on your own that's I think it's a professional power washer you should know those kind of things Dan yeah yeah so manual is the appeal of this game just the satisfaction of seeing something filthy become clean yes that's why I go to church you know what you could clean your own stuff no don't look behind me to see that filthy filthy priest I love I I look give it a try it's on Game Pass so you can try it for nothing remember

when I remember when I packed up my Xbox and TV because I thought I would have about 3 weeks before I'd be moving into my house that was three months ago so Game Pass doesn't help me you'll be moving in soon then yeah very soon sounds like they've just stopped they've just stopped replying to us when we're like any news on the date yet okay um you can the steering wheel's gone on yeah cuz I taking the Xbox to check something oh and that turns out um you you can play uh power wash simulator on cloud gaming so you should be able to play it on your PC oh okay well can I play can I play it on my Mac because I don't have my PC with me yeah there you go just use it's just using um the the Xbox game PES app and then it just streams the game if internet's okay you

just stream the game and then I don't even have a controller can I use the keyboard I don't know do you know what I played a little bit of that you would be interested in I think Dan um and that's just actually just reminded me that I should play more of it is Dune spice Wars oh yes that does look very interesting yes it's by the guys who did North guard which is that Viking game I loved North guard I didn't play nearly enough of that mhm well same and then I saw I actually so is it is it North guard but onus cuz I'd play that kind of so you start out and you're in arak or I guess it depends on who you play I played as Z tra so I have arakan as my base and then you basically like start with nothing and you send out like a ornithopter and you have to scout out a

spice field and then send out build and send out a sand crawler but then you want to build like a Refinery at a nearby fan Village but you've kind of got to subdue the fan to do that so you go basically that's the gamees all that kind of stuff it's good you're saying a lot of words I and it's like like in the book sand words come sand worms come and you've got to you got you you want to assign an oropa to that sand c yeah yeah because you got to you've got to emergency Evacuate the the crew yeah that's you said a lot of words I have no idea what they mean you would Luke if you read past the first page of the book yeah I can't it's so boring you want really want to make sure you never have your back to the door that's that's an important yeah that's right that I

know yeah I constantly turn around the wrong way and it's like game over oh so that's on early early access game at the moment on Steam it is yes I'm playing it on you don't have a PC either so I know that it's available on Mac so that's that's good no I'm playing it on GeForce now oh right okay so yeah it doesn't look like it's Mac I've bought six Steam games this month already um it's two weeks into the month yeah why did I just know I'm not going to play because they know how to get me they just send me a little alert that says hey something on your wish list is um on sale and I go better pick that up now because I mean I've put it on my wish list for a reason wish list yeah yeah I've got to clean up my um my

switch wish list it's got a bunch of games on there like old adventure games that I already have purchased on other platforms and I get emails it's like oh these games that you wanted to on sale I'm like I don't want those anymore Adventure gam that he's purchased on other platforms that means that he's downloaded the rums for for his little handheld I'm winking into the [Laughter] microphone I've been playing um another game Resident Evil Village and I need to start that I I was telling you guys I played a little bit last night and I think I had said on the show the other week that I read an article that talked about how biohazard was still considered the scariest one you know scary I can

understand why you'd say that I mean yeah and I was like oh yeah sure no it's not there is and and I I look this up too and I'm not the only one who thinks this there's a sequence in V The Village I'm give anything away cuz I don't want to ruin it for anybody that is [ __ ] terrifying okay it's honestly it gives me Silent Hill you know in Silent Hill Hill 2 in particular where you're like it's scary because you're like this doesn't make any sense so literally Anything Could Happen which is terrifying like I don't understand what is happening right now so like yeah and there's a bit you literally I'm just hiding in a closet in the game like I don't want to go out there this sounds like me playing all of

the uh what's the Machine For Pigs series oh Amnesia yeah Amnesia the you have no given anything I don't know what's going to happen so I'm just [ __ ] very similar to that you have no weapons and you're just trying to do this thing and it's out it's like oh this is cool this is a fun thing and then it kind of slowly escalates where you're like that's weird and then it's just really well done anyway I don't want to say anything more just you guys got to play these games [ __ ] great few games really legitimately scared me but I love it when they do it's just Silent Hill was definitely one the first Silent Hill because I mean a the graphics were so [ __ ] there was no draw distance like it was just [ __ ] fog

everywhere I couldn't see a godam and then suddenly your radio would just start buzzing and you just like [ __ ] something's going to kill me yeah and I like that they just took a limitation of the technology they had at the time turned it into a Game feature yeah amazing yeah brilliant oh we can't draw the whole town just put [ __ ] fog yeah yep like all right what in the background no one foot front of your [ __ ] face it's all the PlayStation can render that's right yeah but you know in Silent Hill too right this particular bit I think the reason it got me is cuz it it's tied to like the story and everything really well and it's like creepy and unsettling and you know like in Silent Hill 2 where you're playing as

