kick you out of a game you're hosting yeah Sid if you kick me out of this one too I'm coming for you buddy I'm [ __ ] coming for you my concern is once we get 100 turns in and then one of us just gets dropped out of the game I just don't want that so hope by one of us you mean me any any one of us that's going to [ __ ] things up but yeah I'm scared for Sid if it's you but yeah you should be you should be Sid Meer has a master class I think does he actually make games or does he write games I don't know I'm fairly certain he made games back in the day I don't know if he does anymore he probably just they probably just come to him and goes Sid you got an idea for a new game and he goes civilization six yeah what did I really last time add a number to that it's Will

a game that did not do well that was my understanding of it it looked interesting did it do better than Sim ant because he really just try literally every version of sim I've heard Sim ant was pretty good I'll be honest I haven't played it but I've heard it was pretty good I think I played it back in the day speaking of sim ant I watched a movie finally I I forgot to put this in the spreadsheet oh you watched H Shunk the kids no I watched I watched that movie today as well is it an the no I watched Ant-Man oh okay well that's watching that one no wasp no wasp let's go chronologically let's uh Luke what did you think of anman well cuz when Ant-Man first came out I sort of skipped it because I don't know I didn't hear good things about it and then I saw Ant-Man

in The Avengers movie and I went this guy's awesome I want to see more of this that's exactly what happened with me finally got around to watching Ant-Man and it's a different character yeah it's a very different experience isn't it and it just sort of glosses over things it's like even him learning to use his powers and stuff they're sort of making it into a montage that's taking hours like like it's taking a long time for him to learn how to use and everything but then the whole course of the movie takes is over like 3 days or something you know what I don't I don't remember those CU it was such a forgettable movie yeah yeah the stakes are low and that it just seems to involve only about four people in the plot it's just a very small movie The Plot doesn't really make

sense oh I what you did that Dan small movie Ant-Man nice an sized movie I I was not impressed but was Ant-Man and the was better uh it was better but it was pretty similar I got to say I didn't dislike it as much as I dis I didn't dislike the first one I had no I had no feelings towards the first one this one this one was fine it was just fine is Paul Rod playing the character we saw from The Avengers one or is he we see is he playing the character from the first movie I'd say it's more of a blend to to be honest yeah I feel there's definitely more of of him in there yeah okay I think maybe genuinely funny bits in it's I feel like there were some funny bits in the first one yeah I got I don't

remember there being any funny bits in the first one but in this one I feel there were certain times why I laughed out loud yeah yeah I I don't remember funny bits in it I only saw it today I laughed out loud at um this is not really a spoiler is that um we think you entangled with her I would never do that hang I respect you too much that made me laugh out loud if you've seen the movie you know what I mean if you haven't aoil I just love the bit where I mean it factors into the story later but I just love the the part where [ __ ] Michael Douglas doesn't want to let him have any Al toys yeah yeah there's some good stuff in this I think they good use of the the technology and stuff like that some good little gags with that and some good action scenes car chases were good

yeah and I think they they just relied Less on Gag humor this time than they did before I mean it's certainly it's certainly still a comedy but just like yeah look everything's really big around me that didn't really feel the limitation of it Luke you said the first one glossed over things and I feel I feel like this one really did too like it cuts from like I don't want to give any spoilers if you haven't seen the film but it it it like they get into like trouble and then they get out of trouble and it's kind of like seems like it's going to be a big deal and it just cuts to them doing something else like it's I don't know just I I know how to say it without spoiling things it just it it just seems to gloss over things I guess is I really would have loved for edar right to have

been more involved in this just because he's your favorite director and you love him yeah yeah we discovered recently your favorite director and I think he could have done some great things with this yeah speaking of Ed Gite the uh the the old woman uh in the country police station that makes something sexual out of everything just want to ask this week I know how good was this speak yeah it was great it was the most human thing I've ever seen yeah it made me very happy she's great man um remember watching her in Peep Show back in the day and uh broad Church good honor [ __ ] award yeah I saw the film and uh it's well worth it well worth her I'm probably not going to watch Academy Award whatever that film was no I

