think he's still they they still refer to the ex president say the president I think he's still the president oh okay um like I think that's how it works um but he I mean he's not in prison because he's out on bail but he was arrested yes he was arrested yesterday so yeah actually took mug shots and everything yeah yeah yeah him and uh Rudy Giuliani got arrested the day before I think too oh wow so I think they were trying to be a bit careful about it because it is kind of a it's a kind of a big deal you know arresting I think this is the first pres former presid that far isn't it um maybe I don't know I don't really know yeah honestly I'm not quite sure but yeah and it's a bit it's funny it's not funny

but it's he's been saying and other people have been saying that you know it's kind of against his rights right to free speech he should be able to say whatever he wants about the election that kind of stuff but I think the problem is that doesn't count when you're asking people to do illegal things which is what he's been arrested for so my understanding is he's been arrested for trying to get like if I call you up and I go I think we should rob a bank Luke that's not covered right yeah like or or if I'm encouraging you to do it that's a crime like I'm I'm I'm involved in a crime now not just a general like yeah I'm um yeah you can say what when you're sort of conspiring to do something yeah so I think I think what he's in trouble for is trying calling up people in Georgia

and trying to get them to illegally make him the president thing he was calling there's Nuance to it that I'm not all over but think I remember he was calling up Governors and stuff saying like you have to quash this or something or trying to get people the problem is because he he he is within his rights to go and say whatever he wants right he claim whatever he wants but it's when he I think yeah the thing he's in trouble for is attempting to get people to overturn the election yeah I think that's the that's the problem is that that bit of it this one isn't actually anything to do with the riots no this is before the riots yeah he's he's in trouble for that as well but um that's that's different yeah the thing that I find most scary about all of this he still a chance of winning the

next election cuz there are still people supporting you man they had the Republican primaries last night and they asked all the people like there was I think what like seven or eight people who were all candidates to be the the Republican candidate and they said if if if he gets um he's just been arrested and all that like if he still ends up as the candidate will you support him raise your hand if you'll support him and then most people put their hands up some of them were a bit slow cuz like I think they were waiting to see what everyone else was going to do but they all in the end they all said that they would well that's the scary thing about those parties is you have to show a united front so if he is well yes we have to support him cuz that's the

thing yeah yeah it's tough cuz what are they going to do like if if he's the the one people want what are they going to do like you need to move back [Laughter] here it's getting scary over there that's a lot of effort it's too expensive there oh it is it's ridiculous here at the moment yeah y now would be the worst time to come over if you could keep your job over there and earn that money and come here you'd be laughing yeah no yeah maybe but I'd still have to buy an Australian price house that's the oh no you you couldn't do that this is I mean we don't have to go into this this is not particularly podcast topic but is it everywhere in Australia that's [ __ ] expensive or is it just Sydney because I've only ever looked in Sydney um no it's house prices

blow my mind yeah it's it is ridiculous CU everyone wants to live in the city and the you get to the most if I looked out you know I'm trying to think of an example like I don't know where I want to live up the mountains somewhere say up the Blue Mountains it' be cheaper yeah would be cheaper yeah cuz you're further away from the city but not not as much as You' probably think not as not as exponentially cheaper as you think and also you're not getting a house as big as you have now no no even double the price of what you paid yeah anyway I'm here for now we'll see what happens um we miss you yeah a miss you guys too

cuz we only get to see other years you talk to me every week what are you talking about I know but it's a bit different to talking to you to going out to the pub yeah that's true oh I miss which we probably would anyway I would go to a pub I don't have pubs here it's not the you've been to bars here it's not the same no and we're going to Scotland next month there good pubs I'm so excited to just sit at a pub and have a pint and like order a pub meal and just kind of sit in a pub like I don't know how to explain it it's just different like well I mean they don't have table service and all that stuff you go up and order but just the vibe is different because of that like the it's more laidback and stuff and I don't know that's what I feel like you can actually

just go and sit and just have a beer and that's fine yeah they have a service area at the bar where so not everybody just sits there at the [ __ ] bar and you can't I don't order a drink drives me insane here like just have a little spot that's the service area that's what we do in Australia yeah you can have you still have the stools at the bar but just have them at one section yeah don't sit here this is where we're serving customers yeah yeah I don't know cult but the one thing I do like is you can just open a tab yeah yeah you do like to drink a lot so it's just easier that way just I'll work it well I owe you later yeah yeah once I'm drunk just tell me to sign the thing and it'll although I did like it in England with the what was it