James and as you go through these horrifying things are happening you're like what the [ __ ] is going on and then you realize like oh his wife was terminally ill and he was like feeling he was repressed sexually he was holding that against her and all this horrible [ __ ] and he like and he Smothers it with a pillow at one point and then you realize oh Pyramid Head is him just wanted to [ __ ] everything and that's why the monsters have like just two sets of legs on top I'll stop you there Matt Pyramid Head is a generic villain that can come and fight any protagonist in any sequ or they [ __ ] that up Hill 2 is a [ __ ] Masterpiece but just that all that stuff is just and it this reminded me of that and it just really got it's good there's an old one for PS1 called

clock tower that I never played that oh yeah people online say is adjacent it Silent Hill so I've I've got that on the retroid pocket 2 plus that I hope to play at some stage I'm so close to the end of Black Thorn man [ __ ] I'm finished state of Atlantis too yeah punching Nazis I was concerned just by the trailers of Resident Evil Village that it looked a bit sillier a bit less serious and therefore a bit less scary than it is in a way biohazard because biohazard was genuinely terrifying M and the plot was so simple you're in a house [ __ ] Hicks want to kill you they can't quite be killed you got to find out why got to try to survive well you plays the same

character in village and you know it is and then so I mean this is not really a spoiler you may I don't know if they adverti this right but you have there's a whole bunch of different creatures in this right cuz it's set in Eastern Europe and there's like vampire You' seen you've seen the vampires right those ladies that so there them seen them that's like part of the game like I'm I think I'm just done with that section now and i' so and then there's other jump out and scare you again there's other might not be done with so okay but but yeah any zombies cuz I'll remind you this is a Resident Evil game yes there are zombies yes okay all right I might finish SE biohazard tonight and so I can or today so and I'll try and if you're only up to the

point where you're hiding from the lady with the lamp you've got quite a bit of game to go you're about half I'd say believe me I can fin okay all right all right I um I don't know the final stage took me some trial and error so you know when I when I started playing biohazard I was like how the [ __ ] does this tie into any of the other games and it does Loosely at the end but now I'm playing the village and you're playing as the same character from biohazard you're the same guy but I'm like the [ __ ] has this got to do with anything like why are they vampires so I don't know how any oos to you're a cop in Raccoon City and the Umbrella Corporation put [ __ ] zombies around yeah yeah so I'm I don't know I don't know whether it's going to try and tie it in or not I'm interested

part seven where you have to make the choice of who to save your friend or the person who's been helping you it's just like yes what yeah yeah so good no your ex-wife or the yeah who you went there to save I was trying not to give too much away oh I'm sorry for Luke someone's helping me yeah someone's helping you oh I made the right choice I had to get out of there Dan no [ __ ] I want to get laid cut you do both I don't you both got silence I'm guessing I just no I just realized something I've just realized whatever one I save has to [ __ ] me right that's the Proviso before I choose you're both down for that yeah whoever I choose I

just remembered something there's multiple endings for seven clearly and the one that I got doesn't fit with the start of Village that's what I was going to ask when you said you were the same character see that's a bit annoying when they they do have like multiple endings and then they make a sequel and they go this one the Canon one I went back and I watched the recap cuz I was like what do they want me to know happened cuz that's not what happened and then I watched the recap I was like oh okay yeah I know that happened with um XCOM oh yeah sure remember when they remade that like the the you can finish the first game and you can kill the aliens and win but in the second one it's no the aliens won yeah yeah otherwise it wouldn't be another

game oh cuz this this one literally has Supernatural stuff in it that's the other thing that I'm like it's a bit different to seven in the the seven never really had like it had creepy things but you could kind of explain them away wasn't anything kind of Supernatural you what I'm trying to say yeah yeah I think I do explicitly Supernatural where I mean so far this I'm like well that's that has no logical vampires well it could be like a bioweapon or something something scientific or science but there's other stuff in this that I'm like well that doesn't make any sense yeah no you know what doesn't make any sense there are like six there are like nine resid Evil movies [ __ ] there TV show now is there TV show came out on Netflix

the other day I got to watch it do the movies still have Mia Jovovich in them they yeah they I think they that must be the only series she exclusively acts in now cuz I've not seen her directed by her husband I saw WR direct one of her husbands cuz she's got a history of marrying directors I sort of I watched the first Resident Evil love that watch the second one went what and I think I watched the third one then never watched another one again I actually thought the third one was probably better than the second one the one in the desert yeah but then the fourth one which one was was basically it looked like the whole thing was filmed in a green screen and it was like did you even yeah the one was the one where she like hang Glides into the City

