Nesting: E3 2021, Starfield & Army of the Dead Review

it's finally happening I'm getting a fridge in my room the Xbox fridge the Xbox fridge yeah God that thing looks beautiful and it's going to fit my gin and tonics in there beautifully I did say they came up and I was like I'm probably going to buy one of those G I was like no you're not M you've got a family you have to think of now I put it to you Luke that it is far too bright to have in your bedroom if you're not even allowed to look at your phone during the night well no that's not going to be my bedroom it's going to be in this room I thought you oh okay so when you say your room you mean the room with your computer not the room with your bed okay yeah makes sense that's the room he's been allocated to store his crap in yeah Matt I've been to his

house and I can attest there is crap in every room I have a lot of crap yeah well you always have mhm no that's not true there was a time he had nothing he had absolutely nothing this is oh no but I had crap there is a period where he literally slept on the floor in a sleeping bag listeners that's not a joke no there was no sleeping bag thank you very much I think there was yeah why is no sleeping bag so bad no I never had a sleeping bag no you just had one of those sheet straw mats they give you in Southeast Asian prisons no I just put a sheet on the floor and then I'd sleep on the floor and have like a blanket for a Star Wars sheet yes yeah I'd love it if any ladies came over and they're like are we

the world was your bed quite Charming the the the toilets at music festivals was your bed not during the day though no they're busy then but also at when it used be home bake there was a good toilet she used to go to that around the back that no one knew about home bake God I remember that home bake weird I've I've lived a strange life let's just leave it at that I think our listeners are aware that you lived a strange life and continue to do so I feel this is all still part of his courtship darling I've lived a strange life but I do know about a toilet right in the back that no one knows about because just let me you know I don't have a bed yeah but I do have a Star Wars blanket

on the floor yeah that I brought with me he's got a bed now I mean yeah yeah I think he was forced to have a bed probably mhm wives e forcing me to sleep on a comfortable bed no I actually still sleep on the floor every now again I don't mind it yeah that that was actually part we could save money on our vacation that we took over here because Luke did not require a bed in a hotel room and almost certainly they thought we were sleeping in the same bed but uh yes lick was uh on the floor so let me get this straight you you went up to the concierge of the hotel you said what we'd like a room for the night and they said twin room and you said no no no no

one bed will do us just fine yeah mhm you be single for all I care I'm just going to go to sleep and they're like okay well I guess you'll be piled on top of one another sure yeah and Flor we had that tiny little uh room in New York and then Luke CAU up on the floor and I had my bed we about a one minute walk from Time Square yep saved some money good when Luke and his wife and I came to visit you and we had our own little place um we got a three-bedroom so there's that and I had left on my own cuz you could yeah yeah which is IR because if you'd picked up you could have said I have a bed it's my own bed my wife is not even going to be in the room that place she's going to be behind that curtain over

there that place was very interesting that place was incredibly interesting you mean know there that brothel we we stayed in for three nights weird like apartment in Providence that was very interesting with curtains up everywhere curtains separating into rooms right yeah but with a distinct Bordello Motif yeah we'll have to do that again A distinct Motif but we could all go next time well I have a house so and I can play with the kids we all went it's just people who aren't on this podcast who didn't go yeah I can't wait till the next time we all meet up I'm going to play with kids it's going to be so much fun people my own age well my own mental age well the kids

will be quite old by the time we're allowed to visit America actually we'll be allowed to visit there but we won't be able to come back that's that's the thing that's going to take a while still doing two we quarantines uh I noticed you got yis so mhm yep we yeah we're not opening the Border they're not looking to like we're saying like for just normal back not even back to normal but the start of international travel next year mhm wow okay and that definitely well actually maybe America will be back on the bubble list because their vaxes roll out so well yeah yeah yeah our cases down so but that said the vax wasn't mandatory so you never know well yeah can't make anything not allowed Live Free or Die says it on that bit of paper I drove through New

Hampshire on the way to Vermont the other day oh nice I Saw the Sign live I think of you whenever I see that sign now Live Free or Die I like that I like that you shoot out some fireworks and molest a little kid couldn't find any fireworks D there is one good thing about uh stop being able to travel for a little bit longer what's that it will give us time to play some of the games that Xbox and Bethesda spoke about today yeah [ __ ] me my God and the fact that we don't need to buy games anymore that's the most like exciting thing about it that what was it they they announced I mean they repeated this they announced 30 Games 27 of those games are on Game Pass meaning day one meaning we don't have to pay for them cuz we're already paying for them

but yeah we have paid for them well in advance see the thing is I don't know how much is Game Pass cuz I don't actually know I pay I've never paid for for mine okay so it's 15 a month here mine I got my Xbox on it so I pay 35 us a month but it includes my Xbox includ your Xbox cuz the problem I've got is I transferred over my Gold Live subscription over to Game Pass a while ago and then I also got an extra year of Game Pass so I don't think I'm paying to like 2023 so I have no idea what sort of I think it's 15 on its own I pay a little bit more cuz I couple it in with the gold oh yeah so I think I PID 20 cuz yeah like the games we're getting on it are not cheap little games they're all games that I was going to spend $100 on

