literally had the he was still pumping full of Kine at that time let's see how he is next week correct yeah and the ketamine goes directly into the part of the body that is hurting okay right it's not like he's just got a drip in his arm like you normally have they've literally hardwired him up to the drugs now wow into straight into his leg straight into the leg wow but he was at peace fascinating he looked like a Buddhist monk when I walked in he's like hello Daniel he started reading has he yeah he took off his glasses didn't know I needed those hasn't come up I haven't looked at anything uh no yeah let's say he's doing fine we've been chatting to him um he's I think tomorrow they're letting him go home or we've been chat we've been

chatting to him this morning too he just can't record with us yeah exactly yeah so they I think they're letting him out today perhaps yeah they're letting him out a bit later today yeah so he'll be here next week hopefully hopefully he's worked out how he's getting home from the hospital no I did offer a lift at one point and he said no no no no he drove there didn't he so he probably thought he was driving home but I don't know that's he got driven he got driven down all right all right okay cuz there's someone smart I don't know to get driven back is what I'm saying right oh we can assume the sensible person who dropped him off will probably pick him up probably yeah thank you sensible person for all you do you know who you are the listeners know who you are too I'm just

being everyone knows yeah yeah speaking of cars Matt something I wanted to ask you about tell me about your car we got a new car and I know that I talked up the uh the process because we were going to be getting get from a vending machine and all that uh I guess they don't do that now Cu uh that is so disappointing yeah I don't know so just to just to recap they were going to give you a giant novelty coin yeah yeah you can look this up people this did happen and I swear there was one of these in Rhode Island at one point I cuz I saw it but I think because of Co and all that [ __ ] the company that that was doing it Carana hit some financial trouble so they're just not doing it anymore from what I can tell and the place I mean we

still got the car and the car's great all you know thumbs up all good but we just went to an office and I talked to a man who was very friendly the process was very easy was all good but okay but no vending machine that's a shame and and no novelty coin no no and I was like should we just call this whole thing off right that's right do we even need a second car oh no we shouldn't because the car that we do have is is lit the engine lightss on smoke coming out of it and it's like yeah no that's a problem yeah so did you go for the atlas in the end yes yeah we got the atlas y so we don't have that here so we've got cuz I drive the the Tiguan which is the medium siiz that Volkswagen make but then the only one size above that here is the T egg and um I don't know whether that's

what you call the atlas whether that's just been rebadged or whether there's just different oh T I see it uh no I think there's different actually just looking at the atlas the atlas looks more like the Jeep sure it's got It's got that kind of tank yes square that is nice that is nice what color did you get it's white it's like a kind of crisp white yeah it's very crisp yeah it's very nice it's very nice and it said on the list the listing cuz the thing with carvani is um this car was in stop saying caravana sorry it was in Virginia right that's where that's where it lived before oh okay and they brought it up for us right um and so you don't get to actually see it really until the day you pick it up and we've got seven days to like to

basically just walk away from it within seven days if we want to just the door open okay poor choice of words what I mean from the deal I mean not from the car where is it somewhere off highway I walked away from it I know but um and on the in the photos it said there was a dent right which and because the price was pretty good and I assumed oh the price must be because it a dent and Jenna and I have both seen the photo and we now have the car it's here at our house we inspected it on the day we still cannot find the [ __ ] Dent so that's great I don't know if that was a mistake or what's going on but there does not appear one day you'll find it and you'll be like oh okay the dent is in the [ __ ] somewhere in the engine causing massive problems oh yeah

right that's fair yeah cuz I I was like well if it's got a dent that's kind of better right cuz then it won't hurt as much when it gets one cuz it will get one that's right yeah yeah uh do you have the the third row of seats yes I'm just looking it yeah oh that's great yeah but they fall like they fall right down into so that's your boot as well and it's got Captain's chairs in the the middle row which is like the normal back row which means they're both they're like they've got arms they're like kind of like couch chairs yeah right it's kind of like a van almost when you said Captain's chairs I assumed you meant they swivel I don't they swivel but you look up like Atlas Captain's seat Captain's

chairs yeah you can see a photo you'll see what I mean they're they're really cool cuz you can I can can put lra in there in one of those seats and people can still get in and out around her from the back row and stuff like that oh wow that's great yeah yeah it's anyway it's cool yeah that's nice no according from all I can see this car is not available in Australia period well a lot of the big ones aren't right cuz we have stupid big cars here sometimes sure like cuz I think the biggest because we have the previous car was we had an X5 and I think that's the biggest BMW right here there's the X7 it's even bigger oh really I've never even seen an X7 yeah 100% you only see the x5s yeah right well there you go it's like too bigger I like the X4 though it's the one with the

