it's fine by me if no one listens yeah I'm always shocked when someone writes in yeah so thank you listeners and thank you Watchers of isman uh that was fun I it was fun yeah I I'd say we do more videos like that but um none of us live in the same country anymore so it's not going to makes it a little hard that was also that that was the the night we recorded that is also the night I got engaged oh yeah okay interesting did we know that at the time or was that something you sprung on us later no well the thing is we recorded it and then I drove home and then oh and and then got engaged to camera and then proposed to me oh you were proposed to yeah of course right I also forgot that detail of course I forgotten that as well so it wasn't something I could give

you a heads up that was going to happen because I didn't know had she planned that or was she just so overwhelmed by watching uh by watching the speak with yeah that she was like I've got a lot this man down I think that was that was her last chance to sort of get out of it really you think about it like she knew what she was getting into then oh yeah after that I mean that's the test for sure I don't know that she did in total come on Luke likes to leave some things uh to be discovered along the way I like to think of an open book yeah you are but then you're notorious and I don't mean this in a bad way CU sometimes it's amusing you are notoriously light on details in all

situations yeah that's right however an open book but a particularly short book a very vague book that but you don't notice that it's vague until later when you get home and you sit down and someone goes uh oh you know how's Luke oh he's good what's he been up to I don't know yeah I have no [ __ ] idea we talked and I'm sure I'm sure I asked but I don't know yeah or when you're getting up to make a speech at Luke's wedding about uh about how they met and fell in love and you realize you know practically nothing about Luke maybe that I mean maybe that's just us Dan maybe we're just bad friends you're saying we're

just terrible friends it's possible wouldn't surprise me if we highly possible I have always been good around giving enough information that people are happy but then not actually giving anything away at the same time you would actually be really good in advertising really yeah I think you could be an advertising copywriter just giving the people just enough information that they are interested in the product but not bombarding them with facts about what it'll actually do and and distracting them with something shiny to like to direct away from that like a silly hat speaking of hats Luke are we all locked in for doing our uh our hat making course in Paris there's only one thing I need to ask do you want to do it

afternoon do you think or evening oh uh I'm thinking afternoon sure afternoon sounds fine and we can go and have dinner and drinks in the evening wearing our hats yes exactly all right I will get that organized very good then I'm going to have a green one I purchased uh you guys probably saw in the snap I purchased some clothing this week you sure did man it was a it was a it was a choice man so you know we have Renaissance Fairs here and I I think they're fun make excuses no no it's not an excuse I I purchased some some Renaissance clothes and so uh they arrived on Friday and I I popped one of my shirts on one of my Renaissance shirts on and uh and then we had some

people around people hopped around for dinner and no one said anything for a while and then at one point I was like oh what do you think of my uh Renaissance shirt and um Jenna's sister goes oh you know actually I um I I didn't really notice uh I was just oh yeah M wearing a funny shirt like well what does that say about me mhm well it just means that that the it suits you if people don't think anything of it that's now your style and I'll be honest Matt I mean I noticed the shirt 100% but I didn't know you were going to a renaissance fair I thought you were just like [ __ ] it I'm doing the sh at the time I was at the time I was just like [ __ ] it I'm wearing this now they're very comfortable have you know very comfortable well qu said to me like

are they having a costume party I said no I don't think so no I thought nothing of the shirt no I just I don't think I wasn't I just yeah I just assumed that was just a shirt you're wearing I think we need to get a picture up on the uh on the multiple nerd gasm Instagram for the listeners to check it out that's uh MTI ner gasm two shirts I bought need to get some pants to go with them now yeah probably need some pants well you're not wearing pants either I was just wearing jeans I think maybe they're more concerned about you not wearing pants do they have pants in Renaissance you just needs think oh yeah some tights I have of a black leggings

okay is there a a funny design on them uh I've got a few pairs but yes they have I mean they're not I don't think they're they're not funny they're just sorry I didn't mean to imply yeah sure I'm coming across all wrong here Matt but I I didn't mean to be condescending I just mean like they've all got wacky stuff on the uh Black Milk clothing articles right well they've got but you know one of them's got like uh the playing card symbols and some skulls on it and uh I've got I don't know I've got I've got a few of them like there the ones I wore when we went to Rocky Horror uh that are kind of like it's like they're ripped little holes all through them and stuff yeah I got a bunch a couple pairs of luk did you ever think that it would get to a point where