probably won't either look it's probably not your thing necessarily maybe I'm probably not going to watch any of the films that uh won Academy Awards this year I'll stop you there Matt uh oh black panther oh that one but yeah sure but black panther was up for its uh actually uh started rewatching that the other day oh and look it's good it's it's good and I I understand you know it it it did stuff that we haven't seen before so uh it was up for some awards I didn't you know it's not a mind-blowing film but I understand you know culturally it's uh significant so fair enough y good visual effects and and actually I guess the the uh the costumes and the art design like [ __ ] welld deserved like it's it's badass so still I actually my opinion still

holds from when I first saw it solid movie I feel like the them doing a a wakand an accent kills some of the timing on the jokes in a few spots other than that I really like it never thought about that well just it because you know they it's kind of a awkward accent like they speak a little stiltedly I guess is is a way to put it I think the and I still say the one thing that I think would have put that movie Over The Edge is if they actually spoke with condom instead of yeah with subtitles if somebody had actually written a language yeah yeah cuz I think it's sort of weird you you go home and then you still speak English I can understand why they didn't because they I I I'm sure during production they were like are people going to like this cuz

does take it does take a lot of risk even like it yeah it's true and I mean they don't even do that with languages that exist in American movies you know what I mean like uh they're certainly not going to write a whole new language for a film like this H go for it do it care of it for for Lord of the yeah that's right there's there's there's a great movie called The Quest for Fire um which is set in Neanderthal times and uh the guy who wrote A Clockwork Orange wrote a neanderthal language for them to speak in in this movie and uh it's excellent and very well worth watching the Quest for Fire but have you guys seen Valkyrie the movie where Tom Cruz plays a Nazi I have I have yeah I think it's it's been a while it's a Zack Snider movie it's not it's a Brian

Singer movie it's Brian Singer okay right um that's the movie where Tom Cruz said you can ask me anything you want I'm an open book and Brian Singer asked him a bunch of really confronting offensive questions about scientology and he he asked him a bunch of really forward questions about scientology and then was told don't talk to Tom Cruz again wow but in that movie it's it's just German Nazis speaking to other German Nazis but they speak in English of course because it's an American movie Tom Cruz just talks like Tom Cruz yeah they but they yeah and everyone else tries an accent but he doesn't no but they uh they don't they don't even use the word Nazi huh okay I never noticed that they say National Socialist did they not

which I find just a bit obuse did they not call themselves that is me maybe that was our word and they call themselves something that in German translates straight to National Socialist because they look playing down no no we're not Nazis we're not Nazis what are you talking about like the first time that I heard that melini's party was called the fascist party and I was like didn't people know like wasn't that a red flag and they're like Daniel that's that's where the word comes from yeah it's not that people were like are you fascists yeah I guess yeah the Nazi party wasn't a thing until there was a Nazi party yeah so it didn't come from grammar Nazi they're like you know what we're like we're kind of like Grand

Nazis with like race yeah with like World politics yeah dear me um Michael Jackson's house is for sale um it's uh how much is it should we put in a bid for itbook it's dropped in price Matt do you actually have a checkbook yeah I do it's unfortunately a necessity in this country really really yeah man you need them I don't understand how checks are still a Thing If you go to uh do you fax a check Matt I I haven't fax a check no I'm just thinking you have a check have a fax machine no I don't I don't think you can fax a check I think you got to have the original but uh I've been in situations where you have to pay for

this thing with a check like uh wow when we transfer the title on um on the X5 you have to go to the DMV uh which I think you can pay with a card there but when you go you have to go to the police and they get they do a check a title check or something or something like that and bartender wait you don't put your you tap to get money out of the machine no oh that you can do that but I don't actually use cash at all now I've got a ring I pay for everything with my ring oh wearables are uh are in there are they yep you pay with sexual favors look yep wow but no I can pay with my phone my watch and then I've got a ring from my bank that I now use so I just yeah I

and I think that's part of the reason why you know what that might be might be part of it I think a lot of stuff here is just kind of embedded and companies would be out of business if it wasn't so I think that's a part of it as well yeah well there you go Matt is there a limit to what your checkbook uh can can issue like can you write I don't know don't checks for multiple Millions I guess specific could you write a check could you write a check for well actually could could you write the Jackson estate a check for $31 million cuz that's what they're asking for for the uh Neverland think I think yes I could uh I'm pretty sure I could um I'm I mean look that check's going to bounce I'll be honest but and actually write it's illegal to write a check that