wither spoons which I know is sort of a chain thing that a lot of people aren't happy because it's sort of taking away from the local part but I could just order on the app they bring it out to you they just brought it out to me that was nice yeah but no yeah yeah no come here and we'll go to a pub all right we go to new I mean I'll be I'll be back at some point yeah I went to the toy last time we were there it's was it it's remember yeah no it's all fancy now everything's changed all the [ __ ] hole pubs we used to go to are nice now for people who don't know New Town used to be sort of a it was always a nice area but it's also a bit weird and the Towny was where you went after a gig you went to the Towny afterwards and it wasn't like like a dive bar kind of feel yeah it wasn't it

wasn't like bad or anything but it wasn't like fancy no it was like you go in you have a couple games of pool you have some drinks and yeah it's way you sort of ended your night yeah and now they're all like I they're all a bit fancy cuz New Town got fancy CU all the people from the city went there after they started closing up all the pubs early in the city anyway no one wants to hear let's talk about video games instead I like video games I know you do and I'm now gonna be playing Starfield the same time as you oh you are you decided to pre-order the well maybe not the same time as you because you're in Australia well I hope time oh see mine's already installed on my Xbox cuz I've pre-installed and this is what I'm worried about I may have to buy a second

copy just CU I could play it on time wait so you've pre-installed preinstall but the the disc is going to have the code for the upgrade so what what you can do now you can pre-install it now and you can also also buy the upgrade version which is like $50 which is what You' have done $250 something here which allows you to play on the first yeah yeah yeah I get some extra stuff that I was like sure I just want to play the [ __ ] I just want to play the game so I'm really hoping that by this time when we record next week we should have created our characters by then cuz I am going to spend a bit of time creating my character comes out in the first right yes 31st it's Friday here the first is Friday so no I probably wouldn't have played

it oh no that's right cuz you record on the Friday yeah but it might be coming out the 31st where you are maybe with that whole weird time zone thing let me have a look it is Starfield release date September 1st that's Friday oh pre-order September 6 oh wait no the pre-order yeah pre-order Starfield pre-order yeah release date good point oh September 6th is the normal date pre-order is pre-order oh what I've got is pre-order here is released pre-order 1st of September at 10:00 a.m. yeah okay well I'll be working so you'll be working oh I'll come home from work I will install it and I will send you a picture of my character okay I'll be able to play it briefly maybe in between when I finish

work and when we record can I just ask one question though well one favor can we all not marry the same person this time no guarantees mate who knows the mysteries of Love cuz I'm assuming you're going to be able to marry a character much like you have in like Skyrim and stuff and Skyrim you all just married exactly the same character that is odd cuz Skyrim is a pretty big game yeah yeah and I mean it could be because it's literally the first character that you can marry it could be but that is that could have been a factor but um yeah that was odd cuz we all did it around the same time as well which is also I try to be more Discerning this time just yep okay watch just we'll both try and be more Discerning and end up

well because it's a fun little game yeah so can you talk us through yumcha and then we'll move on to boba yeah sure so um yamar is a set collection game um it goes through the Chinese brunch called Yamcha or dimsum um and you go through collecting dimsums out of seven tiers to choose from so you got small big medium um dessert and then you got super special on top so they they're um split up according to the Yamcha menu um generally yeah so you have different te and and then you so the um you need to collect tea cards as well because you can't have yumcha without tea because tea sorry literally means to drink tea so yeah so you got to collect three sets

of um dimsums and a pair of tea That's the the game so um I guess the most P most points out of four rounds win and you win the honor to pay the bill y awesome Yep and I quite like the fact you've got like the English the English words and you've also got the translation as well so it's also teaching people I saw that that's cool yes yes master has that too I saw yeah and then I know you've just recently completed a Kickstarter for Boba Master which we've got coming out later this year I think very soon it's coming out in just yeah it's no we just fulfilled the the last um well whoever whoever's given me their address i' yes I'm one of those people who tends to

back things and then forget to send in the details later as well yeah so we've got most of everyone's um out now so yeah oh great yeah the US Canada those those people have received it all Australia received their copy excellent just the EU that's left yep okay cool and so talk us through Boba master so Boba Master this one I haven't played yet yes the new one um it's a different game completely it involves um building your bubble your favorite bubble tea from start to finish so you get an empty cup you put pearls in you put the tea you put the syrup and ice and then you top up with the lid and straw and then first one to build their favorite bubble T

first wins but what makes this different I can't say I've played any games that are very similar out there let me know if you do but what makes very unique is you can't play the games from your own hand but you have to play from someone else's hand oh okay okay blindly like yes or yeah right oh okay that's cool so you have a interesting yeah so you have a bunch of cars right I can't play cars from my own hand okay you yeah I have to play from someone else's hand or you pick like my card and then you play okay so I that's so I have to try and just randomly guess or try and work out how you're sorting your cards in your hand to try and play yes so every time before you pick up I get to shuffle