Matt's wardrobe included ripped leggings cuz I didn't no no I've had him for a while I mean pot I may have I may have obtained them when we lived together then yeah right I mean that's been a while that's cool man I'm I'm down with that just didn't know yeah well cuz we didn't really we didn't bother to wear clothes at home often when that is true that very true cuz why would you I know yeah why would you why would you wait well when guess came around obviously but yeah depends on the guest obviously not Luke yeah no he's not a guest but tell you what there's only L anyway he just shows up no one ever I just magically leave he insists that you don't yeah that's right spoil all there's only one

person you need to like your clothes and that's you yeah that's a good point yeah Luke should start making those little motivational posters for um tweens to put on Instagram imagine tween sharing pictures of Luke little motiv only person who has to like your clothing is you yep that's true yep agree a photo of Luke in a trench coat at Disneyland yeah worry what the kids parents think it only matters what you think I don't know why I did that I don't either it was very funny though I think it's because we'd only sort of just got there from where it was still snowing yes and I I just thought it was going to be cold so I put the jacket on mhm MH but I

haven't worn since we got back just to be clear it's Califoria full length trench coat you're talking about the behind Disneyland oh okay Florida oh also a place in the tropics that does not get cold yeah okay yeah exactly a very humid hot place mhm mhm we've got some uh this this been some news this week uh Luke's starting a new business uh inspired by uh someone that I never expected to get as famous as she has she started popping up on Reddit and then it's kind of just blown up because I don't know I almost almost genius to be honest what she's up to say I don't I don't know if I'd necessarily use that word but uh there's certainly something isn't there yep yep she's taking advantage of of of a of a need

out there apparently who knew who knew who knew that people need needed to drink well not drink it says don't drink people who people wanted her bath water talking about Bel deline if you don't know who that is uh Google or just quite who she is she's just from Eng really know who she is outside of her selling her own bath water um and we now know the price as well uh it's come out 30 bucks for a bit of beline bath water 30 bucks all right so I'm going to sell mine for cheap that's fair so what's what's your what's the name of your company first uh can I just go off multiple no oh sure I suppose just pop it up on the on the store yeah I don't know I don't know if um T public uh do the print on demand bath water or or bathe on demand I guess it would be bathe on demand yeah

that's the thing are you just collecting all bath water now or will you do custom bath water it's going to it's going to be per order so it's always going to be fresh [Laughter] oh so Bel doine is is just some girl I guess who was on Instagram and uh and she I guess trolls people young I guess young men of like her cuz she's cute and she she doesn't give up the goods but she pretends like she's going to give up the goods I guess that's the point of it right that's why this is that's why this is happening like she said I don't know I've not seen enough to know that but she did I've reading an article today

that she was caught selling caught out selling naked photos but they weren't of her yeah that's what I mean people were giving her money thinking they were getting photos to her and then her excuse was oh sorry I keep all my not safe for work stuff in the one folder and I just must have copied the wrong photos and it's sort of yeah you if you got photos of yourself though that you're going to be selling you're not just throwing them in some folder with everything else you download off the internet well she said that she was going to put up uh if if an Instagram post got you know 2 million likes or something she would post um a video on PornHub and so it got all these likes so she put up she put up a bunch of videos uh I can't remember all of them one of

them was um it was uh PewDiePie inside Bel Deli and it was just a video of her eating a photo of PewDiePie and um it's pretty funny maybe she is a genius Matt I'm coming around to your point of view I like I said I think [ __ ] good honor take it if you're stupid enough to spend $30 on her bath water [ __ ] more power to her honestly didn't she just she sold out didn't she she sold out I don't know did did she sell out of bath water or I thought you me like she's phally sold out yeah oh she's fighting the living off your you have sold out I used to believe in you yes M she she's given up 99% of the goods if you go to [ __ ] Google image search so I don't know why I mean for a

little more cuz she has a patreon and then I think she has like you can if you pay on patreon you can sign up to a Snapchat but my understanding is that she just yeah she's not really showing anything that you couldn't easily just Google like I just don't know why you get sucker into this man I mean she looks like a clone of every other girl out there even right down to the [ __ ] pink baby pink hair that they all have I don't I don't quite get it but whatever people like her I guess I guess and you know what like what you want spend your hard-earned money on what you want um but yeah hats off to this girl who's making a living out of selling her bath water yeah yep who's the fool here she sits at home yeah has a bath and then makes money off

it yeah and this isn't even like those girls in Japan who sell their underwear and have to like wear it around and then like every time you sell a pair you no longer have a pair to sell I mean you could just she's [ __ ] putting water in jars and selling them for $30 each well this article that I popped in here was most it was um there was somebody on Reddit said that they had the water d tested and it showed no human DNA and they were they were claiming that she's a fraud but then at the time apparently she hadn't even shipped the water out and it was this whole big thing I'm just like why is everyone what it just stop this is going too far like yeah who cares if it's really her bath water or not the whole thing is stupid like trust me there'll be DNA in the vials I send

out it's ridiculous what are you going to do with oh and the the bath water comes with a warning that it's not for consumption it's only for sentimental purposes oh God please drinking this but I guess that's no different to buying somebody's autograph is it I think it's a bit different isn't it um is it it's it's along the same lines really I think you might be right maybe like if you like something you want a little something from them like what if you bought a lock of their hair if you bought a lock of this girl's pink candy floss hair yeah wig yeah I was say another thing she could just Mass produce really yeah um you know is that any different to buying a little tub of her bath water yeah I suppose not is it to put in your own bath maybe you know what I mean

