saying might not happen again you I also rented a server for us play on all right the server yeah all right no it's awesome because like I just went in there this afternoon I had a couple of hours and uh it's usually just kind of wandering around and you know just doing your own thing and it's still that but uh but I saw Luke there so that right nice it was kind of like that time I was in New York City and saw Luke there you know yep yep I just rock up in random places yeah yeah building a house in Central Park and there he was so uh Luke I've put a couple of other uh little boxes in there with some stuff uh if you want to go through Matt I've put you a little bed in there little bed roll on the floor that you can use um you are going to need a place

to sleep I did try and play this game once and uh got just murdered and didn't really understand uh if you jump on when I'm on I can come and get you all right and bring you to the house all right great that would be great cuz there seem to be your base set up it's actually quite easy because if you die you just go back to your bed okay like real life yes yeah we have it set to that it it doesn't always do that what normally happens I've said it pretty easy Well normally uh your body uh just drops where it is with everything still on it and then you just end up right out in the desert again and have to make your way to your corpse to find all your [ __ ] but I hate that because that just ruins the fun sure so at the moment if I die I don't lose any of my stuff on the Sur

good everyone's saying it's it's more of a Star Wars than Rogue one even huh and Ron Howard reshot 70% of it because they were trying the way they made what's it the the Lego movie guys tried to make it different and then he went back and was like n let's just make don't make it different don't make it different and Ron Howard I kind of see him as an unofficial member of the uh the author of this article is quick to point out that um because Ron Howard is so talented he uh he shot scenes that took the other two several days to do in only a matter of hours I just like to point out that rushing it like that doesn't necessarily mean he's any better but uh but he probably just well

he also had a lot shorter time frame because they didn't change the release date for this movie yeah probably he also just said you know what just do it like in the script yeah how many [ __ ] movies has he made now I think he probably knows how to do it real quick if he needs to you know yeah okay now I've been looking at the Toys for new Solo movie okay and I can explain what the front of the ship is now oh yeah it comes off does it I bet no um so skip ahead if you're worried about this being a spoiler I bet you'd put your dick into a Lego Millennium Falcon wouldn't you it's the Escape pod oh okay okay so that front part that now on it is meant to be an escape pod and so why is it a different shape stupid

the um traditional I could be wrong about that maybe it is just an illusion yeah once once the Escape pod shoots off though no but you're losing the front yeah know but I'm talking about the the the spherical section of it it's it's elongated versus the um the you know what this doesn't matter [ __ ] forget it no yeah I'm just saying I've seen toys where it shoots off as an escape pod if this is a good movie I won't give a [ __ ] about that and that that is the truth make as long as it's a good movie I'm feeling positive about it now I've flip-flopped on this I still am not we'll see yeah we'll see man literally will yeah and we don't have that long too I mean I know uh seeing it this week um I'm seeing it next week uh yeah I'll probably see got two weeks I'll see next

week I think I [ __ ] got to go get it see it with my movie pass before they cancel that oh yeah we knew that that was a dream that was uh too beautiful to last didn't we listeners if you so they've finally gone bankrupt well listeners who don't know over here there's this new thing came out movie pass I was around for a bit but they they drop their pricing down I pay $10 a month and I can see as many movies as I want uh one a day and I go just go to a theater and see movies as long as they're in 2D and they're not like special screenings or anything and I was like [ __ ] I'll have that that it's not going to hang around so I signed up and I've been using it successfully for what's it been like six months maybe more now since I mentioned it and uh

yeah it's been a while yeah apparently they just uh released financial information the other day and uh they burn through 22 million odd dollars a month paying theaters uh and they they have about 15 million left in the bank so solo may be the last film I see using that we'll see how it goes yeah it's not going they putting new restrictions too now um I used to be able to see movies more than once I saw blade runner 2049 a couple times with it now you can only see a movie once and uh you have to upload a photo of your ticket in the app after you see a movie because people [ __ ] idiots were just using them to buy other stuff and like what you know what do you mean buying other stuff so let's say you because what the way it