you know is going to bounce exactly we don't know that we don't know it will bounce no it it is that's a i I know this I don't know how but it's one of those things I know I might have a uh what is it an overdraw overdrawn limit yeah what do they call that yeah and it's probably less than $31 million it's like at when you get to $32 million in overdraw we'll send you an alert yeah 32 I'm going to set it at 32 million yeah um apparently four years ago they they put this Neverland Ranch up for sale at 100 million which is a lot of money and if I had $100 million to spend on like a house and land I I probably wouldn't buy Michael Jackson's um old [ __ ] pad you know um I'm looking at this place and it

looks like a theme park and I'm never actually seen a lot of photos of it I guess like you look at it and that looks like walking into Disneyland yeah but if you were trying to if you were trying to coax a bunch of little kids into your house this is what you'd make your house though right I thought we've gone from no he wasn't he wasn't trying to do that over the years to now this documentary's come out and everyone's like it's just this is just a and we haven't even seen it this house is a TR the documentary I know yeah yeah it's one big [ __ ] mouse trap with [ __ ] a little Disneyland on a piece of cheese yeah man look at this place does he even play tennis well not anymore but did he even play tennis I a lot of people buy places with a tennis court and a pool and don't

use them well I certainly wouldn't if I had them man I wish my house had a tennis court we looked at a place with a tennis court when we were here didn't have a whole lot else it just had a giant [ __ ] tennis court in the backyard so a house with with a private tennis court just for you just for the people who live at that house and we had to looked into how much would it cost to remove a tennis court cuz I don't want one uh and it was prohibitively expensive and also the house was small anyway but had tennis yes because prioritize the tennis I guess there's not a lot of rides here but then I guess the main ride don't go there daddy is the zoo still there cuz he had a zoo didn't he yeah what was his monkey is monkey his chimp's name bu

bubbles yeah for some reason I thought he had a zoo like with a giraffe and I don't know I know there was a llama at some point as well I mean probably yeah there was this clock reminds me of uh tangazo tangazo has the clock right oh okay I think Disneyland have a clock like this too right they probably do probably most theme parks and zoos and places look if I think Michael Jackson might have modeled this more on Disneyland than toner zoo I think I guess maybe maybe the house itself is quite nice I'm confused by the bedroom to bathroom ratio uh M six bedrooms but nine bathrooms well yeah that's fair yeah I mean I don't have a good aason guests man he's got a lot of guests well you got a movie theater right so the

movie theater might need its own bathroom but it's not a bed yeah plus male and female so there's double the amount I don't know seems Seems wrong I think it should be the other way around okay you want to sleep in the bathroom that's a bit we weird Luke but all right whatever whatever you want well you can just give me one when you buy the place I'll take one of the bathrooms I find it odd that Michael Jackson's [ __ ] Palace has only six bedrooms because six doesn't sound like a large number of bedrooms for a Mana house to have but then again I guess the idea is that your guests sleep in your bedroom well I've got three bedrooms in my house does that mean my house is worth 15 million I guess so that's that's how it is yeah well I got I got a bargain I can tell

you yeah but how many bedroom how many bathrooms do you have h two okay yeah where is this place I don't actually know Lo California okay yeah of course it is but Los Olivos where is that though in California I'm I mean this is a lot of land right I'm assuming this is isn't just outside downtown it's green so uh it's obviously in the nice part Santa Enz Valley of Santa Barbara there you go see it's lost $70 million off their initial asking price so they were just trying to sell it for a way overprice back in because people don't want it because cuz Michael Jackson potentially touched kids there yeah you and also who would want want a [ __ ] house that has a [ __ ] shitty theme park and an empty Zoo like so specific I

know come on love it it's like all right fine even rich people rich people who don't give a [ __ ] aren't buying this house like they must I think they were just asking more than what it's worth and going because it's Michael Jackson's we going to pay more for then other other the people who can actually afford it like I don't [ __ ] care whose house it was mate yeah yeah fair enough look maybe if it was $31 million before everyone had made up their mind on Michael Jackson maybe that might have prompted a quick sale but now that it's like yeah I don't want to be the one to buy this yeah so the second it gets to a price that I can afford I'm buying it I don't care all right yeah that's fair and I think uh I mean look we've we've

bit more cuz I uh I signed up for EA access to try it and I canceled a access almost immediately so that I wouldn't have to look at the icon on my Xbox anymore cuz it's a [ __ ] boring terrible game I was enjoying it and now I've got up to a stage where I don't know how to progress the story and I'm just replaying missions over and over and I'm just no I don't want to I want to play a game I was pretty enam with I played through the you know the uh start Miss yeah and I was I was like this is this is cool the flying is good I feel like I'm Iron Man this is pretty fun and then but then as soon as I got into the game proper I was like oh no this is garbage I'm not interested yeah I just cuz even when sometimes you'll go in and you'll