skills like yeah because she's she is only like 18 19 isn't she she's uh very young I think so I believe yeah I'm not sure and then if if she doesn't sort of get any skills and this is what she does and then in five years time where she's going to drop out of University I didn't have any bable skills when I was so you know she can make if she can make a decent amount of money off of this in the meantime she may not even need a job when she's that age yeah well it's the weird thing like a lot of these celebrities like YouTube celebrities they're not actually it's not a lot of money in it no no that's very true like you've got the fame behind it but you don't actually have that money where you can go buy a million dollar house or anything well we've talked about this

kind of thing a lot of them have day jobs as well you just don't realize it cuz they don't talk about that cuz it's not the Persona interesting it's like people in bands I've found out the the a lot of metal bands like a lot of metal bands bands that you wouldn't wouldn't expect like uh Testament like I mean they're not huge but they're pretty famous metal band jobs they love day jobs they can't afford to just be in the band because they don't make any [ __ ] money and it's sort of one of things and it has to sort of they have to try and also find a flexible job where it's oh by the way I'm going to go on tour for three months um the guitarist for Machine Head uh he he's a mechanic they touring and he's a mechanic like yeah until you discover

your your your bath water you're going to have to you just have to work a day job as well well I've got my bath water yeah I mean I guess the dream the dream is to make money off your own bath water but uh yeah you know until then keep reaching for that rainbow well the British dream I guess I think she's British I believe so so I tried something new this week uh or more to the point I tried to force somebody else to try something new you uh was it your bath water yeah no no we don't have a bathtub here uh not really a not really a thing here yeah I would have thought it was yeah no uh so I uh H was away with the her she wolf pack last weekend and they they ended up playing a card

game that she enjoyed which was a uh it's it's a it's actually quite good she taught me how to play it when she got home and it's like this kind of Monopoly card game and it's all backstabbing and quite fun so I took the opportunity to be like well if you're now into role playing card games like we can just [ __ ] expand this infinitely outwards right so um so uh so I threw her straight into munchkin uh that very night um and I realized that um unless you have like a solid background of playing roleplaying games and things like uh Dungeons and Dragons things like that um the the Nuance of the humor Ed

munchkin uh gets lost a little yeah right okay so I've never thought of that before yeah so so I'm like [ __ ] look at this and she's like what does this even mean like I found myself not only having to explain the actions of the game but also the point of the game and also why it was even relevant in a more philosophical sense you know that's really interesting yeah but I suppose without the context of I know fantasy yes like and and and then without that it it made me kind of really take an introspective look at the genre take a look at yourself Dan no but like I mean look I got no you know I got no quals I'm a nerd you know what I mean I don't care who knows but like trying to explain to someone like why it was

fun to do this was a challenge if if they didn't just find it Fun by default you know what I mean yeah maybe you could try and get one of the other versions of munchin I said that too I said there's so many versions like you know what do you like we could we could try to find something but uh you know monopo munchkin yeah well we we played uh board games once a week well we we still do here but but back in Sydney we didn't you came a few couple times Dan and we invited people at times and some people just just aren't into it you know it just happens and then sometimes they'll really latch on to a game and then other times you be like oh you like that one you like this one and then they're just

like I don't [ __ ] get it I don't get it it's tough yeah I mean there was one point we were playing and um well you know you know the rules of munkin pretty well I assume probably do too and um so at one point you know she kicked open the door it's a monster there and she's like and she picks up a race card and just goes I'll send a dwarf in and I'm like no but she's like well hold on hold on how could you use this potion and a ring and this and this and this and I can't send a dwarf in you know what I mean and I didn't I didn't have an answer for it it was a valid question fair enough fair enough so I got the dwarf here why can't I just send him in so I I'm going to feeling you're not going to be playing that game again

anytime soon unfortunately no and we had some people over on the weekend cuz apparently this [ __ ] Monopoly game is just gone massive right now and like people came out of to our house to play it and uh and I was telling everyone about munchkin and trying to like segue into uh try to get you know maybe here maybe you could come back later in the week uh let me just tell you a little about you know I felt like a [ __ ] Jehovah's Witness knocking on people's do honestly yeah what's like when um I found mostly in a positive way people don't know what Dungeons and Dragons is and so I've had a few people I've said oh yeah we play Dungeons and Dragons and they're like oh what is that and I'm like oh come along and play and usually they're like absolutely not that's

terrifying but I've had a few people come uh and like you know like even people who who are now part of the the group I play with who who were like sort of interested and then like I guess I'll try it out and then once it kind of clicks and you realize like I can do anything like it we're just yeah acting out a movie basically and you can just say what you want to do and then together we make up what happens it's like some switch Flix and cuz it sounds kind of silly yeah if you're a very serious adult it's not it's [ __ ] awesome well there's this web series that Gordon worked on where it's about a new player coming into a d and d game it's it's not licensed so I don't think they say D and D but um he doesn't get it either but all the shit's

