is the rubber R grips okay I've had bad experience with them cuz with the elite controllers with the elite controllers if you're going to use the dick troller you want the rubberized grips that's what I thought too that thing gets slippery the elite controller I do recommend it's just a like $250 yeah I'm good but the weight with it is great but I've had problems with the grips on them after extended use the sort of the glue sort of melts or they expand and they start to peel off I think if that's happening your version of extended use is probably different to their intended usage because these things are thoroughly tested in manufacturing they have robots that rub them and stuff oh can I get a robot to rub me in

just for a predator movie not just for an action movie [ __ ] great movie yeah even if they was no there were no other Predator movies I still think this would be a good movie yeah yeah yeah and I think this is that's what makes this a good sort of PR pred does make it a good Predator it's in the universe but it's not a hey we're directly related to this one or look this it's just and there's been hints in the past and I I can affirm that because I went back and watched all the others just after this and um there are some nice there's there's reasons they chose this specific time and place for this it links it to both the other two but he don't have to have seen them that's why correct no absolutely not now here is why it's good there there's a very very simple reason

that this is a good movie every single mistake that this lead character makes throughout the movie teaches her a lesson that she then uses to defeat the villain at the end yeah it is classic perfectly done Heroes journey in a way you never see anymore everything fails every single thing she does fails and it teaches her how to beat the bad guy her greatest weakness Becomes Her greatest strength by the end perfect storytelling I I did find one thing I had a little bit of a problem with and this is a little bit she was just too hot you just couldn't keep your eyes off her no it's at the end of the movie where she comes back to the village and everyone starts cheering and everyone's happy mhm halfy Village has just been murdered

all your sons and husbands are now dead you didn't watch through the credits did you no it's not a happy ending look oh so there's there's not actually a scene but if you the end credits play over this animated sequence of what what you just watched it looks like kind of paintings okay cuz I sort of skipped through looking for like an endend credit scene and I through that to a point but then an extra thing happens because if you know the other films you'll know that that flint lock pistol is relevant and You' be thinking well how did they get that for the other movie and then at the end of the back now you

know you see a bunch of other Ships coming in but that's still does it sort of I still find a bit weird that they're cheering her when she alone comes back they warlike people L they've got different values to us I mean they could have stopped so she could explain and go oh this is thing killed everybody and but don't worry I killed it but then instead just kind of like you just let to assume oh they understand what's happened here she saved them MH she's covered in [ __ ] blood green glowing blood I mean looks right I think it's more like they would be like the [ __ ] is that get it away from me yeah they were superstitious people though so it's like she could have just gone was a monster and everyone goes ah monster less

explaining that you need to do than it's not even my thing it's not even explaining the monster or anything it's just go yeah all your sons They're All Dead like all all the guys I left with all gone all been murdered that's life back in the 1700s but no apart no even not even apart from that it's just a good movie it is a great movie and as soon as it finished I went and uh I sailed the Seas and I picked up a copy of predator and Predator 2 Predator is still to this day a great movie there's very very little I can fault with it um and in fact if I was to do a fan edit I'd literally only cut two tiny things out of it and they are the two quips that Anie makes when his killing those uh terrorists in the jungle that initial scene yeah and I

assume Arie threw those in cuz he's like I kind of do this in movies I do on liners but it is completely inconsistent with his character for the rest of the movie who's actually quite sto takes job very seriously is it something that he's tried to throw in or is it somewhere where the producers have gone like this is what people are going to expect to see of him oh I I I believe it would be him like I believe that based on I read his autobiography I I believe probably was like you know I should probably say something smart here yeah yeah although I mean it could be done well so I mean the the director of of this directed Die Hard which has some quips in it too but they're in character quips it's not just a guy who doesn't normally make jokes going stick around

yeah so then um I put on Predator to um this is not a good movie however however I have a soft spot for it though I've I do as well there's there's nudity in it I there is I saw this first before Predator one when I was kid which is actually the case with a lot of these big franchise tent poles where the first one was rated R and so I wasn't allowed to see it and it was kind of one of those underground adult hits and then the second one had a rating low enough that I could probably watch it at a friend's house or something and it was popular enough that I I'd be more likely to just kind of watch it um so I saw this one first and thought this is great then watched Predator a couple of years later we're like oh no this is this is

even better yeah but Predator 2 does have a couple of good things number one that final scene although the the CGI doesn't hold out very much these days but where where he does end up in the ship great scene and that scene where it's [ __ ] walking towards him through the [ __ ] puddles with the cloaking device on so you can't see him but you just see his footprint hit the [ __ ] water great scene like great scene is that set in La is it set in LA or did they did they set in LA in the future brackets 1997 right I couldn't remember the specifics yeah you said you went somewhere to get it you do realize that they're all just on Disney are they okay yeah all the aliens all the Predators they're just on Disney