kind of cutaway back it's like technically Slimmer but it's got that Coupe shape oh yeah so it just looks like a massive Coupe rather than an SUV yeah yeah no I like I like the X5 but it's like I said it's got some serious problems right now and expensive to f from what I yeah when I did the uh tradein thing on it at first it came up and it the price was pretty good and I was like oh cool and then it was like okay fill in the details how many miles on it and I put 170,000 mil on the price went right 300 bucks it's like w [ __ ] it I'm serious $300 yeah wow so it's still sitting in my driveway I don't know what to do with it oh is it okay yeah yeah you definitely get more than $300 as a as a

private sale yeah wait some to drive said the engine light is on and we talk to a mechanic and he's like I don't think you're going to want to pay to fix what is wrong with that like it's just so we just got to figure out what to do with it that is not good news it's like a big paper weight a big German paperweight I remember when I had my hold in Astra and sometimes when you put your foot on the accelerator um nothing would happen and I took it to two different mechanics that said as far as we can tell there's nothing wrong with this car and I'm like there is though there is you're telling me it's supposed to not work cuz that shouldn't happen yeah right the accelerator is the one that makes it go faster yeah we agree on that right yeah the one that does

nothing go at all it's the it's if it's the drive button so anyway disappointing news but uh about the coin and the vending machine exciting news about the car like honestly yeah it's so it's fine it's just I was hoping I'd have a video I don't do you have a car seat in your truck as well or is is this the designated take we have like a a nicer one in in that car and then in my truck we put the one we bought a travel one that we brought to Australia oh sure and so instead of swapping now I just put that in my truck so it's like a like a cheaper lightweight one but I literally I basically I pick her up from daycare in the truck two days a week and that's the only time she's really in that car she goes in the other car I was uh crapping on semi joking semi-serious

about getting a little sports car at some point oh yeah and uh H was like sure you can get a sports car providing it's got a back seat and back doors and can have a baby seat that's what Jen told me that's exactly the same thing j told me it narrows it down though it really Narrows the down yep yeah I was told the same thing [Laughter] women I mean completely Val to do completely valid parental duties yeah yeah I tried to this would be me driving it when I don't want to feel like someone's Dad when I want to forget I have a family that's right when I want to pretend I'm a rich 20-year-old it's so funny because you the only cuz ever since I've started wanting a sports car and I assume it's because I'm

middle-aged now CU I never used to give a [ __ ] so it must be it must be yeah but ever since i' I've I've wanted one I've been hyper aware of of everyone that I pass on the street right and and there's only two types of drivers Rich 20-year olds yeah and guys in their late 40s or early 50s who can finally afford the car they wanted when they were 20 I um I've always liked cars to a lesser degree and I always wanted like a you know like a Dodge you know Challenger or or something like muscle car I've always liked those I think because of Mad Max and all that but now yeah I've got more of a like I I look at the Ferraris and the eston Martins and stuff and I covered those in a way I didn't used to yeah I saw an Alpine the other day I've never seen one in real life before I

don't think I have wow it was [ __ ] I took I took a lot of pictures of it and then the guy walked out and I was like oh I'm taking pictures of your car it doesn't I when I was we were at Bondo when we were in Sydney and there was a Ferrari park there and I was like like two like a couple things it was parked at like the front spot at the beach where everyone could see it and I was like how early do you have to get there to park your Ferrari like this whole whole day got to have been planned around the fact that he just wanted everyone looking at his Ferrari at the beach and then I was like I'd like to take some photos but I don't want to annoy anybody I'm like he wouldn't have [ __ ] parked it there that's what he wants exactly if he

didn't want look at take photos yeah so yeah yeah it might as well have a bumper stickers that says tag me when you post pictures on social media wanted yeah yeah um I saw a Ferrari super super old um 308 when I was in uh the garage a few weeks ago putting my car in for a service um but I'll say this though cuz I was like walking around at salivating um but then you look inside and you're like this is an old [ __ ] car you know like this would not be nice to drive there's no power steering right yeah like the mag Pi one yeah doesn't have past hearing or anything what do you want what's your what's your what's your dream car

um uh jeez I don't know I like the Aston Martins I do I like uh I still would like a challenger or something like that mhm it's just I'm I'm I'm torn now because on the one hand I'm like I would love one of those on the other hand I'm like it's going to cost so much money to maintain so much and you can't drive it all the time yeah exactly you just can't drive it all the time so it's kind of I don't know yeah frivolous yeah probably an ason like a DB uh DB9 or something like that mhm mhm those are nice those are so nice yeah yeah like I always say I forget I think might be db10 the new one or the uh what's the other one the the F1 are the you know those green ones are the safety actually and I tell you actually the