and it's in a skyscraper yeah yeah and then at the end she flies off in the plane and then the fifth one the first is God M I [ __ ] love him M the only thing I like better the res evil sequels it's the underworld sequels there's about n of them quite good know Underworld 2 is great I'll fight I'll is on that no I agree people don't like it second one was good okay sorry there was six movies I thought there was n okay six still enough still the first one wasn't great I mean we enjoyed it it had a good soundtrack yeah I wouldn't call it a good movie though mro Bel tramy yeah um maybe it's just because I was looking movich the entire time yeah there is that one shot that if you pause it you can see up her skirt yeah where she's

wearing the sort of paper but I only know that because she points it out on the commentary all right doesn't surprise me I don't think yeah she does here com here comes the [ __ ] shot it's like okay so I'm just just while we're talking about uh scary stuff I'm watching a TV series at the moment um I'm watching it on Stan but it's on something I've never heard of in America but it's called from right from and um from which is which is a really difficult thing to Google especially if you're like what's that last song from the episode four of from you know like it's just things you're trying to type in something else um I'll be honest I only watched this because I thought this was the new Jordan Peele movie and it's not that's

nope I remembered it was just one word and I saw a poster for a horror called from and I was like okay so not only a lot of one-word shows and movies that's right yeah um I watched so much of Glee but um I was pleasantly surprised even though I realized this was not it and it was a series not even a movie so uh good for me this is that sub genre of horror that I guess you'd call creepy Country Town which I really like right so family end up in creepy Country Town realize they can't leave realize no one can leave and there's this whole other Town population that comes out at night that wants to kill them and it's pretty good I'm enjoying it I'm a couple of episodes from the end I recommend it there's just one thing that's stopping me from really

loving it there's a kid and they've just given him way too many lines like and he's not good no kids are good if you got kid Str your things kids were great they they were teenagers though early teens playing a little younger this kid's a four-year-old kid with Exposition this is like Princess Leia exactly it exactly remind me of Princess Leia but I'll go one step and and say she was slightly better than this kid oh boy but she's slightly older as well slightly um but any and and I hate to say this because in any other context this would be absolutely fine even Charming but the kid's mother is played by an English as a second language actress right so those scenes you just you you're watching him try to remember

the lines and then you're having her reply with this like strange Cadence and it's like and you still look at it go this doesn't feel natural between them yes exactly right they're not having a conversation you watch any other two actors in the show and you're watching characters here you're watching two actors their lines but it is good and and I think you're like Matt I think it's up your alley yeah it reminds me a little bit of um what was that show set on the island with the priest vampire oh um midnight mass midnight mass a little bit like that but not at that I need done another try you I didn't get far enough in ra the benefit of the doubt I love ra yeah it's very good and it gets better and better as it goes along but Matt it's not at that

it's not at that premium level okay it's not at stranger things level either it's it's it's it's at dare I say it it's at Walking Dead level very very good when there's action but probably a little too much drama when you just want more action but is it maybe filling a gap that's sort of I could do some when you finish all those other shows and you're waiting for the next one exactly right exactly right sometimes you don't want to get completely invested you're happy to just watch and this is a just watch you know you're not going to go on the internet and discuss this with people you know what I mean I'm more willing to get invested on a show that's on Stan or something than I am these say to get invested in a show off Netflix yeah

that's right especially if you want another season yeah like just you're it's too risky to like a show on Netflix these days see I don't know whether I keep trying to push you guys to watch um was it project 89 what was that show with the haunted whatever it is arive 81 it was so good like guy gets hired to watch vide tapes and there's weird [ __ ] on them great but canel I I think I finally worked out why Netflix has is sort of doing this cuz Netflix is also one of the most expensive of the streaming services it's very it's quite a bit more expensive than all the others like sometimes double close to Triple I PID $20 a month for Netflix and then like Apple TV is like seven

bucks Disney's like eight bucks like they're all a lot cheaper I I think it's actually just come down to because Netflix would have first they're used to being rich and I think basically they're a bit upset they're not making as much as they used to they do have a problem because everybody who everybody who has the means to get Netflix and wants Netflix already has it like nobody who has to your reach doesn't have Netflix and like you can't sell Netflix to you know people in a country where they don't have internet right they just it's like not not an option so at a certain point they're just going to run out of people who can have it but but thing I don't understand why it's always constantly we need to make more money can't don't you

can't you get to a point where we're making enough money because they have investors that's not how it works unun Luke Luke's business school 101 when you get enough money that you're happy just stop no you're right there if you're a small business if you're a small business and you're making enough money that you're comfortable sure but I think when you're a big corporation like Netflix with investors and investors they want percentage in you know increases and and all this [ __ ] horeshit on their Investments yeah yeah if all you want to do is own a book shop because you think it' be nice to own and work a Bookshop um then all you need to do is break even and you loveing life look what happened to Jeff Bezos yeah do