it as much as I want I was gonna say this is one of those games where you don't put them in any specific order in your hand otherwise it's gonna be too hard yeah okay that's Coy really really quickly and I recommend not playing at the library I can just imagine no that sounds great now I'm hoping you're going to have some copies at packs yes I would available excellent because I will probably I need to buy another copy of yamar because I gave my copies away but I yeah from the stand I do want to pick up a copy of this one as well yes like last year we sold out yamar by the second day so I can't guarantee this time when you come over oh I'm going to get that's awesome though congrats that's like that's yeah that's a problem you want I guess in a

way yeah yeah yeah you don't want to be taking anything home with you after something like that right yeah so I'll I'll bring another luggage this time just so I have two luggages instead of the one so yeah no that that's great I can't wait to give it a try because Matt was we were just talking before you joined and Matt's in America at the moment and he bubble te is not something he can get over there easily no I did find a place but I got cuz I I yeah when I was in Sydney I developed a taste for it as everybody does cuz it's delicious um and then over here well I'm in Rhode Island so it's just I if I was in a big city maybe it' be different but yeah around here I thought it I found I found a place but uh yeah it's like yeah not not as common here I

guess yeah Americans haven't haven't discovered the wonders of it yet it's everywhere in Australia like yeah no just came back from Perth um convention there and I was like Wow there 70 bubble stores yes yeah yep it's really blown up here but no Matt I'll get your copy of the game so at least you'll have something close to Bubble tee amazing I was going to say yeah I'm going to need one do you guys have any plans to come over to like PAX East or something like that because I'm I'm I'm near Boston wink wink you should come over try and come over it's it's a lot of work cuz yeah oh I know I'm sure it is yeah Australia and then like how do we Logistics how do I get games over there I don't maybe this isct well I was going

tried tried a couple other things and then I was like you know what a game that I liked and I haven't played and it's changed quite a lot is Destiny yep right it's been a long time since I've played Destiny I'm going to jump in and have a look at Destiny see what it's like these days how is it incomprehensible mhm I I cannot I I I it is fun so I'm going to persevere with it a little bit maybe over the weekend and just see how I go I played quite a bit of it um but it has it's because it's so old now it's like it's like what like 10 years old maybe right cuz I bought so you're Destiny one so well it's the same game right so I I bought Destiny day one on 360 I have like the the deluxe edition I

got a big box with a whole bunch of [ __ ] in it right and I I played it quite a lot like you know I was on the moon shooting things you know I got pretty i' played it a lot as well up until the point where it got to a stage where it's okay and now go and grind and play with people yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah so I obviously yeah I stopped and then Destiny 2 came out and it's more like World of Warcraft where and listeners will correct me if I'm wrong but they can't correct me too much because I go in there now and it's like the same map right the cosmo Drome and all that kind of stuff it's all the same it's been like shuffled around so like it's changed a little bit but it's kind of like they just added to it so Destiny I know it's Destiny 2 but it's like more

like they just enhanced it and yeah added more content over time and all the expansions add content that kind of stuff but like it's got to the point now where you know when you go in like World of Warcraft or kns of the Old Republic or something and you get to one of the big cities and it's just overwhelming cuz it's like oh that's the guy that lets you draw pictures on your armor that's the guy that lets you imbw the pictures that you drew on your armor with enchantment different to the different to enchanting the the the armor itself it's like an extra it's just like all this stuff yeah it's not for it's not a game you can drop in play a little bit drop out come back a couple months later Play It's you have to commit to it that's what I don't like

about those games the UI as well feels to me like they've been adding stuff so long that they've lost perspective on the fact that this is [ __ ] confusing like like like to get to find things in your in your inventory and then even the instructions it's like oh yeah try check out that new gun how the [ __ ] do I do that and okay go in the inventory and then I click on it it's like oh and then you can put mods in it and then you you click on the gun then you click why and it comes up with this whole new interface it's like it's a lot yeah no it's it's it's not for me and it's a shame cuz I did the game was fun it is fun when I just when I just shut that off and I just go play a bit it is fun so yeah I'll stick with it a little bit and just see but it's just yeah there's

a lot there oh yeah and you can do this thing too where so obviously the game world's changed right because that's the other thing that's cool about it is that it's kind of a living world and the story that happens in the game changes the world and you can't like you can't go back and play Destiny one anymore presumably because the world's different right like the the whole story line has changed and all that kind of stuff like when you load Des different what it was you're in the Citadel and then Desy 2 starts with that being destroyed and you escaping from or something I don't know cuz that's different now as well like but but but there was this thing where it said oh you can go back and do historical missions and learn about stuff in the