happening around him like with like really lame people with plastic swords and stuff and then as soon as he like lets go and Embraces the concept of it then suddenly everyone around him's got real weapons and and all this cool [ __ ] going on around but that actually is kind of how it feels when you play absolutely yeah once you realize how it works it's like [ __ ] awesome have you seen do you remember that I think it's a French video that was on YouTube or whatever about the guy who um who Waits until all the other party members are asleep and then he [ __ ] them and steals all their [ __ ] yeah roll the dice to see if I [ __ ] you yeah it's like you no roll to see if you wake up and then he's like I roll the one he's like you don't wake up and

like so good and because it's actually cutting to uh it's cutting to reenactments of it as well yeah is it the same one yeah yeah French one yeah yeah yeah it is a totally French one it's very fun so good what because the performances in it are very good yeah cuz he turns out with beer and stuff and the other guys are like really serious and they're like GH we don't drink when we play yeah well that was going to be my other point it depends how serious you take it and I think in some ways the more serious you take it the more fun it is and with other groups the less serious you take the more fun it is so it's just you have to read the room as well Yeah you sort of have to find that middle ground though you need to yeah be flexible with it but but you also need to stick

to the whole what's the word I'm looking for no I'm just cutting you off it stick to the hole and I'm just going to leave it stick to the hole y yeah yeah the well D and D if if you're playing D and D you've got like there's a a world that already exists and it's got like rules of how things work and that and so like you can only go so silly I guess without kind of breaking the the world Matt Matt we have proved that that's not the case we have 100% proved that that is not even remotely the case yeah fair enough Fair Point hey I did some homework this week oh go on I uh you guys do we need to play the T Toy News jingle well well maybe we'll get to that um no oo uh I did some homework and I watched uh I watched

Rocky cuz you guys said that I really should do that but not only did I watch Rocky I watched two of the sequels so far and I'm going to keep going you're up to Rocky 3 with Rocky 4 yeah I watched Rocky 3 yes exactly um so the what did you think I I made a couple notes um the first one I really liked I enjoyed it a lot uh I thought uh Stallone was really good in it actually mhm uh surprisingly good CU it was basically like it was a character cuz he wrote it it was a character that he could play well yeah yes he's like he's a nice guy but he's also kind of a douchebag he's not like perfect like actually none of the characters are they're all interesting characters I think that's probably why

it's a like kind of a classic film is everybody's a bit [ __ ] in it like yeah that's right underworld low life and and just to remind you uh it was it was up for nine Academy Awards uh the year that it came out and I even think maybe it one best picture yeah no I could see that it it was it well done yeah and then you get to the sequels so the second one I also enjoyed but I found it to be quite a bit more on the nose than the original cuz the original was like almost believable but not not quite but almost like a lot of stuff has to line up coincidentally for for things to happen the way they do like um he doesn't win right he just

lasts yeah sorry spoilers he doesn't win he just he just he just doesn't get knocked out and then at the end Apollo still wins but he doesn't get knocked out by the chance that's right yeah and it's only because he works his ass off and Apollo doesn't take him seriously but in the second one he and Adan have a have a b spoilers have a baby and then he's not sure what he's going to do cuz he maybe doesn't want to fight anymore he's not training properly and at the last minute he pulls it together meanwhile Apollo's [ __ ] pushing himself and training because he doesn't want to get doesn't want to get shown up again and but then Rocky still wins like I don't know it's just I was like okay yeah cuz basically from the second one

on Rocky can't lose yeah why would you go and see a Rocky movie if he didn't win at the end but I like the stuff about him getting too famous too quickly and then like he buys a car and all this dumb [ __ ] and he's just being like a [ __ ] and he's all he's terrible in all the TV commercials he tries to do and stuff I like I love one where they build a statue of him no that's in the third one and I there's something funny about that too that I wanted to talk about but my favorite scene in the second one is Adrian's in hospital in a coma because yeah of complications for the pregnancy and she's going to maybe going to die and Rocky's in the chapel in the hospital he's freaking out and then Mick his coach comes in and says the P you doing

it here mate [ __ ] forget your wife and child you got to fight Apollo Creed tomorrow what are you doing get your priorities straight that made me laugh like all right yeah I feel like moment it had like a mixed message in that sense I thought the film in general that was like how's he going to choose like choose your [ __ ] wife yeah what do you mean how's he going to choose yeah and then the third one the third one is the first appearance Mr yeah Mr T Mr T is [ __ ] awful in it he's [ __ ] awful as we discovered last week this was Mr T's first acting role and it was written for him by Sylvester Stallone mhm so I'm not super surprised that he's not better in it than you were expecting yeah that's fair this one was directed

by Stallone as well and its tone is quite different yep I was confused at the start because Rocky is now just the best boxer the world champion is just beating everybody and I was like when did that become a thing he was not the best it was like yeah hard work and and luck that that that made him win and then that all just got dropped but then it got revealed that his coach is kind of controlling who he was going to fight so I was like in this is in the third one I was like oh okay so it was kind of they were making it so that he was the best so okay yeah but then he has that [ __ ] fight with Hulk Hogan do you remember that God I don't oh yeah it's