play a game with people and it'll always match you with people now if these people play thisch they'll just they'll fly on and just you can't if you see something interesting you go I'm going to stop here they continue on the mission then you get zapped to where they are and it's all well not only that put me in a group with with someone who was like level 30 and then they [ __ ] off and left me and and then because their levels so high everything just destroyed me immediately it was I don't know it's just I don't either look I don't understand in 6 months time it's 6 months to a year time it's going to be a very different game yeah well I I just I still find that the criticism it's getting is very harsh compared to whereas this is starting off like

Destiny started it is except I guess it has less of uh like like Destiny had less people weren't scared Bungie was going to implode I guess is what I'm trying to say whereas BioWare every all eyes were on them like don't [ __ ] this up and it seems like maybe they have yeah I just I was enjoying the story and then it just got to a stage where I don't know how to continue it and I can't find what to do and now I'm just frustrated and I haven't played the game since well I've uninstalled it and canceled my I want to grind to get it I'm not playing it again I couldn't have I wanted to well you could you still got another few days of your access so you just no I got a refund it's cancel you got a refund yep canel it within uh within the period for

that to to be okay so it said do you want to continue canell uninstalled and then went to that Total Recall place for them to remove the memory of it from your brain that's right yeah it said do you want to continue using it for the period or do you want to refund and I said I'll have a refund thanks wow yeah so yeah I'm starting to think that yeah bow might be going away again we shall see the other thing is it it reminded me of because I mean it's it's it's sort of reminiscent of Mass Effect and so I was like maybe I should give Mass Effect Andromeda another shot no don't bother no well I have I I I did start another game of that just to see and I mean it's all right it's just I that game just makes no sense to me cuz sort of the graphics sort of went

backwards from Mass Effect they're awful everything went backwards you you can't have a Mass Effect game that's just all right at this stage and then they talk about the whole thing that they focus on with the adom games like you going to be building the like you're going to be settling building everything but every time you landed on a planet no matter when you went to it it was just the same animations with the people who were there doing the same stuff yeah like you didn't see colonies grow or change or anything it was just yeah they by way have said that they may return to Mass Effect well they I saw also I was like I wonder if they fixed Mass Effect Andromeda right because it's been a while no they [ __ ] abandoned it yep they got so they got so upset

that everyone was hating on it they they were just like [ __ ] yeah we're not even patching it anymore they had plain DLC that was going to come out um and I forget one of the cuz one of the the ships got lost the quaran one there's going to be a whole dlc about going and finding that ship and I just went no we're not making that anymore yeah well I said they're not even patching the game if there are bugs that's it that's it wow yeah so made a [ __ ] game and nobody liked it sorry guys some people did like it I played it and finished it yeah it didn't mean you liked it no did you didn't enjoy it no I was I was disappointed with it the thing is I guess Anthem triggered the desire to play something like that and I'm like well I guess Andromeda is kind of like that and I can

play it and I I did pay for it so maybe I should play it but you think maybe I shouldn't it's there something else I should play instead if you want to play it play away that's not the advice I'm looking for Luke but no it's a lot of have you played Titanfall yet Titanfall 2 cuz I recommend that no but isn't that just a shooter yeah yeah it's got a great story yeah it's not really what I'm looking for I don't know come and join my conand gameer just chop trees with me up in the in the north I got a cabin in the woods I'm just chopping down trees and just living my life yeah just getting on with it yeah I'm just living my life man I'm playing The Lego Movie game too God I mean I shouldn't surprise it Luke literally plays every game so look the