they're still making lots of money fan of The Never Ending Story I hear they lose as much money as they make though but I'm no businessman either like Amazon they spend no not Amazon um oh Netflix I don't believe that because you got to they've got to spend money that's the thing like they're not licensing shows they're making shows from scratch like huge expensive but they're only making one and then they go away which you you make the second season it's probably cheaper and the season's cheaper yeah but that doesn't get new people or does it I don't think I don't think season 4 of stranger things was cheaper than season but that's the well no no no I'm not yeah stranger things is separate

stranger things is the exception that proves the rule just stranger things all the other shows are only stranger things yeah a lot of the other shows they just yeah they just cancel like um even if they're good it's not about good it's about how many people watching they cancel stuff very quickly it's not even about many people watch them it's about how oh sub new how many people might start subscribing for a show that's not out yet yeah that's fair I'll say this about stranger things and we don't have to talk about it because we crapped on about it week after week but what's the name of the actor who plays Eddie Joseph Quinn see his name Joseph Quinn yeah he has become such a [ __ ] Star online yeah I know that I would be very surprised if they left him dead he

is undoubtedly a fan favorite now and I'm I'm sure they wish open to coming back I'm sure they're kickings cuz there's been a new character die in introduced and be killed in every season so far Bob Billy there's always got one of these characters and I thought that I think they thought he was going to be one of them and I think they underestimated how [ __ ] popular he was going to be CU I think I mean yeah again we have to spend too much time but I think there are characters they could get rid of look at this potentially is the last season isn't it well they almost did they just they sent mik out into the desert that's what I mean they had to find things for these [ __ ] characters to do and it's like they so going to kill off a main character even DUS Dustin is just a

sidekick now right well like will right and there's news about will right but and and I mean I guess actually now they've made it not difficult this is not the way not quite what I mean but like I love watching Matt stumble around sensitive issues they couldn't find anything interesting for will to do for Four Seasons right so now like he's getting interesting because we've discovered now that he's gay and he's in love with Mike right so that okay that's interesting finally finally Will's interesting he was interesting in the first season cuz he was gone he was and he was just hovering around and then all season four I was like why is he still in this show and then it was like oh okay they've gone they've found something interesting Dynamics here yeah

yeah but uh but he could have he could have gone earlier and then also um Nancy's boyfriend what's his name which one yeah they almost almost they had him all set up to to get rid of him this season and then yeah never went any he's character was just so boring cuz she's got to end up with Steve last season was quite good he was doing stuff and then no I'm predicting out Steve will be the one that dies come on to kill off Steve man they will they will kill off Steve and see they kill off Steve to save them or something if they're sure they're not going to ever make more he the only instance while they they're K come on he he is the one who will he's the prime candidate to get people talking if they kill him off that's true and I do think a nice little

Arc would occur if he sacrificed himself cuz you know he started off first he said he was a dick yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah just out to get laid Yeah but people loved him and now he's yeah yeah cuz he's great you mentioned will being gay Matt and I assume that you know that he's gay because they explicitly say so in the show um I thought that they did I thought it was quite clear yeah I thought it was very clear they made it perfectly clear abundantly clear I thought they I thought they made it a little on the nose clear to be honest because they would have made it clear in two spots as well I mean he cries he cries when Mike says he's in love with a girl he's he's telling picture of

mik he feels yeah and then his brother sees him checking Mike out and goes you know you can talk to me when you've got issues you can tell me that you're gay right yeah yeah we all know you're gay for Mike so feel free to be open about it yeah um however sleuths on the internet this made me so mad are claiming that they have discovered a secret and the secret is Will might be gay for Mike yeah fan they call it a fan Theory and the actor who plays Will has come out this week and confirmed it like [ __ ] wow he's like yeah you watched the show yeah I found out by reading the

script and then acting that part in the show Tom Holland came out this week and confirmed popular fan theory that Peter Parker is Spiderman no well actually we don't know that after homecoming oh that's true nobody knows in fact who the [ __ ] is Peter Parker I've never heard of that person in any context doesn't have a birth certificate I was just scrolling through articles and I saw this headline that said stranger things Star Noah schnap confirms will is gay and in love with Mike and I was like do we need [Laughter] wouldn't mind asking out [ __ ] myy over there right um what's his name Queen um you reckon you could you reckon you could make that happen you you could

set that up for me and um he screenshotted their private conversation and posted it and was like look DOA cat just messaged me asking if my co-star would go out with her and she's like are you [ __ ] for real that's pretty weird thing to do like what what what if you why not just ask him well I guess she didn't wasn't friends with him publicly in front of everybody on his Instagram yeah he knows now I'm sure he's like okay um but she's come out and said look I I I don't know how old this guy is and I'm assuming he a kid and I'm assuming he didn't do this to be malicious but sure there's [ __ ] rules around publicly that's fairly