[ __ ] bizarre I forg he was in it I the whole time it was happening I thought oh this is just a setup and they're going to reveal that Rocky and everybody was in on this because he like he's doing this match and then Hulk hog comes in and Hulk Hogan is revealed to actually just be a [ __ ] murderous psychopath and so he's trying to strangle Rocky oh yes and and Paulie Rocky's friend comes in and smashes Hulk Hogan with a chair and then hul Hogan punches him in the face and then the [ __ ] cops come in Hulk Hogan's punching out the cops and throwing them out of the ring and I was like oh this this they're not going to expect me to believe that this is real no that's part that's apparently that really happened in the story of Rocky Hulk Hogan [ __ ]

tried to murder a bunch of people yeah the first two are pretty good and then the third one just starts to starts yeah go off on its own track exactly I'm looking forward to you watching the fourth one how many are there I can't even I mean not including the the newer ones which are actually not bad five they Circle back around in a way I think there's six now you've got Dolph lungren still coming up right yeah he's number four and then there was Rocky five and then there was that Rocky movie that came out a few years ago yeah Rocky B right yeah yeah so that's that's actually number six I didn't mind that one on the topic of the statue right they they make a statue of him in the third one and Y when they're unveiling the statue

there's a marching band that is playing the Rocky theme music and I was like Wow meta yeah so not only is it the theme for the movie in the world of the movie it's his theme and it exists in the fiction which is a bizarre twist that I did not see I love that that's great you know what I've never thought of that before yeah it you just sort of accept it because that's that's his music yeah soon but I guess because I watched them like back to back I'm more aware of that kind of stuff I didn't just accept it and then they started playing it and I was like wait a minute how do they know I love stuff like that you know like it's like in uh you know the in The Avengers uh one of the I can't remember which one but uh it might even be the first one where Captain

America has his list of movies he wants to watch and Star Wars is on it which means yes like there can never be a crossover because the movie Star Wars exists in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a yeah as a as a f as a movie yeah that's right y yeah well shut themselves on foot there Disney I I I reread um uh Herbert West reanimator um recently oh yeah and um uh which which I believe that Lovecraft the author himself hated so I feel weird for liking it but uh it's quite good but uh but I think it must take place in a world where the novel Frankenstein was never a thing because no one says this is basically happening exactly like in that novel

Frankenstein sure you know what I mean yeah pretty sure there was probably even the first at least of the Frankenstein movies that had come out by that point too that somebody might have gone you know what you're doing it's very similar to what they do in that book and movie yeah the uh Curious Case of Charles Dexter Ward is a is a good one too oh but again they're all they're all kind of similar in theme very very but uh well so I do look looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the rest of the movies yeah I know I I will just apologize for having to sit through number four well from what four is the one I'm most familiar with from pop culture cuz I know it's got Dolph ler in it and I know what happens like vaguely

I know some I know something that's going to happen in it that that upsets Rocky because just cuz that's a thing that I know I've absorbed over the years because but not also I got to say who like clearly Stallone wrote and directed this film right so Stallone presuma thought I don't know when Rocky 3 was made in the 80s probably he thought that that scene with Apollo Creed and Rocky at the beach beach was just two guys having a laugh and it was not I mean not that like not that I have any problem with with with a portrayal of of a gay couple in a film but he did not think that's what that was yeah because that was just in the 80s as far as I as far as I know that scene is so odd so it's it's it's odd to think that you would film a scene in your own movie

where you and another man uh playing in the surf together and like [ __ ] it's just odd kissing and laughing and touching kissing they're not kissing but they are they are like embracing and like slapping and it's just very I was just like and it's fing slow motion as well and I was just like they're not wearing top yeah exactly like I'm not like I have no problem with with them if they if they were a gay couple in the film fine but that's not what he was going for and it's like who the [ __ ] nobody said I think it might make it seem like they're in love when you when you put this scene in the film cuz it sure [ __ ] does so well maybe they were it's also a bit at the start of

Rocky 3 where it's Paulie's birthday and they buy him a robot you remember that oh yeah that's [ __ ] weird too I do not remember I think that's more so just showing how they're just blowing money yeah I do yes absolutely but like but that's still that robot people thought robots were going to be a thing in the80s yeah cuz they he offers to clean up the birthday cake this I'm like robot I tell you it's a [ __ ] hideous alien robot thing yeah that's what they buy him for his birthday also I love Paulie's character throughout the film how he's always just a [ __ ] greedy prick who like hassles Rocky for money because he he in that scene with the robot he's like what is this I wanted a sports car like [ __ ] off

yeah anyway I'm enjoying them on on many levels I'm enjoying them so I actually caught up on a movie that you recommended Matt um oh yeah actually I can't remember if you recommended but you certainly did review it on this podcast um I watched a little I guess it a film you'd call it not a movie it's a film um it's called geostorm yeah yeah yeah yeah Geor watch name think [ __ ] well you know it's like what what it says on the t is what you get inside you know the light on the plot don't don't think about it too much enjoy enjoy the man running away from a [ __ ] volcano or driving away from yeah yeah enjoy