Lego is is The Lego Movie game the same as the Lego games like the Lego Star Wars the Lego Indiana Jones Etc yeah it's exactly the same it's literally the same game with a different skin on it yeah this one well it does follow story of the movie and if this is the getting I'm not excited yeah because the movie comes out soon so it's a movie it's a video game tie in no but you can't judge a movie on a video game of the movie that'd be like saying oh I played Lego Star Wars and if the movie is anything like this all that is is characters picking up [ __ ] bricks and getting Powers up I played the NES Star Wars game what a piece of [ __ ] movie that is yeah I played Return of the Jedi on [ __ ] amga and it's it's just three scenes on

repeat no it's cuz they also have like the story in the game yeah and the story that I'm experiencing this game is not a movie that I would want to watch I haven't seen any of the Lego movies I must admit the first one was good no it wasn't I enjoyed it I didn't I thought it was stupid well it is it's a movie about Lego I'm I know I'm in the minority and most people liked it I did not like that movie well look while we're talking about movies that are just objectively stupid um they've come out this week and announced that uh the uh the view master that thing you had when you were a kid that you put up to your eyes and you put a little piece of cardboard in and you can see something in sort of 3D let's say 2 and a half D

um the movie of that's coming out now so Hollywood has just admitted it's out of ideas I guess his sentence right since the 1940s view master has inspired wonder and joy in children of all ages creating huge opportunities for storytelling the [ __ ] are you talking about yeah that's a stretch that is a stretch like so what are we thinking the movie is going to be about is it just going to be like a they look through it and they can see stuff differently and it helps them solve mystery or they get zapped into a world look it could be more like uh when they announced that they were going to do a Facebook movie and we like how are they going to do a Facebook movie and it's was like oh okay it's just about the people that invented Facebook so maybe this is going to be about the guys

who ED view Master maybe yeah it could be just about a kid who has one and he just really likes it and he loses it but then he finds it if it was going to be realistic it would be like a kid who has one because at some point in his life a grandparent bought it for him and it's it's in his room and sometimes when he's tidying up he'll pick it up and look through it and click that thing once and then throw it back into the toy box I mean I had one of these yeah I had one everyone had one I just I don't remember it blown on my mind I I it's exactly as you've described every now then I'd go oh that thing there we go I'm looking at it and then now it's going back under the bed did you have many wheel things to put in it though or did you just no I had like

a handful had like a Disney one I think and uh like a hand I know think I had an one yeah I don't I don't remember all of them I I'm pretty sure I had a Disney one that's all I remember like uh I think they would have a hard time making this into a kids movie cuz kids are going to have no idea what the hell this thing is did they make porn view Master things I'm sure they do 3D ones cuz that would have been a market that I mean obviously not not for K I'm reading an article here called this feels wrong using the view Master for VR porn in discovering Psychotherapy so it's quite a read here so I can't really report back but I'll I'll have a look through and we can have some but maybe they did view master was the first device that allowed families all over the world to

drama no well then no no he's not a geek then okay okay okay let me let me finish this off I got one more on my list okay so I'm putting all my eggs in this basket now um yep so yakiv P died this week too do you know l p not personally okay so yakiv P was the last Nazi in America um I'm got to go with a no he does surprising turn he was a he was a guard he was a concentration camp guard at tranka and then um in the early 50s he he uh he fled to America under a false passport um he was living there for many

years he was discovered to be the Nazi war criminal that he was and at that point America tried to deport him but the country that he was born in was no longer a country it was just sections of the Communist block they stuck with him and Germany threw up their hands and said not our problem so uh America was actually forced to uh to let him live there until uh 2018 last year where he finally for the first time went went home to Germany uh and he died there this week so he's our geek of the week play the jingle p wow so we can't uh God can't even get the Nazis out of here no what a disaster well I'm I'm just glad Luke let

he's also admitted that yeah I I was about to say he's he's not going to come at me for that yeah he's like you're dead right Danny I never thought that through only one of the kid was a scared of clown so why does he appear as a clown to everyone he said he sits down and the the story reveals it itself to him like a statue in a block of marble because he also doesn't understand how statues work yeah I was about to say I think you have to know very specifically what to carve away you just hit it with a chisel and you find what's in there you're like [ __ ] there's a Michelangelo's David in here who knew Michelangelo was [ __ ] lucky man he was just popping out all these secret statu away yeah no I disagree with him on that I also disagree as evidenced by my uh myone

still like his books um so the for those who don't know and probably do that's why you're writing it stevenh that's how it's happened you're writing it yeah you're making this up as you go along yeah give yourself more credit mate it uh was originally a two-parter and um it takes place when the kids are kids and then when the kids are slightly more grown up and uh it the Remake that came out last year was was just the kid part so they're doing another one that's just the teenager part um now I haven't seen the original yet yet now did they end that in a way that it could actually be ended uh yes because I remember reading that they weren't sure if they're going to make a SE really depended how it was going go you definitely just watch this