a number of times for sort of free in my head it's free so they were 30 games I don't know that we need to talk about all 30 of them but we could pick a few highlights like I'd say out of the 30 there were at least 10 that I thought were noteworthy yeah like this was a good year enough that I was like oh wow yeah and and also compared to cuz I I watch the Ubisoft thing the day before and it was a little underwhelming there was some good stuff in there but um yeah yeah yeah if on that but the Xbox they they um started very very strong y y like he's Starfield well I mean we still don't know a whole lot about Starfield show nothing I'm salt am pre-rendered video that tells

you slightly more about Starfield than you knew before which is that there are spaceships and it looks very um hard sci-fi yeah what it's sort of reminding me I was hard man I was hard for that sci-fi this is going to be Star Citizen before Star Citizen come out I think it's going to be better than St they did have that bit of feel to it I think I have that Skyrim in space Matt I think it might even be your like one man alone in the vast void of space confronting existentialism that's I have a feeling it might contain a little bit of that a bit of your dream yeah I hope I can drive around the planet for hours looking for things M you already played Mass Effect just play Mass Effect I'm avoid I'm avoiding putting

Mass Effect on because I'm currently driving around a planet looking for things we'll go back to this but in Mass Effect that's one thing that I didn't like about as the games progressed so they gotor yes they got rid of all that stuff that I love so they just went straight to the action first one they had drown around on a makeo MH loved it the second one they went for like you're scanning the planet and you got to launch probes to when you get the Peaks on and that was infuriating too and then on the third one it's you can only again particular Planet if there's something there there's no just Gathering resources for the sake of it I've got to ask Luke are you good at driving around the moo yes it's probably why you enjoy it I not I really enjoyed the moo I

don't know why everyone hated it they fixed it starf yes yes no [ __ ] it ignore E3 ignore Starfield let's just talk about Mass Effect game from 2011 about it again yeah I I did slightly get hopes up where it sort of came up and went 11 yeah 11 please 21 please 21 22 yeah [ __ ] no we want it to be right that's still pretty quick compared to you know cyber Punk that said 20 years ago I mean how long was it eight years eight years we had to wait for cyber Punk so one year and a few months is not bad M I'm still waiting for cyber punk I think what happens though like cuz you notice game chud has do it a lot differently but there's the announc stuff yeah and then they don't really talk about it much after that and even like even now that's the teasure trailer

we'll get we won't really hear much about this again till next year where cyber Punk was uh here's this here's this here's this and I think no man Sky did the same thing yeah showing off a lot of stuff talking about a lot of stuff and then we get the game and it's not what we're expecting where's this where's that stuff they've gone stuff Skyrim in face there you go yeah now wait well to be fair they didn't say that I said that mhm they haven't ProMed a mam quote Yeah well Fallout is scaring with guns sure so why not scaring in space I'm I'm I'm not arguing against it I think the outer worlds is Skyrim in space sort of so well it's lucky you think that cuz you'll get another one of

them too that that was my favorite trailer of the whole thing it was a great trailer it great so good cuz I was like and then we'll show people running in slow motion cuz that you get those pre-order numbers up and he's the w s and now we see our hero but only the silhouette because the developers haven't finaly the look they haven't even got any G show you all they have is the title and here it is UN that one world two unfortunately with this one there was no date and I think we're waiting probably I don't see this coming out before 2023 I think so too and you know what was you know the only downside about that fantastically self-aware trailer was that I most trailers you watch after

that also followed that rule but without the self you notice it yeah I like that will this monster be in the game no say goodbye to him I hope he's not in there I hope he is not in there yeah I really do so good but yeah no so all we know is they're making it which we kind of already knew yeah the first one was like so successful like blew it blew their minds how successful it was I'm I'm hoping that with this one it's going to be bigger though mhm sure I think they'll get a bit more freedom and a bit more time to make it something bigger cuz that's the one thing I didn't like the first one even though it's this big open world it is actually a pretty short game yeah and the areas were contained although see I kind of liked that about

it because it wasn't overwhelming and I was able to I I got through it sometime you know some I have limited time to play games so to be able to play through it in a in a timely fashion was actually quite nice for me I really enjoyed it I would have would have liked just a few more like side quest like time wasting stuff driving a make around planet for instance yeah just to get those achievements that they will have to add for those things well the funny thing about Mass Effect I scanned every single part of that Galaxy to 100% there's one achievement you get for that and that's just to scan an entire sector but I scared every single planet about Mass Effect the whole game I know I went back to it all right what else a couple other surprising ones I

saw I saw the co-op one the which didn't really give much away but the the um Contraband oh yeah mhm Yeah Yeah from the guys did just seemed sort of it looked interesting didn't it well but I don't know cuz all nothing I'm not going play co-op but just CA was so fun that it like without even knowing anything I was like oh that could be good just cuz it was them I guess we really don't know anything so it might not be no cuz actually there's something I want to talk about later not from the the Microsoft One something that sounded good on paper when I saw it I was like oh so but we'll get to it no talk about that now I want to know what that is yeah what is it it's it was from the square panel not from this one the thing I was actually excited about was that