private messages yeah and um he's he's apologized he he made public apology while playing her music in the background po just a dick move yeah yeah yeah yeah just rude positive he he had no idea that he was making a social faux par uh so odd though that he would called him out but whatever I know or just figed like a little bit of common sense like it's not like she said something awful and he was like [ __ ] you I'm going to out you on that oh it's one of those things where you sort of you do share the DM but you cross out who it is is and you go like look people are hitting me up for this like that type of thing sure yeah CU maybe was was it's not like he kept getting and he was like oh he probably gets sent dick pics every day

on the on his leg next to his dick that he out yeah yeah what's that next to that dick oh it's a man we watched I think I may just two episodes of a show because um I think I might have mentioned um I usually only watch stuff with Jenna and she watches stuff while I'm playing games sometimes so she watches more shows than I do and this was a show so I I messaged her during the week and asked her if she would rewatch Misfits um so that you could see it for the first time and she said she was willing to she was willing to do that this will probably annoy you though because it's adjacent so the other night we were like um scrolling on Apple TV

and we came across the boys which oh yeah I keep saying that heard good same right and I was like I've seen the I don't think I I said I don't think I care about that but we can put an episode on and if that's confirmed that I don't care about it you know then you can watch it without me was the OG episode no I didn't know there was an OG episode I haven't seen an or episode but uh and only there's one that follows one of the comic books which is very sexual oh it's all very sexual it's all very sexual oh a sexual ory what what are you talking about my favorite episode is where the fish guy accidentally kills a dolphin it's brutal it's it's hilarious Jesus all right [ __ ] spoilers everywhere so anyway I've seen two episodes and it's good I'm

going to keep watching it yeah I didn't mind it but I must say Matt when I finished the first season I was like and they were like there's a second season coming I was like okay we'll see and now they're up to the third season I still haven't watched the second I just there's nothing drawing me back in and I think it's because all the characters are [ __ ] see well I I didn't know what it was I I had a misconception about what it was I thought it was just superheroes of C which it's not it's it's not quite that I mean they are but it's more like what if the were real superheroes and they were all employed by this company because they're all just capitalist [ __ ] kind of thing it's more like you know like if Hollywood was superheroes kind of thing or or you know

like if superheroes Incorporated exactly yeah and so they're like they do things not because it's good but because it's good publicity or because you know they need more eyes on their Facebook page or whatever and it's like oh okay interesting okay yeah so what I'm talking about is in season 3 there's there's a comic book series called herogasm which you just going to tell us more spoilers for the show that I've just asked you not to tell me spoilers about so at the end of season 3 when yeah wait hold on hold on if the ory and who gets [ __ ] at the OG is a spoiler I'm definitely interested in watching more of this show if this is not just some scene if this is like when you find out who gets [ __ ] at this

that one that just had all the spoilers I thought that was quite funny and then I wore it once and really annoyed people so I I stopped wearing it like legitimately annoyed people I I don't understand why people get annoyed I do I sort of do understand but then it hasn't doesn't ruines actually I don't know enough about the show to get that I think people actually like hear hearing a spoiler so they can complain about it they make big SC about how you've told yeah spoilers are fun I the I don't mind getting I mean big twists made I don't want to get spoiled jokes I definitely don't want to get spoiled like if you tell me all the funny bits of a [ __ ]

movie that you think I should watch and then I watch it and you've told me all the funny bits so I didn't laugh like [ __ ] you I do that when I'm drunk I'll be like and he's like and the next day I well next day I do this every time I get drunk I wake up in the morning I go what did I say yeah yeah me too yeah and everyone's like no no you were fine and I'm like I believe it I wasn't fine enough for me yeah I might have been my stands are higher than yours again I'm doing it again Matt what what was the story somebody wanted you to watch platoon um and they were telling you that there was a part that they always cried in and then they sat and watched you waiting for you to cry it was so it was uh a I

could I think it's probably fine it was Clayton's XY wife Lisa right oh and her new boyfriend right after they split up right after they divorce you just started hanging out with Clayton's ex-wife's new husband mind blown one time Dan because of the story just told one time I hung out with never again so she um she was a good friend um so we we hang out couple times and then one time I went out and then he came and met up with us we were had drinks went back and he was like have you seen platoon and I said no I haven't seen platoon he was