Mercedes they have as the safety cars they're nice too so yeah I tell you though the consumer level Mercedes don't really interest me all that much maybe I'm just not quite at that age very comfortable I bet they are yeah I'll say that for him um they just seem like your dad's car you know yeah well say Jenna's mom's car that's how I know they're comfortable oh sure yeah I've just realized I did not hit record on uh streamyard I don't know if that matter here yeah so same I'm going to hit recorded here and here anyway yeah oh there you go yeah this is why we need Luke I quite like Japanese sports cars um and not necessarily dream car but in terms of like attainable dream cars um there's some some pretty

nice sports cars from Japan um and the Mazda RX7 does have a back seat so you know can't afford one but I'm just saying it's got a back seat RX7 is the one with a the door back doors fold the other way yes correct yeah yeah listeners won't know what I'm talking about look it up no they they go backwards yeah it's because it's almost like they couldn't decide whether they were going to make a coupe or a sedan sure and then somebody said maybe we'll make the smallest yeah so essentially the the front and back doors open opposite ways like a French dooron doors kind of thing yeah yes you could see your entire way into the car right yeah it's pretty cool they're kind of ugly though I sometimes I look at them and I'm like

that's really ugly you know not the doors the whole car I it's just an old shape I like it sometimes and sometimes I don't you just made me think of this is this is not super related you just you you'll know why I am that whole thing I was watching an episode of Pirro and uh you know his made Captain Hastings his his offsider there's an episode where uh you know like there's a a theft and all this kind of stuff and it's revealed that this um this kind of unattractive nurse is actually this very attractive woman in Disguise oh and at the end of the episode Hastings is sitting there looking all like confused and full on and Pyro's like would you like a drink captain isings and he's like no no pyro no I'm really I'm really struggling with some and he's like what is the problem

and he's like well he's that woman I mean she was so beautiful but with simply a wig and some makeup she was able to make herself look positively hideous and I just got me thinking could women do that in reverse and then imagine and then what would you be stuck with Jesus I was like [ __ ] hell all right things all right yeah and Pirro just gives him this annoying look like you're an idiot so a guy I used to work with um but the same guy who took pictures of the bin chickens listeners won't know what I'm talking about but Matt does America listen know what a bin chicken is look it up Google bin chicken I'm yeah I'm not even going to say yeah um he went home with a girl from a bar one night right mhm um and then when they go back

to his house and they start um dressing um he realizes that she has a padded bra oh yeah and and and very small breasts sure and he he gets he gets irate right and um instead of just counting His blessings he starts going oh so I could have been wearing a muscle suit could I and then I'll just take that off now yeah just arguing with her about it yeah yeah false advertising God yeah he was telling me the story and I'm like you're the bad guy yeah you're out of order mate mhm you might want to not tell this story again cuz you actually come across like quite a big

[ __ ] am I the first person you've told maybe we should keep it that way good good good yeah and also do apologize to that person yeah yeah please AP yeah although she'd probably rather just never hear from yeah exactly yeah do her the favor of never speaking with her again that's right um train of thought from poo right to um Belgium no the guy who plays him in the movie uh uh oh used to be married to Emma Thompson oh oh oh oh you mean uh sorry I was thinking of the actor in the show but you mean in the new movies new movies the director right Brer Kenneth brne Brer yeah okay so last night and I can't remember what he was first but

yeah yeah probably he directed those movies that he plays chir right yes yeah yeah um and they're quite good actually they I got to watch them they're not yeah you should you should um David second one was I thought was quite good yeah right um and there's a I don't know if this is in this in the books or in the series or whether it was just made up for the movie but there's a a flashback scene where you find out why he's got that mustache oh yeah yeah I don't know I haven't it's the very start of the movie and it's an excellent scene yeah right but um last night I'd uh we had a long day and I just mowed the lawn and uh I was feeling feeling kind of fatigued in mind and body so I thought just I just want to pop on a movie that