[ __ ] Guardians game from the guys that it looks awful it looks atrocious it looks awful I this morning I got up and I I was like I got to watch the trailer for that so I can talk about it and I was like oh forget it so disappointed there was a bit of a hit and miss showcase as well that didn't look good the um uh Black Panther game didn't look good I'm not excited about any Marvel games I'll be honest play any they all remind me that Avengers game that looked like crap yeah that I also didn't play Yeah The Avengers game could have been good if they went the single player story instead ofing down that's apparently what this Guardians game is but it still doesn't look good to me no no and I think it's because unfortunately we're locked into how we

see the Gans of the Galaxy now or all of the Avengers no I think you're right and with the The Avengers game they sort of made the outfits the same but their faces were just yeah not of the Avengers we know which sort of I think confused it more I think see looking at this Guardians game they've tried to make them too much like the movies just don't do that just but that's what I mean they didn't I think what Luke saying they just like here are people in the in the costumes that you know from the movies make them like the movies or don't I think don't in this case I think this this Guardians one looks like it they're trying too hard to make it like the movies so but they clearly just don't have the right Dave Batista as Drax like someone doing an impression of

Dave Batista Drax isn't like that in the comics that's just a fun thing that James gun did for his movies stop doing that like you don't have to but I'm I just hoping it's a good story cuz the Avengers I sort of enjoyed except for the fact that I know it was leading up to a point where it was going to the story's going to end and now you just have to battle these Maps over and over and over again if this is going to be a single player story so we'll see but the one thing I saw from that like the Final Fantasy 7 Battle Royale oh I didn't see that no I didn't see that either I skip the Final Fantasy stuff now I just don't care anymore I enjoyed seven like in the '90s but did you play the seven remake no I don't have PlayStation only on Playstation it will be coming out to

Xbox maybe oh we didn't talk about that Starfield Xbox only XBox exclusive uh people are a bit pissed about that and I say those people suck a dick you're like yeah they're like oh it's it's you know it's not good for gamers they shouldn't have to pick a platform oh you didn't say that about the last of us or [ __ ] ver sushima you [ __ ] or Spider-Man yeah you just middle giving us all the middle finger so suck a dick look look I've been saying for a while I think we're going to see Xbox game pass come to Nintendo switch H and I think they might even eventually try to bring it onto PlayStation but I don't think PlayStation will allow but I canot I can really see it on the switch oh did you

see the um the thing about this is not E3 related uh was it Borderlands 3 that had got cross wonderlands no no no no no Borderlands we will talk about that if if if you guys don't mind cuz I [ __ ] I'm excited about that but I think as Borderlands 3 released an update they gave crossplay except M uh Playstation doesn't get it because Sony charges the Publishers if they have crossplay charges them extra and 2K said no we're not paying for that so you can crossplay with Borderland 3 unless you've got a PlayStation and people were mad at gearbox and Randy was like mate we [ __ ] did it it's there the code's there we could turn it on with a switch they won't let us do it done they won't let us do it [ __ ] [ __ ] well

they've already got to me already got their cut of the game cuz they took what 30% of the sales but yeah tiny ca's wonderlands [ __ ] excited yes I actually got a little shocked that you're excited about about this because of one of the voice actors you got a oh Andy Samberg yeah you think I don't like Andy Samberg you're right you don't like Andy Samberg you don't like you've been very clear about not liking Andy Samberg I said you're right you think I don't like Andy Samberg you're right I don't like any all right cuz yeah I think he's sort of going to be the star ah yeah cuz it was wonderlands featuring yeah well I I'm not going to know it's him necessarily you'll know you will know you know Chris Hardwick is in uh Borderlands 3 and I barely remembered

that it was him half the time oh I actually s those games I get to a point where I start skipping the story because look it's got Ashley bures tyan Tina I'm good best character in all the Borderlands game exactly so I'm good I'll play it do you know what I wanted to do is I wanted to find out and I'll probably know by the time listeners can write in but when they released the DLC for Borderlands 2 that let you skip to max level and play kind of an intro to Borderlands 3 I realized I wonder if you can do that and then just only play the Tiny Tina assault and Dragon Keep DLC you probably could yeah so listeners podcast at multiple nasm.com although I'll probably have tried before you you write in but I'll have tried that yeah I

cuz that's yeah you have to be like level 30 or something to start yeah well you can start earlier but you won't get anywhere in it well back on back on Microsoft and Xbox we love Microsoft we're Microsoft Fanboys there's a big budget AAA game coming out that I hadn't heard of and I'm really excited about it's called party animals and I really want to play with you guys this one really spoke to you didn't it I was [ __ ] cracking up it looks so funny I I don't even really know it's like a multiplayer battle royale where you these cute little stuffed animals and you have to murder each other they're very cute it looks fun so I'm trying to think are we going to pick now which animal we each are I don't know what the options are no so many we can't rush