no they're not mate Disney just has Disney stuff I I still find it so weird that Disney does have this yeah on it they've got to yeah they've got to split it out here as well cuz it just to me it just seems weird that you can log on to Disney which I you think Disney family and then go watch yeah that's what it is Predator 2 was definitely one of if not the first movie I saw a sex scene Highlander and certainly the first movie that I saw two people have sex and then get strung up um and disbaled oh Top Gun actually see I think I saw Top Gun pretty full on when it came out I think I saw that years later I used to fast forward through it not interesting when I was like keep it moving where's the story when I was 10

interet service provider was called RPI I remember them which stood for Rod and Pam's internet oh yeah and it was just this married couple that had just decided to put together their own little um internet company internet yeah yeah I remember um the days my cousin that's was his in prob like yeah same thing like his little m m Mom Mom and Pop operation type of thing um my dad had cable and he would just email him a lot of stuff and it got to the point where inter FR went can you ask them not to email you so much because you sort of wipe it us out when we um when we lived in Eastwood Dave and I the upstairs neighbors worked for Opus and they got cable when it wasn't common to have cable and they had like would have been very uncommon at that point yeah they

had like No No Limit no limit cuz that was a big thing you could get it it was over expensive or you had like a low limit yeah and because they were Tech we were alling tech support they they worked for I don't know what they did exactly but they so they had a network you know switch up in their um little apartment and we had one down in ours that we were playing games on and then so we said oh can we just just you know run a run a Just Jack ethernet cable down through the and then in the bathroom window and then into our switch and they were like yeah sure so we were piggy backed onto their cable until they came down one day and they said look we've got a letter saying we're basically using the amount of internet like large business

users so we're taking this cable back I also recall your house not in Eastwood but when you and Dave lived in um stanmore and uh your electricity bill was covered under your rent yeah he was very upset with us came up and were like I have grossly underestimated the electricity you use and he was like what are all these computers oh we need those yeah all of them but but the thing is did it wasn't like your computers were like buying Bitcoin or anything they were just we didn't it was just we had servers for you know Quake servers and like kind stuff but they've also had they've had this um it was like a like a corporate Enterprise switch like it's massive like listen as a switches you know the thing that you plug your network cable into to

link all the computers together it's like a big box that goes in a rack we didn't have a I actually have that and he was just sitting on the floor in our living room which was coincidentally Above This Guy's bedroom and this thing was like like I said this is an Enterprise unit and so it had these big fans in it so when it was on it was like like you know the sound of a server room and he was like the [ __ ] are you doing up there I don't know where it is but I actually have that rack that exact one that switch that that one yeah I that switch gear Enterprise switch or something or something yeah it's like like this yeah I don't know where it is I don't know why I have it either yeah that was funny yeah he [ __ ] hated us well he hated

Dave [Laughter] yeah I remember once when uh he was home during the day and you popped home Matt to grab something from upstairs and then he rang Dave and said someone's broken into your house yes and Dave was like I think that's just Matt and he was like no no no it was he looked like Matt but he was wearing a baseball cap and he like I'm pretty sure Matt owns a baseball it's well within his prerogative to put it on occas it looks like him but he's wearing a hash I want to tell this story cun disguise I was in my room my room at in that house we so we were on the second floor the up Upper Floor and my window opened out onto like the Courtyard at the back of the house and then the our

landlord Liv below us in kind of the downstairs and I had my TV kind of set in front of the window and I had got up to do something and I put the remote on top of the TV and then there was a fly in the room and I was like [ __ ] off and I swiped at the fly to go out the window smacked the remote and the remote just went flying out the window and then down into the courtyard and I was like [ __ ] so I get up and I walk downstairs and I walk out in the backyard and my L is standing there holding this remote and just like looking up into the sky Gods Must Be Crazy and then yeah and then like he's like the [ __ ] did this come from and then like oh sorry that's mine and he was like oh yeah that makes sense that makes more sense than what off thinking he just like looking up at

the clouds like Lord what do you want me to turn on please send the [Laughter] TV oh amazing amazing um so just before we we move away from Predator um there were two other things that I liked about Predator too um one which transitions into something that we can talk about today if we want and then one that doesn't so the first one is it made me really miss Bill Paxton because Bill Paxton is in this is he chewing the scenery yes is in a completely different movie to everyone else yes is it awesome absolutely it is um and I'm miss the [ __ ] out of that guy he's he's really great he's really great that slimy weasel that he always seems to play sure but the other actor who's surprisingly

good in this is Gary Bucy and I've never in my life said you know who's a good actor Gary Bucy but he does a great job of being that kind of baddy that you love to hate but coincidentally he's in the news this week because he's apparently been sexually assaulting people at a con yeah this is just I just searched it and just all the news articles like in uh yeah that he's Monster Mania horror film this breaking news pretty much yeah now two counts of sexual assault and one count of attempted sexual assault so I assume that's oh he grabbed my twice and then try to grab them a third time I don't know what that means specifically the Philadelphia Inquirer reported that uh police Lieutenant Robert Shen said it