as yeah it could have been left okay cuz they're adults now not not even teenagers adults right right so uh they've come out this week and said that uh like 40s oh is that the that that wasn't the case in the in the old one though right yeah yeah cuz they're grow they're all growing up and cuz what's her name she's in she's in an abusive marriage and they're all like they've gone on different things okay sorry spoiler yeah spoiler for something from the 8S yes they've come out and said that there is a scene in the it sequel that's uh that's upcoming now that will contain more blood than any other horror movie that's a big call it's a big call and I know that there's look this is a recent one but immediately coming to mind was the Evil Dead remake where it

literally RS blood yeah that was tough that was [ __ ] chapter one of this remake there's a scene that's got quite a lot of blood in it already yeah I know the scene you mean quite a lot of blood quite a lot so hm interesting I mean Stephen King's The Shining a [ __ ] hotel fills up with blood that's a lot of blood I'm interested to see that just curious yeah I'm interested too and if it's just like the ocean turns to blood so they've tinted it red I'll be disappointed yeah because yeah that doesn't count because I think I've seen that in a film too so more blood than that goodness well it's in the Bible isn't it that's true what is ocean turn to blood or does the ocean boil I can't something not a movie not a horror movie

so fair that's right cuz they're saying the most blooded in a horror movie True they're being quite specific there aren't they I haven't seen that adaptation although I am interested there is a there is an old movie I think from the ' 40s or or maybe even in the 30s called the Bible um that's that's literally the Old Testament as a movie okay oh yeah has it got Charon hon in it probably everything did back then um I don't think it has Charon Hon you're thinking of the the Moses movie uh I could be yeah where he plays Moses Ten Commandments Ten Commandments that's it no this one Stars John Houston as uh Houston as God and various other characters I think he plays Noah and then he's a voice as well it's one of those where everybody's just

playing all the same all all the characters yeah yeah it's the um it's the league of gentlemen Bible version very good I speaking of very good I started watching perfume on your recommendation ah well I guess I know how you what you think of it it's it's very good yeah it is it's very good I've only watched the first two episodes CU I just started it this week but uh I'm liking it yeah yeah luk you oh wait no it is it's dubbed isn't it so Luke might be able to watch it yes look it is dubbed and like I'm I'm famously against dubbing so I I first attempted to just watch this in the native language but I I feel you miss too much of the action sure when when you're reading that much the funny thing is even when I'm watching just television and it's in

English I still have the subtitles on so I can make sure not to miss anything see if if I have subtitles on English and in English I will just read the subtitles instead of just listening to it that's why I always turn the subs off when I'm playing a video game if I get the option yeah no for some reason yeah I just always have them on so we we tend to um flick it onto its you know native language and put the subtitles on even if it's D because it's I don't know it's distracting when their voices don't match I found with dark I you guys watched Dark right yeah yeah yeah that was good yeah I found with that I couldn't read the subtitles because there was so much Nuance going on in the image um that I was that I was missing out on by reading the sub so had to I

had to go back to the uh the dub version for that but yeah this [ __ ] this new wave of German what would you call it like TV Noir yeah like it's [ __ ] great I'm loving it yeah it's good we also we've been watching uh actually there's a lot of good uh Finnish shows shows from Finland like deadwind is very good and uh I think I've got that in the list I haven't seen it yet though no that's really good we and uh and uh Bordertown is one that Netflix recommended it's pretty good although I feel like we got spoiled by all these other ones and so border Town's not quite as good I I got Border Town in my list too but I keep overlooking at what was the other one you said net wind deadwind dead wind it's not dubbed as far as I'm aware you can have to watch the subtitles I I love

this this is the key words for it finish Rogue cop Nordic Noir yes please it's good yeah that's a good one yeah recommend it well truly cool yeah perfume's good listeners check it out yeah perfume is is excellent if you like kind of small country town murder mystery something's not quite right which [ __ ] like I'll watch literally anything where that's the the plot and if you're thinking oh is it is it like that weird movie actually it's tangentially related to that yeah yeah that's right that weird movie about the correlation about the perfuma that kills women yeah it is related to that sort of yeah yeah yep that's right I'd say get on that get on it we got some listener