into this type of thing there's a cat a dog a rabbit crocodile uh a dinosaur all right let me look I want to be the puppy you can be the puppy ah Gang Beast is the game I was thinking of of Gang Beast Gang Beast this looks like a cuter version of Gang Beasts fcking the [ __ ] is Gang based oh yeah looks very similar a physics based party game best game for a Saturday night with friends mhm it's so adorable murdering I'm shocked that that one sort of spoke to you why I don't know these little guys cuz they've got that and they've also we Xbox finally also gets that oh what is that game that uh social deception game um Among Us finally comes to as well yeah yeah yeah yeah I don't

know if I would like that but we could try it I'm not going to play enough of I'm not going to play it I'm going to say that right now so if you two want to play by yourselves you go right ahead kids like it no I'm out I got much much more chance playing party animals than among us all F cu the among us we don't have enough people to play cuz you do need sort of six to nine people to really we don't have enough children six to n children is what you need yeah we don't have that many we could just keep making them D we have one and a half at this point yeah when's it come out why stop at one get to work so what else was it there was also stalker two stalker 2 yeah that's something you will play Dan [ __ ] yes I mean I'll be honest this trailer is

just made me see that this is just exactly stalker one but again yeah that's fine um but I'm fine with that rced Graphics I'm down yeah yeah sit around the campfire then go out and shoot [ __ ] monsters in the nuclear Wasteland I mean I'll do it there is one game I'm really looking forward to and it's got William def in it and Daisy Ridley and that's at 12 minutes yep William defo this is William's brother yes yeah have you seen that clip on YouTube of William defo mispronouncing his own name yes I love William def yeah this game looks cool I don't really understand what the game is but it looks intriguing It looks interesting so for parts I've

seen it cuz I've been watching it for a while now is basically get home you're going to have dinner with your wife and then at after 12 minutes you you sort of you will something will happen you'll die you'll be arrested something will happen but you're sort of reliving this 12 minutes over and over so of the actions you take can sort of change the outcome of wait and the thing that happens is different every time yes oh depending on your decisions what if you just watch TV I think you can okay great and the game end thanks for playing but but the play whatever show I'm watching in it's these are all coming to Game Pass and I'm s of like I'm saving hundreds of dollars yeah atomic heart looks [ __ ]

weird but cool I don't I don't understand what it is but it looked cool I want I want to check that out um yeah I was sort of a bit iffy on that one that was sorry just to go back to 12 minutes just for a sec I love this quote here this is on Games Radar 12 minutes might be the closest we'll ever get to playing a video game directed by Stanley cubrick oh yeah okay interesting um what else was there there was see if thieves is now just a part of the Caribbean game which oh my God put Jack Sparrow into sea of Thieves is as exciting as when they put him into the Pirates of the Caribbean ride the only the reason I'm for the people who play it is probably going to be interesting yeah it just makes it look like Monkey Island is and you know cuz they' now they've got like the the

voodoo lady not the good monkey Islands maybe not I don't know I watched it and I was like you know what I it's it looks kind of cool it's very atmospheric and cool I'd be interested to play it but and I can cuz it's part of Game Pass so the the um the the one announcement that I got a shock over was a plague tail oh yeah I don't know if you guys have played the first one but it looks amazing I've had it on my list for ages and actually I think it's on Game Pass it is yeah it's in my it's in my watch list so yeah that was a nice reveal and I'm looking forward to that cuz yeah the first one I played through twice cuz it was on Windows and Xbox yeah so I could double up in the achievements but was a good game I was going to say that

doesn't mean it's good Luke you're you're saying that like that means it's good no the thing is I I liked it I got to enjoy it twice I didn't just do it just for the I enjoyed the you enjoyed it twice yeah okay see that's the important part but this one I got to enjoy and normally if they're games that are like 10 hours plus I'll play through them once yeah like even thetion I'm not going to sit down and play a I don't like again we haven't mentioned what might have been the most beautiful game of the of the thing replaced you guys replaced the I'm going to have to remind myself what that is oh yes yes I I it started off looking good then I saw it was more of an like action platformer and I sort of lost I'm all in though I love this kind of trend of having like

these really deep 3D Environ but in flat like 8 bit Graphics I think it looks beautiful and and I mean I like that kind of game like a I'm hoping it's kind of Metroid Vania style I mean even if it's not I'm going to play it but I think it looks great I think visually it was the the the best looking they do I I agree Luke they do kind of they do kind of leave it for the end of the trailer that it's essentially a platformer I really could be an adventure game up until that point I mean you still walking around the Game Pass yeah you can play I like the fact they've announced a new for Horizon game cuz I love those games yeah I that was a Forza Horizon game I mean not there's anything wrong with that but I I I was