enjoy not so subtle foreshadowing of the end at the start where they basically lay out everything that's going to happen later in the film and then follow that trajectory exactly um but you know ger Butler can really sell an idea you know yep it is what it is it certainly is certainly is I uh I actually don't really remember the plot of it very much I just remember that I you know I didn't hate it it was just it was fine do you know what I I watched we were at a friend's place and um they had uh on the background cuz SC kids were watching uh Battleship right and oh yes I haven't seen it but I was actually distracted by it because I was like I think I want to watch that like it's not as terrible as you think it even if it is terrible it

looks interesting in in in a way that I was like wait a minute the [ __ ] is going on in this movie I need to watch it to figure out what the [ __ ] is happening because it's certainly not what I would expect a battleship movie to be and I know that Dave reviewed it back in the day on this podcast and he probably said all of that but I guess I've forgotten that it was about aliens it's about aliens yes yes I forgot it was about aliens too so and and a ship with no radar and they have to just uh guess the coordinates yes yeah they create a scenario where they have to play Battleship in real life with these aliens and it stars Rihanna it does she was actually quite good in it okay yeah yeah I mean no reason why she shouldn't have been fair

enough yeah so I might I might watch that at some point just just out of curiosity like actually I was distracted by it I was like sorry I'm surprisingly interested by this film that's great well I support you catching up on a film that interests you met and I think I'm going to watch geostorm this week do it yeah do it something else that I've been watching is stranger things 3 and uh I'm only halfway through so I I don't want to get any spoilers uh okay but [ __ ] I'm loving this [ __ ] man yeah I've watched we watched it all we binged it the other weekend I think this is stronger than the second season I agree and the reason I think that um is because the the first season was great and then the second season was

stranger things Season 1 Part Two and that's fine yes uh I think the one thing that really killed the second season was when she went to the city y for a few episodes stop the story dead they tried a lot of stuff didn't work no and they've just gone back to basics this is you know a new story uh where the characters have new motivations and uh new stakes and it's just working so well I'm so into it yeah it's really it's that's really good [ __ ] I love Billy he's such a douche I hated him in the second season I actually quite like I as soon as he showed up in I mean you've obviously seen the first episode so you know he's in it but I was just like yeah I feel like they used him better yeah but what isn't Steve just the nicest guy in the world the thing

they did that with Steve between seasons one and two yeah now he's great I love that that whole him and Robin the girl at the yeah ice cream stand and um yeah dun dun or Dustin dun dun Dustin Dustin Dustin Dustin dun Dustin yeah but I'm interested to see sort of cuz I yeah well we'll discuss it more once for the listeners and yeah but no no I'm just I'm I'm they haven't officially announced season 4 yet but there's no way they're not going to make itag they decide not to do one yeah be surprised if they didn't although the the kids are getting a bit old old like I mean not because they're growing up as [ __ ] kids do but also I think like cuz there's sequences where they

flashback to season one and they look very different not different but just yeah yeah it's noticeably been a long time I think remember originally there was going to like a 10e gap between season 1 and season two like season 2 was meant to be in the '90s two wasn't even going to have them yeah yeah know we love the kids we want them back so maybe now they might when they do do for it might they it might be a thing where we might have to wait an extra year and then they do do it as bit of a time Jump type of thing yeah that could work yeah possible cuz waiting 2 years for a television show it's not unheard of now like Westworld yeah I got to watch a year in between season you know they're here right now in Singapore shooting for the third season

oh are they yeah I think it must have something to do with the future world right because you live in the future there cuz I live in a yeah a place that looks like you know those kind of places that people in the white suits walk around in Sci-Fi movies your apartment yeah my apartment there a lab it's because of all these test tubes I keep around the place probably yeah that's right hey uh are you going to buy another Nintendo switch Luke so it can sit next to the other Nintendo switch that I don't use they've announced uh might pass on it yeah uh I'm I'm interested in it but I uh I don't need it so I don't think I'll buy one but yeah I find this one a little bit odd that they've released

like the the light version where the controller the handle the controls stay attached like they don't disconnect at all and you can't a lot of games actually require that I told they announced it right now I was telling Jenna and I said oh it's like a it's a switch that you can't plug into the TV and the controllers don't come off and that and she said well it's not a [ __ ] switch then is it like good point it doesn't switch it doesn't switch it doesn't switch it's just it's just this is replacing the 3DS yeah well apparently it's not replacing 3DS they've been very adamant about that it's just a next another another way to play the switch Nintendo's vague about all this [ __ ] apparently the 3DS is still

going okay but yeah it's uh slightly smaller and it's got better battery life cuz it doesn't have the controllers that can come off so I guess there's more space to make a battery bigger and also the screen's smaller and it's just a portable one which I mean it's already portable but it's more portable you can put it in a pocket I wonder can you connect controllers to it yes you can you can yes okay so you can still do that like let's all just gather around and we'll play well together type of thing oh yeah but just on the small screen yeah and not use the controllers that are on it yeah yeah yes I believe that's the case and uh I don't know I when Witcher three comes out I guess I'll know whether I need this or not cuz I'm

probably going to be carrying a switch around a lot you've already got a switch you can carry around with you it doesn't have Witcher 3 on it yet though oh no no I I'm having trouble carrying that one maybe I'll need a smaller one that's what I'm saying that'll be the test is if I'm like oh got know where to put this giant switch I need one that's an inch smaller in all directions no comment might make it apparently it's the size of a the new one is a size of a switch with a joyon removed like take off the and that's how big and that's the size yeah yeah I won't get it but I'm still I'll probably start playing the switch a lot more if XBox does get around to putting achievements on there MH well cuz there was talk about the