past again that was a bit confusing I was like what does that mean but then there's a little menu [ __ ] thing up in the corner and you go up and you can scroll back and it it's like you play through I assume that these are key moments in the story of destiny that has happened in the game over the last 10 years but it's it's all bit confusing because they don't give you full context for what it is that you're doing like there was one where I had to go back and it was like a prison break I guess and you play through trying to help uh shut down you know get all the criminals but they're not criminals they're just the the enemies that you fight so I was like who's locking these creatures up with their guns like with their weapons that they always have I

was it was all just very confusing even probably the reason why they do have the ability to replay those old things is so if there's a particular loot that was a dropping that that you still got a chance to go back and get it I feel like I think the problem is I want to know the story and I want to follow a story this is not that this is a Luda shooter that the story is there don't look at it too closely yeah but a story but yeah you need to play it at the time yeah to experience it all not cuz when you're going back you probably are missing context with other events that were happening at the same time you're just playing guess I could watch I could watch a bunch of YouTube videos

I guess but that's you should to do homework to I want to play the game yeah exactly and then I'm like also this is just filling in the gap for next week so I like maybe I'm wasting my time trying to catch up on this cuz I'm just going to forget about it next enjoying running around shooting stuff just do that yeah it's fun it is fun yeah espe it's actually fun too because I have played this before and they have moved things around and so it is fun going back and going oh I I know this place I've been here before like you know 10 years ago or whatever yeah like oh it's things have changed a little bit you know it's like pretty neat from that perspective yeah it's it's just a shame because it's a lot I can't even and I've played it

before right so I do kind of have a handle on what what things are it's just that they've bolted all this new stuff on I can't even imagine having never played this before and like loading up the game being like the [ __ ] is this yeah it's yeah you need to have played it from the start to actually have a chance it's not something I can't you couldn't be someone who's really good at it can't introduce a friend to it and go play with us and you can't jump into it cold Fe you have to explain all this stuff because you've got like special abilities and then you drill in on those and like I said they've added there's like 500 options in there well that's what they have to cuz it's a game that's a living thing where they need to keep releasing content to get more money

that's the model and yeah so for the people who are playing it they're probably loving all this drilling down [ __ ] us it's uh what's happening yeah yeah they look on and they go oh they've added all this stuff and it's exciting whereas I I look in and I'm like the [ __ ] is all this like this is why single player games are for us yeah like there's a sted follow the story did you watch that cyber Punk trailer no holding off on it man it's this update is huge there's like Dynamic missions now so basically the are infinite missions you the game doesn't doesn't end ever like you get Dynamic missions from the the cuz I haven't really looked at it do you know if I can just use my existing save

to just go into it or if it's a new um I don't know about that because the skill trees are all completely different so maybe not like they've redone all the skills and stuff so what happened was I got I know that you can skip to the DLC content you want okay cuz I know when I played the game know there's different endings to the game yep um so I finished one ending and then I I just went I'm going to stop but there's that save you've got just before you go into that final path and so I've got that save I'm do I start from there or am I going to have to start again go see Hano at emers nightclub or whatever it is that was just constantly in my [ __ ] inventory IGN the thing I'm worried about is cuz I completed every single side quest in there and so yeah you did everything

right I did everything like every single side mission you could do I've done it and so I don't want to have to start again to go and unlock cuz I've got Johnny's gun I've got I've done everything and Johnny's gun is quite powerful yeah I know I was using that too I got it's Porsche so I'm I'm looking forward to it but I'm nervous that I'm going to have to restart again I'm going to restart again so I'm I'm not nervous yeah because I intentionally did a I'm just going to do a story playthrough and then my next one is I'm going to try and do which means I'll I'll give up at some point probably and stop playing get distracted but that's why you're preparing you're getting ready for this so you're not starting anything new

because you got Starfield you're going to play Starfield for a month and then you're going to go into FY yeah y yeah where it's me I've got to play Starfield and then I've got to play for and then i' got to play Assassin's Creed I've got to play Alan Wake yeah um the actual Motorsport one it's coming out this year oh sure sure so not the Horizon one just I like the Horizon ones better personally Horizon ones are fun I don't mind the Motorsport ones and this one's evidently got more path yeah right but no the more fun it's like that Grand Turismo movie if you're good at the game they give you a job Bas a real story I know pretty wild right they did it once although it's been criticized yeah for like embellishment oh yeah it is very big

ellish I don't think the guy course it is did that great H I think he's still doing it but he wasn't like it's not like in the movie where he's going to win yeah probably and there was something to I forgot the specifics but there was I talked about this already there was there's a crash that happens someone someone either dies or gets seriously injured in a crash and they've they've juggled the timing of that in the story that in a way that annoyed people for some reason oh cuz it's no longer technically accurate but like it's a movie so it's a movie like H people's lives really not that interesting some are they they are but if you make a movie about the story how it actually happened it's it's not that interesting