surprised they devoted so long to it cuz it was like yeah I've played for Horizon this looks like more of it that's fine you don't need to spend so long talking about it well I actually got a shock that they actually announced it because normally they've been alternating between Motorsports and Horizon yeah and we got the last one we got was Horizon 4 but I'm okay with Horizon 5 I like them a little bit more cuz they're that little bitc and fun I prefer them to the the other ones so than just racing around tracks also I love that it's on Game Pass cuz like I I I don't think I would buy it same with a lot of these games I'm not sure I would buy all of them but I would like to try all of them so it's kind of like that's that's the beauty of Game Pass and now you can and I

mentioned for Game Pass I've already bought Hades on PC and switch so now I'm getting get it on Xbox I don't have to pay for it so that's good I think I think it's on Game Pass so that's nice thanks and uh yep and the new uh the brand spanking new Diablo 2 sequel to The the game Diablo I guess is coming out two so yeah I guess I guess it's 2002 and let's play Diablo I yeah I think this is what this one of those wants that people like the idea of it being there but a lot of people aren't going to play it I got to say I was really excited but I'm not going to play it yeah but you're not going to play it on your Xbox you're not going to boot up your Xbox sit down in front of your TV and play Diablo I probably not maybe I played diabl 3 a bit mean if they had

diabl 2 for the [ __ ] iPad you'd play it I probably would do that well it still might go make it to the iPad although yeah I probably will skip this one I mean I I'll be honest I didn't even finish Diablo 3 I I finished three but that's what I mean the games were different back then just just clicking one Mouse button for six months was okay with generation with [ __ ] RSI you guys aren't excited about this yeah you guys are excited about this but I am the Halo infinite I wish I wish I liked Halo cuz I watched the Halo infinite trailer and I was like so bored I was I was as bored watching this as when I went to Halo Fest in [ __ ] Seattle they were just focusing they were just focusing on multiplayer yeah I was like

oh good I can go to the bathroom and I think they're biging I want these to be good but I just don't like them the big thing about the the multiplayer was they're pushing like it's going to be free for everyone to play I I yeah I don't know weird I know like be didn't have multiplayer I'm like I guess but is that what people remember about HAL the multiplayer I don't think it is I think it's the campaigns right um not a lot of people Halo 2 multiplayer was where a lot of people got into online gaming I play Halo multiplayer that's actually that's the onlya played more multiplayer than I did for the single I'm going to make a full of myself because I actually play more Halo multiplayer than I play Halo full stop it's the only time I do play it is

multiplayer so fair enough mhm they didn't show any of the single player campaign they learned their lesson last time I thought they would though because they did have to but it was redeemed themselves after that last [ __ ] present it's coming out this year now yeah yeah but see yeah oh man we still don't know what the the brutes look like anymore still looks like [ __ ] so we got nothing we nothing for you but that comes out holiday 2021 I don't know what holiday 2021 is I'm on a holiday today it's a public holiday in Australia that means in in America that means Christmas Christmas christas Yeah Christmas holiday season the same time I get my fridge speaking of games that look really nice but I don't know if it'll actually play the ascent looks nice yeah

I don't know that I care about that but I'm not going to play it I don't either saw that got a shock you got a shock I don't think I got a shock cuz I I know they've been pushing for a while but I hadn't actually seen anything of it but it looks good but yeah I don't think I will play I think I just feel it's going to be I don't know these twin stick Shooters are not I was going to say it looks good until I see what kind of game it is and then I'm like H not really interested yes yeah yeah that's that's fair that's a fair fair assessment I want to see that [ __ ] new Arcane game uh was it red something uh oh yeah I don't know how I didn't write that on my list red fall redf yeah that looks [ __ ] well it looks it looks great except does it look great cuz I haven't

seen is there's no gameplay yeah what is the actual game I mean Arcane make fantastic games so it's going to be a one to four People Co-Op game that's going to be my guess and then each people each character is going to have their own unique ability so play together with your friends and everyone beats a different character yeah okay I'm bored and then kill vampires yeah okay like vampires instead of zombies hopefully it's not that Oh's they already got that coming out back back from the dead back it's back for blood it's basic it's just left for dead three cuz it's made by the same people who made left for dead it must be Left for Dead four it's got a four in the name they must have skipped yes yeah for legal reasons but yeah they even go from

the from the makers of left a dead mhm it's it's it is Left for Dead there's yeah it's not inspired or a bit like it's the same and don't get me wrong I enjoyed left for dead yeah but I'm probably not going to play more of it I already played it quite a lot so I mean it's probably going be probably going to be fun we played it quite a bit we played it together quite a lot back in the day we did another game that looks amazing but I probably will not play is Battlefield 2042 that uh gameplay footage I was like oh man that looks like really cool I'm probably not going to play that yeah it just yeah I feel the same yeah and neither am I because it's for some reason this is one that's coming out with no single player it's