like you haven't seen platoon and then so we go back to their place and he gets like gets a bottle of whiskey out and he and I sitting there drinking whiskey and Lisa's like I'm going to bed [ __ ] this so she goes to bed and then he's he he was very drunk but he put the movie on and he was like every anything that was going to happen he was just telling me it was about to happen and then like watching my reaction like watch this watch this watch this that's the worst he's going to shoot him oh doesn't that and then he's like what you doesn't yeah you don't seem you don't seem to be like as affected by that as I as I thought and I was just like this is the [ __ ] worst experience I've ever had watching a movie that's great I um I want to do a

podcast with my mother-in-law right um she she if she ever met Lance heinrikson he would say to her there's only one person who's watched almost as many movies as you and that's Matt ham you've watched more she she goes and sees everything at the movies by herself she sees everything brand new as soon as it comes out she goes during the day so she sees things on the first day um she always comes and tells me about them and and but her perspective on them is always so uniquely hilarious or hilariously unique that I always think it would be funny like I said she saw Top Gun right now I haven't seen it Luke you saw it right great movie yeah so everyone's saying it's Classic Hollywood spectacle great you know everything I

was like what' you think she was like why do I care if a plane flies here or a plane flies there that was her review you knew that was going to be the movie going in it's Kyle bton so that's yeah nothing about characters nothing about the spectacle of it and the you know the cinema scope just like why do I care for plane fights here this is this is not her telling us why she didn't want to see it this is her having just seen it and this was no forced to know she went on her road yeah yeah um have you seen that there's talks about them making a sequel to it already oh I'm sure there is a three bottom gun yeah and it's s of like no yes this did well but the next one's just really used to to Luke Luke is using his his business acument again he's like if

you've made enough money to be happy and you're happy with the product just stop there Hollywood Machine have you seen that Twitter account you just made me think of this D there a Twitter account it's called um best movie lines and they're all made up but there's it's like fake screen grabs from movies and it's Top Gun and Tom Cruz is like hand me that gun no not that one the one up there the Top Gun it's like Top Gun so funny yeah that's excellent I've ruined it for there's a similar there's a similar Twitter account that does history on this day it might even be called on this day but they they have real historical events but the wrong

image but and it's just funny like they they say on this day Margaret Thatcher was inducted as the prime minister of Britain but it's got a picture of Scully from season one of the xfile sure you know what I mean it's just yeah yeah yeah a great example I would be tickled by I'm trying to use Twitter I still don't get it no no no no I I do spurts of Twitter oh where I go I'm going to do Twitter twit it all over me and I write I post like a bunch of stuff and then nothing for two years and then yeah true or Chie I've notic you guys occasionally decide to post stuff on the multiple nasm Twitter for a day and then nothing again I'm just not I think I always think about it Go yep I'm going to do something every day just to do it and then I go I really don't want to just say nothing

people don't think that and a lot of you could have you could have definitely gotten some people on board if you had chosen a franchise that actually was [ __ ] cuz there's plenty of them but you you picked the one that's actually very good yeah I think what you mean is you've not seen them yeah you're not interested in superhero movies and that's fine they're not for you actually that's yeah that's a different opinion the death of Cinema or whatever and actually the the Distributors of the Marvel movies aren't sitting around going how do we get men in their 70s to go and watch these [ __ ] Marvel movies yeah you're you are not the Target demographic there that's and also you would probably get the ticket for free to go so you're really not the

demographic the thing though in in defense of Mickey Rock I don't think he just went around going I've got something to say about Tom Cruz I think he was asked about this by an interviewer and I think people get published all the time making comments about things they would never normally have brought up what do you think about Tom Cruz don't give a [ __ ] about him mate Mickey Rock doesn't give a [ __ ] about Tom Cruz yeah it's like when they ask feel he mention that he didn't you asked him yeah yeah like why would would you be interested in being the next James Bond or something Mick wants to be the next James Bond exactly you think about starving kids in Africa I haven't really thought about it Mickey Rock doesn't think about staring in

Africa all right I hate clickbait I know I hate the entire internet yeah what's like James gun weighs in on things there was that period where James gun was weighing in on everything and it was just that people were like what do you think about this and he's like I don't know and then they're like James gun doesn't know anything about it okay that's right yeah day three no change James gun still no opinion he has heard of it now cuz we asked him about it yeah we've been pestering him yeah uh I watched also I've been watching only the M's in the building season 2 it's very good oh that on now y okay I don't talk about too much return to form still still good cuz season one was a surprise hit

so it is good there's some I've laughed out loud several times it's still good it's still Charming it does have uh it's got more cameos right it's got some of the same cameos and it's got more and I'm I'm a little bit like okay don't into that for example oh God what's her [ __ ] name the Amy Schumer is in it as herself and I I just oh she just annoys me like not for any particular reason oh no I can't stand I can't stand her well well she's in it uh but she's actually quite funny in it because she's playing an exaggerated version of herself so the only thing I laughed at from Amy Schumer there's a promo for her standup special that she's not in where it's a parody of 12 Angry Men you know the movie about