was about contact it was about touching okay okay but yeah it wasn't I I like cosplay is not consent no it is not you remember so I feel like I mean you should just know that people like what the [ __ ] is wrong with you but you remember like there was suddenly I think it was a Supernova one year where it was like we've decided that that's like how it is now and there were just signs everywhere and it was just like so like wait did people people not people not know that before like the [ __ ] is wrong with you people because lot of people don't see the cosplays as as like fans just it a lot of them think that some people actually think they're they're employed and they're making money from the ABS right they're just people that

are a lot of people who run around with cameras like and God well in that case I mean I take it back then I'm not complaining I just thought it was very I just remember I got the Supernova one and I just there signs everywhere and I was like who what what happened I I've seen people who like like professional set St taking photos and stuff and I've seen them sort of their attention is more to the younger cosplayers and so like here's my card would you like to come and I'll take a bit like that I'm not saying that they it's just that feeling there are professional cosplay photographers and so I can see how if you're a young cosplayer that might be a problem yes and if you're a professional cosplay photographer I guess you you do need

models probably the best way to get and it's also it's one of the things like how how can you sort of call that out I can't call that out cuz I don't know it could be completely innocent and that's what it is it's just a feeling and I can't how do I call that a feeling so I I'm so squeamish about getting photos with people I do the like celebrity fake cuddle you know what I mean like like with a hand behind them there you go yeah where you're not actually touching them but in the photo it looks like you got your arms I touch them I touch them I I touch I paid L hendri for a photo I'm touching him yeah yeah but but but my hand it's fine and and and when you but when you do go for these celebrity photos they do make it clear whether or not you you can

that I watched that disproved the the hammer Theory but they're all saying if if you know how to handle a gun you know not to put your finger on the trigger unless you're actually going to shoot it but he was acting it correct exactly right so you it's it's a slightly different protocol when you think you've got a fake gun yeah but even like if yeah it's like if I was if I had a sword and then we were practicing chopping a person in a movie like I was Samurai movie and then people like w i train all the time and we know perfectly well you shouldn't swing aort at somebody people yeah don't chop people so just don't chop them that's in most movies they just stand there and then you're supposed to use your imagination because too dangerous yeah exactly yeah yeah and Al like baln a go

and I didn't chop I was literally just standing there and just saw chopping itself yeah I just raised it up like I was going to chop and it flew and I I brought it down very fast see Alec bn's interview and now this FBI notification haven't given us anything they've confused things more they need what we should be discussing Now isn't did he pull the trigger or that it's a what that accident how yeah like who's liable for it and who is and and what's going to change to make sure this never happens again yeah because the other thing is actors are throwing up their hands going don't leave it up to me I'm not going to know the difference cuz they're like you're going have to show the actor I'm not going to [ __ ] know the difference between a blank and a bullet don't leave if you

from Marvel a little bit is when they went down that sort of series p with some of the stuff this is just a this is sort of like a dram sort of we've got it's got that feel for it I think so I'm All In All In All In All In better than first episod this is fun um I haven't watched M Marvel's I Target at a at a younger audience what yeah y I didn't mind Miss Marvel but it wasn't I thought this one was aimed at an audience with different genitals is that not the case it's just silly jokes just thr out okay okay rocked around with the Hulk in the first

episode all right and yeah it's fun how much of it watch it yeah watch all the first episode all the first only there's only one episode okay it'll be a weekly thing and so the weekly episodes will take us up so I think they've Ed it quite well so these will happen and then the week after this finishes we go straight into Andor so I've got something to watch every week for next few months do you guys see you know we talked a little about how Netflix were sheding subscribers against their will and um Disney plus now has more subscribers than Netflix which is funny because I remember when Disney plus came out and they weren't producing any content and we were like this is not going to last cuz it was just the

Mandalorian that anyone wanted to see so yeah anyway turns out people like it well I think the people are sort of finding is I can get rid of Netflix and get one or two I can get Disney plus and another streaming servers for less than paying Netflix actually I think it's worth pointing out though that you guys get a lot more on Disney plus than we do I think that is true but doesn't Disney plus over there come with Hulu or do you have to pay extt no I I pay for Hulu and I pay extra to get Disney plus okay I am annoyed at Netflix because it started autoscaling resolution based on your connection okay and I would rather be able to dial that in myself and buffer yeah um because i' I found myself

watching things on Netflix and going oh and then going to the Pirate Bay and downloading them just so I can watch them full HD yeah sure Luke um now I haven't seen She-Hulk but there's an actress called Jam Jam yes she she came I'm not sure she her character came in the very end of episode one I I quite like her she was in the good place okay I I watched the first episode of good place I didn't like it wasn't for me but um but I I hear she's a talented actress um she sustained an injury while shooting the she shehulk show um she injured her anus I think I watched a different She-Hulk than that one because I don't I watched different anus wow this this show must take a real

turn well the Hulk grows when he uh the Hulk grows when he gets angry so yeah maybe that's what happened why was he angry while he was inside her I don't know watch made she was like I want you to stop he was like episode six stick around um she said she doesn't know exactly when it was but that it was due to a rigorous combination of jiujitsu kung fu and aerial combat okay um that she sustained an injury to her sphincter okay no more specific details what does that mean being very vague about it okay all right well I wish her but the best speedy recovery jeez