only online well that's what Battlefield is it doesn't really surprise me but but that's what I mean though I'm not going to play it it looks fun like some of the battlefield single players but yeah you have to commit to it and yeah exactly it's going to be play friends yeah and all your friends have to also be into it yeah and you guys hate video games so [ __ ] hate them well it catch me playing one in fact I actually just spent like an hour today getting two odd number of achievements odd number well actually no were even numbers so my gamer score has been slightly off like it's been eight like ended with the number eight right and when I cuz I'm getting close to a million I want to end up on a million perfectly so I had to mess around

getting some achievements to get me back to a five and zero [ __ ] hell [ __ ] video games is all just like small they're all just small pieces in Luke's larger meta game that he's playing which is just his gamer score like like the an individual video game is no longer actually if one game if you could just continue to get yeah if you could continue to get achievements on a single game he'd just play one game yeah absolutely oh I saw I thought of you Luke would they when they showed the Yakuza [ __ ] whatever that bizarre thing was that they they are great games I love them they are so weird I was going to say are they all like that cuz that looked [ __ ] bizarre yeah they oh there's one where the whole idea is one of the mini games is you go in and you

take photos of girls and you talk to them and as you talk to them they if you go back and answer right they'll take more clothes off and then being skimpier outfits and stuff and it's just I've was allowed anymore but I had to download it off the internet and uh and I wasn't allowed to tell anybody that I that I had obtained it is that that kind of game no not that type of game oh okay but I don't know I like the Yakuza games their cut scenes go forever sounds wonderful yeah that looks weird but I'd already had Yakuza life of a dragon purchased that last year yeah right like a dragon whereas Yakuza one to six were already on Game Pass oh okay well and now that one's come to

Game Pass but I already own it so I feel a bit silly well that's half the game Doom eternals on Game Pass now and I was waiting for the next gen patch and uh so I might as well have just not bought it when it came out well it comes out next week or something or July Yeah so basically the game is free and and I get the update and oh this was not part of E3 this was announced just before but now that I've finished it Fallen order is getting a nextg patch so thanks for that yeah now that I've completed the game and won't be playing it again they've uh maybe I'll wait maybe I'll wait yeah well you don't actually it's out I think so you don't have to wait you could just play it now if you want to yeah but I've got to go back I told I told you about The

Saga of my nephew having to go and getting me further than I wanted to be oh yeah oh no yeah I hate that because he if he unlocks abilities and stuff you're not going to know how they work or I'm [ __ ] lost mate I'm lost I that prob I didn't play the game for six months and I still came back and was like I don't know how to do anything but I figured it out I almost rage quitted again I think I told you this but then I I stuck with it it's a really good game uh Assassin's Creed Valhalla is getting some more DLC Siege of Paris DLC which looks neat I uh get to go to Fran France and uh kill French people yeah I mean there's a whole there's a whole season

of of Vikings where they where they Siege Paris oh yeah and it was cool so being able to join in I think uh pretty good actually it put that game on at the moment though yeah same I'm playing through Odyssey still I mean I I can't say I'm playing through Odyssey but I'm certainly not finished Odyssey and the um The Druids DLC for valhal looks [ __ ] amazing too we apparently you go to Ireland I didn't know that oh that's cool yeah so I've started that mission but haven't really progressed far in it at all the announced DLC for Far Cry 6 looks [ __ ] interesting it does Far Cry 6 very interesting which is a shame because enjoy because I don't really care about South American drug dealers yes yeah same five I found really compelling

because it was different and you know the whole you know it's it's Montana and it's I loved it yeah this one I was like oh okay I've done that kind of not I've done not that not in real life I've done that but like I've played where it's South America and there's a drug C like ghost wildlands Max p 3 for example yeah there's a lot of games like that so it might still be good but the the DLC where he plays the villains the Far Cry games yeah far a good point yes villains and blood dragon getting a remaster so that might get me to buy it cuz blood dragon was [ __ ] excellent so blood dragon was great yeah i' I'd be happy to play that again that was the first Far Cry game I played I blood

dragon yeah all three no blood dragon specifically BL dragon is so interesting I'm so glad they got made cuz I W I wasn't interested in blood drag I wasn't interested in Far Cry rather and then Dave was like I'll [ __ ] get you into it play this and I was like okay you're right this is awesome so that looks good what else do be soft have oh Watch Dogs Legion DLC that confused me it's got I'm done with Watch Dogs um oh the new Mario V Rabbit game that looks cute sorry what you saying yeah oh that that's like don't care about any to down attack thing like it's a bit like XCOM yeah yeah I've got the first one on the switch it's pretty fun yeah yeah yeah you're right it is it's XCOM but with Mario and rabbit and rabbits

basically well and you you actually you run around the map as well it's it's it's not quite like XCOM it is a bit I can see why you would say that yeah yeah but yeah quite similar in the shooty bits uh 10 more Bethesda games on Game Pass Fallout 3 is on Game Pass now along with a bunch of other stuff oh yeah and if you have game pass on PC all the Fallout games actually are available now for free you know one and two and and if you haven't played it play Fallout 2 Fallout 2 is great Fallout 2 is very good don't play Fallout one because no Fallout one great too it's a great game but if you mess up and you you run out of time to get the water chip and then you got to start again but if you play two and get past that beginning bit cuz you're going to get the [ __ ] at the