know that I need that many 60 you do thanks yeah I'm happy with 30 yeah I'm preparing myself for star for Starfield 1995 this came out yeah I I didn't think I didn't have a computer that could run this when it came out I to play it my I have to play it at my friend's house I played it on a map Mac really you had a Mac or LC 575 wow man I was thinking today about um my first Mac was the G4 Tower and I was like I wish I still had that that's a [ __ ] cool computer like it's be useless but like but they were just cool like they don't make them like that anymore well I suppose the new max out but they're

forward to this it's a good time to be alive well and I know it's just a remake and but it's I I enjoyed this game and I'm finally going to get to plate in finish it instead of just the first three levels yeah as long as they have an achievement for finishing it well they're coming out on Xbox and well yeah there are some games that do release that are you don't you don't have to finish the game to get all the achievements which I hate that yeah because then you won I'll stop playing once I've got them all even though I may like the game well there's no getting me in you hear that developers so yeah they're doing they're also doing T Rock 3 man the T rock

games I think I ever played two Rock 2 I played two Ro one and I was not a fan it's dinosaur hunter right two Ro dinosaur hunter yeah I mean I just they're all just copies of Doom yeah they were but yeah two was not a fan off so I don't know how I got more but all in for Star Wars one dark Forces all the way oh have you watched sooka yet I haven't I know it's come out but I'm not really that interested because this it's not our Star Wars I've heard it's not very good well I read that it's not very good I should say haven't heard it from anybody yet I think for people who grew up watching clone wars and Rebels they're going to enjoy it yeah well this is 100% Dave filon right yeah but like aoka she was like very prominent in walls and I know

that other characters are from the rebels cartoon animated series as well two shows I've not watched so I have no connection to these characters at all this is another one of those scenarios where you now that I mean not this matters anymore with Star Wars this character was alive throughout the whole like original trilogy and didn't help at all her and Luke scar Star Killer apparent not Luke scar killer just Star Killer right what was was it Luke Star Killer the guy from Force Unleashed for Unleashed he was alive he was out there somewhere ahoko was out there somewhere like where were these all the Shad were out there but no Luke is Last Shadow well no there are ones who have had actual training years apparently apparently there's like hundreds of them

out there yeah I don't know it's just a bit weird I don't know I just I like Star Wars but I like once the extended Universe got wiped I like my Star Wars I like my Star Wars my Star Wars lives in here and it was okay that way for a long time because there were only three movies and I could just and I I don't know seems to be going because Andor was great yeah I agree give us more of that aoka I think the reason why I think Andor is great is because it's not it's not trying to throw other characters in from the past it's its own thing really yeah except he's from Rogue one well but even that is its own thing like yes Darth Vader and Princess sler are in it but they're not sure not main

characters yeah and and that's what we want I want more of more stories in the St War Universe not about the characters and I think it works but then you they're going back to because that's why Obi-Wan didn't work Bob Fett didn't work [ __ ] was great until they started doing that and then it's like now it's just like all these old characters sh look like a luk Skywalker in it it's like what is he doing in there well it's even like even the games like Battlefront 2 like remember sty War Battlefront they didn't have a it was all multiplayer there was no single player story yep Battlefront 2 there's going to be a story and it's going to be these um TIE fighter pilot who crashes ofor and they're going to go off and have their own story they throw l kusin in they

throw princess it's all like they don't need to be there yeah why are they interacting with this person yeah like even if they yes they defect and join the Rebel Alliance they don't have to meet the generals yeah Star Wars just it's not well it's not that it's not for me anymore it's not all for me anymore it used to be that it was all for me now it's not and that's what we have to understand we like some of it but we're not going to like all of it cuz they are trying to make it for everyone yeah I still think about trying to watch The Last Jedi and the rise of Skywalker again but I've watched The Last Jedi again I have not watched the rise of Skywalker I lik the rise of Sky Walker more the

first time I don't know why it's just it's just just not very good yeah the Tone's right it's just like just a bit [ __ ] like the story is stupid it is when they go to S multiple palp and then there's all these Sith all that and there's a key that's made in the shape of what the crashed death star looks like if you stand in exactly that one spot on the [ __ ] what who what AJ what are you doing it's so stupid yeah I just it's it's a shame yeah uh speaking of Shame and sci-fi it's a shame that June part two has been delayed until next year now writer strike or um I think the I think the actor strike in this case because my I think the actors can't do press for current

films during the strike and so I think that's a factor and then also probably they know they're going to be light now on stuff next year so that might be a factor as well like they not going to have movies this still many right now yeah with the strike it's going to be affecting us for a couple of years because there's going to be nothing to release so holding off on this means it's going to do quite well because yeah like if you were thinking oh they've just G on strike and all these you know Oppenheimer came out and Barbie came out everything's fine well they already had made those yes they they probably finished filming them a year or two ago like that they they could be back at work and then they'll start will start getting [ __ ] movies