I can just watch you know something that I don't need to think about and I realized it had been a while since I'd put tenet on so I all went with that right sure yeah it's a long movie I only watch the first hour cuz that's that's how I watch movies now is I watch them over two or three nights in in pieces um but this is a movie that gets better every time I watch it yeah I've got to rewatch it okay it's so good um but I've got one question and now bearing in mind I'm only halfway through this watch so maybe they answer it by the end yeah right I've only seen it once go on who who do they work for ah you really want me to tell you do they say who it is yeah yeah I want you to tell me they work for him the

protagonist in the future correct ah okay what okay so he's recruited by his own guys in the past and then so this is one of those time Loops things where it's like but where did it start yeah okay he recruited himself basically this in the future oh [ __ ] yeah I like it even more and that just goes to show I was thinking this time and I don't know if I've thought this before but it is very similar structurally to um primer yeah sure which is arguably the best time travel movie not that this is strictly a time travel movie but they've both got that element of that nothing else has including like Back to the Future and stuff which I love but you don't travel through time you just arrive at a different time whereas

primer sets up no no if you want to travel to the you have to spend the time that you're traveling but going in reverse yeah yeah and this is has a similar premise to yeah except they're interacting with things during that process whereas in primer you have to hide while it's happening in the machine yeah yeah you got to hide from your other self so that he doesn't know um and then you find out that they've gone back already and that they're tricking each other so good and Prime is one of those movies and tenets as well where you're watching it and then you think okay I'm on top of this and then something will happen you're like okay I'm a bit confused but I think I still know what's going on and then at a certain point you're like well I've got

no idea what's going on I got to watch this again cuz I got no or there's some context provided and you go ah [ __ ] I got to rewatch this now now that I know that yeah yeah yeah oh speaking of that uh I did finish penint and I am replaying it I'm up to act two again in my second playthrough and it is even better the second time in a way okay that's great I put it on I put it on I did the kind of I don't know if you'd call it a tutorial the dream that the game starts in and then talking to the lady about my breakfast that's that's all I've done okay a yeah yeah I just I popped it on I've not gotten to whatever you would consider to be the story or anything yet I've just kind of popped it on to have a little look it's bizarre um

in what I think is quite a very intriguing way so I'm looking forward to playing a lot more it's like it's funny because I think I said this before but on paper and even thinking about it now I'm like I don't I don't know what it is that's so compelling about it because it does sound a little bit boring at Parts cuz it's it is about a murder but it's also not mostly it's not about that it's about the relationship between these you know the the the villagers and The Peasants and The Villages and The Peasants and The Abbey and the and just all this it's it's all kind of old y oldie medieval politics but like yes right fascinating for some reason like there something really compelling about it like yeah I do want to play more I kind of wish it was on the switch so I

could kind of it seems like something I would enjoy playing for a few minutes before bed each night um see I thought I at first I was like oh this could be on the switch but then I was thinking about you know when you you if the words underline you hit the button to and it zooms out it to get the contacts I'm like I wonder if it needs processing power that I'm not even appreciating just to do all this visually that looks quite simple but it's not simple really it's quite complicated yeah interesting yeah it's a good point anyway listeners it's a very interesting very beautiful and uh it's a lot of reading though so M mhm but I recommend everybody at least give it a go if you've got game pass you might as well yeah yep I I did and I put on uh I

put on my Xbox is all hooked up now all all set all ready to go and so um this week I played um 10 to 12 hours of uh Conan Exiles change I did cuzz I just man like it's probably next to Civ 5 is probably the game I've played the most and it's not because it's my favorite game or anything it's just so playable like I and I wasn't in the mood I didn't have the time or the brain space to learn a new game to decide if I like a new game or not I just wanted to put something on that I already knew I liked already knew how to do it and there was a big update so there's some shiny new things in there I've buil myself a nice little house I've been doing a similar thing and can you guess

what game I've been playing I don't know if you've spotted Luke probably knows because he he looks at these things I got an achievement I mean there's a couple of games that I think you could jump back into cyber Punk would be a guess that's not it no it's older than that it's much older that no much older than that much older just got an update it just got an update it's still out there coming out on New consoles every day and there's a reason I started playing it again wait not Skyrim correct Skyrim I've been playing Skyrim because Todd Howard was on The Lex Freedman podcast and it was fascinating because he he just asked him some really great questions about yeah you know making the games and I was just like Skyrim is good it is good it is very good but it was some good

technical info on uh on how they do things too was oh interesting I I think about Skyrim sometimes because I've done I think I've mentioned this before but I did my first playthrough where I basically just play through the main story yeah and then I did my second playthrough where I ignored the main story and just did side quests and put just as many hours in but without even learning how to do the dragon calls or anything like just just being and sometimes I think about putting it on again and I I really would like to but at the same time I just think about all those [ __ ] Dwarven cabins and stuff and I'm like I I don't have the time to do all of that there's one thing he mentioned in the interview that I I really thought was interesting