start at that Temple bit you're going to get the shits just persevere full out 2 is just full out one but just 10 times as big yeah maybe I'll play that I won't but maybe I will but but you already own it I I know I own it like three or four oh yeah yeah I still think I have codes for it I think I've got your discs of it somewhere like the Y probably at some point but I've certainly got it on Gog yeah I definitely got it on Gog I think I've got it on Gog and steam because I forgot that I had it on one or the other and yeah I've got it on both as well oh Avatar frontiers of Pandora how excited are you guys about that man I'm so excited I'm not excited at all I haven't seen anything of it yeah look it it honestly I I thought to myself before I

watched this trailer okay maybe Avatar works better as a game than as a film it it came on and Jenna said I don't care about Avatar and I said well the world of Avatar is actually quite cool maybe this will be yeah that that's what I thought if it didn't have Sam Worthington in it and a shitty story but no but no awful [ __ ] awful doesn't look like anything I would care about yeah could be wrong but no what about the new Evil Dead that looks pretty cool although it it's one of those games like uh oh what is that game it's it's a multiplayer the other Evil Dead games they've had in the past no it doesn't it doesn't it looks it's not a single player game it's like a a multiplayer only thing like that um what is that game where you it's got the

Halloween you could play as Michael Myers and then it's it's it's just a multiplayer horror game like it looks fine but I don't know that I a lot um yeah dead by daylight yes dead by daylight thank you but I thought that was the case with all the Evil Dead games they're fine they're not great but I still might enjoy playing them because they're going to have Bruce Campbell making quips yeah yeah but you're only going to be able to play this one with other people played an evil dead game you can't play it by yourself that's the problem I don't like to play games with how many other people all the time uh cuz you like the evil dead and I like the Evil Dead and Luke will play anything we ask him to get achiev as long as there's achievements all right

it's not but can we can we all essentially just place separate games but then just occasionally if we're online yeah going to the same server I believe there's nothing stopping us from that right right yeah I believe so and then doing a co-op Mission together yeah or Coupe as we call it in Fallout yeah yeah we'll C it they're getting rid of the Battle Royale part of the game yeah there was a mode where was in there don't care okay never did it never played that part that's probably why they're getting rid of it no one else cared no achievements actually I don't know if there's achievements for that or not better get them quick if there are what else on your list Matt uh I think we've we've touched everything

that's on here uh the Nintendo panel panel the Nintendo thing is tomorrow I uh I'm hoping I'm hoping that we'll see what the new Switch is going to look like I don't know and I'm hoping we'll see Metroid 4 after they [ __ ] scrapped the whole thing and gave it to another velopment company but uh I don't know that I have anything else what do you got you guys got anything else that you tickled your fancy my list no I think we went through most of it there the annoying parties at some of these games I have we still have to wait years for and that's yeah what I don't like about some of the announcements yeah MH most of them next year one thing oh well we get excited about all the ones we got excited about last year at X3 and then we're like oh we'll have to wait a whole

year for them one thing I didn't see um with the Ubisoft one did they have anything on Beyond Good and Evil 2 no really they did not H that sucks uh unless I I did fast forward through some bits of it unless I accidentally fast forwarded through it I don't think they did at all CU yeah that's wanting to hear more on that cuz that I think could be fun Rainbow Six extraction didn't look that interesting to me they talked about that for quite a long time no uh they didn't mention the that's more of just a he some new characters well I said no it's a new game mode where it's like there's aliens that have taken over the world and it's yeah Rainbow Six with aliens and but I didn't look that interesting to me and

I'll give you to you light on this character development heavy on the just bombardment of cool [ __ ] but I'm at a part I'm at a time in my life where being bombarded with cool [ __ ] is a by me and a few of the things that you guys didn't really like it just didn't bother me okay this was just like like someone said to Zack Snider you've had some you've had a bad run with these movies and it's meddling Studios and all of that if you could just write a list of everything you wanted in a movie what would it be and he'd be like get a pen it's called Army of the Dead yeah these guys always they just always shoot them in the head they never miss they're always mate it is so satisfying the violence is so satisfying yeah because

every shot [ __ ] Finds Its mark it I would just watch this entire movie and it's not a short movie with a big [ __ ] grin on my face they were like no we don't we know you don't want to see the bits where they fire and Miss here's just [ __ ] people that have never held a gun before getting head shot after head shot yeah see it's just fun so fun fair enough and we're allowed to go to movies for fun and I didn't I didn't see any robots although I believe you that they're in there I'm not saying you're not allowed to go to the Luke see now Luke Luke's turned this you you've you've screwed me now Dan cuz now Luke's pretending like this was a personal attack against him I'm allowed to enjoy a movie like I don't give a [ __ ] whether