Xbox treatments going on for the cuphead game yes [ __ ] that game oh that game is so frustrating and annoying but that's the one that's going to get you to play it play on the switch yep just see me sitting in the corner swearing at the screen well speaking of uh Xbox achievements did you see that uh I think Xbox Germany um accidentally tweeted that Final Fantasy 7 remake is going to be on the Xbox I did and then they've removed it and Square Enix have come out and went that's not correct Final Fantasy remake coming out on PlayStation 4 March 3rd we have no plans for other platforms yeah but that I mean it's pretty official looking video they posted Xbox Germany are sort of saying oh this is just it was a mistake and internal team like

were just mucking around with some stuff why would you be mucking around typing something that Final Fantasy 7 remake they made a [ __ ] video of yeah like it makes I think they attached video from um no but the video unless I'm I'm looking at this wrong the video is of the Final Fantasy 7 remake with Xbox [ __ ] logos on it and it says Final Fantasy 7 remake uh March 2020 Xbox One yes with the Xbox it does say that but yeah JY Xbox for say it's an accident and accidentally made that video and then tweeted that video yes okay fair enough but that's the thing like if them posting the video would be one thing them posting the video with branding yeah that's what I mean that

that's come on someone made that and then someone tweeted it so I mean Fair enoughbe they weren't supposed to tweet it but they weren't supposed they accidentally made it like that's come on yeah what why are you accidentally making that at all like yeah so yeah I think it is going to come I don't think it will be the 3rd of March yeah maybe not I think it will be there I think there's going to be like a PlayStation exclus exclusive period of 3 to 6 months yeah I think that's probably why they had to they like Square's denying it and all that because yeah they proba they got some deal with Sony and they've they're going to get in trouble now so yeah cuz you even remember like uh to begin with uh no man's sky was going to be a PlayStation

exclusive and oh thanks for reminding me that game exists what's wrong with that game nothing's wrong with it but I forgot about it stay out of it just reminded me stay out of it you don't need it in your life don't don't think about turning that game on and playing for half an hour going to suck that game just I'll just do this I'll just do this I'll just go there mhm I I I I'll I'll I'll stop playing once I got enough fuel to take off again and yeah yeah oh my God it's morning and I need to go to work now yeah I've only played that game twice both games I played it for like eight both times I played it for eight hours or something wow I yeah I played it quite a bit that's why on the other hand I put already put some some time into it so I probably should try and get through

to leave have all my baby teeth where it is my mom my mom kept them I guess for sentimental reasons when I lost all my baby my my baby teeth and I popped them under the pillow Tooth Fairy collected them and I guess for some reason gave them to my mom gave them back to your mom you might probably sold them back to your mom it could be and uh and so she kept them and so now I have them because at one point my mom was like I don't know what to do with these now think she realized like yeah she's like I don't know I kept them cuz yeah yeah my mom had my baby teeth and I'm kind of okay with knowing that I don't know where they are now you know um yeah my mother kept mine as well I think that's just something that mothers in Western Sydney do my mom also had my little

circumcision ring that little that little clamp that they put on Oh I thought you meant this skin oh she kept for skin no she didn't keep the for skin you weirdo that's what I thought you meant as well that little that little spherical clamp that they put on to like keep the foreskin like down and away while they trim around it I assume it's like the surgery uh equivalent of giving someone a bowl cut it's almost odder than keeping the for skin in a way if you think about it because it's not it's not it's not you of you it's a thing they used to get rid of part of you yeah that's right yeah well I hope you kept that made into some jewelry very yeah it's my nose ring presented to Hoy one

day like that's right have you guys uh seen this this this thing that's going on on Facebook Dan you and I have been to Area 51 we've been to it yes yes um people are convinced something's going on there and then there's now a a meetup on Facebook a Facebook event for be basically people are saying in September they are going to raid Area 51 and find the aliens yeah okay can I just mhm speak don't try to what is it we're going to use don't try to storm a military base it will end badly for you is this another one of your um motivational catch raisers for

twins yes try to stor a military base a picture of Luke no fair that's fair and Sound Advice um how many people have uh have decided to storm Area 51 Matt at this point oh at this point something like 60,000 or something right I think think here we go storm Area 51 they can't stop all of us 840,000 people 800 well they probably can't stop all I mean [ __ ] go for it um and I think so initially it was a joke and I think one of the people who started it uh Jackson Barnes says uh hello US Government this is a joke and I do not actually intend to go ahead with this plan I just thought it would be