the jewy that can't decide whether the're killer or not it's it's 12 Angry Men but it's full of celebrity actors and they're all arguing they can't agree whether Amy Schumer is hot or not and it was pretty funny okay well in this she moves into Sting's old apartment okay and so she's the new sting character I me it's not really spoiler and then so she's she's in it she's not in it a lot so far but she's just kind of hovering around I'm assuming she has some relevance I guess but um but there there are other cameos and people popping up a lot of stuff does but I mean it's not good it's just and and the plot is getting a little more convoluted okay that's the other problem I have with it is that the the I thought the first season was good

cuz it was quite simple it wasn't really about this like complicated mystery as such it was more these like bumbling funny characters solving that was like in the end fairly straightforward in a way you know whereas now it's getting a bit more convoluted that's the problem when sleeper hits become successful everyone wants on board did you guys ever watch staged the show that Michael Sheen and David Tenant made on their own during that's were getting people to go through and re no was that the one where react School Musical or something no no this is just it's it's tenant and Sheen having Skype conversations um and talking about how when's over they going to put on a play and it's them talking about what it is

and it's very funny Charming they play themselves um and it's very good and they just made it themselves they made it up on the spot and um and then they BBC I think it was or Channel 4 put it on and it was [ __ ] massive success so season 2 has [ __ ] Samuel LJ Jackson in it and Judy Den like and it's just yeah yeah it's just like n that you've you've lost what was good about the first season I got to watch that first season but but also only m is getting a third season they've announced yes I just saw that in I debate that's already confirmed which is good it worries me a little bit because it's like second Seas going off thead oh so there's another murder spoiler well that's what the show's about isn't it well you've if you've watched the first

season you know that there's another murder oh yeah that's true cuz yeah so that's so might maybe it's going to be like Murder She Wrote where it's like can we just stop inviting Angela Lansbury to our remote island because someone will get killed keep killing each other yeah well she always solves the murder it's true yeah suspicious but it's it was always suspicious cuz like Columbo where it's like he's a cop he gets called in no matter what he doesn't necessarily just stumble he doesn't want to be there it's quite yeah he's often annoyed he hasf ex go through the whole rigar ra his wife wants him to be at home yeah his dog's in the car waiting for him barking that's right [ __ ] love kbo uh did you watch

the Monsters trailer no I just saw come I did as well and I should we watch it right now so that we can talk about it yeah go on I am okay I'm doing it now I'll pop it on again far down I have to [ __ ] scroll here we go have to turn it off that looks ridiculous I don't know what I was expecting but the the main thing people keep saying is like cost $40 million whatever that is [ __ ] me I could sort of understand that question I I quite like Rob Zombies films I don't know that I'll bother with this one I I I honestly didn't know it was it like going to be it was a movie I thought might might have been like a sort of short TV series

I'm it's a prequel to the show like wow wow I know he said he was like no no this is not going to be like what I usually do I'm just going to do it straight up like the old show and I guess I didn't certainly looks like the old show I know well the problem is there are people commenting saying I've seen the old show and the old show was good and this doesn't look good so no this doesn't look good but I mean this is what I remember about the show was it's just like somebody saw The Adams Family and went can we cash in and do a slap STI version of this MH so anyway I I just I don't even know what to think about it it's just so

weird yeah and other people like make another movie maybe it's a prank right and we're going to watch this trailer and people are going to go to the movies and then it's just going to be [ __ ] he's going to be ripping people in half and like yeah yeah yeah it is possible that would be amazing like remember what was what's his name when he did uh um house dead where he sort of had like the film sort of serious and then now do something ridiculous MH i' I'd love it if all of that trailer was in the first 10 minutes and then it's a brutal disgusting Rob Zombie Masterpiece after that ibly it's nice he's trying something new sure yeah I mean if if he just loves the monsters and he just wants to write a

little love letter to a show he loved as a kid fine I'm glad it's not love letter every that's the main thing main comment I saw was like people going [ __ ] it looks like a high school play yeah and the performances are yeah well I mean that's what the show was but I remember I was about to say I think over the top yeah yeah yeah you're probably right and honestly I think a lot of the money probably just went to their makeup yeah yeah and the lighting and Prosthetics smoke Mach I mean it's it's yeah a lot of SM Million worth the smoke machines I mean it's not like it's got a lot of a-listers in it no don't I to think wow before we head over to the Afterparty I have to ask luk

a very important question okay would you go without eating meat for the for the day if you're going to give Nelly Portman a kiss because she's vegan I should clarify why um probably not do I have to give it up to be able to kiss her or is it just me being nice she's not going to kiss difficult for you just to not have a a cheeseburger actually no no I'll be quite fine I can I don't need to eat meat but he would anyway because [ __ ] her I see how I just thought this was charming and it just goes to show apparently Chris Hemsworth is a is a good dude he a lovely man he didn't have to do this he just he like you know she's vegan in