you enjoyed it or not I I didn't dislike it as much as we're making out now I I may have gone overboard with the with the oh okay look who fliping back to Center no no no because you just you missed what Luke just said that's don't give me that [ __ ] you Luke was just trying to dog pile on me so I I said I no no no that even last week he didn't say I said you didn't like it it was terrible it was just you were a bit I just said it wasn't good look you're right there's no character development I don't know the character's names and it is incredibly derivative but it's derivative of many films that I really love so I'm kind of okay with it maybe on a different day I I would wouldn't have liked it or maybe if you hadn't lowered the bar by giving it such

a bad review did I give it a such a bad review I feel like you're misrepresenting how I feel about it to be honest I thought I said it was fine I think you were yeah you weren't you yeah you were it was fine it wasn't like you would watch it again when Luke says fine that's a good review when you say fine that's a bad review yeah fine historically speaking I think I think it's got all sorts of tons and tons of problems and I I mean if you I like a lot of movies that I think are not not good too like for example I think this movie is not good uh I wouldn't say I liked it it was fine I I didn't hate it I don't know I feel like no I love it my opinion being definit didn't like it and he's like why are you guys saying that I don't like this movie but I have to ask D what did

you think about that part in the middle with the time loopy I had no problem with that and I tell you why I don't think you're meant to read into that that I thought that guy was just trying to [ __ ] freak out that dude that he was constantly trying to [ __ ] have a go at I didn't read anything into that beyond the surface of that of him just being I just could not work out what was do try he was trying to do there especially with having the flashbacks or but it wasn't a flash CU they had already EST L that that guy sees cutaways of what other people are telling him so I thought that was established I didn't I didn't think that was part of the narrative I thought that was just a guy on him I could be wrong Zack Snider will probably come out and

go no that's the sequel and it's going to be all that but on first watch that that didn't bother me robot zombies didn't bother you I didn't see any robot zombies and I I was looking for them get out of it let me robot no I believe you that they in there cuz I've also I've also read a interview with Zack Snider saying oh cuz I thought there's a few bits where like bullets were ricocheting around and there was Sparks I'm like is that what Matt meant no there Zack s has already said they're [ __ ] robots so it's not that I'm like imagining it yeah yeah no I read that he did I believe you but just during the movie I didn't see any there there's like a couple of screens L and you'll miss it moment no it's not there's one of them's standing right there when the when the baby the zombie

baby gets lifted up there's one of them standing right next to the dude it's they're obvious the the the robot the the zombie's eyes are glowing blue and I was like the [ __ ] is the zombie got glowing blue eyes for man you were just looking for things to hate about this movie well he like the eyes of one of the zombies in the thousands of zombies that were in this movie but why why were they there exact have them if they not anything exactly no because there so many different type no no they established there's all kinds of zombies this is not like robot robots come on why is there a go why is there a go one oh there's a there's sorry cuz they turned someone who was goth that's easy why is there one one where why is there

one where you cut off its head and it's still just a sassy chick like again maybe it was a robot first and then it got turned into a zombie being sassy and being a goth are different to being a robot they are very different things when we when we redo our intro opening quot that's yours man yeah anyway oh well good Rob what you think of the cinematography oh look I mean I'm just curious I mean is [ __ ] narrow Focus all of that [ __ ] is probably yeah and but he also he wasn't a camera operator he was just the Director of Photography so he did choose the lenses and and told everyone how he wanted it

to look but somebody somebody else was actually doing that yeah yeah pin sharp Focus thing didn't bother me but it was unnecessary yeah but I thought some of the wider stuff was [ __ ] beautiful oh sure yeah yeah it's just it intents to do it for the whole [ __ ] movie yeah yeah yeah and people are confused was it you that sent us that um yeah sent us that that like why is this movie out of focus yeah yeah yeah I think actually think I said that to you later yeah yeah the um because it's not out of focus there's there's something sharp but sometimes you got to look for it yeah yeah yeah cuz they're used to being able to see everything and this you can't see everything yeah yeah no I was into it all right so I guess multiple nerdgasm

gives Army the de a thumbs up sorry Matt overall you're wrong you did like it after all it turns out I did like it sticking with the zombie theme MH there's geek of the week no there's a new movie coming out or being made that I'm I have no idea where this is coming from so Rob Zombie is making a Monsters movie yes he uh he announced this week that it's been greenlit he's making a Monsters movie now I must say there's been several monsters remakes over the years I mean as aside from which is the monsters was clearly just a a knockoff of The Adams Family to begin with but I still do have a soft spot for the original Monsters but they've done several reboot movies of this already and they've all been awful now is this

going to be like a family version of it because that's my question is can Rob Zombie do as like a goofy stupid comedy comedy either way if Rob Zombie says this is the monsters but they [ __ ] eat each other and it's hardcore I'm thinking if he goes for like the familyfriendly version of it the children are not going to get the monsters like it's a TV show from the 60s still going to have his wife ass in it somewhere yeah he going to get those ticket paying customers through the door yeah ticket paying customers yeah that's what we call them in the biz ticket paying yeah that works yeah I don't know why that sounds weird but it does work yeah yeah okay I'm inan wait I don't love all Rob zombies movies but I