and I guess I knew this but it not I didn't know the specifics of it but it just you know same goes for the Fallout games be those those kind of Bethesda open World Games aren't always as visually good as the most the other recent releases right and I think Y and he said part of that is that they do sacrifice on that in order to have this world that is live is a living breathing world and he was talking about how in Skyrim for example if you're in White Run mhm out from White Run there's like sections where basically people in the world everybody every every everything in the world is always doing stuff and the only thing that changes is how much how

frequently they kind of update right that process they're not being rendered per se correct examp if you're in White Run and someone in marar is sweeping it'll check up on it'll refresh what they're doing once a minute say this is an example I don't think you gave specifics but like as an example once a minute it'll go that person sweeping no now they're going to go to the shops and it's kind of like keeping tabs on them once a minute and as you move across the map like the distance you are from the kind of changes how frequently it's updating that because Suddenly It's become relevant and so it's like oh we better keep track of what they're doing cuz the the the

player might inter now it's updating every second because you could literally watch him do it right because if you walk in they want to have them doing the stuff so it's yeah oh that's so interesting yeah so they sacrif other areas to do that it it it's I always think it's better looking than it actually is sure and when you put it on you're like oh no this is a little unpolished compared to some other yeah more modern games but you you forget to care about that very very quickly because it's just so compelling well he said there there's so many systems and they they prioritize the systems in the world over the visuals sometimes cuz I've um I've been playing and actually this week I haven't played any so I've I've got to get back to but I've been

playing Resident Evil Village oh [ __ ] awesome that is one of the best looking games I've ever seen it's beautiful and what it does very well is make it feel like it's open world and you're exploring but it's not in any way you're completely on Rails like there's only certain places you can even walk but it feels vast like especially when you're walking walking around the village like it it knows where you can and can't go but there's still these beautifully rendered areas that you can look at as you pass by you just can't go there you just can't go in there yeah um but yeah that's a beautiful looking game yeah yeah yeah I love that game there's an expansion for that too that came out I should check that out I did get legitimately frightened by it as

well I don't know if this is the same part that you did cuz are possibly multiple parts and and and it was also I was playing at at night it was dark and I was alone and I just I was under the castle i' i' move the statues to get down through that kind of Fountain of blood down into and I'm I'm literally in a basement that's flooded with blood and just walking around and nothing's happening and I've got a torch it's so creepy and then one of those [ __ ] vampires just dropped from the ceiling into the [ __ ] blood in front of me scared you it scared the living [ __ ] out of me to the point where I was like I'm I'm turning this off listeners who've played it probably will know the bit that I'm talking about cuz I when I

looked afterwards other people had said right that this was just terrifying so it was too much it's just disturbing it reminded me of like Silent Hill where you're like sure disturbed by what you see not even just ter not scared but like combined with the fact that like what is happening like right yeah amazing can't wait can't wait well we've got some game news cuz the game awards were last night were no I didn't watch Luke watched these live um I'm sure he'll have more to say about this yeah so I I just watch trailers as they kind of pop up yeah same I just got the kind of the wrap-up stuff I put some stuff in that caught my eye uh Jedi Survivor looks pretty [ __ ] good Yep looks lovely it looks looks like more of the

same but it actually looks slightly more Polished in a way too like it just looks like a generation above yeah it looks amazing I will uh have eally play that when it comes out in March um it's trailer for that which we'll link to they announced death stranding 2 I haven't played first one I don't no neither have I and it does look interesting but there's a chance I'll never ever play it I just I know we've kind of talked about it on here Luke's played it it looks [ __ ] weird and uh I guess it was successful enough that they made another one so all right yeah yeah uh one that we will play I'm pretty sure is D Awakening There's an actual trailer with some ingame footage and it looks like C and Exiles

but Dune y that's right and now we we did talk about a game a couple of weeks ago that we described as Conan Exiles but June that isn't June starand yeah and I also picked that up and had a bit of a play of that um and thought it was pretty decent um but haven't really given that any time and um if Jun Awakening comes out you know before too long then um I might just focus on this and then I'll never need to play any other game ever again it well it's it's funcom right to the Exile con exile's people so I'm I mean honestly it just looks like that's what it is it's con exil but dude I'm absolutely fine with that yeah yeah right I figured you would be I also bought that other game that you reviewed at the same episode that um where you're a game detective oh yeah

yeah yeah yeah I haven't even that up yet but I I I saw that it was slightly discounted um during the Cyber week sale and so I thought I'll pick that up for the game deck it's called game deck yeah yeah that's a cool game uh Elden ring won game of the year I've not played it I am more convinced to give it a go now though but it's I think it's going to be a time time well it's also available on switch so I'm thinking maybe that's my platform and then I can just yeah I think it's um I think it might be one of those switch streaming oh ilding let me just make sure I'm not talking about I ass I don't see it but maybe you got an oh you know what you know what it isn't and I thought it was because everyone keeps making fake videos of them playing