submitted uh content yes I thought this was quite funny actually uh Darcy sent in this article uh well he sent in the kickstarter it's at first uh when it was still active um there's a Kickstarter this week to raise money to have the rat removed from the end of The Departed because it's just a bit on the nose yeah I love when The Simpsons did their their uh departed ripoff episode and uh at the end the rat runs across and then uh [ __ ] it's been so long since I watched The Simpsons what's what's the kid who with the high voice Ralph yeah Ralph yeah Ralph just comes up and says the rat symbolizes obviousness yeah it's pretty weird so they uh it's just an odd choice to slap that in there like I I've I've seen the

movie and it was good and I actually don't remember the rat ruining it or anything but no it uh you know apparently people didn't like it enough that they wanted to raise four grand to have it digitally removed from the film uh it was going well it hit the goal uh but Warner Brothers has now come along and slapped him with a copyright violation and it will will probably not be happening although I mean I find this a little weird that someone did this as a Kickstarter I could probably go on to YouTube right now and find it yeah yes but but but this was going to be the official version I found it odd that $4,000 was what he was Raising for this but it makes perfect sense when you look at his actual breakdown of the cost I respect the guy for doing this you want

to hear the breakdown of costs right buying a copy of Blu-ray The Departed $18.90 right yep buying a Blu-ray player to play it on 14150 right Blu-ray try to get a Blu-ray player Blu-ray ripping $59 hiring a visual effects artist to remove the r that's $599 right y yeah printing out the film on 35 mm film that's $414 59 right um scanning that portion of the film back into the movie onto that film that's $169.90 right right y buying a one- Monon Adobe Creative Cloud license it's editing y 5770 right buying a blank Blu-ray that's

3831 a sharpy to write on the blank Blu-ray that's $2.70 um and paying an intern to um burn the copies and then mail them all to the backers is the remaining $350 at a rate of $15 not bad so that's why he needs exactly $44,000 he raised it um and they're saying no he to avoid copyright issues by not technically selling it but rather accepting $70 donations so that he could buy you a legal Blu-ray throw the disc away and replace it with his Superior version water brothers were Silly with this they would have made money out of this yeah I mean not they would have made uh they would have made um $18.91 by selling the one copy of The

Departed you want the official Twitter account for this is rat erase this guy must really [ __ ] hate that rat this is a pretty good stunt I find it weird it's not like he was going to remove the rat he's going to hire someone to do it he's just a project manager that's right yeah he just hated it look this uh The Departed is based on a on a Chinese film Hong Kong Chinese film called infernal Affairs which is an absolutely fantastic movie same story line but said in Hong Kong um and as far as I can remember there's no rat in that but that could because they don't use that that euphemism for a spy could be but that's a great movie too you should check that out scy has a master class I wonder if he talks about rats in it I actually would want to watch the scores

masterclass so maybe I I will report back on that at some did you watch the Ron Howard one didn't you I did watch The Ron Howard one probably the wrong choice basically yeah the Ron Howard yeah I did I'm definitely did the Ron Howard uh master class is basically him just telling you that you should be born into a Hollywood family um make make an absolute Fortune before the time you're 10 years old um be friends with a lot of really famous uh Movie Makers and then just be able to do whatever you want within the Hollywood System that seems pretty easy yeah so and then you can do a Star Wars movie that's right [ __ ] it I like his Star Wars movie I don't care what anyone says yeah it was all right the problem is it wasn't really his it was half his yeah that's true I think it

said that they're G to they got a new thing that'll let you import games from other platforms I don't see how that helps them though um like way that sort of helps them is locks you into them gets people going to them as their first point of reference instead of well that's what I do that now any they do sell new games it's not they're not just selling old games I prioritize them over steam generally speaking these days I don't know I just buy them game on God and I buy it on Steam and I forget I purchased it on either yeah I've done that before I've also done that before and I've I've purchased games on both Gog and steam that I realized that I also had just downloaded to play on the scum VM yep yeah well I hope hope gog's all right hopefully this is just a well it's also

currently in the works including one say um open world the Dune games were quite good the original ones the first they were completely different games but they were both quite good uh the second one was kind of like uh Warcraft it was like an RTS game yeah I never played that one it was good a good game played a lot when I was when I was young yeah recommend it yeah I mean I don't know if it's still good maybe I shouldn't be recommending it I'd say go get it on Gog but uh Luke's [ __ ] giving them the kiss of death I assume it is on Gog right Gog knows these days yep June 1 and two you can get in a pack now if you want Gog to stay around go buy it now do it I'm going to stay around if they can make some money I