works is it's like a charge card so I go to I go to the theater you got to be within 100 feet of the theater and then you go I'm going to see solo at this time and it goes all right you are at the theater all right and then they transfer the money to pay for the ticket onto the the master card that you have and then you pay for the ticket with it that's how it works pretty it works pretty seamlessly uh and then they have to pay the theater full price and then I don't have no [ __ ] idea what their business model was beyond that because it doesn't really make any sense to me but sure there was one I don't know what they were it works well in theory it's the same way as you get like a drinks package for a wedding parties and stuff I think they thought maybe they could

talk the theaters around to discounts or sell dat about what people were doing maybe it's because the the the cinemas make more money off concessions than they do off tickets so they thought that actually wouldn't affect their bottom line well the problem is a lot of people would sign up for it and then never use it well the problem is people would go uh order two of them say this is one example of abuse that I saw on Reddit that people were saying they were proud of the fact that they had done this and I was like [ __ ] stop it you're going to ruin it they would get two of them uh checking in a one by ticket check in on the other one and use the money to buy popcorn and drinks and then ah or if the theater is

in a shopping center go walk over to the theater check in and then just go buy lunch at the food court like don't [ __ ] do that you're going to ruin you [ __ ] it yeah so don't do that just go see a movie with it you're already ahead it's not like you you know 10 bucks a month guys come on you know how much money it's costing me to go see solo 80 bucks jeez that's for two tickets and I refuse to see movies with people anymore so I go to the private small Cinema that has like 10 seats yeah so you can take your C in with you or your your Han Solo My Han Solo yeah if I order it now it would be here in time there you go quite fast delivery I was impressed by that well they an Australian

company oh uh another potential spoiler for solo Mark Hamill dropped by accident the other day apparently if you don't want to know about this I mean it's not not I don't think it's really a spoiler it's not it's not a bad spoiler it's not like a [ __ ] you for telling me that it's about a cameo in the film um so but skip ahead 30 seconds if you don't want to hear it uh Mark Hamill revealed the other day he was talking about how Anthony Daniels is very proud because he's the only actor who's been in every single Star Wars film and then he said including Rog and solo and then he went oh [ __ ] I don't know if I was supposed to say that so he has not been in every single one there are two movies he has not been courage and battle for indor car of courage and battle for indor yeah I don't think they

count oh they count I'm not sure they do they do in my books yeah your books don't count either no no they really don't well anyway hopefully he doesn't have a [ __ ] conversation with anyone in this movie if he's in the background that's stupid but fine but hopefully he's not oh hello Han Solo like [ __ ] you reckon they'll ever do a movie about why Obi-Wan pretends he doesn't recognize R2-D2 even though they were it was his [ __ ] droid for like 30 years that makes no sense I think they are doing um yeah I don't seem to remember ever owning a Droid [ __ ] off mate what are you talking about it's your for it's me it's R2 I [ __ ] rode on the back of your [ __ ] little ship he's he's G scile in the desert maybe they'll reveal that in the Obi-Wan movie that they're going to pump

out next next couple years yeah they're doing that right that's another one I'm still scared about are I don't think they've officially announced it but they will well you and McGregor turned up to the solo Premiere so uh you know he's making friends yeah he's at least trying to get his foot in that door that's for sure but if they do make it it has to be him you cannot get anyone else to come and do it that'd be crazy Alec Guinness's probably not up for it at this point he he wasn't up for doing any of the sequels could be sponsored by that'd be all right that' be all right there they sell uh I forgot the [ __ ] name of the it's a Star Wars kind of Charity thing uh that's at all the conventions over here they sell Alec Guinness

illegal that it's called The Purge it's that movie where they make everything legal for one day um no to do with driving and uh I didn't I was like kind of like oh I guess it doesn't really apply to me it was it was to do with mobile phone usage and driving and and I I was like I don't really I don't use my phone when I drive anyway so doesn't really apply but then I got curious this is Rhode Island state law uh I'm just going to read this to you and you give me your thoughts on this mhm Rhode Island is about to go handsfree when it comes to drivers and cell phones a new law will prohibit any driver use of handheld wireless communication devices what is not allowed a driver won't be able to hold a cell phone or other wireless device