that that are filler because they couldn't make any in that period oh just the the bad thing is this is where like reality TV came from this is why Kim kadashi is a star it's weird to think yeah yeah so it's uh yeah postpone till early next year and yeah I think the main thing is that you can't do press and that's not good for a big film like this is they need the ACT do press for like what 2 3 months leading up to it and yeah exactly the world talking about it and yeah exactly and if they're not doing that then it's you know what I actually I think you're you're more right it's I don't think it's the Press I think it's the fact that they're going to be they've got nothing else coming out yeah I think it's probably a

combo yeah but think yeah honestly I think with the some of press junkets they do and stuff I think you could get away with that like to some degree these days actually that's a good point because Dune part one was a simultaneous uh streaming release wasn't it wasn't that one of the ones that was on HBO I'm not sure the same time last year I think it might have been and it still I mean obviously did it right because it but like with the like press that I see I don't really see I might see a clip of something but of someone doing a press junk like I might see I've seen a couple of the rock but it's been years after the movie came out I'm not seeing them actually doing interviews for it at the time no we

aren't but like noral people might be we're not normal we're weirdos but I just I don't know if you need to do it though well I don't know I I don't know I really want to see this there so I'm bummed I don't know how you can I still don't know how you can make two long movies about a guy sitting in a room though well he leaves the room that's the problem you you didn't read far enough in the book no I've read that book like three times he sits in a room someone walks up behind him and every time he goes ah gy Harlock I knew it was you yep and then that's end the maid is like no no gie Mr Paul um I watched a movie I want to

recommend it to everybody it's riing me yeah okay definitely you this movie is very funny oh okay it's got Aquafina in it you like her don't you who's that she's the um the funny sidekick from shangi oh yes I don't mind her yeah yeah she was in this she's it's good it's about it's a comedy horror comedy in a way it's it's bit it's gory it's got a man being beaten to death with his own arms and things like that do yeah but it's about Renfield you know who Renfield is Right Dracula's yes familiar familiar the one who you wants you know where I really know Renfield from Bugs I really know him from the Leslie neelson spin-off knock off it that's where I really know Dracula Den loving it

yes what a great movie um so it's yeah it's Renfield who um he go starts going to meetings and realizes he's in an abusive relationship with Dracula and um and yeah no it's really good and then he realizes that he could actually be helping people using his powers because when he eats bugs he gets semi vampire powers and then he realizes maybe he could help people instead but then obviously that pisses off Dracula who's played by Nicholas Cage he finally gets to be a real Dracula real vampire [ __ ] great in this they have like a flashback to their to when they first met and it's literally just them

reenacting scenes from the original black and white like Bella ly Dracula it's so good he's like I remember the first day we met and it's like them doing the the scenes from the I know the drink all right wine it's so good you got to watch it it's really F I will I will try and watch it before next week highly recommend it all right yeah you sold me on it I'll say just the fact you relationship that's just Ben Schwarz is that his name yeah Ben Schwarz he's in it he's good yeah I don't mind him and uh yeah Nicholas halt as Renfield Aquafina as Rebecca and and the cage the

cage drula so good [ __ ] choose the scenery so funny that's what he does he makes that work oh speaking of uh I got hackers yes the Ultra HD version of it came out it's it just literally just came out the other day I pre-ordered it it's a new scan from the negatives of the film hackers the greatest movie of all time made in 1995 hackers saring Johnny Lee Miller and Angelina Julie um and Matthew Lillard and they've got interviews with Matthew Lillard and um Fisher Stevens who plays back for an interview no no Johnny Lee Miller and Angelina jelly weren't available but Matthew lard was talking about how he it was one of the first movies he was in and when he watches it

now he's like [ __ ] man I was so annoying because but he's really funny in it he's like he said he was really trying to make a name for himself so he was just like really overdoing it and uh yeah it's so good and he sort of did yeah yeah because he got known as that like crazy zany chewing the scenery you played the maniac in Wing Commander that's true and he was in Scream Scream as stew is he stew St I think it is Billy Billy and stew I forget so how how does it look though cuz I know sometimes when they do do a up scale it can it looks really good it looks really good I stood up and walked up to the TV no no it looks it looks

really crisp and like it's got um you know it's an old movie it doesn't have a whole well it's got visual effects but they're like corny anyway so it doesn't matter that they don't look super real and most of it is just kind of you know it's a straight filmed movie it's not yeah um yeah no it looks really good um but there's one thing I sent you guys I think I sent you guys a photo because you can read the text now on screens that you couldn't really before and you can tell that they've just got like nonsense placeholder text and and you you can just read it and it's it's quite funny and yeah cuz you read it because it was like meant to be the FBI report and it's just yeah words it was like a copy paste from the