funny and get me some thumbs upes on the internet he is I'm not respons deci to actually storm Area 51 because apparently people are indicating that they do intend to go ahead with this so well they've set a date you know so we'll see what happens and they they've set a date and they've told everybody including the US government when it's going to be going to do it yeah they they're discussing their plans uh openly on the internet which is always a good move if you're going to plan something like this it's just make sure that the uh the US government knows exactly what it is you're planning to do yeah I've got to the website my niece is interested okay well I'm interested as well I'm not going to do it though I'm just

interested I did see that um people on the internet are trying to Rally people to storm other secret areas as well I saw one storm the Vatican they can't rape all of us I I I would say if you are going to storm stay at the back but then you won't see just stand behind somebody at all times yeah you don't want to be the the people on the front line running in there the American government are just going to [ __ ] open fire well that's the thing people are storming a military base yes just won't open the gate and won't let anyone in there's a story in the article there's

no there's a story in the article about a tour bus that accidentally entered the base somehow and they they turned up and and stopped them and then like armed military personnel got on the bus and with like threatening everybody with fines and telling them you know like you need to leave right now and then it turned out because it was the bus driver's fault only he got fined but and then all the passengers thought it was a joke wow they thought it was part of like a like a dinner show yeah yeah yeah yeah so just don't do it I mean has the American government cross the line no we we did stop at the mailbox yes the Black Mailbox not for the base at all it's nothing to do with it uh of course they would get their mail delivered directly

to them I don't know what kind of farm you have out there in the middle of the [ __ ] desert well here's the thing I don't think the American government have ever actually acknowledged they even have a mil like an Air Force Base there whatsoever right I don't know but I know but I mean they do but but sure maybe they haven't acknowledged it yeah I don't know I'm not sure they also might not be covering it up the government stance might be it's up to us whether we want to talk about our military bases or not so it's not that they're secret it's just that it's none of your [ __ ] business right why would we discuss it with you yeah I thought this is like where they helped design and test the stealth bomber and stuff yeah that's

certainly the the story yeah and the that the UF stuff all came from the fact that they were testing that and people didn't know what it was yeah the thing that people saw in the sky that was unidentified to them was in fact steal bom a stealth bomber uh yeah which looks like a [ __ ] new prototype yeah [ __ ] does yeah so all right so let's just wait and see what happens on the 20th of September mhm yeah 3:00 a.m. oh that's because that's my time isn't it yes okay cuz yeah if they do it at that time that's also a terrible time to storm the base when would you storm the base do we need to play the criple crimes jingle here while the other brothers are doing time listen up it's crimes I've already said don't storm the base don't storm the base and then the

there's definitely positions going there yeah yep I think it would work nailed it unfortunately I can't join the US Armed Forces I don't think cuz you're not from America yeah and also I mean you have a crippled leg oh yeah I can't also can't run or carry things that weigh stuff way heavy can you drive a tank can you absorb a bullet actually I'm too tall for a tank that's such a weird combination yeah I have to sit down all the time but I'm too tall to sit in any of your vehicles but tanks they actually you they like people who were shorter for the tanks cuz it is very confined in there I know someone who might might be able to fit in a tank don't know what you're talking

about send a dwar in to the take Area 51 well before we go and speaking of aliens do we I want to want to do some Star Wars news just quickly because it's near the end of the show so Craig can turn this off and uh but I do want to I just do want to touch on uh there's just a couple of things here um did we did we we all see the the new Star Wars Sith trooper this week mhm mhm yep yeah what do you think of that it's just a red Stormtrooper I think that the colors of military attire are usually terrain uh specific uh so perhaps these Troopers

are going to be under that layer of salt on that salt Planet I mean the normal Storm Troopers are white but then the spaceships are white on the inside so that kind of makes sense but with this I'm just going to I'm just thinking of the Imperial guarden returning to Jedi oh yeah so these guys are probably just out for Ceremony I I wouldn't see them as a Sith trooper I'd see them more as a here we bring these guys out special occasions yeah Special Occasions but who the [ __ ] do they work for then so I mean we have to wait and see obviously but where have these guys been that's the problem with any of this isn't it these the replac make any new stuff to put in but they're called Sith Troopers Luke so who do they work for presumably Traer sorry potential

spoilers presumably Palpatine in some capacity from the from the teaser trailer but like but why is Palpatine got the new Storm Trooper style exactly and if he why do they look like first order Stormtroopers if they're not first order I just it just raes how about we just I'm starting to get worried is what I'm saying yeah cuz this I'm worried that this is a bit [ __ ] is it maybe just something to throw us off the scent though hopefully Sith we just going to have to wait and see we we don't have much longer to go no 6 months a bit less yeah I mean comic con's coming up they don't have a panel but we might have a trailer drop around that time yeah yeah we're definitely Jew for one did you say Jew