while operating a vehicle how does it work if a police officer observes you holding your phone or talking or texting while driving you'll be pulled over and you could be fined up to $100 now you know why this surprised me mhm I could have been on my [ __ ] phone already yes already a law everywhere else in the world yeah yeah in America that hasn't been a law in a lot of states for quite some time that's bizarre man I I just you're still alive though I can't believe they had to actually enforce a law that's like hey when you're driving a car don't do other stuff that's not driving a car that uses your hands or eyes in Australia cuz I write a scooter now the amount of people I see on phones now it is unbelievable well I see people

here on phones all the time and I was like you [ __ ] idiot apparently that's apparently it's fine until June 1st and I I'm I'm the [ __ ] idiot cuz apparently I could have just been on my phone as well so weird I think there's some states over there where you if you're under 18 you can't be on your phone but the second you're over 18 you're allowed to be on your how can you drive and hold a I I just don't understand I mean look I'm for letting stupid people do stupid things to kill themselves with right I'm all for that this is going to take out innocent exactly it just shouldn't be anything that can also kill everyone around you she moved to New Hampshire that's their motto Live Free or Die is it that's the that's the state

motto of New Hampshire yeah [ __ ] man that is Live Free or odd and very specific one thing that always gets me about people who drive well speeding and on their phone and stuff they say but I'm a good driver but doesn't matter you may be a good driver but slightly you're you're distracted and then you don't know what other drivers are going to do as well y yeah but I just baffled so I just assumed this was illegal as it is like I don't know I I just assumed everywhere was illegal cuz yeah but no I texting [ __ ] how come I know more about your laws than you do texting is worse I think than talking on the phone cuz at least cuz I mean texting theoretically you need both [ __ ] hands to do that appropriately and if using one hand you're very distracted you're taking

I've lamented on this past podcast many times uh Singapore government monitors the internet here and blocks many many sites um and they've just blocked one more I noticed to today uh early in the week it was fine but today when I went to log on to the Pirate Bay I discovered that I was it was non access so obviously I just Ed my surprised yeah I guess it surprised me if that was on their radar at all that it wasn't one of the first to go but there you go they find uh porn far more offensive than theft so I might be going to Italy later this month actually a man or a little thing called uh Arrested Development season 5 ah oh okay now this one I feel a bit strange

about cuz I'm paying Netflix already yes yeah but it's not on Netflix like it's not going to be on Netflix in Australia yeah well it's not on Netflix here in Singapore either I think it's on Netflix here yeah definitely is where you are Netflix boarded out in America but um in all the other territories they've got um pre-existing deals so go to Fox or in this country stub or whatever it is so so even though Netflix is making it and that's where the money should be going yeah because it has Fox still has the rights here in Australia to air it first so you feel Justified because you pay for Netflix even though it's not showing on Netflix well Fox still hasn't even come out and gone he's how you can watch it yet well and so so what the owners is on there

anything no I remember they did try to bring out a streaming service but I think yeah from what I remember a few years ago that went to the way cuz I have every single streaming service in Australia I've got Prime Prime Video St and Netflix there are none others that I know of [ __ ] millions of them here I'm not going to watch a rest of development one episode a week or anything like that I'm going to binge watch that [ __ ] yeah I'll probably just watch it Netflix I'll let you know how it is yeah yeah that would be great has anyone watched the uh the re-edited season 4 watching it now actually I haven't um I I can't really tell the difference I think it's MBE because I've watched it

quite a few times I already know it's the same except in a different order so it's yeah and it's not that that different so I is it just that it's more chronological I.E there's no jumps in time or have they just edited all of the separate story lines that happen on certain days to happen in the same episode so that you're watching an ensemble cast rather than it's yeah you're more yeah the stories are more intertwined as they go it's not sort of like how it originally was where beats became more obvious as the episode went on mhm but it still does jump forwards and backwards and it's not as clearcut as I think people were thinking it was going to be right I did like that it came out on um Cinco de

quatro I uh I read that they the cast were a little peeved about it because they see I kind of see both sides of this it's been reedited re-released and everything right but they're not getting any money out of it and then that's and then I guess fox or whoever did it was like that the case they were like well you didn't do anything like we already paid you like we we did it what I'm finding with though from what I can see is I can't watch the original edit anymore and I think I actually might like that better oh the original is not available anymore well they're G and down of George Lucas have they yeah it's just he's the new one I believe let me just double check um I could be very wrong it does happen every now funny to to trick some