Constitution or something it was like it was really strange and then because it was the it's it's it's Eugene the plague talking about how he's going to um change um the main character's mom's FBI file so that she's wanted for all these crimes um and then it it's got this copy paste of some legal thing that is just nonsense and then in two words just go and highlight and it's like completely irrelevant but like in the original standard definition version all you saw was like like blur and then doting and you oh oh that looks very something's happenening very looks very important it's not I always laugh at that like we're going to change the report and it's going to look at the second they go to court they're going to go we have no

like yes we' got this information on the computer but we have no idea who this person is like there's no yeah doesn't work that way oh God such a good movie though I know I've said this a million times we watch it every year on my birthday and then this year's special because it just this version of it came out so I got to watch it again but that's one of the things like it's it's not realistic but it's fun but that's thing you have when you watch a movie you have to accept you're watching a movie but the thing about hackers for me is it feels like the 990s for us like when I see what they're wearing what they're doing the scenarios with the computers and all that kind of stuff the feel of the movie is us as

teenagers yes and and this is teenagers doing doing things so that's I think that's I think that's what it is yeah like I just feel this movie just feels it's like a comfy sweater for me just sitting down watching mie yeah remembering the good old days and when it ends I have a bit of a cry because because it's over and I have to be a grown up again year and I remember that I'm in my 40s yeah that's so good yeah the clothes and everything like that it's all the stupid cuz yeah it's how we used to dress like you know like weird like yeah you know you know what we were like you know I know I know I still dress weird yeah I mean I tell I still dress like a teenager I've been told but I make it work wear it with confidence it's all

you need to do that's right all right so I need to ask this so David a he wants to be in news again evidently yeah he got some attention the other week with his um talk about so he's talking about his Suicide Squad quite a lot and still really wants the air cut to come out yeah and the News the other week from him was um James gun told him it's there will be a time for the world to see it uh don't know when that is and not James gun yeah he said that James gun said this yeah yeah yeah yeah um but now I don't know why he's in the news but he's been doing he did an interview recently where he started talking about how he uh co-wrote

or did rewrites on The Fast and Furious the first one okay um which is nothing like the current Fast and Furious movies no but he's upset because uh it's like one of the biggest franchises out there making a lot of money and he's literally getting nothing so uh he's upset about that now as well he's just very angry at Hollywood in general from the sounds of it but yes the fren is making a lot of money but stop making a lot of money because of the first one well I mean without the first one there wouldn't be a second one right I I know but the first one is well it's got the same name it's not the same movies like at all he says here

this is a quote this is David a talking when I got that script that [ __ ] was set in New York and it was all Italian kids right and I'm like bro I'm not going to take it unless I can set it in LA and make it look like the people I know in LA right okay so then I started writing in people of color writing in the street stuff writing in the culture and all the street racing you know culture stuff and that kind of thing so if that's true I mean that is what the movie is so but but that's not what the sequels are oh they are some yeah no you're right they did kind of move beyond that but I don't know he's just he's just sounds like he's pretty dirty about it whether I don't know if it's about the money he does mention the money but he also mentions that he just like the

Nar he says the narrative is that I didn't do [ __ ] so and the people are now saying that oh he didn't really he didn't really do much I think he's internalizing too much or and he's got people who are all he's very bitter I think yeah because I maybe with good reason I don't know like if this is true I can see why like I don't know this and then the suicide squad thing obviously he's obviously very upset about the suicide quad thing still be tweeting about understand past Furious I don't no because it moved on from what he wrote yeah I know but if I wrote something well he didn't write it sorry to be clear he was given a script and then he rewrote it yes so um and he's

saying significantly fair enough um I don't know I'd be annoyed but if the if the series had still continued on with the way the first move was like an undercover cop and stuff like that yeah now they're yeah they got weird International Spy Chasers or I don't understand there submarines and I haven't watched them in a while so I don't remember they nothing to do with the original premise I'm probably not alone in this but I mostly just remember the things that blew up or crashed I don't really remember the plot I don't think it is a plot anymore I remember Ronda Rousey and Michelle Rodriguez fighting I remember they jumped a car between two buildings in Dubai that was cool uh yeah I don't remember the plot

though I don't remember why they did those things so see I I think you should be happy cuz I think the first moov you had a plot I remember in one thing literally the only thing about Hobs versus sh that I remember is that bit where they get to the Jason stam's house and he says the Rocks dressed inappropriately for whatever they're going to be doing and he he goes I'll L your suit you might find it a bit roomy around the balls though I thought that's very funny that's a good line look I'm I I'm also a bit hesitant for if we will actually give see the aircut according to what James gun allegedly said to him because this films a little bit like Ryan Johnson with his Star Wars Trilogy that he's getting where he's the only one that ever seems