on the switch why is that a thing CU people are stupid and annoying I wonder I should check maybe it's on sale since it won cuz I would like to check it out it does look pretty [ __ ] good it does yeah and I've heard people say I think actually I think listener Nate said that it gets a bit monotonous towards the end but I'm not going to make it that far into it I bet so maybe I should just give it to go yeah true and also if it's monotony but you love doing that one thing then it doesn't matter yeah that's fair yeah [ __ ] it looks nice though doesn't it MH uh Diablo 4 comes out on June 6th I mean fine yeah I I didn't play too much of Diablo I I must admit I played through

it uh did yeah that was it's been so long though that Diablo I I played I think when we lived together so I had a PC around played I think I played it with Dave a bit it's like it's been a while so this times playload 2 earlier this year just for a bit of nostalgia and it's it's still good you know it got its update and everything so that was but um yeah I just I didn't even play all the way through that either cuz I mean it's very syy sure monotonous it's very monotonous uh and the other game news is very exciting for me is that the Cyber Punk expansion Phantom Liberty uh Stars Idris Elba who I love yeah so and it's not just that he voices it it's it's literally him yeah well I mean I don't think call him Idris but not it's it's

clearly him yeah it's kind of like how Kiana Reeves is John Sil hand Idris Elber is they say the name of the character I think they did Solomon Reed oh that's a great name yeah so yeah I'll play the [ __ ] out of that I I do want to play I mean I've I've played through the first kind of stage of uh cyber Punk twice once when it was buggy as hell and then once after they'd fixed everything and I I think it's very good and I I do want to play it I've just never been in the mood for it to really just give it give it a real proper go I loved it I think it was most my game of the year last year I think it was last year or the year before it's been a while now I'm probably more likely to play Elden

on my list yeah speaking of June um June part two I believe they've wrapped filming now yep against Luke's wishes they have completed part two we will get the full story yeah so I um uh we've got our books at the moment kind of on a on a shelf that we've got adult books or not adult books regular books right not sexual we're just regular books for adults and then kids books beside that yeah um and uh we're going to do Story Time the other day so I told Harper to just go and pick a book yeah so she went over and um she picked dun I was like I would love to read we have to keep uh we we got have some L's books in here because we've had to split her books into two categories books that she can rip the pages out of

yeah and books that books that are mostly just to look at yeah books that are made of like cardboard and then books that she can just instantly destroy and we should keep her hands for a little while so yeah that's right yeah same same so so those the the the paper page books are behind me at the moment um Harper also loves those books with flaps like the spot books where you've got to find things under what she really loves is [ __ ] just tearing those off oh yeah yep yeah oh you hiding under here are you well not any more yep no we've had that problem too the actually the original spot which I think is still the best you know the mom's looking for spot throughout the house and in all the places where she thinks he could be hiding there's a different

we animal right what are these animals doing here well there's there's a snake coiled around the pendulum of a grandfather clock there you go and there's a there's an alligator in the in the grand piano I remember that book I think yeah it's very good it's it's quite good you know but the rest are just excuses to have flaps right sure but um so I've mended uh the original spot with sticky tape so all the flaps are back in and they're reinforced now so they can open and close um but we've got spot down under as well where spot in Australia and there are no Flaps in that there are no flaps so it doesn't make sense now cuz his mom's like I wonder if he's he's here and there's just a bunch of animals sitting there

looking back on no no he's not not here as you can see yeah L has one uh I foret the name of the book specifically it's about basically you write to the I wrote to the zoo to send me a pet they sent me a oh you've got that one yeah and I sent it back cuz it was whatever because it was a [ __ ] line and that's ridiculous and I can't believe they've sent me this line and I was like this is irresponsibly you to send me this P afforded you also I can't afford this yeah I think the first one's an elephant it's like yeah yeah funny yeah no that's that's a good one the one that I've got and I remember this from when I was a kid too is the woman who swallowed a fly oh yeah and it was like that's [ __ ] ridiculous she swallowed us a fly and

then she's like oh is not good I better swallow something that eats FES so she eats a spider and then she's like well the way out is through I'm better eat a [ __ ] bird and then a cat and then a [ __ ] chicken and then a and then but but the one that I had when I was a kid she dies at the end yeah right um not anymore she doesn't die anymore she vomits she vomits all the animals back out still like Jesus yeah but you you notice weird things right so there's Nursery Rhymes being played in my house at the moment right and I'm just kind of catching the words and and just things you don't think of like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star was written at a time where people didn't know what stars were sure as eviden by the fact that it has the line I wonder what you