fact but evidently we all know she wanted him too but part of his diet for being Thor is basically he has he was Diet was eating a lot of meat and eating it like every hour type of thing yeah I'm sure he only skipped one of those mini meals I thought that he wasn't allowed to kiss women in films says who no says his wife I think I think footage of him kissing women in other movies is him kissing his wife shot from behind okay I didn't know that well I mean clearly that's it's not the case in in in this you know what imagine that is always but he like not this time honey not this time yeah yeah maybe when yeah they were like oh you can have won you

know you won you want what do they call that your your allowance or whatever that is yeah yeah your pass you know your celebrity whatever which I guess is a little different when you're an actor and he was like SM Portman and she was like you've been in movies with her and he was like oh yeah yeah yeah I know it could also maybe also maybe just the fact that this was filmed during Co and his wife wasn't allowed on Seth maybe mhm yeah so sort of there's nothing I can do I nor never wife suck my dick too but uh she's not here Chris not allowed to [Laughter] kiss I mean all this says is that he just stopped eating meat so that he could pass on with n p hold on hold on let me find let me find this Chris

Hemsworth kiss wife I thought he was vegan for a little bit uh what's that uh I found it Chris Hemsworth's wife stood in for Natalie Portman during the original Thor's kisses oh there you go I'll say this I'm just got I've seen a picture of Chris emsworth's wife and I kind of understand why he's like Natalie Portman I'd rather kiss my wife yeah she's like a a personal trainer she is he he was vegan uh he was vegan until he became a body while back but then he needed to become enormous I guess so yeah and I think that part of it is he needs to become enormous

quickly yes cuz obviously Natalie Portman had to bulk up too but she obviously did it in a in a vegan way yeah I saw think about that that said that she had um she had to eat a lot of like uh protein supplements plant protein yeah mhm yeah yeah what I love most about this though is that Christian Bale who is famous for getting in various shapes for movies was like not going to bother I'm not going to stand next to Chris H I was say you seie I'm in shape as well well no matter what happens I'm going to look like [ __ ] that's right yeah going looking at me [ __ ] awful have you guys seen it yet love and thunder no no it's not out I do want

to yeah it's it's it's not a bad movie I think one thing that sort of came out that sort of shocked Chris hemworth and um Tiki why TI I can never pronounce his name right is but it comes up at the end that th will return yeah okay I think that was a bit of a surprise to both of them oh really oh well they they' both only said they'd do it if the other one does it so they should just both hold out for more money well luk just told he doesn't die in this movie well Chris H or the director um it puts him in a very good negotiating spot doesn't he it does like you've already confirmed I'm going to be there so Annie up maybe Dave maybe they'll get Dave Batista to play Thor now he said he wouldn't be Drax anymore didn't say TIG Naro I watch TIG Naro was

Thor that would be amazing or Christopher Plumber Christopher Plum yeah CGI as Natalie Portman being kissed would you go without meat for a chance to kiss Christopher Plumber Luke I'm going to say no on that cuz I don't know who that is cuz he's that's why that's why he's like I'll kiss him but I need to know what he looks like before depends on deci I'm going to not eat a cheeseburger no he he's he's he's not for me even young he's dead even uh like a Sound of Music ear or Christopher Plumber very handsome very incredibly handsome well definitely not ifus in the S of music I hate that show what okay a it's not a show it's a film I hate that movie why why hate that movie The harrowing true story of a of

a [ __ ] widower who marries a nun and then they have to escape from the Nazis that's just [ __ ] drama that you can't make up lot singing you know he hates Nazis yeah never understood why just a lot of singing it's not for me not enough spaceships there's some but not enough um enough no what I love about that movie you're right Luke it is like balls to the wall musical comedy and then halfway through they're like and then the [ __ ] Nazis come and then it's just a thr until the end like bed knobs and Broomsticks without the Thriller yes yeah no B yeah yeah cuz they're still kind of Comedy the Nazis are fighting skeletons and things yeah and yeah yeah animated armor kicking him in the butt

yeah I love that movie bednob and Bru is a fantastic movie yeah I love that one that would be on Disney plus wouldn't it probably has to be maybe Porter Bell Road porell Road street where the riches of Ages are stowed anything and everything a chap can unload is sold off the Barrow at Portell Road we're quite familiar with it I don't like singing have you guys seen a movie from the 70s same kind of era yeah Star Wars not Disney I don't think it's called The Amazing Mr blundon Terrible name great movie no singing one of the best ghost St stories ever put to cell yeah now they remade it recently and it's ridiculous so ignore but seriously if you get a chance the old