something different and now it's not now it's the same movie as this uh I probably won't see this hey I probably won't I probably won't see it you know what it was actually it reminded me of Alien versus Predator yeah yeah remind me a little bit of that too yeah yeah that was not a good movie Alien versus Predator no no it was not no it was not and the sequel wasn't any better I don't know how that movie got a sequel yeah well I made money I guess pre-sales that's how it got a sequel pre-sales yeah so uh yeah yeah I I can't believe believe that Studios think that making a predator to movie in the year 2018 is relevant anyway I mean because I [ __ ] love Predator right but that movie is 30 years old predat Predator 2 is terrible me too man

but I have a soft spot Danny Glover yeah yeah yeah but it's not a good movie it's just a movie I love to watch and that's the movie that Predator 2 is actually the the the thing that kicked off the Alien versus Predator thing because just as a little joke they put the alien skull in the ship at the end and then everyone was like oh [ __ ] and then now they just pump out that stuff they shouldn't have mixed them together the books were actually good about that but the movie no yeah they shouldn't have done it just a joke no need for it no need for it guys but yeah I don't think I'll be going to see that one I probably will have Movie Pass still around I'm I didn't actually know that they were making a predator movie until I saw trailer they've been making this for a long

time sorry I just unplugged my headphones by accident I know predators predators did not do well did it I don't think so it wasn't very good I didn't even see it it looked [ __ ] I didn't see it I watched it uh on my iPad when we were the first time we were here in the US Dan actually on a flight oh okay I think from San Francisco to Seattle I watched it or something H wasn't that good yeah where they all or the bad people get taken off Earth and then thrown on another planet it didn't really make any sense it what didn't follow along with any other Predator movie yeah the first one was so good it's not though take that back you just have fun memories of it fine I'm going to do a rewatch at some

point you have to remember the first this what predator was a r it was an R movie you would have been maybe 11 12 when you saw it it'll be PG if they classified it now but back then you know we rewatched recently that is a [ __ ] great movie Robocop ah I love that movie it's got can I I didn't even remember how good it was like I I remember bits of it that I was like yeah that's watch just a really good movie last year yeah it's an excellent how they brutally kill Murphy beginning at movies everyone gets brutally killed that guy that gets dropped into toxic waste and then wanders out and gets hit by a car and then in the remake that came out a few years ago he got blown up by a bomb but

didn't really get blown up but then they cut away half his body yeah but I will say this that part in the new one where he asked to see what's left of himself and it's just his head and a little hand like that chilled me to my very core lungs yeah that was the only good part of that entire and when he escaped from the factory that makes Robocop and it was in China oh yeah that's right and he yeah the rice Patty Fields quite good look I actually didn't mind that movie but I don't know why they felt they need to make it because Rober cop as you say Matt is a great film the original stands up but a movie that they evidently are finally making is Bill and Ted 3 yep bill' talking about this for years now they've said this is happening on we've

mentioned this multiple times I think on this show but this is apparently officially they've got them K Reeves and Alex Winter have signed on and they've got a director and a script and it's [ __ ] happening they're making it they're doing it yep just do it already I'm sick of you announcing it and talking about it just the next thing I want to hear about it is he's a trailer the next thing I want to hear about it is here's the movie watch it yeah yes please I'll definitely watch this [ __ ] love Bill and Ted we rewatched ex I talked about this already we watched Excellent Adventure Jen had never seen it I told you at the time it is it is anure at the time she was like this is dumb it grows yeah and then she said to

be middle-aged in this and then at the end of the second one they were huge Stars so they middle-aged but don't forget they remember they forgot to learn how to play they forgot to learn how to play their instruments so they had to just wait and learn how to play and it's probably going to be set somewhere in that time oh yeah maybe once they traveled away from the the talent show oh yeah so can just be set in that Loop somewhere yeah yeah yeah about what happens in that time frame because it's very important that they zezy top beards it's very important that they the timeline because that's what Bill and Ted's known for is its accuracy yeah that's right history and uh yeah yeah it's up there with primer for just attention to detail in terms of closing that