to bring it up every now and again well they asked Kathleen Kennedy and she said oh he's he's too busy to do it it's like is he is he because he seems to talk about a lot H keeps mentioning it yeah I don't know I'm interested to see that air cut the the most recent thing was because he posted a photo of um Jared Leto in the maker and everything MH and was like oh this is what it was supposed to be and then everyone's like that is what it was and he's like yeah I know but they did it wrong what I just want to release it to see like if it is what he's saying it was or if it is yeah I'd watch it just based on I mean I watch the SN cut oh we got some Zack Snider news too but yeah I'd watch it on that basis

yeah was a pro yeah like if they do release it I'm watching it I'm not going to pay to watch it I'll watch for free on streaming service I'm not going to the movies to see it um speaking of Zack Snider did you just watch the trailer for his new movie no I'm surprised this is this is a Netflix thing it's a rebel moon it's a science fiction thing it looks I mean the it looks pretty but I can't detach you know when I watch this I'm like a Zack s i directed it so this is going to just overwhelm me and I'm not going to care about anything cuz that's how I feel about I don't know when I watch his movies I'm just like it's yeah

Man of Steel I was like man of steel oh it's pretty good and then it looks very pretty and interesting it reminds me a bit of um was the one that W chasis did and it was just very like creative and interesting but then the movie actually wasn't very good it looked Jupiter Ascending oh yeah Jupiter Ascending the one with um munas yeah yeah enchating yeah I can see I can see yeah what how you think that some of the scenes I went oh this looks good then others are going oh yeah it looks like so the thing I noticed when I watched this trailer is that it's the opening stuff was like oh this is Gladiator I've seen this it's but oh it's been in space though and then I was like oh this is Batman where

he's talking about how a symbol is you know a man could be killed but a symbol as you know yeah it lives on and and then I don't know it's just like oh this is just a mashup of five movies but like put in space Oh so it's two-part movies so we get the first one in December and then the second one in April yeah and it's just on Netflix which is interesting because just because when you watch the trailer you it looks like something that you'd want to see in a theater like you know what I mean like it's a big Blockbuster looking thing but then I guess um the SN cut was only on streaming so I'm just looking special effects I think maybe the reason

why I don't think the special effects are quite oh you think they're small screen yeah not big screen special effects yeah I'm just looking at one scene with like Stormtroopers walking around no and then yeah no it's sport screen special effects which Henry Cav back in it that's a shame small screen special effects have been looking better lately than movies for a while like the Star Wars stuff is amazing TV is really good at the moment I got to say and which which is good for me because I can't go to the movies but I do I still do love a good movie you know yes but I I've when I was working part time I've gone back to fulltime at work

but I was having every Wednesday and I went every Wednesday I'm going to go see a movie it lasted about 3 weeks cuz like Oppenheimer came out and oh yeah saw that Barbie Transformers but then everything just stopped like there's nothing yeah I went sort of Meg to because oh yeah just something to watch not good no I watched the trailer and I was like nope but I was forcing myself to go stupid the first every week nothing there hang on did you watch the first Meg or did you only watch the second one I only watched the second one I didn't think you had to watch the first one to really understand no I suppose not that is quite funny though probably could have but like I could have gone see gr Turismo but I didn't want to

because huh I would rather see that than the make Toom Camp it's great is Mo yeah Sony oh I didn't get achievements this is a fanboy thing also thought I thought you were better than that no it's I'm not a big fan of watching car racing I like watching trashes that's you like The Fast and Furious not actually I've only ever seen the first fast and fr Furious I've never seen any of the others saw that the [ __ ] movie but I've seen the trailers for all of them and I'm pretty sure I can work out what the movie is the one still talking about this the the one that

um um James Juan did I think it's the seventh toy D oh no no no it's like fast seven or something like I don't know it's very good and it's not it's terrible but it's funny as hell the one where the Rock is in hospital with like a cast on his arm and he's his daughter's there and then he sees this drone shooting up the city and he walks over to the window and he goes honey daddy's got to go to work and he flexes and the car bursts off his arm it's so good that's so stupid yeah I know but that's that's what I mean though that movie Just embraced that stupid stuff it was really funny and good it was good okay like he just did didn't take itself too

seriously yeah Daddy's got to go to work so good yep I've just I've just W my bone to heal itself yep yep what the muscles just going to hold it in place now yeah it's the rock so I think he's like Wolverine yes he's got the powers of a rock I've never understood can you smell what The Rock is cooking I've never understood that from when he first started with wrestling like what does that mean yeah yeah like can you smell what The Rock is cooking what like did he used to he used to let that cheeky fart while he was wrestling is that maybe that's what they I give you the eyebrow you go oh no he's he's about to squeeze one