always like this most of the most of the time they were just in the mailbox when I when I got home but this year I don't know whether it's an to stop them from you know falling into the wrong hands or whatever cuz they're very they're big on that cuz these are things have watermarked with my name and that kind of stuff so and I'm supposed to I think we talked about I'm supposed to destroy them once I've watched them yeah but they get sent by UPS now which means a a person in this case a young man in his car drives him to my house right every day this guy shows up and cuz I'm working at home now can't you get them all sent at once my well that's I was just my dog's us barking and I'm like I wonder what that is I walk out and it's this this this guy

same guy every day just walks and it's just it's just an envelope like a you know one of those flat envelope package things yeah that weighs nothing to him it's got my name on and it's they're always from the I don't I want to say they're from the same place I guess they all get produced at the same place in Los Angeles and he just walks up and he just pops it on the on the front porch and I'm like the [ __ ] is this guy thinking he has to come to my house every day to drop off this some [ __ ] envelope and they all look identical until you open it it's just like a white so I just thought it was funny I felt bad for him but then I guess he's getting paid so he's doing it yeah he gets paid either way I I I think similar with um Amazon although it's a it's a

different driver comes out every time that we don't have a designated Amazon delivery guy but like free delivery I'll buy things just that I would normally have just picked up next time I was at the supermarket sure but I'll get them I'll just get it delivered like I got some pegs the other day like clothes pegs like yeah I'll just order that and like I'm I'm waiting for a call from Amazon going can you just like save these up and then on a Friday do one order so we have this thing here uh do do they make you pick an Amazon day well no I don't think you have to do it they asked me at one point I don't know it's just me they said can you pick an Amazon day and by default we'll always say we're going to I picked Monday by default they are supposed toed in the

last week will come on Monday it'll just be come on Amazon day which is Monday except you would think what that means is I can just order things as I as I think of them which is what I do I go essentially Popp them in a shopping list need little milk boxes for L to take to to school I'll just and get so I'll them and like the Monday except that every Monday we get four [ __ ] trucks from Amazon coming cuz they just all right yeah so they're all processed separately so and I and I I feel bad about that too but I'm like and I want to run out and go I didn't I didn't tell them to do this I tried to organize it so that you could just come once but yeah yeah although I have been impressed once or twice where I've made two separate orders within a couple of

days and they've come in one box and I'm like okay this is proof sometimes yeah yeah it's just often it's like and not only that and then sometimes they'll go oh we shipped it early cuz I guess we had it and it's like okay well I tried okay fine yeah that's right yeah now he has to come to my house the system only works if we all work with the same system yeah yeah and a lot of packaging too if you get a box every day and it's stuff with card paper and and I feel bad about using Amazon except it's just so [ __ ] convenient yeah yeah why wouldn't you and the thing is like I remember at one stage I went shopping for something I could have easily bought on Amazon and it took me hours and I'm walking around I ended up not coming not getting it and coming

home and ordering on Amazon anyway yeah and it's like I'll just start here and also like I can choose exactly what I want it's like you go to a shop and it's like here's the one we have do you want that exact one how we shop anymore it's like um you know they used to say with it was easier to download a movie than to buy it for a long time not so not now but for a long time if you wanted to watch a movie you could either [ __ ] around for how however long trying to figure out how or you could just download a PIR copy of it that's yeah so I feel like with Amazon I go on Amazon I find exactly the thing I want exactly the thing I want and it'll be here the next day or I could go out into the world in my car and maybe I'll find it somewhere and I'll have to [ __ ] Park

and deal with people and [ __ ] around yeah and then you wanted the blue one you'll have the pink one when you come home because that was the one they had and you don't want to come home empty-handed yep speaking of uh big corporations uh you know abusing their power or whatever uh Amazon uh no Amazon Apple have said that they're going to move all the production out of China which is a big deal China do they mean to America or do they just mean they're going to some other yeah so first I was like moving it to America would be a huge deal that would massively impact the prices for sure people don't I don't think people I know a lot of people talk it up like oh you know stuff should be made in America

but like you would have to pay people so much more here than the pittance that they pay these poor people in China and it just it would change things a lot so a lot of this I think most stuff is going to I think some of it's going to Vietnam some of it's going to like some other Southeast Asian countries some chips CPUs and stuff will be made in Arizona which I don't know what impact that will have on the the prices I guess the other thing Apple's margins can probably absorb some of this MH but um but I definitely don't think they could make everything in America and it would and have it be as have it the price be what people are used to I think people underestimate how much more it would cost to do that yeah and I'm not saying that's a good thing cuz it's not a good

thing the reason it's so cheap is because they horribly abuse people in other countries so not saying I approve of it but that's just how the world is right now unfortunately but also there's probably 50,000 people um out of a job now which is also not good right like yes they were they were getting paid shitty wages but that was the only wage they could get and they don't have that Apple paid a lot of money to have first pick of a large number of factories over there and now they're I guess they're just going to let that go so that's yeah I don't know doesn't bode well for little people over there mhm but then again see this is one of those things I don't know enough about it did you say little people I meant little people as in you know the the workers not as in

physically little Dan I wasn't making that's not what I meant you know the the the working people that's what I mean yeah but they're going to get [ __ ] anyway now yeah so threats what I'm saying is you know there these stories about Fox conon people throwing the roof and like like that's how bad it can be working at these factories and now Apple's not going to have them manufacturing their stuff so what the [ __ ] it going to be like yeah yep but that's the thing there's there's just no there's no end there's no right answer yeah yeah because it's like we should pay the minimum wage or then you just won't get it like then like it just won't happen because it like this because you're exploting people that's

but also if you stop those people will starve to death so because they get treated like disposable MH you know in in that country anyway and so now they'll just say go away yeah don't need you anymore no one's looking after the little that we were giving you we will now not give you yeah yeah it's [ __ ] um yeah like the clothing the clothing IND in India it's like you know they've have these horrible factories but at the same time the workers are like I need that $1 a day yes that's $1 more than not having a dollar yeah mhm mhm yeah yeah it's awful the onion did a great video um that was a clothing line um for kids by kids God and it's just like like American kids going I just love knowing

this moon news mhmh it's very interesting it's fascinating the the they caught my eye because I was it it the headline says meet the first civilian crew of the SpaceX mission to the Moon and if you look at this I looked at the photo and I was like those people are going to the Moon these guys they don't look like astronauts rag tag bunch of Y randos they're not astronauts they are celebrities mostly yes they are artists musicians and YouTubers and they're going to the Moon Yeah so this is uh yusaku maawa the the billionaire entrepreneur from Japan and he's put together this team of I guess people he

just likes just people yeah I mean it seems very very Steve AI the DJ U some South Korean K-pop Star uh yeah an artist from the Czech Republic uh some YouTuber Indian actor just a snowboarder bunch of [ __ ] random celebrities yeah and they're going in the the star the Starship the the spaceex thing so cuz why not I mean Fair yeah God imagine this thing blows up oh no like I know that's awful no matter who's in it but in this case in particular I think the reactions to it will be mixed yeah just because it's like what a [ __ ] stunt this is yeah I like his enthusiasm though like I've never seen

this guy without a smile on his face you know and he seems to just really really love the idea of going to the moon so good on him oh but of course I would love to do this but yeah yeah but unfortunately I'd probably like to be third or actual as people yes yeah definitely definitely I mean I won't even I I won't even early adopt a new operating system for my computer you know what I mean I definitely don't want to go on the first man Mission somewhere so they're not paying for this they're going for free like this is been covered by I guess by the billionaire yeah my question Matt are these 10 people piloting the shuttle or is is there astronauts on there who actually know how to drive it the implication is that these are the people who will be

crewed by these artists and athletes I mean they're going to need a lot of training like they're going to have to stop doing whatever their jobs are I think the point of this is I I think a lot of the stuff in this ship is supposed to be hands off ground control exactly because this is this is like SpaceX this is the future of space flight blah blah blah so maybe they don't have to do anything yeah which honestly it's probably better if the computer does it oh yeah definitely definitely not that I doubt you know Steve aoki's ability to fly a spaceship but how long does it take to get to the moon is it quicker now than it was in the ' 60s you know like do do rockets go faster now or I don't know I don't mean is it closer is it slow closer it's a

wrong it didn't go well in either of these two fictitious cases but like the movie Moon where you're supposed to have like a one-year shift on the moon except spoilers it was not that yeah he's not going home he's not going home um or even um Umbrella Academy where his dad sent him to the moon like the two examp of when this Happ if you could go for a year and then come home cuz I've always thought I could do those jobs like like lighthous keeper you know or research scientist in Antarctica where you you I think I could have done that and then they bring you back now I've got stuff going on yes we can't do it now but no but but yeah no no definitely when I was when I'd finished high school I could have done that stuff I reckon M
